thanks for saying what I thought. If she thinks she will win Puerto Rico, she is really dreaming. I have faith in my Puerto Rican brothers ansd sisters. Thanks for driving it home. I hope Hillary loses exponentially. Si podemos!! Si podemos. I agree Latinos in New Mexico, FLA, and Texas are different. Truth be told Hillary cares no more for Latinos than she does African Americans (AA) or any people of color, and we no longer care for her either. She no longer has the support of AA so she now courts Latinos. Latinos wake up! She is a fraud and is hoodwinking you also. She will do ANYTHING to get back into the White House. Please God, do NOT allow her back. No more Bushes or Clintons.

Thank you Peurto Rico, no more caucuses. Let all the people vote, not just the few who either don't even work or can afford to take off to stand around for hours to caucus. Hillary won Nevada where people could vote at work. A voting booth is how all states should be. I could not phycially stand for hours to vote, thus I would be disenfranchised.

Tell Al and Jesse until they demand a re-vote in Fla. and Michigan they are and continue to be phonies. Back in 2000 and 2004 all you heard was their demands over voters rights. Now that their fellow Black man is involved they say play by the rules. They owe Bush and the republicans an apology. Now the shoe is on the other foot. Double standards is the only race issue that concerns white voters ask them hyonestly. Don't ask with all you Liberal white guilt so afraid that an honest question might get you called a racist. Poverty is the big issue not race.

She is now forcing the american and democrats, to give her another 8 years to toy with. Clinton, is playing you as she played bill clinton to give her the health care against his will.

Dont' buy it.

LatinoNation, everyone knows you are a white hillbilly rube, so shut up. Has anyone noticed that most Hillary supporters can't spell the name of their own candidate, have poor grammar, can't spell, and can't form complete sentences. They also can't watch anything longer than 30 seconds without becoming bored or distracted. I am sensing a pattern here, these are the same people that voted W. into the whitehouse in 2000 and 2004! Don't lay the smack-down if you can't take the smack-down!

It apears the DNC can make no mistake. what a bunch of IDIOTS. It's O.K. for them to make a mistake that would have us holding the Puerto Rico caucas in JUNE OF 2009. Stupidity, Mistake , a year ahead of themselves. Whatever!!! Give Florida and Michigan The same respect and allow a revote. This whole thing has been a total disaster, and the members of the DNC are completely responsible for this all mess . One way or another the DNC should figure out a way to have a redo in Florida and Michigan if they really care about the party and the voters in those states.

For those of you questioning the legality of the change, read this:

"Under Puerto Rico law, the event must be held on the first Sunday in June, but the original plan mistakenly listed the June 7 date, which is the first Sunday in June 2009, not 2008."

Clearly there was a typo, or a negligent person handling the officiating paperwork. You can't hold their own law against them. And by the way, MI & FL moved their primaries up because they wanted to have a say in how the primaries turned out SOONER than the Super Tuesday vote (kind of like a "ME FIRST" attitude). The rule to strip them of their delegates was voted on LAST YEAR! They CHOSE to accept the consequences of moving their primaries.

Now they can deal with it!

Puerto Ricans, I urge you to support Obama, for all his fairness & generosity.

Hillary Clinton will win Puerto Rico by a landslide. The puertoriquenos will not vote for a black man like Obama. A man who does not have experience, who lies about the inflamatory commnets by his Pastor, a man who has not done nearly as much as the Clintons have done for the latino community. You are done in Puerto Rico Obama!!!

Well, there went my slim hope that South Dakota and Montana might count for once. We'll just get out of your hair DNC and contemplate how states that don't try to set themselves above the others get lost in the cracks.
Oh and everyone pittying Mi and Fl, just remember this is all their doing and besides they're getting all the attention they wanted in the first place. Trust me when all the Noms are settled these two states will get more attention before November than any others. Their voices will probably be louder than anyone elses.

Good for Puerto Rico!

There will be no unity as long as the divisive figure of Barack stalks politics 08.

It would be nice to believe the Barack myth. Barack has spun a story that feeds the American hero/messiah complex.

