if any one thinks any of the presidential hopefuls are have intergrity or honesty they are drunk themselves on that beer while watching march madness and his bs bracket. any JA can pick the number #1'S, its those that can pick out the winners amongst losers that will be impressive, I say let the florida vote stand, give out delegates as voted and do the re-vote in Michigan. Then all the whiners can stop crying over their vote not counting(like it will count anyways when superdelegates will determined the outcome) I dont care who wins as long as it is a democrat i will vote. HRC or BHO lets go people

Why worry about the environment, the war on terror, the fiasco in Iraq, the economy, our soaring National Debt, the sorry state of our military, our dysfunctional Justice Department when there is basketball to be played?

I can't vote for Hillary, I am not certain I trust Obama even though I'd like to, and then Senator McCain does something stupid like this.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

All of you Hillarites need to wake up and understand it is not Obama handing the election over it is Hillary and her negativity...and may I add who first started it. Hillary should try to stay on the issues but it seems that she can't because she is so eagar to tear down and discredit her opponent....Hillarites get real!

Dear Tom,

April 15th is the deadline-but it is also the last possible day for Hillary to get her lies straight regarding her taxes. It is the last possible day to keep the media at bay, (while they attack her opponent), not her deception and lies.

Also, will she share her 2006 taxes which will reveal Bill Clinton's supporters for his library. I think not, because she has a history of "untruths" let's say.

Tom, anyone presidential nominee who waits until the last day to reveal their taxes is hiding something. Once again, Americans will be "shocked" that there are lies coming from the Clinton camp. Not this American, never again.

March maddnes has nothing to do with sports. If Obama is the nominee McCain will get the Reagan Democrats. Myself being one of them. The threat of riots will not endear me to Obama. His ties to Rezko, his mentor, Rev. Wright, are anything but uniting. He states in the Rezko matter, that no favors were done on either side? The house he wanted to buy required the lot next door must be sold at the same time. Just so happens Rezko was in the market for a vacant lot which he promply sold part of to Obama. I would view this as an enormous favor, wouldn't you? Rev. Wrights comments, which he claims while in close contact with for twenty years he was unaware of, I find unbelieveable. How could someone you refer to as your mentor, never express those racial anti-American views? He now has thrown Rev. Wright under the bus, to achive his aspirations to be President. What a guy, what judgement?
views in your presents for twenty years? People who believe this are gullible. The Republicans will have a field day with all this ammo.

Kenneth- Obama brought this new much needed negative scrutiny upon himself by LYING about a close 20 year relationship with his RACIST SPIRITUAL ADVISOR and MENTOR pastor and "FRIEND" (who he even put in his campaign staff). Hillary had nothing to do with this- obviously.

Jill- I completely agree! Let's end this Men's Club control of the government and business (how many female CEO's are there?)!!!

Hillary all the way 2008!

Please, I never voted for Bush.
Don't give me BS about how he lived through such a tough time. So did my parents and grandparents and they never said hateful stuff like that. And before you start going on and on about how "white" people never suffered let me tell you. My grandfather was a Lakota Sioux, my mother is Mexican and my father is a frontier mutt (English, Irish, dutch and German).
Living through and growing are 2 totally different things. Obama went to that church and listened to that hate. You are judged by the people you hang with.

I am a Black American and I don't understand what Barack and his campaign is thinking. Every-time the issue of race comes up he had better get used to reminding people that he is the byproduct of a white Mom and Black dad. He is not a black man that was adopted by a white family. He was raised by his white parent and grandparents. He is allowing people to paint him as a black man rather than someone who has been blessed with the best of both worlds. If he is neither Black or White, then he is both Black and White. This Ideas of single him out as a black American shows the racial mindset in our society and black people have bought into it. If he is not going to speak up himself then he had better get others to do it for him.
Wise up and speak up Obama, you represent the best of both worlds.

