In reading these comments your all pretty sick, and some are downright nasty. Why must there be an attack then a counter attack?
Obama lies, Hillary lies, McCain lies, they're all politicians. When have we ever had a politician who didn't lie. The question will be who lies the least? Anyone who believes a politician is a fool! We will vote as always, for the lesser of two evils. There will be plenty of time after the convention to see who we believe will be better at lying then the other person. Believe it or not the best liar will win. Look at what we now have, the best liar of all, he talked alot about change. Boy, did we get change or what? Careful what you ask for, you just might get it.

Marc,
I have considered myself to be a white person for over 29 years now. But if I ever was viewed as being the typical white person that you so eloquently described I would jump off a cliff.

Hi,
I am from Australia , married with 3 children. Whilst US politics does not affect me directly I have followed it with interest on CNN TV as I believe the US has a major role to play in world politics and hence future generations.

As an outsider I see this as a critical moment in US history. The American people made a big mistake in voting for Bush rather than Gore. If Clinton gets the nomination it will be another mistake that the US could not recover from - because there is no doubt the Democrats will go on to win. The US clearly need to look forward and claim some economic and cultural credibility in the world. They need to be liked and not only feared. So which candidate do i and my colleagues think is best for the future? One clear choice: Obama. Read on.

ON CLINTON: We do not believe what she says. She is focused on wining at any cost. She represents the old politics of power and deceit. Her previous acts betray her current language. To her this is a personal goal and not a national one.

ON McCAIN: We like the guy. McCain sounds comforting and relaxed. In another timeline in US history he could be what is needed. But that is not what the US need right now. He lacks the energy and enthusiasm needed to pull the US out of social and economic gloom. Sorry McCain but you are too old for this generation.

ON OBAMA: He sounds and looks genuine. He is about wining for the US and not for himself. The Wright controversy is a distraction from the fact that this man is clearly what the US desperately need. I wish we had him in Australia! We recently changed government for a younger candidate like Obama and it has stimulated excitement and hope for the younger generation. Its made the nation feel more positive about itself. The US has the same opportunity in Obama. Hang onto him. He will llift your country out of despair and make America the loved and respected saviour of the world again.

LASTLY: How can you call Fox a news network? It is an absolute insult to human intelligence. It is more a comedy network. They have no shame.

Signed, a concerned world citizen.

Anyone voting for Hillary must love seeing the American people paying for the Clinton's pleasures as you all KNOW we are still paying for that JB Bill got while he was president or are you people sleep deprived like Hillary. Also, Christian she calls herself she needs to read her Bible! Christians pray for their leaders not dog them. They also have a responsablity to take of the husband. Hillary wants to be President so she can get back at Bill wonder who she will get to eat her.

Obama on vacation and relaxing on a lounge chair (very un-presidential while in public)..Clinton working tirelessly because she knows what is at stake for the future of America...and McCain releasing "rumors" to the media that he may be himself a Democrat, so as to appeal to the majority of American voters....Pathetic Old Hard-head.

Look, the issue here is that Clinton is the only candidate left who is capable of "fixing" America- if not, be prepared for a 100 year war and a historic economic Depression.

Obama has deep character flaws that have been exposed consistently, and no matter how he tries to spin his personal inner conflicts to the media, and America,- He is at best, an emotional pacifist. He is trying to appease white voters, and at the same time continue to support the anti-American, anti-mainstream rhetoric of his Church in Chicago. This just is not a man of integrity, nor deep committment to America or to anyone. For example, his recent endorsement includes Richardson, another politician he mirrors exactly in terms of loyalty and genuineness. NEVER OBAMA!

Since I am a "typical" white person myself, I must vote for Clinton, or McCain if he happens to be the nominee. I cannot go out to the voting booth and support a man who has himself verbally direspected me, and merely acts the part of a good President while on Stage. Barack- you are the epitome of everything that is wrong with "typical" Washington poiltics, and yet you propagandize that as the opposite of your true nature. Barack, you will say and do anything to get elected, and then spin your exact corrupt political tactics, so eloquently, against your competitors. VOTERS BEWARE!! You eitherther have uncontrollable psychotic tendencies, or worse, YOU ARE JUST A REALLY GOOD MANIPULATOR OF PEOPLE during times when all Americans are seeking a change for the better.
NEVER OBAMA!

Re the Bill Clinton story above...

This is what Bill has been doing all along, ever since S. Carolina. He's been trying to pick a fight, because he doesn't give a rip. He got impeached, and it didn't phase him, so of course a fight within the party doesn't phase him. Nothing will ever phase him.

And that's why I can not vote for Hillary Clinton. She cannot tell her husband to shut up.

Why is some Billary supporters claiming that ending war is her idea!

