Questions, questions, questions...

Aren't we beyond the question of the "dream" ticket?

Is this an act of desperation on the part of the Clinton campaign?

Why am I not as excited about the "dream team?"

What about Obama as President and Hillary as Vice President?

Will this nomination process ever end?

Will the Mississippi, Pennsylvnia and the superdelegates finally "put us out of our misery?"

Is the Presidential election really an eterenity (I mean eight months) away?

So, many questions. So few answers.

...but alas, I still have hope.

With this move she:
Eats into Obama's base for change.
Gets perceived as the Democratic Party uniter.
Shows initiative and leadership.

It IS appropriate to say that a candidate is less suited for the top job, but better qualified for the supporting position. That is what usually happens to candidates that show the potential to blossom in the future.

commander-in-chief material...i mean anyone who believes that is
as dumb as a rock. she and her staff must believe that we are a bunch

#1 Hillary was not the only one who voted to go to war but it was to be the last resort not an approval to go with out trying every other option.
#2 As first lady she was involved in many of Bill's negotiations, and as Senator she has been more involved in foreign afairs than Obama, who has not even voted on most issues. Present just doesn't cut it.
#3 She has co-authered over 50 bills with Republicans, how many has Obama co-authered?

If Hillary is already offering the VP slot, I would say this is another case of declaring "mission accomplished" a little too soon. Obama clearly has the inside track to the nomination at this point in time. And after weeks of her saying he's not ready to be commander in chief, she now thinks he would make a great VP (a heart beat away from commander in chief)? By the way..Clinton is ONLY 99 delegates short of what Obama has totaled currently. I would not get too fixated on the lead since Hillary will win PA and take the lead once again. If one state separates the will of the people, I think it very naive for Obama supporters to use his short-term leverage of a "lead" to claim instant victory. It is not over, and maybe some voters are not for Hillary because they are internally sexist or socially developed to feel this way about a female leader. Whatever, the case, the amount of hate and name-calling that some citizens use against Clinton is morally wrong. I have yet to hear this type of venom spewed against Obama from Clinton supporters, and this is telling on what type of society we currently still live in. It is scary, anti-social, and displays serious character flaws of some people. Also, it is immature and I hope the blogger who called hillary a "witch" does not have any children, for she has not grown up herself.

I am a democrat and I have voted for democrats since 1980. I support Senator Obama in his bid to become the democratic nominee for presidency because I believe in his message of change. If Hillary win this nomination and then goes on to win the election (and her reelection in 2012) that would mean that from 1988 until 2016, twenty-eight years, we would only have had two families rule this country, BUSHES and CLINTON. I think the Clinton camp will be eating their words soon. They have been talking about a joint ticket, preferrably in their mind Obama as VP. They proclaim that Obama cannot be the president because of his lack of foreign experience, but he should be VP. But under scrutiny of well if he does not have "foreign policy" experience then why should he be VP they have no answer.

There will be no joint ticket. Hillary faces a huge uphill battle to win the nomination even if Florida and Michigan are seated. Obama will not pick her as VP. She adds nothing to the ticket and will energize the repulican base besides. If Hillary does manage to mount a comeback promoting her "Experience" then what will she do when someone with real experience like McCain comes along? Run on a change ticket?
