The Obama girl is out with a new Web video.
The Obama girl is out with a new Web video.

(CNN) — She's back.

Amber Lee Ettinger, the star of the last year's wildly popular online video "Obama girl," is out with a new video this week that decries Hillary Clinton's insistence on remaining in the presidential race.

The new video — titled "Hillary, stop the attacks!" — opens with a takeoff on Clinton's now-famous "3 a.m." ad, and quickly transitions to Ettinger addressing the New York Democrat head on.

"I know Obama's gonna win it/but you're sorta kind of stayin' in it. I think sometimes in this campaign/You've got a crush on John McCain," she sings.

"Can't you see its hopeless? It's become an Obama-nation. Is their any chance you'll back off? So he'll get that nomination," she also says.

In the 3 minute video, Ettinger also makes clear CNN.com is her political Web site of choice:

"I watch CSPAN and they're always showing one of your rallies/Checking the CNN Ticker, can't keep my eyes off the tallies."

Created by the Web site barelypolitical.com, the first "Obama Girl" video debuted last June and quickly became an Internet sensation. To date, it has been viewed well over 7 million times, according to You Tube. The video spawned several spoofs, including "Hot 4 Hill" and the "Brownback girl."

She should be the one to stop, she can't sing, she has to have someone else sing while she just moves her lips. Sad, sad, sad, isn't her 15 minutes up. She needs to get some talent first then talk.

Also there is media's part. Media shall not take these as news. If kids want to do it, let them do it. But media shall not promote these things as news.

Roger   March 25th, 2008 2:11 pm ET

Sen. Obama, you are sure a CHANGE guy. You have already transformed normal politics to the trash talking. You sit quitely in the pew while your paster trashed America & now you have a Obama girl reducing serious politics to cheap entertainment. Go Obama, just go away.

A vote for Senator Clinton is a vote to separate the Democrats and to allow Senator McCain to rise in the Poll. Senator Clinton has done enough ham to the Democratic Party with all her kitchen sink tactics and her misleading lies about her experiences.

Americans have to come together to bring this nation out of its woes, whether it may be the economic issue, the Iraq war, education costs, the rising oil prices, health plans to cover all Americans, the booming illegal drug activities in Afghanistan, etc. Where was Senator Cinton's (and where was Senator McCain's leadership in the Senate?) SUCCESSFUL leadership when she was in the Senate to stop all these problems from happening. She showed little real successful leadership in her years in the Senate then, so it's obvious that her leadership will also fail as America's President.

Obama Girl, go… go… go.. continue to represent the majority of American voters' voices.

As JFK had said, "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." We desperately need a Presidential Leader who can inspire the American voters to come together and do what's best for this nation, not divide them for their selfish gains and interests. Senator Clinton has a talent to divide voters, not unite them. She lures voters through her misleading claims. Expect her to provide empty promises… just as empty as her claims about her foreign policy experiences.

Don from Indiana   March 25th, 2008 2:09 pm ET

Mark   March 25th, 2008 2:07 pm ET

pathetic. CNN isn't it sad you aren't even reporting news?

If Obama gets democratic nomination, he'll give our country away. As a life-long democrat, I'll vote McCain. Simple as that.

This country can do better. Obama would be like a 1st grader teaching college courses.

While I don't get why this is political news the video was extremely cute and an accurate view on the division of the democratic party. Clinton backing out now would be best to unite the party and help her in future runnings but right now Hillary is just leaving a bad taste in my mouth and thats without the remembering of Bill Clintons bad taste… EWWWWWW

Wow….this is considered news? For a second I thought I was reading ET magazine. It wouldn't hurt for someone at CNN to check their usage of "there, their, and they're".

chris   March 25th, 2008 2:04 pm ET

This idiot did not even vote in the primary, but she did go out drinking on the same night. What a moron. I like what she is saying, but the truth is Hillary will not stop until she tears the party apart that the clintons have been running for nearly two decades. You see if she stays in it then she can blame the party not herself for blowing what was once a lead that was near impossible to overcome. Seems There should have been a 50 state campaign instead of a "this will be over on super tuesday" campaign. Ready on day one…..ha you were not even ready for your primary.

Shane, NY   March 25th, 2008 2:03 pm ET

Stop attacking CNN. If you don't like what they post just don't come on the site. Some of you people really need a life. I also I can't stand it when people say if my candidate doesn't get nominated I won't vote for the other one. You need to get over yourself. How childish can you be. Also Mr. Lou Dobbs said 99.9 percent of the people in this country aren't racist. What a joke that statement is. I think Lou Dobbs needs a reality check. He should be a minority and live in the hood and he will see if racism doesn't exist. I know we have gone a far way with racism. But 99.9 percent is crazy. I get pulled over sometimes because i'm driving a nice car in Queens, NY. One cop had to the nerve to ask me "how can i afford this car". I wanted to tell him becuase my father came to this country with 17 dollars in his pocket and work hard to provide me with a great education. That's what people do when they come to this country as immigrants. Look at the Iran-Contra affair when the C.I.A introduced drugs into the south central L.A. Now there is a fact showing socio-economic racism. If you think that doesn't exist you need a reality check.

Anton   March 25th, 2008 1:01 pm ET

It's be mudslinging if the final choice comes between McCain and Obama…and unfortunately Obama's camp & supporters won't know what hit them…and the only thing that they can yell is racism…

Deborah   March 25th, 2008 12:57 pm ET

Young lady
You need to get a life. If all you have to do is this….then "SHAME ON YOU!!!!"