Well I see that the same old garbage is coming from the Obama camp again. Could you tell me why Obama 's camp have alot of the same people who worked for Pres.Clinton in his political camp. Is it just another reason maybe because he still can't do anything on his own with out coping Hillary. Hillary please release your tax returns for this year. Obama tell us why you quit your Muslim faith . tell us how come your new church teaches the same kind of religion. Please no wink, wink on this issue , it is of great importance. If that is how the African American people truly feel then I suggest doing away with affirmative action, welfare , & free medical coverage also do away with section 8 housing. Let your Church pay for all these programs, when it doesn't work you can blame the true racist, your-self's. just a thought. go Hillary go

If I hear McCain do that thing he does with his speaking by hissing the ssssss's I will sssscream. Open your mouth and get the words out
Anyways Vote for Hillary at least she can talk properly and her words come out without a hiss or a lick of the lips like OBAMA, (he licks his lips too much) this means he has no sustance to what he says just a motor mouth saying anything and then the tongue comes out while the brain engages on what to say next.

Democrats can be really dumb sometimes. This is obviously a light-hearted article, just like the one with Hillary in the St. Pattie's day parade. Get over it. I also don't like McCain, but I'm not going to whine about the man finally getting some time on the ticker.

Last time I checked this post was about John McCain and march madness not about Clinton or Obama. I look forward to March Madness every year... some of you people really need to take a chill pill. College sports in general brings in a lot of money to schools, not to mention gives athletes a free education that they could not afford. I just hope McCain doesn't stay to loyal to his Arizona Wildcats...
Some of you Dems need to relax... i'm doing great knowing McCain is my man....

Happy St. Patricks day!!!

I just hope McCain doesn't stay to loyal to his Arizona Wildcats...
Some of you Dems need to relax... i'm doing great knowing McCain is my man....

Happy St. Patricks day!!!

Conservatives will unite this summer (as they do every election year) and propel McCain to a National Championship over the liberals who are somehow beguiled by Obama's promises to turn our nation into some kind of Socialist utopia.

Mainstream America will grow tired of the same old liberal drivel about the economy. Our standard of living is by far the best in the world and liberals still complain like we are living in the Sudan or something.

Most of the world has been paying over $3 a gallon for decades and liberals complain like it's our right to be the only country in the world with cheap gas. All while you drive your SUVs just like everyone else.

If you got into a mortgage that you couldn't afford....how is that the government's fault???

Your Democratic Party....the party who will use the government to bail you out and to blame someone else for your self-induced problems

"HOPE" is not a method....only a nice sound bite

This is important again because??????

Does he not know that this country has more important things on its plate like a recession, a needless war that he, Bush and Hillary started, skyrocketting healthcare costs, skyrocketting energy prices, more people living in poverty today than 8 years ago. I don't want to be judge and jury so I'll put the question out there, is he really this out of touch with the American people?

Win! Win! Win! Win at all cost. No matter how many American lives are lost. 4000,5000 who cares. No matter if it is your son fighting in a dumb war that we started by fooling the American people. As long as you win the American people will forget there son whom died a horrific death for no reason at all. And if they become prisoners of war just forget about them, because they obviously was not smart enough to avoid capture. If they return home after 5 years of being in a lion cage, let's not be focus on there well being and nurturing them back to health, but instead, let's focus on ensuring that no matter what they've been through, the first words from there mouth better be words fit for a hero . This and only this is the proud McCain tradition. Anything less is unexceptable. You cannot make your son a hero if you don't have a war to fight, so Make It Happen!!!

I'd like to win a McCain ball cap.

Interesting distraction to the tears, fears, bloody noses and BS on the Democratic side.

Mabye conservatism will still have a chance.

This is pathetic. It amazes me how Republicans and the media divert attention from skyrocketing gas prices and the Iraq MESS -and give us this bit of nonsense to digest. Who really cares what McCain's sports picks are? He's running for president, not NCAA commissioner. I'm more interested in his extreme immigration views and his views on continuing unnecessary bloodshed in the Middle East.

