(CNN) - Clinton campaign manager Maggie Williams issued the following statement:
"We congratulate Senator Obama for his win in Mississippi and thank our supporters and volunteers there for their support, hard work, and long hours. Now we look forward to campaigning in Pennsylvania and around the country as this campaign continues."

First No surprise, Mississippi, has always been divided by color lines. Second! DO HILLARY SUPPORTERS, REALLY BELIEVE NY, NJ, MS, CA, WILL NOT BE BLUE IN NOVEMBER? Please, her argument tht she has won the big states does not fly. She didn't even win big in those states. Obama, has the chance of pulling in republicans and independents. HE WON WITH WHITE VOTE IN ALL THOSE MIDWEST STATES, NOT AFRICN-AMERICANS. Hillary cannot draw republican or independents, and we need to think about what is best for the party. NOT OUR EGOS OR BIRTH RIGHT!
This is the first time I have read Clinton congratulating Obama this quickly on a win by him. Man, she's got to be serious about this 'dream ticket' idea!
Can someone please explain the statement made by a poster here that "Obama plays the race card like a fiddle." When has Obama ever made his race an issue? Hillary and her supporters have made gender and race an issue throughout this campaign. I see the writing on the wall here. I was hoping that the younger generation could serve as an example for the rest of us... It's not about the color of that man's skin. It's about the fact that most folk in America that voted for him did so because they believe him to be better qualified.
Congratulations to hillary and her camp. I have never been a racial situation until now. I would like to thank her for bringing out the true feelings of the mentality of the people in south. I thought America had gotten a couple of rings up the ladder until this race.

Perhaps now, Hillary will consider what so many democrats are hoping for, that she will gracefully bow out of this race and halt the ongoing division in the democratic party that will give McCain the edge in the general election. We need the party to come together and support one candidate, and that should be Obama!

To Tom Grippe, CNN waited until long after the polls were closed before reporting anything. They called the race based on a combination of exit polls affirmed by early returns.
Do your research before you make up stuff people. Hillary (and BO) have always congratulated each other for each state – via televised speech or statement issued or telephone call.