Joanna   March 25th, 2008 12:56 pm ET

I am so tired of CNN's extremely biased coverage of this election. I can accept a left of center editorial policy to a point. But I feel like I am watching the Obama 08 channel. CNN commentators do a better jo of spinning events than Obama's people. And you skewer Hillary Clinton at every turn. Who's running your newsroom over there?

GUMA   March 25th, 2008 12:55 pm ET

She is using the Obama's name to her won advantage.

Mack   March 25th, 2008 12:55 pm ET

The CNN Ticker has just shown how blatently biased it is — way to drop your own name in this piece. Journalism is officially dead, I guess if the "obama girl" scratches your back you must do the same by legitimizing her worthless videos. You have officially become US Weekly.

Concerned Voter   March 25th, 2008 12:54 pm ET

I would ask the same question to Obama….. You mislead America….
Get out of the race and support Hillary……

Paul   March 25th, 2008 12:53 pm ET

Whining and Crying is all we hear from the Clinton supporters. Obama girl has much more intelligence than these people if that says anything. When anyone makes a solid point that is negative towards Hillary they can only try to divert the attention by pointing fingers at something else. Now that's honesty!

American Patriot   March 25th, 2008 12:52 pm ET

All you Obama supporters, go to utube and watch Rev. Wrights sermons. Would you go to a church like that or even worse have your kids with you? How can you vote for someone for President of the United States that has that type of judgement.

How is this news? How is the relevant to the presidential race?
I mean come on is this CNN?

Sarah, Los Angeles, CA   March 25th, 2008 12:52 pm ET

If Obama Girl was really as concerned about the outcome of the presidential election as she claims to be, she would have actually VOTED in the primary election. It's pretty clear that the only thing she cares about is shamless self-promotion. CNN, you ought to be ashamed of yourself for covering this non-story and contributing to the media hype over something that is completely irrelevant to the real issues facing Americans. Can we get back to real news, please?

Tracy   March 25th, 2008 12:51 pm ET

I am also wondering why there aren't posts allowed for the article mentioning Hillary's outright lies about her experience. This Obama girl article isn't news, CNN. This is trash media. I know you can dig deep down and do better.

Now, let's open comments on Hillary's lies.

Another comment that won't be posted……

Xavier of Saint Louis, MO   March 25th, 2008 12:51 pm ET

To some degree, Obama girl does make sense, because as long as Hillary stays in this race, in which everyone knows she can't win, the more it will cause division in the Democratic Party. The money that the Hillary's campaign is raising could go towards to Democratic Party as a whole. But she won’t quit. She will destroy the entire Democratic Party before she quit. She’s a liar who has no dignity or consideration for the Democratic Party.

Lauren   March 25th, 2008 12:51 pm ET

Hillary supporters should google HILLARY PROJECT and research this candidate before you make the huge mistake of voting for her.

CNN – You disgust me. With this and "Ballot Bowl 2008″ you are making a mockery of true news and the credibility of your team. By trying to ratchet up your ratings, you're turning into the center-to-left version of Fox News. Disgusting. If you cared about your readers and what's left of your reputation, you'll delete this meaningless post.

Knowing it is your right to express your opinion, it is a serious waste of time to even talk about Obama's girl especially when she has no significant impact to the political race. Did she exercise her right to vote? Did Obama's camp educated her about the politcal process and how many state needed to have primary before the convention? People please don't waste your time on this girl.

Jack Mpls   March 25th, 2008 12:45 pm ET

Obama girls needs to know that the advertising firm used her as stock footage for anyone to buy. Because she happened to be in a Hillary ad just comes with the territory. She can plead all she wants but she sounds whiney to me. The race is still wide open and contrary to some beliefs any one can still win. Obama Girl is just milking her 15 mins of fame. I guess if I were her I'd do the same but honestly that is all it is the use thru another to be noticed.

Howard   March 25th, 2008 12:44 pm ET

Why does CNN even provide any media exposure for the Obama girl? She is obviously a self-serving opportunist, who is using the election as a means for getting attention for herself. She didn't even vote. I say we should all just ignore her.

Lostfigs   March 25th, 2008 12:44 pm ET

Hey Obama Girl, remember Spring 2003???

Miss M   March 25th, 2008 12:44 pm ET

This video is downright offensive and CNN should be ashamed of itself for helping to promote it. Perhaps this girl should take a refresher civics course. That this race for the nomination is so close that it's a great example of the democratic process at work. Having Hillary drop out now, before all the votes are in, would be yet another step toward facism.

She is not trustworthy.

This is not a lying contest so Hillary supporters, your candidate has no chance of winning.

We will see who's viable when the nominee is selected. She needs a better spin than that.

I personally enjoy seeing Hillary and Bush on the tv. It's practically impossible to tell who's the better liar. I guess it's her Republican upbringing. and you wonder why she likes McCain

I never saw the first one and have no intention of watching this one. Please listen to your intelligent readers and reconsider tagging something like this as "news".

Is this the mentality of people who vote for Obama?? Oh please, it scares me that people like this are allowed to vote. What a ditz!

Amanda   March 25th, 2008 12:35 pm ET

I'm an Obama supporter, but I can't help but wonder how this is news.

oneman   March 25th, 2008 12:34 pm ET

and this is relevant how?

Chris, Orlando   March 25th, 2008 12:34 pm ET

CNN, is this news? Really? Shame on you.

Miller   March 25th, 2008 12:34 pm ET

Misspoke? That's a nice way to say it. Usually, when you say you were under fire (and you weren't) that you had to cover your head and run for safety (and you really didn't) it's called lying.

Tiffany   March 25th, 2008 12:34 pm ET

So THIS is how we pick our political leaders these days?

Lord have mercy!

