Blacks 91% to 6% Obama and Clinton. Whites 72% to 21% Clinton and Obama. It seems that blacks or about 20% more racist than whites. Nothing new, just more obvious. Seems that White men or finally catching on to the trend. I quess they can be forgiven for not realizing they don't hold the power anymore.

Some of these comments are just ridiculous... of course Obama gets more independents and republicans that are legit, they've been voting for him since the beginning. When did Hillary start to get republican votes???? AFTER Rush Limbaugh started asking his listeners to go vote for her. Geeez... are you guys that dumb?

I'm a Strong Obama supporter but I think that hillary's camp is stuck on "race" and it is driving this nomination to unbelievable heights. I feel like it's the 1960's all over again. All I can do is continue to support Obama and be amazed at the supporters of hillary and them dancing in streets celebrating the racial baits. I will always look at the white lady in the next office in a different light.

the limbaugh effect is real and it is distorting the will of the voters who actually care about the democratic party and its nomination process.

of course, americans have a right to vote, and limbaugh unfortunately has a right to speak, so it's hard to know what to do about it. hopefully most of the upcoming races will be closed as opposed to open primaries.

Let's Stop the childish chatter. Obama is BLACK and WHITE. He represents both sides. He is very intelligent, mature, and is going to win. I am black and I take offense to this. People want to talk about race, but doesn't tend to look at the fact that our parties is economically and regionally divided. The rural parts of the states consists of people that like the old politics. The urban parts of the states consists of people that want CHANGE. OBAMA is that change!!!!!!!

I believe Hillary is the best candidate to go against Mc Cain in November. Obama can give a good motivational speech but the substance is not there. It is also important to mention here that he does well with caucuses. I sincerely hope that if and when they decide to do over Florida and Michigan( which I hope will not happen) that it will be a fair voting and no caucus. They mention mailing in which I believe would not be a good idea either because this election is too important to take any chances with fraud. We voted in Florida and Obama was all over the television here being well represented.

Jay in Kansas,
Do you know who you are talking about? She is THE most divisive person in American politics. Did you see how she went about health care when given the chance? she didnt even allow democrats to have input even though there was already a plan in place.

We are talking all of the insignificant differences to death. If you want to know the REAL difference between Barack Obama and the Clintons try this one: Who is the candidate who can beat the republicans in November? We don't need a poll for this one. The Clintons beat the republicans at a time when the republicans were on the dominant rise to power; and the Clintons beat them twice. So lets review recent history; We had Reagon for eight years, Bush # 1 for four, the Clintons for eight years and and Bush # 2 for eight years. Forget the delagate and super delegate count, lets do the real math. Republican rule 20 years and 8 years of the Clintons. Where was Obama when the Clintons were winning and leading the nation?

I am an independent and usually tend to vote democratic but have voted republican at times. This year I am having great difficulties as to voting for Obama. I think he has really used the race card aand I fear there is trouble brewing in this country. I may have to swallow hard and vote for McCain. If Obama wins he will be a one term president very similar to Jimmy Carter, he is a poor choice.

Jay in Kansas quoted Hillary's comment when voting to authorize Pres. Bush to wage war, which includes the admonishment to "use these powers wisely."

How foolish can anyone be to expect Geo Bush to "act wisely."

A clear example of poor judgment!

First, It didnt say these GOPer were going to vote McCain in the general election, it said that they though of McCain in a positive light. I am a registered Republican who will be voting for Clinton if she survives to the general election, and I too view McCain in a favorable light.

everyone can thank Rush Limbaugh for making a mockery of the election primaries by pushing republicans to go out and vote for Hillary for only the reason of having Hillary as the nominee because they think MCBush will beat her .Rush Limbaugh reflects a poor example of an American in my opinon and its a disservice to Hillary as well even tho I am hoping Obama wins

Reality Check #1,

Your stupid logic is insulting. How many white presidents have we had? And how many white voters have voted for these white candidates every general election on Nov. 4th? Here is the answer - 100% of white voters voted for a white candidate for president.

"Exit Polls: Clinton draws Republican support".