If he could delete his 20 year soaking in the mentor/pastor relationship of Rev. Wright, it might have credibility. However, because Barack chose to embrace the ideology of black liberation his beautiful words of one America in a presidential run lack authenticity and integrity.

If Barack wants to be part of a movement to lift up blacks, the bully pulpit of the presidency is not the place to do it. The presidency is the bully pulpit to lift up all people. Barack should seek a new mentor who can give him discernment/wisdom on a broader scale for a few years. Then his gift of Hawaiian "Talk Story" might be more appropriate for a presidential run. :)

Barack is premature in his presidential run. His racial conflict is conflicting America. It is not primarily race but head and heart that are conflicted. We want to believe the myth but our head says, wait a minute!

Not in 2008 or 2012 Barack!

Hillary the HOPE of 08 or McCain! :)

It really is sad to watch the Democrat candidates sniping at eachother through their surrogates. It reminds me of the old saying "your friends are your worst enemies". What's going on is also reminiscent of the Fall of the Roman Empire where the senators were so busy infighting that they failed to notice that their control of their empire was crumbling all around them. Take warning.

Yes, it is all part of Hillary's plan. One question for Obama supporters. If the race is "over" why does it matter? Could it be that the race is not over? Hmmmmmmmmmm.

If the rules can be changed for Puerto Rico. The same should apply to Florida and Michigan. The Democratic party is totally screwd up. Fortunately moving the Puerto Rico Primary up will have no or little impact on the final outcome of which candidate takes more delegates from that state. Unfortunately for the democratic party's refusal to have a revote in Florida and Michigan will have a direct impact on which democratic candidate will have more delegates and popular vote. The democratic party's decision not to have a new primary in Florida or Michigan will hand the white house back to the republicans. More Iraq, more job losses, more mortgage crisis, more contracts to foreign countries and a definite RECESSION if not A DEPRESSION.

To those of you how think Obama is so smart the fact is if you don't vote in the Primary, you don't get to vote in the general, so Obama will never win in FL or MI because it don't count and the dumb butt keeps rejecting a revote, so the fact is the Rep. will have it in FL and MI, Obama is so Smart,he will lose without a doult, if it comes to it.

Geez I bet the Clintons had something to do with that concidering she does better in primary's. Here you go again changing the rules!! Go figure politics as usual. Why does Puerto Rico have more delegates than 34 states? How stupid is that.

What is wrong with it being changed, I think primaries are better. This coming from the first caucus in the nation. Attending caucus is time consuming and shift workers can not participate. Yes I go to raise my hand, however it does take alot of work (getting the kids feed before we go, having things there t keep them occupied in the 2 or more hours it takes, hoping that it gets done before I have to leave to put the kids to bed, arranging to leave early from work to attend). Primaries are a true democratic process when every vote counts, caucus are for activist and young people. I could love Iowa to have a primary even if we lost our first in the Nation status.

lol @ all you ignorant people saying Clinton did this.

If you had been paying attention at all, Puerto Rica had sent in the request to move from caucus to primay a month or so ago. They realized the caucus system is flawed, and that the caucus system itself disinfranchises hundreds if not thousands of voters. The Texas two step is proof of that. Also, Hillary still won the popular vote overall even counting the caucus, yet Obama won more delegates. Another reason delegate counts are worthless.

Hillary had nothing to do with Puerto Rico turning from caucus to primary. They just realized how undemocratic the caucus's were.

Some of you Obama people get on my last nerve. If he is so good and everyone likes him he will take the Puerto Rico Primary, primary or caucus. The Obama supporters seem to forget, there won't be ANY CAUCUSES in the General. What is wrong with Puerto Rico wanting to change to a primary, it's easier. You go in, vote, and leave, and you don't have to sit around for hours arguing over who you think is best and all that crap. Take note Obama fans, their won't be any caucuses in the general election to save him.