No wonder we ended up with George W. Bush. No wonder the Democratic Party is so screwed up.

Connie Alabama   March 25th, 2008 12:34 pm ET

CNN needs to come clean an admit that it TOTALLY supports Obama!
This girl needs to understand that if you don't vote I don't care what you think! GO Clinton 08

Marjon   March 25th, 2008 12:31 pm ET

O no, why is she half naked? Not that I do not agree with her but girl put on some clothes!

Obama '08!!

loveamerica   March 25th, 2008 12:31 pm ET

Michelle Obama, watch your man, so you won't regret what you said about others!

Rob   March 25th, 2008 12:30 pm ET

Someone should look into this girl's background. Wonder what club she dances in? Or maybe she has other videos to see?

Reality check #1   March 25th, 2008 12:30 pm ET

Sung from Obama Girl who admitted she did not vote. Really carries alot of weight, huh?

owl   March 25th, 2008 12:30 pm ET

Go girl …may you can stop her once and for all…
Obama rules …

mike   March 25th, 2008 12:29 pm ET

She is another non-intelliegent Obama supporter

carmela   March 25th, 2008 12:29 pm ET

You go Obama girl… Carville should do video for his candidate … Hil-LAIR-y Boy. hahaha hahaha

Weiss   March 25th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

hmm this nonsense article has open comments and the hillary article was closed with only 48. cnn has become such a joke

Steph   March 25th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

Go Obama!!

We'll hopefully hear the end of both you and the Clintons!!

Allan, United Kingdom   March 25th, 2008 12:27 pm ET

I think Obama needs all the support he can get even if its from 'blondes'. I hope he clinches that nomination. Honestly, Clinton has no chance against McCain. Democrats, Obama's your only chance!!

Daniel   March 25th, 2008 12:27 pm ET

I support Obama. This is not news. This is a shameless plug for CNN to "quote" the Obama girl as favoring CNN, even when that's not what she said/sang.

candice   March 25th, 2008 12:27 pm ET

This is the same girl who didnt even take the time to vote for her beloved OBAMA!!

Kent Fitzsimmons,Illinois   March 25th, 2008 12:27 pm ET

So………I guess Hillary will say she has experience in Iraq now. Maybe she did a few tours of duty there right?

Cheryl Summerville   March 25th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

She doen't even vote and CNN gives her coverage as if it matters.

Linnie   March 25th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

Are we that hard up for news that we let a bimbo like this take up this much space. We have so many problems in our country please stop wasting our time.

Darth Vadik, CA   March 25th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

bigben,

what you said is the dumbest thing I have ever heard, and everyone in this blog is a little dumber for having read it.

Tom   March 25th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Be gone! Back, back to youtube! You have no power here! Go now!

carolflowery   March 25th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

in the music biz, this is called "make hay while the sun shines" or being an opportunist on the coattail of controversial, ummmm, madonna comes to mind..anyways, i guess she couldnt make it on American Idol

Kate   March 25th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Isn't this the same Obama Girl that didn't even VOTE in the primary? Great scoop, CNN – can we get an update on Britney while you're at it?

Get it together   March 25th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

She obviously does not know anything about politics. When you run for office you stay in the race until it's over. If anyone has blown his or her opportunity it is Barack Obama.

Now CNN, give us some real political news and stop campaigning for Obama.

Zia   March 25th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

Clinton says she 'misspoke' about sniper fire.

More like lied about it. How can anyone ever forget that he/she was fired upon? Like Husband like wife…. only worse.

Bob the builder   March 25th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

Your right honey. If he's the nominee alot of people will run to McCain. Such a shame we could really do some good for our country and it's people with Hillary.

anony   March 25th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

This article made it out without the editor looking at it. Grammatical errors galore.

Turner   March 25th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

A very well made video by a highly talented Obama Girl.
Too funny!…gotta love it.

Go Obama!

mercy of los angeles   March 25th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

Well, Obama Dude, instead of asking Hillary to stop, why don't you stop? You suck, you can't even sing! Maybe, you should attend Reverend Wright's (or Wrong) church. You can dance, right?

J Soul   March 25th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

I know this has been said before, many times, but…

Is this really Political News? Throwing in "Obama" and "Clinton" doesn't automatically make it a Political post. File this under "Entertainment" and get back to writing "Political" posts.

Andrew   March 25th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

I also can't believe that this is what CNN considers news. But…didn't we all click on the link? It's not CNN that's ridiculous, it's us…

Mike   March 25th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

This is the Obama girl alright. This message was meant for Michellen, not Hillary.

Jenn Ohara   March 25th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

Obama girl has it totally backwards.

Hillary's gonna win it
Obama's the one sorta just stayin in it

Sorry to break that kid's heart. Hillary will be the Democratic nominee, but no matter who runs up against him, McCain will win this election. Obama made the big mistake of staying in a church that hates most of America and what it stands for, and Hillary isn't honest enough to deal with the economy correctly. Tax and spend is her gig.

Stan   March 25th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

I don't care whether Hilary or Obama gets it; either way it's a win. Anyway, Obama Girl is hot so keep the videos coming.

Darth Vadik, CA   March 25th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

I just saw the video and its actually pretty cool.

But CNN why is this a story?
I guess we are tired of hearing 4000 dead american service men and women.
What a shame.

Anonymous   March 25th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

how low can they go????

Huh???   March 25th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

Re: charlotte
Leave Michelle Obama alone! That is such a cruel comment!!!!!!!!!!! SHAME ON YOU

Marj,Paso Robles, Cal   March 25th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

Obama-nation? Abomination is more accurate.

