This election is about one thing and one thing only – unity or division. If we want four more years of 50+1 where we get nothing solved validate what Hate radio is saying. Play into the division – it makes money afterall. If don't want that, if your McCain, Obama or Clinton supporter, talk about the issues.

Overall, he is a great minister. What the Democrats and Independent voters are missing is that this was a Right Wing Republican Strategy to sway you. I am glad it works because at least we know how you really feel about OBAMA. You were never with OBAMA and quickly jumped ship. It is just that simple. Obama can pull this country together. It is my personal belief that America does not want to grow or change. When any relationship whether it is business or personal run into conflict demonstrate a positive sign of growth. I believe OBAMA will help the country worldwide if given the chance to move forward with issues on the economy, education, and the Iraq war. He did not want to focus on race but the Media kept delivering polls in racial turns instead of issues. In 2000 and in 2004, the media did not focus on race but issues. This alone will tell you the agenda was to talk about race, which makes America uncomfortable. Democrats must have some backbone and strength. That is why republicans have always seen Democrats as wimps because they don't stick together through thick and thin or support Democrats. They simply run. The Independents are Independents because they like neither group but like to have an easy out when the tough gets going. Obama is intelligent and forward thinking. Clinton and Micatin are the past. It is time for the country to turn the page and move forward with new ideas and new leaders. If I were eighteen years old I would vote for Obama. If I were 25 I would vote for Obama. If I were 35 or 50 I would vote for OBAMA. So if you want to put on blind lens and vote for the Clintons or McCain. It is American and you can do that. That is how Bush got into office twice. So make your choice and take the safe route. Each of us will have to live with that vote just like those folks who voted for Bush and now look were we are today. Bush can be remembered for: American is now bankrupted socially, economically and financially.

Id also like to add – please tell Campbell Brown that if she keeps up the Obama bashing and questioning she should do the same with Hilary. After all Hilary hasnt come on ANY TV program ANYWHERE! How about having her come out and Play!? If Campbell cant get Hilary to come out – she should knock off the rhetoric toward disecting Obama – its not fair – after all its just skin color. The man is 1/2 white 1/2 black – best of both world as far as Im concerned.

Whats remarkable here is that Obama (white MOther, black father from Kenya) has to heal the wounds of this country – just crazy. The man has more character than the entire bunch in Washington DC will ever have.

Wright is a bitter old man who is the victim of white racism - REAL racism, like with dogs and firehoses and Jim Crow.

Ferraro is a typical bigot Northeast catholic (I know the type, since I'm a NE catholic) who resents blacks.

Ferraro is FAR WORSE in my opinion.

I feel sorry for Wright. I wish Ferraro would just shut up.

She is an acomplished and intelligent white woman, and expressed her bigotry in quiet, soothing, style typical of the restrained tone used in white society.

Quiet, loud, soothing, abrasive, restrained, emotional. Both expressed thier bigotry in the style they see as somehow making their statements into something which is not bigotry. They are both wrong.

We need a president who can see this from both sides, who will not fall into this trap, and can lead all of us out of the mess we are in. I think Barack can do that for us – for all of us.

Read his convocation given on September 28, 2007 at Howard University, and you will see what I mean. You can hear both voices talking, but despite the temptation to do so, there is no slide into bigotry.

I'll give a few: Jim Crow Laws; public and televised beatings of women, children, and men by public officials for sitting in restaurants owned by people somehow offended by their shades of skin; lynchings . . . I guess she thought that MLK's dream and Rosa Park's determination were "moot" by that time. What the hell were they thinking? Freedom had already rung from the Birmingham jail in which MLK sat all the way to the seat that Rosa Parks refused to rise from.

I suggest she pick up a modern textbook. Or perhaps if American history books dedicated just a little more than a column on a page to "African" American history, that information would be more readily accessible. Then again, that's just an excuse for my generation – I'm 23 – I'm sure Ferraro had access to first-hand accounts. . . Oh, never mind. . . I forgot. By the time her mother and Barack's grandmother's generation was born, that had been a thing of the past, such that even the use of racially offensive language was no longer.