PR can change to primaries and change their primaries' date.
WHY CAN'T FLORIDA AND MICHIGAN CHANGE THEIR PRIMARIES' DATE?
WHY DO THEY NEED TO HAVE THE APPROVAL OF BOTH CANDIDATES?
I thought the election should be ALL ABOUT PEOPLE!!!!
LET THE PEOPLE OF FLORIDA AND MICHIGAN HAVE A SAY.
HEAR THEIR VOICES !!!!
BARACK OBAMA HAS BEEN IGNORING THEIR VOICES, AND NO ONE DO A THING.
WHY?
WHY?
IS THIS STILL THE "DEMOCRAT" PARTY?

Beware the wolf in sheep's clothing. He'll find some way to disown you in the end.

Hillary is tried and true. She has never wavered in her quest to stand up for the people and to work for the disenfranchised and to make us a better people. A better people is a people without hatred and division. A better people is a people who work for justice for all.

Latinos unite behind the true champion of the people- Hillary.

She will leave no one behind. She will represent us ALL.

Obama, well, clearly he has his agenda.

Let's right this wrong and bring Hillary back. The democrats in Florida and Michigan had their vote stolen from them. You can show your solidarity with those voters and restore truth and justice.

Muchas Gracias.

PUERTO RICO FOR HILLARY!!

Obama was there a while back for a fundraiser and he did not talk to the people there or the media. So he was just interested in the money and nothing else. PR said to obama stay out do not come here again.
Funny he will go back I'm sure they will give him the cold shoulder.
The PR governor endorsed obama but he is under investigation. Another boneheaded mistake obama? He keeps attracting these corrupt people everywhere he goes.

Now just count the millions of votes in Michigan and Florida and give those Americans as much of a voice as Puerto Rico.

At least it will be a primary. The Caucus system really catered to the thug tactics of the Obama fringe. Bully everyone into submission and if that doesn't work, call them all racists.

Hillary's demographic is less suited to the caucus system. We work and have obligations, some of us are elderly and are not as active and mobile.

If SUPERDELEGATES do not vote based on whats GOOD FOR THE PARTY, they are ABNEGATING THEIR RESPONSIBILITY.

If the nominating process WAS ONLY BASED ON POPULAR VOTES/DELEGATES than it does not MAKE ANY COMMON SENSE to have a set number, 2024, to clinch the nomination.

Personally I belive OBAMA is a lost cause, HILLARY has some chances but will be marred if African-american revolt. So both should step down and DNC should nominate a more acceptable candidate to get back the White House.

BLACK REPUBLICAN, You are right. I'm suprised that many Bloggers here didn't know about that. The PR CABINET is full of the CLINTON'S CRONIES and they just sided them and changed from Caucus to Primary.

What a sad day for 'our Democratic principles'. It's not that they hid there feelings about OBAMA DOMINANCE in the Caucuses. No, not at all. They said it openly and nobody challenged them because they could have changed that at the begining of this primary season. WHY NOW?

Wake up Americans! We have a long way to go in our DEMOCRACY.

Chariman Howard Dean needs to step down and take that idiot Speaker Pelosi with him. Then there needs to be a revote in Fl and Mi. Anything less than all citizens votes counting isn't democracy. The DNC's ruling is arbitrary : they chose it. It was a mistake, and it needs to be fixed.

I live in nova scotia, canada. I have been paying attention to the political race in the US. This is my believe that the US is not ready for a woman president even I would vote for her. I believe that most people have some bias in some area of our lives. Its been my experience that the people that we are most bias about is people that are like our selves. I believe the Obama wouldn't be where he in the election if he wasn't
africain Americans who is voting 85 - 95 percent for him do the math
Also would you put someone with his senator lack of as your CEO of your company with more experience I would give him real consideration. minister are supposed to be uplifting it is amazing that we all see what is wrong with everone but our pick stick to the issues and take a stand instead of I am president

Sounds like Billary has been busy again getting the Puerto Rico government to change the rules, changing from a caucus to a primary in order for her to steal some more delegates. I wonder how much they had to pay to get it done?

Dont be surprised if Hillary request moving the primary up to May 5th. I'm sure she has a Cinco de Mayo scarf in her closet.