McCain 2008

Kent Fitzsimmons,Illinois   March 25th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

Look how Hillary is trying to warm up to Republican primary voters. McCain is already the Republican nominee. So……………in the following primaries she is trying to get republican voters to vote for her and sway the DEMOCRATIC primary to her. Republicans DO NOT want to face Obama in November.

L, TN   March 25th, 2008 12:21 pm ET

What? She didn't go on the family vacation?

BobW Rochester, NY   March 25th, 2008 12:21 pm ET

"Chalk up another young thing who just follows wherever anybody leads. "

There's a lot young people leading right now in the war in Iraq that Hillary voted for. This might surprise you, but young people do know what's going on in the world.

Carlito   March 25th, 2008 12:21 pm ET

Hillary is not electable, just because you were married to the president that does't give you the experience. She lies, lies, lies and lies now i know why she always having secret meetings and even with all she said she did, all the countries shes visited i didnt hear one clear fact that said said she made anything happen. Hillary go back to bill and stand behind him like you always did.

Terrance   March 25th, 2008 12:21 pm ET

You Hillary supporters are all the same. There is absolutely nothing good or redeeming about your candidate so you attack Obama for the things that other people say and do. You look pitiful. You are mad at Pastor Wright, now its Obama girl. It's never ANYTHING that Obama has said or done himself.

He will be a great President and you know it. Get over your disappointment that Hillary is losing and support Barack Obama for President.

Joanna is Laughing at the Delusional   March 25th, 2008 12:21 pm ET

honestly reading some of the sore loser Hillary supporters shrieks it concerns me that some of you people are even allowed to vote. The ignorance on this blog is astounding.
Why aren't you guys talking about Hillary's lies (Bosnia, Nafta, Ireland, Peter Paul etc etc ETC)
Obama we know you are ready to lead from day one. It looks like Hillary is ready to LIE from day one.

Jacob Miller   March 25th, 2008 12:20 pm ET

It was kind of cute before but now that she's blatantly taken sides, this 'Obama' girl needs to shut her trap. I saw her interview on Hardball once and she was an idiot. I don't think the American people are interested in taking their cues from some bimbo.

Trey   March 25th, 2008 12:20 pm ET

It is good to see CNN is keeping us posted with the important news of the world and maintaining journalistic integrity.

Dan P.   March 25th, 2008 12:20 pm ET

When is anyone who calls themselves a Democrat and supports Obama going to wake up and smell the coffee. He is 'Republican lite', it wouldn't surprise me if he somehow did get elected that he didn't switch parties and go over to the Reps. As for 'Obama girl' – just another in a LONG series of air headed bimbos looking for their 15 minutes of fame.

WE LOVE YOU IN PA. HILLARY !!!!

Letha, Sioux Falls, SD   March 25th, 2008 12:20 pm ET

And CNN is pimping out the Obama girl for what reason? Her career is trashy and Obama's campaign is getting there. Does this twinkly have any any thing to offer besides her stupidity?

Hilary-Hope   March 25th, 2008 12:20 pm ET

I am more interested in Hillary`s 4-points economic fix plan.

Lindsay   March 25th, 2008 12:19 pm ET

Yeah… Hillary is the 'real thing'. I know I make up stories about sniper attacks all the time…

Jen Michelle   March 25th, 2008 12:19 pm ET

Since Obama is a “freshman” Senator, I’ve been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. It bothers me that he states “he didn’t know” Wright preached anti-American sermons. He was unaware of the hatred. He also continues to change amounts used in financial transactions with Rezko. His advisors admit that his Iraq and NAFTA policies differ with what Obama says in his speeches. Security breaches were done by employees of his advisor/contributer. I feel he is either looking America in the eye and lying about these events – which contradicts his message about “changing the way things are done in Washington” or he really is oblivious to his own surroundings. If he truly didn’t know what goes on at his own congregation after 20 years of being advised by Wright and talking to people “in the streets of Chicago” or what was happening with Rezko- his next door neighbor, how can we believe he’ll be aware of what’s going on in the world. His speeches are wonderful, but how can we trust him to have good judgment on American issues and foreign policy when he doesn’t see what’s in his own front yard?

Gregory   March 25th, 2008 12:19 pm ET

This is a waste of time and space. Go home, girlie. You're old news. If you want to make a fool out of yourself, go join Hillary. She's got a three ring circus behind her.

fred   March 25th, 2008 12:19 pm ET

CNN is making this a beauty contest instead of a very important election. And their beauty queen is Obama!! He is ugly as sin and more deadly!!

Get out NOW Obama!!!

Brian   March 25th, 2008 12:19 pm ET

Who cares. I'll tell Obama to drop out! Can I make the political ticker??

What a joke of a story.

bill from pa   March 25th, 2008 12:17 pm ET

She's irrelevant but she's hot.

Jon   March 25th, 2008 12:17 pm ET

Ridiculous…..seeing as how she didn't even vote, she should probably shut up and stop turning an already circus-like campaign into more of a sideshow.

STEVEN   March 25th, 2008 12:16 pm ET

Is this American Idol or a Presidential race??

Angela   March 25th, 2008 12:15 pm ET

HRC, please quit!!!

dave   March 25th, 2008 12:15 pm ET

So now we should listen to some bad singer as to who is the better candidate?

C'mon CNN, quit promoting this stuff. Let it stay on youtube where it belongs.

Go Hillary!!! Cosmic Comedy Queen!   March 25th, 2008 12:15 pm ET

Oh please, politics has sunk to a new low in this race which is not about race, is it now?

scott   March 25th, 2008 12:14 pm ET

this is the true mentallity of the educated. Videos..and sound clips cant wait tell BHO gets the vote and if he wins all the kiddies get to help the war by joining the service for the school money he has promised. they willl all get to sing there way in the services.

