CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands (CNN) - For three days, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama is enjoying some private down time on the island of St. Thomas, a source close to the U.S. territory's Government House in the capital of Charlotte Amalie confirmed Monday.

The source also confirmed that Gov. John deJongh "unofficially" met with the Illinois senator and his family upon their arrival at St. Thomas' Cyril E. King Airport Sunday morning.

Obama campaign officials had been vague about the Obama family trip.

The senator will resume campaigning on Wednesday in North Carolina.

Is Obama not a Senator? Has he not already neglected most of work?

Who is paying for the security detail? Me...

The funny thing is while he's resting himself, you Obama hating LOSERS are on here having no life but spending countless hours blogging on CNN. Hillary can't do the same b/c she's busying searching for bad Obama pictures on the internet to come up with or some sort of weird Videos!

Hillary supportors can't do math or project into the feature.
    Their strong holds
    1. Hate anyting having to do with Obama
    2. Play the Rev. Wright video over and over and pist off and come blog on CNN
    3. Get pist off when Monica's blue dressed is mentioned

Ask them what the delegate count is or what are the upcoming primaries/caucuses, or what are the polls in the remaining state, they wont know!

Senator Clinton and Monica's boyfriend both look tired and should take some rest. After all, they have to make it through October and the first part of November.

I understand it was the Republican controlled Legislature in Florida that decided on the date selected for the primary, if that is true(and I would love to hear more on this) then the Republican party sabotaged the democratic primary, not the DNC. Who set the date in Michigan? Don't you think this changes what is going on?

Good for you Obama! I hope you can enjoy some nice down time and a nice spring break with your family! Hopefully the media will leave you alone for a week.

You Obama supporters should get your heads out of the sand. I've done nothing but laugh at all your flowery praise of him. He is nothing but a big phony .... when are you going to wake up to that?

Helen, you're too slow. The Virgin Islands already had their primary. Obama won it 90%-8%. The governor is a super delegate and Puerto Rico is right next door. Their primary is sometime in June, I think.

Obama seems to be doing a good job teaching his supporters to hate. It doesn't matter if Obama wins the primary, he will be out this fall. I use to like him but the media has turned me against him plus the hate and lies that his supporters are spewing.against Hillary. I know some of you think you have found your God, I'm afraid you are worshiping a false God in Obama. . I still have faith that Americans will see the light . One thing about it if Obama gets the nomination he sure can't say he won it fairly. Ask people in Fl. and Mich. Obama is scared of them now–Wait until November.

My admiration and support for the Clintons has been thoroughly
tested. I did know there was so much negative dirty thoughts in their
hearts. I say, Go Obama and may the grace of God be with you.

  13. news for you

    Hillary is actually ahead.
It is not her fault that the votes in Florida and Michigan are not being counted.

Lets see if Obama would be ahead and hold a RE-VOTE.

Of course no candidate can catch up if the votes in their favor are tossed out and not counted.

Lets not count a few million of Obama's votes and see how far behind he would be.

Who cares whether Barak goes to Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico? Its a useless news to keep Barak on the front pages so that people should not forget.

It is hard work warding off the personal attacks from a "candidate" who has virtually no chance of winning the nomination, but continues to prolong the contest out of vidictiveness and a sense of entitlement, to the detriment of the people for whom she claims to working. Give the guy a break and let him relax for a couple days. I am going to donate another 100 bucks to pick up his mojito bill.

A well deserved rest. This is a picture of a confident leader.

I get the feeling that as President, Obama won't be paranoid and up at 3:00 am in the morning. He will be confidently sleeping like the rest of America and the free world. Enough said...

Nice to see that Obama is a true faithful and family-man. We need mor emen like this guy in this nation. Any one with a family can understand that Obama is "not" selfish. He has obligations to his "little children" who certainly deserve better. You can spin all that you can; Bill and Hillary have an adult in the same home filled with adultary, lies, and scandals!!! How do you really feel about these Clintons being back in the White (tanished) House?

The people sending these hateful and angry e-mails.....Do you understand YOU are destroying the democratic party, and John McCain is going to win in November? Ask yourself WHY are you so angry? This has NOTHING to do with Barack or Hillary, it's YOU!!!!

Love it! Would have never imagine that most posts here going back and forth are from Democrats going against Democrafts. Now we know the kind of attacks Democraft have been launching against Republicans going back to Watergate. Makes me feel like singing:

    HOW DOES IT FEEEEEL?

  23. FLORIDA/MICHIGAN REVOTE

The democrats in Florida and Michigan will not vote in the general election if their votes are not counted!

A revolt is in the works in both states. No democratic vote should be denied and it is up to the people of these states as to a revote and not Barry Obama.

If he is the democratic nominee, then he has won that title as a cheat!

All votes should be counted! You will be sorry Obama when the democrats from these states do not turn out to vote in November.

Obama, YOU will lose the Presidency and lose our chance as democrats.

You Clinton supporters are a trip. How did he pay for it? You can't be serious. US Senators earn a six figure salary. He has a wife that makes a six figure salary. I know that Clinton appeals to the less educated but most should be able to figure that out without resorting to "did he spend my $25 contribution on his trip to the US Virgin islands." Get a life.