She stole that idea from Obama. She was totally for war in Iraq! Not only that she voted for war in Iran just in the fall (2007), less than a few months ago. So, apparently she didn't learn from her first mistake and is still up for war. She just says that she is now against war because she is jealous of Obama getting to be the favorite with his position against war. So, what does she do? Simply steal Obama's idea!

Clintons have master the art of lying. HRC said she will attempt to still Obama's pledge delegates and I can never look at the Clintons the same way ever again.

Obama has been open to the American people.

Can Hillary be honest?

At least HRC was in a war zone.Done more than Obama has ever done.Obama has done ZERO. HRC was told that they might have sniper fire over there. It was told by someone that was on CNN ,who was on the trip.So thats what she remembered. Not like Obama that straight out lied about hate sermons, than gets caught so he has to cover it up with a speech. You Clinton haters dont have no reality.Thats why you live in your fantasy world with Obama. Wake up out of your dream before its to late.Dont put the cart before the horse. This race isnt over until the Super Deligates pick the most qualified canidate to be our Leader. The U.S. Military officials even endorse HRC, because they know she will make our best Leader. Our country will not give a greenhorn with no qualifications to be our Leader. He has more experience by his speeches and unity of young ,to be a preacher.Twenty yrs. of it. This is not a game they are playing. Our lives depend on this race for our Leader. Dont be foolish and vote for stardom quality and speeches of hope and changes ,that cant be delivered. Just remember HRC is our only real hope to beat the republicans. If she looses election ,the Dems are done for another 4 to 8 yrs. Obama will be demolished going against them.Obama whines in the race and plays the card .What is going to happen if he gets elected. Give me a break. HRC is the fighter and will fight until the end, like she will for us. HRC stands for issues, plans.and solutions. GO HRC

Hillary R. Clinton will win the Democratic nomination and she will win the general election and

become the next president of America in 2009.

This is how she will win:

The pledge delegates won in the primaries are not bound, by their splitting by percentages, won

by either Clinton or Obama.

Thus the true voices of the people will be heard, i.e. the great state of New York voted that they

wanted Hillary R. Clinton to be the Democratic party leader. But according to the rules of DNC

(RULES ARE RULES) she had to split her state's delegates and give a large percentage of these

delegates to Obama.

One of the other rules of DNC (RULES ARE RULES) Pledge delegates won in the primary are not

bound by that commitment.

We will not get into the dumb rules in some states; such as even if you win the state by voters

count, you can still end up with less delegates, because you won the caucus, which can wipe out

the votes of the citizen of that state. SAY WHAT???

Hillary needs to stay focus on engaging with voters but not so much on her opponent and those who tells her to quit. The reason for this long campaign season is that candidates has time to convince all the voters. And also to prove how they can stand the heat.

Go, Hillary. Women have endurance and toughness as well.

How about the eight years of failed Clinton policy, namely revolutionizing health care and overhauling Social Security, both of which were key election promises which neither Clinton had any clue how to get done.
Go Obama,
Go John, and ...
go AWAY Hillary.

Hey Jack, I am a little confused. Is it possible for the remaining Super Delegates to just cast their votes right noe instead of waiting to see the inevitable? By them sitting on the side lines is not that a "SURE" way to loose the final prize? It seems to me that Howard Dean is giving the Clinton's all the chances to try to get close but all that is doing is destroying the party. By them NOT pulling the trigger right NOW they are playing exactly into Bill and Hillary's hand is by making sure that the Democratic chances with Barack Obama gets destroyed and blown out of the water. Can not they see this?? Are they that blind?

All this infighting is just symptomatic of the country at this time. Invading Iraq was a mistake pure and simple and getting out should be a priority for any candidate regardless of their politics. The soldiers who are bearing the brunt of it in an area of the world that has been plagued by ethnic violence for centuries deserve that.

On a more general point, if Americans would just stop and look at themselves they would see that ending a reliance on coal and oil and worship of the almighty automobile might just stop the rapid fall into depression that is obvious to anyone living outside the country.

McCain is probably a decent man and undeniably a true patriot.
But, he's a terrible candidate for President.

He's a long-term senator who has run multiple times for the highest office in our land. And, yet, in all that time, he has never bothered to become better informed and educated on serious issues that our President will need to take action on... namely the economy.

It seems that McCain feels that he can run on a reasonably good record of bipartisan efforts and strong support for military action on our behalf. But, even on his pet issues, he's not impressing us lately. He clearly doesn't even understand the fundamental fight between Sunnis and Shiites in Iraq. If he did,, he'd never have mistaken the fact that "Al Qaeda in Iraq" are NOT getting training from their RIVALS in Iran!
I'm no US Senator, but I do try to keep up on what is going on in Iraq and the "war on terror". And, even regular ol' me knew that Iranians and Al Qaeda are not allied.

