The heaviest load of a nation is the subject of being their leader. I think, one person can bear it. Others are busy enough to their style, haircut and old being (needs more care, isolated hospitals).

Nation is not a nation if it has not culture. Arcade Fire is a party of our cultural things which has moral values, motivation and encouragement, and so on.

Arcade Fire, sports, and other jobs are the parties which arrange a nation's eyes to the right path. Why? Because they create business, no one will think about some thing bad because being busy to his job or entertainment. So, who ever say, Arcade fire is liked by the children or it is bad thing, he or she has not understood it's great role. It has great scope in every society.

Those qualities proves that Obama can lead the nation into the real change.

I happen to think the support of 27, yes 27 flag generals, is a lot more of an endorsement for Hillary Clinton!!

These strong men support the only other person they feel is strong enough to lead this great country, THEY TRUST HILLARY CLINTON!!

Hmmm, let's see, do you value the opinion of Arcade Fire, a bunch of Canadians, or 27 of our most distinguished highly decorated American generals? The question and answer speaks for itself!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!! VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON!! HILLARY 08

Hey Kim - just read your post about Obama/Powell - except I think you mean Obama/Powell 08 - would hate for you to show up to the polls a year late. In reality I think you have some real substance in your posting - I am a Caucasian male who would love to see the mold of giving us only stuffy Caucasian males for president shattered beyond repair - I mean in many cases some of these guys could not be less inspiring or effective leaders. The sad thing is this Obama character in my opinion is so lacking in substance that it is astounding the attention he draws and it will be in my humble opinion a shame if he is in the history books as the first nontraditional US president - we have had eight years of mediocrity with Bush - I do not feel like another four years of mediocrity with the empty words of Obama, who himself only a few years back when he ran for the US Senate said that he would not consider a National campaign because of his lack of experience - but now Colin Powell I would feel very differently about - he is a man who I believe has real substance and would have been more in the limelight now if the Bush administration had not shafted him as Secretary of State (thanks Bush - another great job - wish you had listened more to Powell instead of giving us one of your stooges in Rice) So yeah Kim - I am with you except change that around in my opinion and take Obama out of the equation COMPLETELY and give us Powell!! Otherwise Clinton or McCain get my vote.

Just heard Will. I.Am's new song....sounds tooo much like cult worship for me.

Maybe what Obama needs to be is a guru or a tel-evangelist. He definitely has you guys in a trance. Looks a little alarming for me.

This sounds like bangwagon mentality now and not locially sound and focused judgement.

I'm disappointed in the indie rock scene. I thought the point of indie culture was to think for yourself, not follow the crowd. When I think for myself, looking at the actual issues, it's clear that the best candidate is Hillary Clinton.

Kathy, from comment 1: I am a fan of Arcade Fire and have known who they are for years; it is moronic, immature, and irrelevent to suggest that Clinton supporters aren't 'hip.'

As we all should have learned in high school, what's cool isn't always right.

This is Womens History Month. Why not really celebrate it by allowing Hillary to make history as the first-ever US President! Instead we have all these male singers joining forces with the one man who is standing in the way of this history-making event. When the woman is clearly the most qualified, why give the job to a man? Haven't we had enough of this sexism in America?

Awesome - Love that Obama has the ears of youth - maybe he can convince them to stop driving around with those ridiculous sound systems blasting base out of the trunk of their cars - I usually can feel the vibration inside my body for a minute or so before they actually drive by - hey if he is president maybe I would at least get that out of it - I mean he looks about as uptight in those suits as any corporate exec I have seen so he cannot possibly like the base boomers either. LOL - what a joke this primary is proving to be.

Let's see, celebrities only count if they're for Hillary. Got it....
My mind spins at the hypocrisies forwarded on these message boards. I have to put on my twisted logic hat to keep up with everything

Having said that...
It doesn't matter to me how Hillary has run her campaign, I will not vote for her under any circumstances, even if it means sitting out this election, I will not vote for McCain either.