Changed you to a Republican?? Give me a break. You ARE a typical Republican desperately trying to make this election about "having a beer" with someone again. Please. I will take Hillary or Obama over McCain (the same game) any day.

As far as Obama "sitting around," is that why he gave up cushion jobs that would have been very lucrative for him to become a community organizer for his fellow Americans instead? Yeah, how "unpatriotic." You can try to twist this about his former pastor all you want but at least keep in perspective. Rev. Wright lived through one of the most challenging civil rights movements in our country. Can you blame him if he harbors some ill feelings left over from that time period?

That is what makes Obama's candidacy so compelling in my opinion. It gives us a chance to move beyond that time period and let us heal some of the racial divide created by it. In all fairness, I honestly believe Hillary would support the same intentions.

And where is McCain on this? Oh that's right. He skipped the debate at Morgan State University.

I guess basketball is now more important than the economy, health care, the war and the suffering of millions of people. Just like a politician to distract people from critical issues for something that won't affect the lives of many suffering people. Maybe if so much money was not spent on athletes and sports we could spend more on educating students and teaching then to care about their fellow man instead of how to beat them and demean them.

about the whole Obama church argument is many blacks are coming out and saying this is normal speeches in congregation. Well the majority of this country is shocked for a reason; we thought racism was somewhat over, but apparently it's not even close to being over right now....

I have been going to church off and on my whole life (white male-26 yo), and I don't remember ONCE when any preacher blamed a race, nationality, or religion for any problems. I also don't remember politics being addressed either. Sounds like to me that certain churches in America have lost all their focus on their foundation.

Well, it shows how out of touch McCain is, and there are sure alot more important issues americans are concerned about, and I think sports is not on top of the list at the moment. What an idiot.

I haven't heard anything 'on message' from Hillary, only attacks and weak attempts to discredit Obama (Does anyone really care about this church thing? Or the guy he bought a house from?), whereas Obama has been on point the entire time, as well as trying to point out that Hillary is using all this as a smokescreen because she still has failed to release her tax records, something he's done in spades.

AAAGGHH! The Monster did it again. While McCain was in Iraq the Hillary Monster gave a speech about getting out of Iraq. She knows Iraq is an Obama strong point so she cleverly tried to upstage him with her supposed withdrawal plan. I have seen her plan. It calls for thirty thousand troops to be left in Iraq for security. Those poor sacrificial lambs will spend every day feeling like they are with General Custer at the last stand. Hillary also says she will get rid of the bad Bad Bad private security forces. They are a force multiplier worth about fifty thousand troops. Who does the niave one think will replace them?

lets see... a man who goes to a (preacher?) who spews hateful and disgusting things or a man who I could drink a beer with and talk about the game? Politics is betting haven't you figured that out yet. I think I will vote for the one with integrity, honesty a man who has SPENT his life proving how much he loves his country instead of the man who for the last 20+ years sits around and listens to how horrible and ugly America some racist moron thinks America is.

This is smart.

Really smart.

It draws contrast between McCain's demeanor (calm, thinking about March Madness) and the Democratic candidates (cloying, desperate, frantic, unresolved) and also paints McCain in a fresh coat of "everyman".

As a Democrat and Obama supporter, this sort of subtle, brilliant strategizing scares the bejeezus outta me.

HEY DNC, LETS FINISH THIS THING, LIKE NOW.

Better that the electorate focus on March Madness as oppossed to how the Bush economic policies which McCain supports are creating one of the greatest economic downturns since the great depression.

Let's see Obama's tax returns for the last twenty years. Hillary's is on record! I think we'll find out a whole lot more about Obama's money dealings during his other buddy Rezko's trial. I would expect he will flip-flop on that too.

Next week, a bracket on which one of the Keading Five should be president! Answer, NONE!!! Our economy is the in crapper, just like the GOP did to it in 2002. Need another Dem to straighten it out!! Last thing we need is a man who lead to the failure of savings and loans in the 80's. Just like we did not need a man with 2 failed oil companies in the 80's. Yup, that was Bush!! No wonder our country is in such bad shape!!!
