This opposite positioning is what made him appealing to many Americans. Today, and from this point forward, he will absolutely be the SAME as the Bush administration, and consequently be forced to work from a position that has been...at least on the surface...uncomfortable for him. If it is not, than the truth will out, and he and GW are in fact joined at the hip. It will be of little consequence which candidate the Democratic Party will oppose him with for the presidential race. McCain...or McSAME as the recently published ad refers to him, will lose by the widest margin ever recorded in presidential history, and be shamed for the rest of his life.