Hillary lost my vote forever when she consistently rolled over and played dead and fetched for Bush. She's been Bush and Co's lapdog for the past several years……….UNTIL it wasn't prudent to do so because NOW she wants to be president.

IF you've been paying attention for longer than the past 6 months…you'd know this is just one of her 'experienced' rolls she's played.

This isn't a sporting event where you root for your team no matter how they're playing the game. It's real life, with real problems in our country.

The definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over again...hoping for a different outcome. Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush,Clinton.

Ready on Day One? Is this going to require, from now on, that every one suitable for the presidency will have to have lived in the white house first?

C'mon people.....let's play this record out.

hahaha, this country is in trouble. We can not vote based on the best interest on the country, instead on some nonsense speeches, rock stars. Obama claimed he opposed the Iraq war, did he vote? and based on the information FBI and CIA provided, he still said "No". What kind of thought he had, put our country in danger, or something is hidden? My vote goes to McCain if Hillary is not the nomination.

James Smith writes:

This is news? Forget about issues, let's talk about how cool Sen. Obama is to be endorsed by rock bands. The 20-some odd flag generals that showed support for Sen. Clinton during her speech on foreign policy makes her seem like such a nerd. Vote for cool, America!!!!!

Now this scares me that young people would vote jfor someone just because a rock bank endorses. This is what we have been saying all along Obama is only getting the young vote because of stuff such as this. GROW UP

Leave or Love Obama is the....................2008

Fresh brain can do a lot for the United State's future development. I hope, the time of prosperity of each and every one is appeared depending only the correct placement of your single vote.

Who will give us rest, refreshment, and excitement, if we vote for our wives. The house will be yours and you would play with the dogs.

Care and Cure the health of the society with the help of your power.

This sounds pretty silly to me. An indie Canadian rock band with a limited college audience doesn't sound like a smart way to go when trying to capture the conservative, blue collar Democrats of Ohio. This might serve to capture a few college votes for him but may alienate core democratic voters in the state and may not resonate well with undecided voters. He would have been better having Stevie Wonder of Beyonce headline for him. They have much greater universal appeal and would attract an audience more likely to vote on Tuesday.

My college kids say they are going to camp out the night before for front row seats and then leave when the band finishes.

Arcade Fire? I don't think this is as much of an endorsement for Obama, as it is drumming up exposure for their band.

They probably think Obama is running against the only Hillary they know about, HILLARY DUFF. Since they are relatively unknowns, they should concentrate more on their record sales.

Obviously, they are looking for a way to boost their career in the name of politics. Not COOL guys!

This is for Mr McCain. Nafta means North American Free Trade Agreement. Our soldiers are not for trade, they are there for NATO, for Afganistan and for Canada, so I sugest that you leave them out of your politics. By the way do you know how many have died for the good of the people of Afganistan? I think they deserve your respect.

Its called a rally for a reason, to get people excited. Also, the band wanted to do this, not other way around. If Obama campaign said no, all of you people complaining would have then said, oh Obama think he is too good to have an Canadian band at his rally. It is very common to have bands play at rallies.

This comes in reply to Peter who noted (and those are not my typos or grammatical errors I’m copying into this quote): “You people are keep saying that he doesn't have experience and can't make decisions… yet you say he is the chairmen of the European committee. How come an inexperienced senator be a chairman? The reason why he is a chairman is because his experience and can make a sound judgment. Remember IRAQ. Is Hillary a chairman of anything? May be chairman of dirty politics.”

