50 Cent says he was impressed with Obama's speech on race.
50 Cent says he was impressed with Obama's speech on race.

(CNN) Hillary Clinton appears to have lost a high-profile backer to rival Barack Obama.

Rapper 50 Cent, who told Time magazine last September he was supporting the New York senator's White House bid, now says he has decided to shift his allegiance to Obama.

The multi-platinum star, born Curtis Jackson, told MTV News Friday that Obama's recent speech on race was the deciding factor for his decision.

"I heard Obama speak," he said. "He hit me with that he-just-got-done-watching-'Malcolm X,' and I swear to God, I'm like, 'Yo, Obama!'

"I'm Obama to the end now, baby!"

But the musician also admitted he's lost interest in the protracted Democratic race, and may not support either candidate.

"To be honest, I haven't been following that anymore. I lost my interest," he said. "I listened to some of the debates and things that they were saying, and I just got lost in everything that was going on…Don't look for my vote, for me to determine nothing on that. Just say, '50 Cent, he don't know, so don't ask Fiddy.'

He also said he didn't think the country is ready for a black president.

"I just think there's people that might not be ready for an African-American president," he said. "It'll be an issue, believe it or not."

"You've got to be conscious of racism, period," he continued. "And it's still there. We don't deal with it as often as my grandparents did. My grandparents grew up in South Carolina, so they experienced the heart of that."

Angus McDugan   March 31st, 2008 2:55 pm ET

That's it…. This is the deciding factor in my voiting!!

MovingOn   March 31st, 2008 2:55 pm ET

okay I'm an Obama supporter but I read this and had to say, Huh?
Is it a slow news day or something, CNN just trying to find things to keep the nomination process on the front page given we are looking at another 3 weeks before the next vote. Come on give me a break.

Kimberly in Texas   March 31st, 2008 2:55 pm ET

Great, another Obama supporter, but really, how is this serious news?

Obama 2008!

Fifty is Fabulous   March 31st, 2008 2:56 pm ET

Yeah, CNN! Keep slapping Hillary. Your headlines are terribly
biased.

Stavy   March 31st, 2008 2:57 pm ET

Who cares 50! At least his speech got your peak, now tell the rest of your friends what a better candidate Obama is.

Ito, Yokosuka Japan   March 31st, 2008 2:57 pm ET

This guy who claims to be hard core is a poser. He should have supported Obama from the beginning. And because of a speach he had a religious experience and crossed over from the dark side? Well, it's better than Johnny comes lately than never at all. Good job 50.

vanchava   March 31st, 2008 2:57 pm ET

hahaha

I'm an Obama supporter but

WHY IS THIS NEWS?

Antoine   March 31st, 2008 2:57 pm ET

why do we report this. He can't even vote felony charge. LOL

Matt W   March 31st, 2008 2:57 pm ET

Wow. What helpful, thoughtful, articulate remarks. Fiddy's comments have caused me to pause and carefully reevaluate what I think about everything in this Democratic race.

Talimee   March 31st, 2008 2:57 pm ET

How is this news? Though I am an Obama supporter, but I don't think this belongs to the ticker.

Jonathan Braden   March 31st, 2008 2:59 pm ET

Was this petty news meant to mask the bigger story below about Obama's double-digit lead?

Joseph Claghorn   March 31st, 2008 2:59 pm ET

So he's "Obama to the end" in one sentence and immediately after he's lost his interest and doesn't even know if he'll vote?!? I guess we'll have to wait another four weeks for some real election news…

Ozone   March 31st, 2008 2:59 pm ET

50 cents is what he is worth.

Jordan - San Marcos TX   March 31st, 2008 2:59 pm ET

I'm an Obama supporter…but CNN please come on. The validity of his opnion can be summed up by his 2004 endorsement of G.W. Bush because he's "gangsta". I motion that we ban national coverage of celebrety endorsements (regardless of who they're endorsing), this is pretty…how can I say it, pretty dumb.