Eye Opener - Las Vegas   March 25th, 2008 12:14 pm ET

And since when is this news worthy of CNN?
She did not even vote during the primaries.

Why doesn't CNN just endorse Obama already?

Nonna   March 25th, 2008 12:14 pm ET

First thing that bimbo should do is to go back to school and learn proper English.
"gonna, sorta, stayin" looks really bad on CNN.

Adam - TX   March 25th, 2008 12:14 pm ET

This was a waste of resources CNN. Who cares what this mindless, uneducated voter has to say.

Kent Fitzsimmons,Illinois   March 25th, 2008 12:13 pm ET

America seemed to care about the 3 a.m. ad . So, it is newsworthy to see what this girl has to say. She is very representative of the new generation……..and the new movement in general. Republicans and Democrats alike will vote for Obama in November.

Randy   March 25th, 2008 12:13 pm ET

It is really sad that a girl who does not have any political sense making head lines.

dlr   March 25th, 2008 12:13 pm ET

Sen. Clinton will either lose now or later. Best option is to do it for the Party and get out now. Your misrepresentation will haunt you forever!!!

Julie   March 25th, 2008 12:12 pm ET

This girl didn't even vote for him! She really cares…. about being paid to make Obama videos.

Jereme   March 25th, 2008 12:12 pm ET

When interviewed, "Obama Girl" was apathetic to politics, yet we are using her music videos for political analysis?

Philly   March 25th, 2008 12:12 pm ET

She is not even old enough to vote.

Go away little girl.

Hillary has won all the big states needed to beat McCain.

Hillary already has more ELECTORAL votes than Obama…and that is not even counting upcoming Pennsylvania where Hillary will crush Obama.

Hillary will be the next President….period.

matt   March 25th, 2008 12:12 pm ET

this is just stupid. and really makes her look dumb! where is the real news?

VOTER FOR TRUTH, DIGNITY-OBAMA/EDWARDS 2008   March 25th, 2008 12:11 pm ET

A new word for the Webster Dictionary, "MISSPOKE" means "I lied."!!!!!!
Hillary can you utter a sentence that is not a les???????????????? Hillary brings out the worst in people. That is not a good trait for the President of the USA. We are exhausted and tired of liars.

David   March 25th, 2008 12:11 pm ET

I'm sorry, is this really news? Do better.

Vince   March 25th, 2008 12:10 pm ET

Obviously this is just a fun humorous story like the video.

A little comic relief is needed in this campaign.

So, relax people, enjoy the moment, enjoy the chuckle and stop taking every little thing so seriously.

Donny,CantonOH   March 25th, 2008 12:10 pm ET

Obama girl was too lazy to even vote… She has no room to tell the leading candidate what to do??? Obama is a fraud and a joke! The liberals in the Dem party are crushing their chance of a Dem victory. McCain will crush Obama and his racist pastor!

Hillary 08/McCain 08

Anna Sacramento, Ca   March 25th, 2008 12:10 pm ET

Totally not news… who cares about this person?

Anonymous   March 25th, 2008 12:10 pm ET

GF   March 25th, 2008 12:10 pm ET

And this is news. Shame on you, CNN.

Illinois 2   March 25th, 2008 12:09 pm ET

I for one find Sen. Obama's views on several comments being one sided and as a matter of fact this "Obama Girl" add just goes to show how his campaign is afraid that he could actually lose. He sure will not get my vote..

Tennessee   March 25th, 2008 12:09 pm ET

Obama nation? Last time I checked California, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Florida, Michigan and the other large states that Obama did NOT win are part of Ameirca.

Mike D   March 25th, 2008 12:09 pm ET

how does this make CNN political ticker while the "sniper fire" video doesn't?

carole   March 25th, 2008 12:08 pm ET

The Obama Girl had better go back to school and learn the difference between their and there!

Dan-O   March 25th, 2008 12:08 pm ET

Kevin, Louisville, Ky   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

Hey ….news is information, this is political related! If you hate it ..do not read it or browse FOX or something….

love it go Gal!!

Steven in Seattle   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

Obama's above politics as normal. Yeah Right! His surrogate's are playing the same political game that been around for centuries. He is no different. He peddles hope to the naive and the country just may pay for the hype. Does Obama girl really matter? It seems so. I may have to change my name to "Obamamademevoterepublican"

Aaron   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

Just wanted to take a moment to thank CNN for attempting to choose the democratic presidential candidate – thanks for only reporting favorable news about Obama. This is certainly not news. You should be ashamed.

What Now   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

Hillary can stay in the race as long as she wants. She ran from that plane in Bosnia "under sniper fire" for the right to stay in this race – and there wasn't any tea being served on the tarmac either. She is ready on day one – ready for tea on the tarmac that is.

Wayne   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

Obama has won twice as many states, leads by roughly 1 million votes and has an insurmountable lead in pledged delegates. Why does the media still say this race is close. Would the race be considered close if Hillary had won twice as many states and had a 1 million vote lead?

THIS RACE IS OVER. Why dont you report on that CNN???

Juliet   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

OBAMA 08. The Clintons has done enough damage to this country.

Joy   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

Haha, funny! But it's Obama who attacks Hillary now. Hillary is not attacking anybody.

The video should be called: Obama, stop attacking!

violet   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

clinton/mccain = clinton for me

obama/mccain = mccain for me

racist obama will not get my vote.