The sad fact is, Peter, a title itself does not infer any experience whatsoever. And Barack himself confessed he as Chairman had not convened any oversight meetings because he was too busy campaigning. So, certainly, he can make decisions—and in this case he obviously “decided” it was more important to campaign for President than to actually do something about the military situation in Afghanistan, the same situation he talks so much about on the campaign trail and promises to fix “when he is President.” Well, he’s already had more than a year to do something about it—so I can’t say that gives me a lot of faith. But while they’ve both been campaigning, Hillary has actually implemented actions to provide better care on several fronts for our military members so valiantly serving our country, she took on the President to ensure injured military members did not have to give back their sign-on bonuses as was unfortunately happening under the Bush administration, and the list goes on. And no, she wasn’t doing that as a Chairman of any committee, simply doing her job as a lowly member of the Senate Armed Forces Committee. I don’t see how anybody can call that dirty politics—it is a part of what politics is supposed to be about. But I guess Barack hasn’t learned that yet; he’s too busy giving speeches. (He gave another speech too—the one where he told the constituents that had just voted him into the US Senate that he would be serving out his entire term because he wasn’t experienced enough to run for President yet. Oops, guess he and all his supporters forgot about that one too.) Sorry, but I’d rather vote for the person who actually does the jobs she’s been hired for and has gained the actual experience; not the one who only makes pretty speeches about it but then fails to follow through. Our country is in too precarious a situation for that—please think about who you’re really voting for people.

Seems to be more of the same... scorched earth strategy and fear tactics vs. authenticity and good judgment. And voting for Obama does not mean one has a misguided view on the role of women in society; that is just wrong to say. On that logic, a vote for Hillary would be perceived as racist, which is totally incorrect!

Arcade Fire should not swing anybody either way, but I still say go Obama!

Also I would respect Hillary more if she would be transparent about things like financials and tax returns.

Obama's entire campaign has been an overwhelmingly positive one. He is truly a blessed man and we can't wait to cast our votes for him THIS TUESDAY ( we are counting down the days). We support President Obama.

Look, Hillary is the past, Barack is the future. Maybe another time, Hillary would have been right for our times. She is more of the same that we've seen in Washington for decades. Why would you want more of the same? Her campaign has been nearly entirely gender-based. I'm sorry, it's not just about women, it's about all of us. Barack is all-inclusive. He has united millions of people world-wide. Bush, Clinton, Bush, why another Clinton, I ask you? It's not Hillary's turn, it's the people's turn. The people are taking back their interest in politics and are taking back their government. I am proud to support Barack Obama. He has inspired me to care and volunteer for my country.

And yes, of course because they're young voters, they're crazed. Yet Hillary cries and then suddenly wins a primary, who are the crazed voters?

Chris in Orlando

Just because you're out of the loop in music doesn't mean everyone else is. The Arcade Fire are one of the top bands in Indie Rock today..
They sell out shows where ever they play.

What the hell is the point of the campaign BUT to get people to vote for you? Are you that dense? Why's Hillary going on Jon Stewart's show? For fun?

This comes in reply to NW above who stated: “Would Laura Bush or any other first lady so arrogantly claim such experience? I do not think so. And if spouses count as they seem to in HRC's mind, then Michelle Obama is equally an expert in the matters of health care as her job attests.”

IF Laura Bush or any other first lady aside from Clinton or Michelle Obama HAD actually implemented a national health care program that is now responsible for providing health insurance through the federally sponsored/jointly funded state programs to 6 million American children that would otherwise not have it (a plan by the way which Obama has chosen to implement in his state, as have 38 other states) OR had spoken out independently to the U.N. on Chinese soil about Human Rights and Women’s Rights, then they certainly would be entitled to claim such experience. But they didn’t. Hillary Clinton did (among many other accomplishments, independent of her husband)! So Hillary Clinton is certainly entitled and should very rightly reference these accomplishments and experience (even though Barack seems more than happy to try to take credit for that health care in his state without giving any credit whatsoever to her).

Hillary supporters are losing it. It is a sign that Hillary is losing and desperate.

From the polls, we know that the educated with at least a college degree vote for Obama and the opposite vote for Hillary. Hillary is still in the race mainly because of women and racially motivated people.

Wake up people. You made a mistake with Bush. Now don't repeat again Hillary is FRAUD. Why would you vote for someone who refuse to release her tax return.

SAY NO TO BUSH AND CLINTON.

CLINTON = ANOTHER 4 YEARS OF BUSH.

OBAMA = CHANGE.