Reason for the "racial divide", anyone?

To the person who blamed Obama for this, well, misplaced blame is an understatement, don't you think?

Hillary has endorsed McCain over Obama, why should the republicans not vote for her?

They know that Hillary will unite them against the the democrats in November.

Am I the only person in America that thinks that just maybe all of these white voters in all these white states ; Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, etc are voting for Obama because they really want change, (a black man in the White House), or are they (republicans) voting for his nomination but have no intentions of voting for him in the general election? Is this a republican trick? DNC, CNN, Donna Brazil, can anyone answer
this question?

I believe Obama is the right choice, he made it clear that the campaign is neither race nor gender.
We need changes and obama is a symbol of unity not only in America but round the World.

I think you are giving way to much credit to Rush Limbaugh. I know he has followers but most of them would get lost trying to find a polling place. I think its good for the democrats that there is crossover. I question calling it an anti Obama vote by republicans, I believe that if they took their time to vote in a democratic primary they did so because they see there are problems caused by the republicans over the last 7 years.

Obama is the Trojan horse of the Republicans, courtesy of Dick Cheenye his cousin. He is bale to unite the Blacks and divide the White people. He will lose in the general election because the Black voters are just minority towin the general election. the Republicans will again control the White House for another four years and thanks to Obama.

Obama will win the general election.
Let be honest. Clinton won what so call big states like California, New york, new Jersey. Those states will be democrats in November for either Clinton or Obama. But Obama is most likely carying some so call republicain states, because of independents and some young republicain who want to embrace the Obama message.
go Obama!

My mom is a Republican. She has said repeatedly that she'd rather have Clinton than Obama as president. I think a lot of Republicans feel the same way. This is similar to the Michigan primary where a sizable number of Democrats voted for McCain.

What a bunch of spin.

Thanks Jay for the post.

Thanks also for the posts on several threads which list all of the Senators- many who now support/follow Obama- who voted just like Hillary (Dodd, Kerry, etc).

When white men vote for Obama you don't report it as mischief by the Republicans but support. If voters of Mississippi decide to switch to a Democratic candidate in this case Hillary Clinton it's suddenly the conspiracy theory when in fact it's support of the candidate of their choice.

Hillary has crossover appeal as well as Barack does. Just ask this Black Female.

Just remember if Obama wins the nomination, he WILL need the Clinton supporters to beat McCain. Watch your nasty comments or you may turn off some voters from joining Obama.

This election cycle is turning out to be a humdinger. I did a calculation on the pledged delegates, awarding all delegates to the candidates who who the state. Not surprisingly, Hillary came out on top by almost 200 delegates. It may be something worth discussing for the future.

Why does this have to be considered mischief? Ann Colter made it clear to her listeners that she would rather have Clinton as president over Obama.

Obama has more than benefited from the anti-Hillary vote up until this point. Consider this the anti-Barack vote.

If Obama losses the nomination he should run as an independent so that Clinton can't win anyway. I used to be a fan of the Clintons, until Hillary got involved in politics. She knows the majority of Americans don't want her as president. So maybe she wants to take the ship down with her meaning the Democratic Party. When McCain wins the election for the presidency, it will be the Clintons fault. Maybe then they'll move out of the country since theyll never win another election again.

What is fair is fair. Feraaro was right saying " blacks are voting for Obamo because he is black. CNNN is sexis because Hillary won more Republican votes and Indepedent in Mississipi and CNN suggested that because Rush Lush, conservtive radio told the republicans to vote for weak candidate, Hillary. CNN are campaigning and promoting Obama just because he is man.
I am black but i have to be fair

Seriously CNN- you're so BIASED! When Obama gets Republican votes, he is bipartisan, when Hillary does, they're being strategic. You have to be kidding me!

Republicans voting for Obama before they had a nominee is MUCH different than them voting for Clinton after a nominee was chosen...

But Clinton supporters are all morons anyway. I mean, if that red phone ad ended with McCain picking up the phone they would be LIVID, but since it was Hillary fear mongering, it was OK!
