Clinton campaign raises $3 million in a day

Clinton's campaign said it raised $3 million in the day after its string of victories.

(CNN) - Hillary Clinton’s campaign has raised $3 million online since her string of victories Tuesday night, an aide said Thursday.

Since lending her campaign $5 million shortly before the February 5 Super Tuesday contests, Clinton’s fundraising fortunes have improved considerably, though Barack Obama’s campaign has continued to outspend her.

Donations to Clinton’s campaign climbed from $14 million in January to roughly $35 million in February. Obama’s campaign raised $36 million in January, and has not yet released its February fundraising numbers. His advisers have said only that the total is “considerably higher” than Clinton’s.

The New York senator won three out of four Democratic primaries Tuesday night, beating Obama in Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island. Obama claimed a victory in Vermont.

1:00 p.m. UPDATE: Clinton's campaign announced it has raised $4 million since Tuesday's contests and $6 million in the month of March.

Hey, Matt, I saw everyone chanting "yes we can" at Hillary's speech in Ohio the other night! I couldn't stop laughing! Not only does she try to copy and be like Obama......but now her supporters are copying Obama supporters and Obama slogans! Too funny!

Hillary can scratch and crawl and screw people out of money, but she has no way of getting the DELEGATES she needs to win the nomination.

  7. Billary Huckabee

Two more Billary Huckabee loses come Saturday (Wyoming) and Tuesday (Mississippi). Two states where the "Hispanic" and "RepubliCONs" vote can not put you over the top!!!

When is a so-called "turning the corner" campaign still getting beat down like a dead horse? When you have 20 point leads that get lose in 2 weeks and you net on 8 delegates from it!!!

By next Wednesday, 2 more loses and Obama will get the 8 delegates back and then some...Media Provided Momentum is not REALITY!!! You can't win BILLARY!!! Let's split Florida and Michigan's delegates 50/50 and call it a nomination!!!

    Obama 08!!!

Good for her. She might want to use it to chip in for the Florida and Michigan illegal re-do's because that is the only way she can win this thing. The numbers don't lie...she has to win all the remaining contests by blow out wins, to get close to him. That 11 win streak of his racked up an insurmountable tally of delegates. The only way she can win now is by hook or by crook...so, of course no one is counting her out.

Don't be mad because your old peach is not wanted. More people believe in Obama, that is why he makes so much money.

I cannot understand how anyone can vote for Hilary. I respect her, her courage and ambition, yet people seem to forget all the scandals that have followed the Clintons since the days in Arkansas till the days in the Whitehouse. We need change. Even till this day there are so many questions...why is she not disclosing her tax records? People tend to forget that while she was a member of the Board at Wal-Mart...the Board refused to allow Unions. Yet Ohio, which is 99% Union, voted for her? Wake America, we need to read the facts. Obama represents change. He may not have the years of experience like Hilary, but we all need to realize that she has demonstrated in those years of experience what she cannot do, is keep her word and be trustworthy.

Good for her, even better for Mark Penn. Now he can charge Senator Cliton even more. For those of you who skip medicine in order to donate to Senator Cliton's campaign, at least you can ask her staff not to stay at the Four Seasons. If Cliton loses, it's because she just does not have the judgement to hire the right people to work her. She deserves a much better support from her staff.

Agree! Hillary is the best alternative to Obama. I am very disappointed in the black population. After all what Bill and Hillary has done for them. They turn around and show their true color. They support black and will only vote black. If that not being racist..then tell me what it is? And because of this racism, I will definitely vote Hillary or McCain. I am sure many others will as well, just to keep him from either being the nominee or president. Sorry, you Obamains!

  15. An Agnostic Democrat

The only thing transparent about Hillary is how fake she is, how she'll do anything to win, and now as we find out, it was really her campaign that contacted the Canadian government and gave the wink-wink on NAFTA. Typical Clintonian hypocrisy. Can't wait for Her Thighness to get her pant suit cut to shreds over all the other secrets and lies she's been tellin'.

Hillary is a loser and all you who support her know McCain will rake her over the coals on a number of issues that the Clintons have been hiding, including their pending campaign fraud lawsuit.

TO TIM...... NO RACISM.....HILLARY WAS WAY AHEAD AMONG BLACKS BEFORE THEIR CAIMPAIGN TRIED TO MAKE HIM OUT TO ONLY APPEAL TO BLACK VOTERS.....IT WAS A SMART MOVE BUT BACKFIRED............INCONTRAST IT UNITED THE VOTE TOWARDS OBAMA....AND DIDNT FOOL ANY OF THE OTHER RACES ....EXCEPT FOR A SELECT FEW LIKE YOURSELF........OBAMA WILL WIN THE NOMINATION BECAUSE THE SMARTER PEOPLE WILL PREVAIL IN THIS DECISION VERSUS THE LESS EDUCATED LIKE YOURSELF.....OBAMA 2008

Obama needs to fold the tent and go home to testify in the Rezko case.
This is Hillary's turn, so go away and let her be the nominee. You are ruining it for the Democrats, just like Huckabee was a torn on the side of the Republicans. Go Hillary, NoBama in 08

Hillary Huckabee (the candidate that doesn't know when to stop) should be as clear about her tax returns numbers as she is about her fundraising numbers...

clinton has been using dirty tactics and attack ads. she had a 20% margin over obama in ohio just a few weeks ago and he made it a close race. in my eyes, that should be viewed as a victory for obama because he maintained his delegate lead-also, im not sure how anyone can trust hillary, especially with her fake accents and smile. her and her family are corrupt bureaucrats that are only looking out for their own egos and power-im not an obama supporter, but i would not be upset if he was president
