I feel very sad tonight! We have seen a man I admire as a great patriot elected to run for President at the age of 71. Our grandparent's ages. I admire him, but have been around so many seniors who start becoming muddled in their thinking as time goes on. It saddens me to think that something like this could happen to the possible president. I don't feel comfortable about his age, his fits of temper, his alignment with George Bush, so many other feelings. We are seniors and know how time changes lifestyles. The job as President is very trying and tiring. Young men leave gray haired and worn, I just don't feel comfortable with this. We are too vulnerable a nation right now, and to receive Bush's blessings is almost like an annointing by his predecessor. Four more years of Bush policy…saddens me.

If Bush really wanted McCain to win in November he would endorse Ralph Nader.

That really puts McCain between a rock and a hard place. He needs the conservatives that blindly follow Bush and Co, but Bush and Co are so hugely unpopular that it will turn off tons and tons of people to have the two equated even more closely than they already are. McCain CANNOT allow Bush to stump for him and ABSOLUTELY CANNOT appear anywhere with him or he will sign his own campaign death certificate.