Peg Robson   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

Just anything for CNN to glorify Obama and dig at Hillary. Fair and Balanced seems to have traded channels.

frank   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

For anyone asking why this is news…

The reason CNN highlighted this web-video as opposed to the countless others out there is because "in the 3 minute video, Ettinger also makes clear CNN.com is her political Web site of choice".

Good one, CNN. This sort of thing should be on E, not CNN.

tim   March 25th, 2008 12:07 pm ET

Davidson will upset North Carolina in the final 4

E.C.Rossi   March 25th, 2008 12:06 pm ET

If Obamanites were confident they wouldn't be so insistent
that Clinton quit the race. Maybe they're worried that Obama
has hit his peak. Could be. Time will tell.

James   March 25th, 2008 12:06 pm ET

I love CNN's incorrect usage of the term "there", using the possessive "their" instead. It must not take much to become an editor/journal for CNN anymore, you just need a Myspace-esque understanding of the English language.

Anne   March 25th, 2008 12:06 pm ET

CNN: Do you really have to give this idiot more exposure?

There's bad stuff happening all over the place and you have to
give her a plug?

How about reporting on the annual SEAL KILL IN CANADA?
(that's due to start very shortly) I know that reporting on something like
that wouldn't be as "fun" for your male egos, but it's WAY more important.

richard   March 25th, 2008 12:06 pm ET

Obama girl didn't even exercise her right to vote for Obama on Super Tuesday because according to Obama girl, "I didn't get a chance to vote because I'm not registered to vote in New York." So why didn't she vote in New Jersey, where she is registered? She said, "I was in Arizona for the Super Bowl — every time I get in the airplane I get sick."

Jim in CT   March 25th, 2008 12:05 pm ET

I would watch CNN too, if I was naive enough to be an Obama supporter – the pro Obama bias is hard to stomach for rest of America. Your growing list of on-air Obama apologists is unrivaled! Only Anderson Cooper even tries to be fair!

Debbie   March 25th, 2008 12:05 pm ET

Well, I guess she got her 15 minutes of fame and then some. How nice. And why do we even bother giving this story a look on CNN? Why is CNN running it? Must be a slow news day …

j williamson   March 25th, 2008 12:04 pm ET

What a sad state of affairs this is – giving this silly fluff news attention. This is indicative of how the line between presidential politics and Hollywood entertainment has been blurred. Theodore White (author of the "Making of the President" books) must be turning in his grave. You can do better CNN.

guudboi   March 25th, 2008 12:04 pm ET

As Clinton lost it out on intergrity, by lying that she was under sniper fire in Bosnia, she should just bow out honorably before other emperical evidences surface on her experience claims.

Mike   March 25th, 2008 12:04 pm ET

And this is newsworthy because………..

Okay, CNN, I'm having somewhat of a difficult time understanding why this article is accepting postings, but you aren't posting any of the messages on the article about Hillary LYING her face off. Is this news?

suzy   March 25th, 2008 12:04 pm ET

Why doesn't someone ask OBAMA what HIS foreign policy experience is?????? Too scared to ask because HE HAS NONE??????
Don't want to know the answer?????

I have an idea! Why don't YOU stop…..

No news.   March 25th, 2008 12:02 pm ET

Slow news day I guess. Wonder how much this chick knows about electorial college and what it takes to win the White House. Bimbo!

tim   March 25th, 2008 12:02 pm ET

LOSER- need we say more

KC   March 25th, 2008 12:02 pm ET

To Marc from Indiana:
Then the same goes for Hillary right? Bill Clinton!

actxent   March 25th, 2008 12:02 pm ET

Stop crying about what's news and what's not. I got news for you. Everything is news. Let's be adults here. If what CNN post was not news then why read it. I think they have done their job.

Level Headed Democrat   March 25th, 2008 12:01 pm ET

What a talentless piece of trash. A mascot befitting Barack Obama.

R   March 25th, 2008 12:01 pm ET

who cares? I doubt she even knows what CSPAN is. she didn't even vote

Adam   March 25th, 2008 12:01 pm ET

Shame on CNN for reporting this TRASH! Who cares what this person thinks. Why does America publicize the stupid?

HAJ   March 25th, 2008 12:01 pm ET

CNN is turning to be Jerry Springer gone bad!!

The truth hurts   March 25th, 2008 12:01 pm ET

CNN–You are the Obama News Center. Incredible! you would make this a headline. Very dissapointed at CNN.

NOhillary08   March 25th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

You hillarybots are the biggest bunch of hypocrits on the face of the earth, you can dish it but cant take it, STFU by now already

Obama 08

Vicki   March 25th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

Politics bring the "wanna be's" out of the woodwork for their 5 minutes of nothing.

Greg   March 25th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

What is this garbage? This isn't news, Obama is unelectable and CNN is still insisting on going after Hillary and lifting Obama up as the better candidate.

STOP taking sides, start reporing what really matters.

Anna   March 25th, 2008 12:00 pm ET

Sooo-ooo stupid!
Obama needs to donate his money to his church! :-) To support po-o-o-ooor people.

Matthew   March 25th, 2008 11:59 am ET

SHE DIDN"T EVEN VOTE IN THE PRIMARY!!!!

pc   March 25th, 2008 11:59 am ET

Obama will win the nomination. I agree with the Obama Girl!!

Go Obama!! 08

Tom   March 25th, 2008 11:58 am ET

Y'all are REALLY starving for news aren't you? So far I've seen Obama on vacation when he should've been in church and this…………person's attempt at……………………whatever it is she's attempting -to become famous? Even for the crazed individuals cheering on their own sides in these battles while the battles ultimately ensure the loss of the political war with the republicans, this stuff is ridiculous!