Eric-PA   March 31st, 2008 3:00 pm ET

Is he trying to say Malcolm X and Obama are similar? I do agree. Keep in mind Malcolm X was a big racist who divided this country.

pj   March 31st, 2008 3:00 pm ET

i'm on obama supporter, but must say, i'd rather that we didnt report on what an idiot like 50 cent thinks, wasn't posted as news on CNN. for crying out loud, he's a thug who got rich and famous because he lived to rap about his gun shot wounds, who the hell cares what he thinks is the answer to our political questions.

we should avoid this kind of nonsense.

Jordan - San Marcos TX   March 31st, 2008 3:00 pm ET

If this continues the Democratic party is going to make People Magazines sexist man of the year a superdelegate in 2012.

Frank in Missouri   March 31st, 2008 3:01 pm ET

Hillary Clinton does not care about "50 Cents". If you don't have millions, you are not her friend.

You know, she would be more likable, but the time she spend in the battle in Vietnam, Bosnia and Iraq made her hard and bitter.

George   March 31st, 2008 3:01 pm ET

Who cares, his dirty music reminds me of obama's pastor. Hope he supports obama now. Wright preaches, obama gives speeches and 50 cent sings. There is your dream team.

Clifford   March 31st, 2008 3:01 pm ET

Ah, and we listed to these ganster rap racial vulgar artists why? What has this country become other than reporters reporting on non news about people that make little to no change in the world of politics. I'm sure 50 cents voters are either in jail or dead on the street.

Ratgurl   March 31st, 2008 3:02 pm ET

Welcome to the Obama support crew, Fiddy.

I think it's too bad that there are still people, both black & white, who think America's not ready for a black president. In my idealistic world, this country is ready for a LEADER - someone who can remove us from our current disastrous state and bring us back to being a respected and honorable (not to mention, awed) country. Seriously, who cares what the president's ethnicity is if he/she can regain the power, composure, and respect this country once had & rightfully deserves to have again.

Obama has it in him. Regardless of his race.

William   March 31st, 2008 3:02 pm ET

Being that most of his listeners are probably under the age of 18, this endorsement means nothing.

lois   March 31st, 2008 3:02 pm ET

Hillary lost if for sure now.

FELISA   March 31st, 2008 3:02 pm ET

sO!!!!

Michael   March 31st, 2008 3:02 pm ET

First he supports Hillary the neo Hitler, and now he switches to Obama?

I respect the hip-hop community alot, but Obama needs 50's endorsement like a hole in the head…

JIM   March 31st, 2008 3:03 pm ET

50 cent? 25 cent? who cares? Stick to that crap you call music.

what.   March 31st, 2008 3:03 pm ET

oh golly.

Ric   March 31st, 2008 3:03 pm ET

Pink was right. What happened to the dream of a girl president, she's dancing in a video for 50 Cent. I dont know if Obama should be impressed or saddened.

What kind of stupid article is this? 50 cent supports Obama. 50 cent doesn't really care about or follow the Democratic race any more. 50 cent gets lost in the issues.

Slow news day?

VOTER FOR TRUTH, DIGNITY-OBAMA/EDWARDS 2008   March 31st, 2008 3:04 pm ET

Congratulations 50 Cents I am a white woman, retired professional and I have been for Obamaman from Day 1………….We need the new. Hillary and Bill are expert con artists. Bill is out there everyday making "The Clintons" look good. This last statement that Bill made, "The Clintons are not used to losing" is a very egotistical, "votersowe them." remark. It is a all about winning Power, Money and Prestige. That's all!!!!! A liar is a liar is a liar. We got 2 liars!!!!!!!!!

People for McCain are Rich. People for Hillary will be voting for the
biggest con artist liars in History for President of the USA. Just what
we need is another liar for President.

