(CNN) – After staying out of the Barack Obama controversy over his former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Hillary Clinton has now weighed in big time. She was asked about the flap when she met with the editorial board of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review today. “He would not have been my pastor,” she replied. “You know, you don’t choose your family, but you choose what church you want to attend.”
A few moments ago, at a news conference, she essentially said the same thing before the microphones and cameras. And as she did earlier in the day, she noted that she had spoken out last year against Don Imus for his racially-charged comments about the Rutgers University women’s basketball team. “I gave a speech at Rutgers University saying that hate speech was unacceptable in any setting, and I believe that.”
Suddenly, the Rev. Wright uproar has returned to the forefront. The other flap of the day – her embarrassing and erroneous description of her 1996 visit to Bosnia – has been pushed a bit aside. She acknowledges that she made a mistake in describing the scene of her arrival at the Tuzla airbase.
All of this must be seen within the context of this incredibly close race for the Democratic presidential nomination. With four weeks to go to the Pennsylvania primary and the 10 other contests that will follow, every utterance by the two candidates is critical. The scrutiny all around will be intense because the stakes are enormous.

Wolf could have skipped the spin regarding his take on H Clinton's motivation in answering the question on Wright. She is entitled to answer the question. Obama made his own mess on this one, she didn't.
Obama has always said good things about his grandmother, for I have listened to his story with his grandparents and his mum, that give him hope to challenge the difficulties of this life.
The wright controversy has never gone away, that's all people are

The Wright controversy is a question that is important to some Americans.
Obama’s message was about coming together but in reality He has been listening to messages that separate Americans with hate and anger. This is real problem because young people are listening to this message as well and continues the future for all Americans to have anger and hate.
Obama’s ability to lead appears weak in bringing Americans together. He has an opportunity to support American voters in trying to count the votes in Michigan and Florida but he remains distance from the rights of American citizens for the votes to count. He does not appear to be a strong leader.

The Rev. Wright thing has to with AMERICAN PRIDE - or lack of American pride, rather. –> Those of you comparing the Rev. Wright situation with Clinton's choice to stay with Bill after what he did to her, remember this: Bill didn't make publicly anti-American remarks.
No one said that Obama should leave a church that speaks about racial biases, you're right, that's personal - it's the ANTI-AMERICAN speeches that are the problem. No one wants a President who listens to that and stands for it!

Most of us have now read the Rev. Wrights sermons in their entirety and see how they were cherry picked. Now when Hillary Clinton has been caught lying, yet again, and wants to change the subject and laugh it off. She does have a long list of exaggerations, untruths. And we are still waiting on those Clinton joint tax returns. I think she just can't be trusted.
If Mrs. Clinton can tell a story of "the snipers' shot" that never happened, if she can deny ever supporting NAFTA – which document now shows she did – how can we believe her that she would have abandoned her pastor had he/she made similar remarks about America. Why did she not even reprimand her Bill when he made those racial remarks – comparing Obama's victory in South Carolina to Jesse Jackson's? Political cheapness!!l

The issue is already in the past, it worked for about a week, and now Obama is on top of the polls again, however, changing the subject from Bosnia flop to Obamas pastor will not work, its just a sign of desparation.
Wolf, what goes to the forefront is not decided by Obama or Clinton. It is decided by the media, you know that. If people ask her the question, she has to answer it. It's up to the media if it should be reported as a big deal.
And they still haven't asked her about the whole promoting NAFTA while privately saying she was against it issue.

I don't think this nonsense on Wright has pushed aside the real story of why Hillary Clinton lied about Bosnia and as a responsible journalist, you should be able to point out the differences between lying and why CLinton was doing it.