John Zeger   March 25th, 2008 11:58 am ET

Amber Lee sure is attractive, but is there any substantive reason that we should pay any attention to what she says?

Pam   March 25th, 2008 11:58 am ET

I find this pretty pathetic, and a total ABOMINATION particularly since "Obama girl" didn't even vote for "her guy." Obama girl watches CNN? Right! And so does my cat. I don't think she could find it if it bit her in the face. Puh-leeze, this girl only did the video to collect a check. Let's keep it real people! This is only one more reason for Hillary to get my vote!

RIghtyTighty   March 25th, 2008 11:58 am ET

Love Obama girl…, hate Obama's naivety.

Nando, Florida   March 25th, 2008 11:57 am ET

Don't let Bill get near her!!!!

Jon Cruz   March 25th, 2008 11:57 am ET

CNN, you're disgusting. This is news? Is it news because it's a free promo for your network? And is it any surprise she loves CNN? You're outrageously pro-Obama.

Michael   March 25th, 2008 11:57 am ET

Is this really news??? The fact that CNN is outting htis on its political ticker should be embarrasing for a "news ogranization"

Joanna   March 25th, 2008 11:56 am ET

A moron is full of self-conceit. Is the crazy girl qualified to tell the fighter what she needs to do? Funny!

richardm   March 25th, 2008 11:56 am ET

'Public hopes the Desperate Obama Girl can Find a Real Job' and quite being a parasite on someone else!

FedUP   March 25th, 2008 11:55 am ET

Could the Obama Girl be the next Monica Lewinsky. Maybe Obama can put in on the staff counsel.

South Beach   March 25th, 2008 11:55 am ET

I think the word is Obamination. It's an Obamination. And the attacks are relentless from the Obamination.

Randi   March 25th, 2008 11:55 am ET

I don't know why everyone is all of a sudden interested in what this "internet star" has to say…All it shows is that she is following the crowd instead of thinking for herself. She actually will not say who she will be voting for. She could be voting for Hillary…but the Obama camp is paying good money for her to do these videos.

Steve   March 25th, 2008 11:55 am ET

CNN.. how is this news? Why don't you cover the story of how Clinton "misspoke" on her foreign policy experience.

TX girl   March 25th, 2008 11:55 am ET

This is almost as newsworthy as pictures of Obama'a vacation. Guess CNN is so partial to Obama they will do anything to keep his name on the web page. When are you going to come out and be honest and endorse Obama?

J East Windsor, CT   March 25th, 2008 11:55 am ET

What worries the Clinton campaign the most about this video is how Bill Clinton must be plotting a way to get Obama girl in the sack instead of concocting new ways of campaigning negatively without sounding like it.

bab   March 25th, 2008 11:55 am ET

oboma girl really needs to stay away longer. before she hurts her own competion.

sam   March 25th, 2008 11:54 am ET

what a news item!! Cannot you please Enlighten some of your viewers on some more important, intelligent subject matters ? We are for ever exposed to your very own "obama girls" – day in and day out on your tv channel!!

Kaseam, Philly, PA   March 25th, 2008 11:54 am ET

It's nice to finally hear something light and funny. Anyone that takes this serious needs help.

She does have a point though!

Sue   March 25th, 2008 11:54 am ET

And this is newsworthy. Keep it up CNN!! You just love those attacks on Hillary!!

Carmela, Longwood, Florida   March 25th, 2008 11:54 am ET

And why exactly is this worth being mentioned in CNN's political ticker?

al   March 25th, 2008 11:54 am ET

CNN shouldn't report this. This girl using media to further her career And it's a stupid story anyway. Looks like CNN has having a slow day today.

Tom   March 25th, 2008 11:54 am ET

This is your lead article in the Political Ticker?!
You forgot to mention that the Obama Girl didn't actually go out and vote in her primary.

Terry Frakes   March 25th, 2008 11:53 am ET

Maybe Obama girl needs to get a life!! Stop the attacks!!! what the hell does she think she is doing in this video. Come on Obama campaign and supporters. Walk the walk and talk the talk. Stop being the biggest hipicrates in this party.

seah   March 25th, 2008 11:53 am ET

LOL

Obama girl did not even vote for Obama.

Wonder how much she is being paid and by whom?

christian   March 25th, 2008 11:53 am ET

THIS IS ABSOLUTE NONSENSE. Why is CNN not posting any comments, especially on blogs that are negative on Hillary (see "misspoke")?!?! But there are 200+ comments on the blog about Obama being on vacation?

WHAT A CROCK!

Terry   March 25th, 2008 11:53 am ET

Fan-tastic. Can we just ignore her? She didn't even bother to vote in the primary. Singing a song about a candidate doesn't count if you don't actually show your support when it comes time to do so.

No word about the fact that she has a cooking tips web-show on Spike TV…guess that would show her as an obvious attention-getting nobody.

I'm all for Obama…I just can't stand this girl.

Matt, Cleveland OH   March 25th, 2008 11:52 am ET

Really CNN? REALLY?

Claudette, TX   March 25th, 2008 11:52 am ET

Excuse me missy….this is NOT an Obama nation.

Amy, Kazoo   March 25th, 2008 11:52 am ET

5 minutes left!

Jamey Columbus   March 25th, 2008 11:52 am ET

I would prefer real news… such as the potential of Gore still grabbing the nod..

Thanks

NickNasc   March 25th, 2008 11:52 am ET

Getting my popcorn ready for this thread : ) The Billary Bots should be VERY entertaining on this one.

LET THE WHINEING BEGIN!!!!

Kim in GA   March 25th, 2008 11:52 am ET

She's right!!!!!!