KM   March 31st, 2008 3:04 pm ET

I'm an Obama supporter but CNN, everytime someone chooses to endorse a candidate should NOT be breaking news. A slow day in the newsroom I see. Just wait, someone will say something stupid and you'll run that coverage for two weeks.

dani   March 31st, 2008 3:04 pm ET

Yup! Obama gets the robot college crowd and all the people looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Who cares, he won't make the general election so you may as well keep dreaming. Just like he stole the Illinois election, he won't steal this one, no matter how much the media pushes him on us and how the DNC is strong arming others to fall in line behind Obama.

I can hear it now, Al Qaeda will be looping those tapes of Wright, GD America, …gave AIDS to the African Americans,,,, and Michelle Obama..America is mean! Get with the program.

Jordan - San Marcos TX   March 31st, 2008 3:05 pm ET

Jonathan's right…with a flood of endorsements, a new double digit national lead and the "revelation" that Hillary basically cannot win at this point without killing the Democrats chances against McCain…distractions like this do nothing but harm political discourse and keep people's minds off of the fact that this race is not nearly as close as the media is casting it today.

Obama is going to pick up 7 to 9 delegates in the Texas caucuses. He's getting a new superdelegate endorsement seemingly every day. A win for Hillary is about as likely as coming back from 15 points down in the final minute of a basketball game.

Susan   March 31st, 2008 3:07 pm ET

I'm sure Obama is thrilled!

Sammy   March 31st, 2008 3:07 pm ET

Wow — what an incredibly lame "endorsement" coming from Mr. Cent.

I'm an Obama supporter too, and I am also a musician. I just have a much clearer view of things. To voice your support for Mr. Obama, vote for him in every election that you can. And send him some money. And tell all of your friends to support him as well. But don't say "I support Obama" and then, in the same breath, say "but I ain't gonna vote, and I don't think that he's going to win."

That kind of fatalism (or apathy) is dangerous. We need great change. Vote with your dollars, vote with your feet, and vote with your voice.

Kim, I wasn't going to comment on this article but I am so tired of mostly women calling Sen. Obama ignorant. Over half of the people who call this man ignorant, can't spell or put a sentence together. If you don't like the man it's okay, but don't call him ignorant because he is not. I am a woman and I have always spent more time with men because when women attack it is more vicious. They won't stop until they destroy you.

Between Race, Gender and Age. I'll take age. Age means experience, knowledge and Wisdom. Something that Barak doesn't have and Hillary wishes she had. 50 cents will not get you a cup of coffee anywhere in the Country.

Amy Kathleen   March 31st, 2008 3:08 pm ET

Oh for pity's sake, no one should care about this, no matter who he supported. I never understood why celebrity endorsements are a big deal, why we should think that actors and musicians are more politically savvy than ordinary Americans. CNN hits a new low.

I'm not sure what his backing means to the party (NOT MUCH), but he has proven what Obama stated in his speech regarding the old timers; blacks have made advances but to believe that discrimination is over, would be naive!

White females have an easier time in getting high power jobs than blacks do. Hopefully we're closer to minimizing the color gap then ever before; this nomination will give us an indication.

How many kids does he have and with how many women? The answers to these questions will tell me if his support is worth anything at all. I have a feeling that hes just another rapper raised in the hood and prone to violence who doesnt want to hold down a real job like most productive citizens do and just wants fast money with as little work as possible. yea I said it but everyone thunk it.

I find it interesting that we all (including myself) think that this story represents a sad, sad day in american journalism…yet, we all read it? Gripe all you want, this story, in all of its pathetic-ness, just gave us something to talking about. Maybe that was the point of the coverage, eh?

Emma   March 31st, 2008 3:13 pm ET

Who cares who 50 Cent supports………………he is an American citizen and if he is so unconcerned for his future and is not watching the political drama unfolding before his very own eyes, then again, who cares? I am so glad he is not a true representative of his age generation.

He can keep up with the latest dance and music but his brain won't allow him 15 minutes to absorb the politics of the day………………his grandparents in South Carolina must be astonished that he does not intend to vote………………..maybe you need to find out what it means to be poor again!