Talimee: I'm just gonna come out and say it straight forward... you're ignorant. You just spit out all that you've heard from the media and clearly haven't done any research of your own.

1. Obama is the chair of the SUB-committee for EUROPEAN affairs under the main committee that is the Foreign Relations Committee. Now if you think Afghanistan is in Europe then maybe you should go buy a map... nah you aren't that stupid you're just that uninformed.

2. Have you ever studied finance or economics? When we invest in Iraq the money is gone. But when we invest in the US then it stays in the US and when the country turns around and can then get us out of debt. Not investing any money isn't going to do anything.

3. Just because you haven't heard him talk about it (which btw, no candidate will give out the specifics of their plans because it will be picked apart and destroyed before it even has a chance) doesn't mean that he doesn't have any solutions.

4. The only thing I agree with. But you can't hold that against ONLY him, that would be absurd. Bush and the rest of the right wingers won't allow any federal help with the housing crisis. It's too much of "big government" and saving the foolish for them, so to say that they're not trying isn't fair... there's nothing they can do, at least that isn't already being done.

Conclusion: Do not JUST listen to speeches. That last part of your comment told me EXACTLY what I predicted in the first sentence of my comment, you are only getting your view of the candidates through the TV. Go look at their records, check out their histories, and read what they've said about the issues or what other people have said about their stances on the issues.

Obama doesn't have a prayer with McCain.

Hillary is definitely the toughest of both candidates.
She has the experience and I tell you she WILL change the White House.
We don't need hope, we need someone that knows how to do it.
Go Girl!

Obama will win the nomination. He will win because he is running a transparent campaign, he addressed the pastor wright issue, nafta, and rezko of which none are anything compared to Hillary's lies and deceit. I am not white or black but i can tell you there is a racial problem in this country and Obama understands that.

Before speaking bad about obama read the senate record of both the candidates and you will see who has done more. He has also unified more people and has not sold out his party to win like Hillary. Hillary is a JUDAS !!!! And by the way he is not black he is mixed, get it through your brains.

People Race and Gender is playing a MAJOR ROLE here in this race... CNN has a point!!!

If Barack Obama were a traditional, White American where would his ratings be???

Or if Hillary were a Black woman, where would this all go????

If you change views after these theories, then race and gender DOES in fact play a significant role in your selection...

Wow, all these comments really show the lack of education of what I hope isn't an average sampling of the American public. Think for yourselves, read and listen with questioning ears. Look at all the attempts to thwart Obama, and I can only hope it won't work. Hillary with her lies and her insatiable lust for power, McCain the war hawk and his ties to Bush. Wow, can people really be shocked Obama attended an African American church that is frustrated by the racial history in America? All this race stuff lately just proves that the frustration is real and alive...

Get over it... Obama is the rightful nominee. Thankfully, an educated well spoken politician. It's about time!

This nation will never be as great as we should or can because of idiots. We are misinformed and only believe what’s broadcasted in the media. American’s hear a few blurbs from a few sermons then believe this Pastor hates America, if you honestly believe that Rev. Wright preached a message of “Hate” for 20 years you’re a fool.

HEY WILLY, the reason you cannot tell them apart is because OBAMA was the "I agree guy " when the debates were taking place. HILLARY in the hot seat providing answers and SOLUTIONS FOR AMERICA and Barach on the side being fed grapes by the reporters...

HOW LAX....

THIS country needs a leader that can do both motivate and lead yet not letting us be distracted with all the nonsense the media has helped boost over the last few weeks.

I have tried to debate with Obama supporters and most of them cannot tell me WHY they are supporting OBAMA. All they say is "He is Change".. That's it! Change like what?, like he's black??... "Ummm, yeah"... PLEASE GET REAL!!!!

HOLY CRAP... I am so sick and tired of dem's going against dems. Folks saying that if their democratic nominee doesn't win, they are voting for McCain or nothing at all. I really hope that once a nominee is picked that people are able to look past their their personal feelings and all the nastiness and vote for the party that represents them.

I was extremely disappointed that last two elections when Bush won but it's more disappointing to read/hear about people within the democratic party berate each other. I support Obama and as much as I don't like Hilary, I will vote for her if she is the nominee as I DO NOT want McCain in office.

Uh Mike... have you heard?

Obama STILL leads John McCain in the head-to-head matchup and STILL leads Hillary among Democrats? Not to mention votes, states and delegates. Why is he still here? BECAUSE HE'S STILL WINNING!

You know...
We still have not heard one plan from Senator Obama!!! A lot of putting everyone else down but nothing at all to back it up...
Is the whole hype based on his speeches? I am pretty sure it is and I am also pretty sure that if he was ever elected, we would be in for a four year speech!!!
He is just not ready to Govern our Nation...