Steve herrick   March 25th, 2008 11:52 am ET

Too funny

Patty   March 25th, 2008 11:51 am ET

Too bad the only thing I think of when I see her now is she was too busy partying to go vote when she had the chance. I think she gave up the right to tell anyone what to do in her videos when she didn't even vote for Obama when she had the chance.

joy   March 25th, 2008 11:51 am ET

she looks pathetic and untrustworthy.

really   March 25th, 2008 11:51 am ET

The news reported that Obama girl did not even vote in the primaries-clearly, she wants her 15 minutes of fame out of this and is not that interested in making her vote count!

angie   March 25th, 2008 11:51 am ET

This is so pathetic — people who actually listen to someone who calls herself "Obama Girl" really should not be allowed to vote.

Deb   March 25th, 2008 11:51 am ET

Obama is no longer a viable candidate!

The Obama Girl actually voted for Hillary!

We are electing a President not a Rock Star!

Anonymous   March 25th, 2008 11:50 am ET

YEA!!!! Obama GIrl is back. She is going to save the day.

OBAMA 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edgardo   March 25th, 2008 11:50 am ET

And this trash is relevant because???????

GO HILL! Let's make sense of everything!

Chris   March 25th, 2008 11:50 am ET

Good, everyone need to pressure Hillary to step down as she is destroying the democrats chances.

Superdelegates starting from April will start endorsing Obama and pressure Hillary to quit.

PY   March 25th, 2008 11:50 am ET

Is not she the one who forgot to vote for her HERO,
And it was all over the news???
You remember?
Too sick to vote, but not too sick to go dancing??
O,Well, some ppl never know when to shut up.

GAgal   March 25th, 2008 11:50 am ET

Distasteful at best. CNN – do we have to have internet coverage of other internet garbage?

Eric-Blakelsee, PA   March 25th, 2008 11:49 am ET

I wonder how much the Obama campaign payed her to do this?

Alda   March 25th, 2008 11:49 am ET

What an idiot she is.She does not know what voting means or what it means to be a woman who has to work for a living. All she knows is showing off her body parts. Not exactly an enlightened woman.

stacy   March 25th, 2008 11:49 am ET

a bit ridiculous in these serious times.

Jim   March 25th, 2008 11:48 am ET

What a ding bat. Hillary is not a quitter and she never was. One airhead who wannabe a singer does not count. She should stay asleep before she gets hurt.

bigben   March 25th, 2008 11:48 am ET

btw is this the same Obama Girl that couldn't even be bothered to vote for Obama in her primary?

bigben   March 25th, 2008 11:47 am ET

this here is a reason , not to vote for obama

Ron, TX   March 25th, 2008 11:47 am ET

Stephy, Groton Connecticut   March 25th, 2008 11:46 am ET

Aren't you CNN producers, commentators, and journalists proud that the famous Obama Girl mentions your name in her songs!

chris nguyen   March 25th, 2008 11:46 am ET

she looked like a called girl and i doubt obama campaign need to hire her at the middle of wright 's storms..

new voter   March 25th, 2008 11:46 am ET

WOW! at least someone is calling for peace! With all that
"Foreign Policy" experience, Sillary has no "dignity" experience

demos in 08′

David in Indiana   March 25th, 2008 11:44 am ET

All is fair in politics and war. SNL helped HRC, so the Obama Girl video is appropriate fodder.

P Graber   March 25th, 2008 11:44 am ET

Chalk up another young thing who just follows wherever anybody leads. Let's just hope she comes to her senses and says NO to BO before it's too late.

PKS   March 25th, 2008 11:44 am ET

CNN you guys used THEIR where it should read THERE.

I thought the "Obama girl" voted for Clinton. If so, why she still called the Obama girl?

She needs a new hobbie.

Stacy Clarks, Texas   March 25th, 2008 11:44 am ET

wow…just wow…does this belong on the ticker?!

OBAMA08!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bob Stephens   March 25th, 2008 11:43 am ET

She sure has it right about Hillary having a crush on John McCain. She can't stop saying nice things about Weather Vane McCain.

Steve   March 25th, 2008 11:43 am ET

Is this a joke?

Talimee   March 25th, 2008 11:43 am ET

How is this news?

Brenda Elizabeth Waters   March 25th, 2008 11:42 am ET

'Out of the mouths of 'BABES'

maya   March 25th, 2008 11:41 am ET

Ridiculous. And this girl didn't even vote when she had the chance…

caywen   March 25th, 2008 11:41 am ET

I'm an Obama supporter and a male, so I welcome any opportunity to see more Obama girl. But is this news?

marc from Indiana   March 25th, 2008 11:41 am ET

Obama should be the one to step aside. He has shown himself to be unelectable. You are only as good as the company you keep. Right Rev. Wright?

Mike   March 25th, 2008 11:40 am ET

Blind leading the blind. Obama is the one doing the attacks. He attacked Hillary first in the debates, his people have been throwing out garbage all day long. His pastor attacked Clinton in the pulpit and America. Now the new pastor of Obama equates Wright with Jesus.

Get a life. Obama has all his people do the dirty work while he looks pretty with emotional driven speeches.

Hillary is the real thing.

charlotte   March 25th, 2008 11:40 am ET

PS. She is sure a lot prettier than Michelle, and probably loves this country.

Marc   March 25th, 2008 11:39 am ET

what a bimbo… you're in the wrong line of work, honey.

RuthieM   March 25th, 2008 11:39 am ET

Hillary should take Obama Girl's advice — NOW!!

charlotte   March 25th, 2008 11:39 am ET

Maybe she is hoping to be Obamas' intern?
