Obama mocks Clinton... mocking Obama

Obama stopped in Rhode Island Saturday.

Obama stopped in Rhode Island Saturday.

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (CNN) - It was one week ago Sunday that Hillary Clinton stood in the rec center at Rhode Island College and mocked fellow presidential candidate Barack Obama for his campaign's theme of hope, saying Obama can't just "wave a magic wand and have the special interests disappear."

Now, this Saturday, the Illinois senator took that same stage and couldn't resist bringing up her comments, now immortalized on Web sites like YouTube.

"I think she was here, right?" Obama said toward the end of his stump speech. "She was saying 'Oh, you know, he thinks that the clouds will part and… [that] he's so naïve.'"

The room quickly erupted in "boos."

"Wait, wait, wait," he said.

"He thinks he can wave a magic wand," he continued, mocking Clinton's impression, "and suddenly everything will be great."

Obama then went in to his standard stump lines, saying it's true he "talks about hope a lot." He then defended his rationale in doing so.

Obama has to attack Clinton. He can't really talk about experience.
His experience is weak. Clinton is the only one whose resume is ready to be President of the United States.

    Wake up America!
Read about Farrakan and the United Trinity Church in Chicago and you'll learn about a new Obama that no one talks about.

Resko is another search everyone should do on other websites.

    Wake up America!!!!!!!!!!!

Sen. Clinton can make fun all she wants; her humor should be the least of Sen. Obama's concerns. I'll take integrity, intelligence, courage, and hope, over lobbyists, irrelevant experience, ambivalence, and cynicism. Sen. Obama is clearly the better candidate. Women leaders...reject Sen. Clinton's portrayal of a leader. We can do better!

yes, Barack Obama is a wit when it comes to countering Hillary Clinton, or John McCain for that matter...he gets a laugh or a boo or whatever.....the problem is that he reminds me of my daughter when she was a teenager. It was only when she became more mature that she stopped to think about what I had levelled at her and could come up with more than a smart alec response.

This is a rough and tumble campaign. To put it plainly, you can't take down the lobbying and the corporations...they are america and will alsways be. So who do I trust? Bill Clinton was hated by Republicans and everyone's life including the wealthy got better during his administration. I think Hillary understands just about everything and she is what we need. If Obama wins, great, but he is, truely, too inexperienced. It's not only a rough and tuble campaign, it's a rough and toumble Middle East and corporate america is no joke. If I remember correctly, Obama was on the wrong track in his life not too long ago and has only been a member of our government for a snipit of time in comparison to his rival, Clinton. Let's get real, anyone with a good phychiatrist or phycologist who is somewhat intelligent can talk like Obama. This isn't about Civil Rights motivational speeking champions, this is about our National Security and our Homeland Economy. Let me ask you something...was the economy great and were we relatively safer under Clinton or Bush? May the chips fall where they should. God Speed America!

Obama has no experience. Though I am a staunch democrat I will rather perfer to vote for a Republican than Obama.

Wow......does he ever come up with anything original. He follows her lead in everything. She comes out with an ad, then he comes out with the same ad, she mocks him, so he mocks her, she answers the questions first, and he just says that he agrees with her, she comes out with her health care plan, then he copies it almost exactly.

What will he do in office? Call her to see what he should think?

It's all very easy to respond to something, and "one up" it. It's much harder to make your own mind up and stick to it.

    I want a leader, not a follower.

Good for Him! It's light hearted in that they both poke fun at each other. Much better than a bunch of lies..........and scare tactics the Clinton campaign has moved on to.

Obama should mock himself pretending to write a speech that he mocks as his own that was someone elses mocking him mocking them. Whatever!?

My point, this makes about as much sense as Obama does.

    ...not even news worthy...

    Go Hillary!

The only special power that Barack Obama is using, is reminding the
American voters that WE THE PEOPLE are the ones that have the power to control the way things are done on our behalf in this country. Its really
not all about Obama himself, but WE as Americans, regardless of who you are. The detractors and the haters are the ones that are against that principle
because they are the ones that probably profit from the powers of corruption and attempted mind control in Washington. The power to think for yourself IS the magic.

    OBAMA 08.

The use of the word "mock" to describe Senator Obama's comments is a pretty clear example of CNN's bias against Senator Obama. Watch the video and sense the tone; he's clearly describing what she said, not doing some over-the-top histrionics to counter her routine. This is not some "tit-for-tat" thing, and it's unfair for CNN to imply that it is.

Watch the video and draw your own conclusions.