I strongly support Obama, but I'm at a loss to see why I should care what "Fiddy" has to say. To all the hillary supporters. When she does more than cough or sneeze and maybe get some endorsements, then it can be posted by cnn. Consider that Hillary has done NOTHING at all recently other than all her "mispeakings" there really hasn't been anything to post. Stop getting so offended by people posting THE TRUTH at a new site. Its not like cnn is fabricating the truth and changing it up. News is the news..its up to the reports to report it..and its up to the people to take it however they want.

Kyle   March 31st, 2008 3:14 pm ET

This is beyond lame, seriously.

jessie   March 31st, 2008 3:14 pm ET

Forget 50 cents, this story is not relevent. One of the major problems with Obama's electibility is that he could not win the crucial big blue states and the swing states which the dem nominee would need to win in the general election. Maybe he'd win California, but he's going to have major problems with Ohio, PA, and even Florida which the Dem desparately need in order to win in November. Also, the reason he's ahead in delegates is because of winning mostly the caucuses. There will be no caucuses in the general election. That's why I think Obama is not going to win the election if he's nominated.

But isn't this typical of a lot of Obama supporters. They are not following the race, they just hear one speech and think the guy is god.

ray   March 31st, 2008 3:15 pm ET

I wonder who Britney Spears endorses…

Susan   March 31st, 2008 3:16 pm ET

America, please vote for Clinton. Our family, at first was leaning for Obama, but NOT NOW. He appears to be 'star struck' and will say anything to be in the news. Not good. Do not be afraid to vote for a woman for our President. We have women lawyers, doctors, and the majority of teachers are women……who teach our children.

Please go for Hillary Clinton.

zina   March 31st, 2008 3:16 pm ET

This is so silly. I'm an Obama supporter and I would like real news.

Please and Thank you.

If we all start to base our voting decisions on those of a person who is completely unable to speak the English language in an intelligible manner, and who doesn't know politics from popsicles, then we might as well kiss our nation goodbye.

Velle   March 31st, 2008 3:16 pm ET

WOW, I can't believe you people! NO, its "news" up-staged only by the discovery that the Earth is…oh yeah, ROUND! But give the guy a break already. I'm no fan of RAP, but I'll take this oppprtunity to soapbox a bit:
This is the first "interactive" election and we're shaming ourselves! Why all this rage, animus and bitterness? People, there is something VERY, VERY important going on and many of us are just using these blogs to offer "clever" snipes at one another and our candidates. In a very few months, the path and well-being of our country will be in the hands of one of these folks. All this "Jerry Springer Show" auditions should stop. We're hurting our election process, our parties and our dignity! The World is watching and we're behaving like children. Let's aspire to better. If we want change then WE have to take part in it! Let's start anew and really focus on the task at hand. Our founding fathers struggled to give us this opportunity. Its not a freak show!

broadstreet buddy   March 31st, 2008 3:17 pm ET

50 is no kind of endorsement. Just because he says he likes Obama does not mean all black people now like Obama.

But he is right that there is a large percentage of America that does not want to see a Black president. He is not racist, he is just a black person calling it like he sees it.

This is not real news, but Hillary Clinton not paying close to 8 million dollars in debts, to blue collar workers and working americans, some of whom supported her and voted for her, IS news!!! If Hillary can not manage a campaign budget how is she going to handle a National budget. If she is stiffing hard working americans now, what is she going to do in Office?? Report on this CNN, get on your game!!

Rob   March 31st, 2008 3:17 pm ET

This is sad on so many levels. As previously mentioned, how in the name of god is this news? This is a deplorable human being, and his "support" should be viewed as a negative if anything lol. Just go ahead and re-direct "Cnn.com" to "barackobama.com" as that's where this site already is pretty much. Such bias…

whatever   March 31st, 2008 3:17 pm ET

Ida   March 31st, 2008 3:17 pm ET

Wow… even 50 cent saw the light and good for him. There is still hope for the rest Hillary's supporters to get on the winning side… if they would for a minute open their eyes and ears and hearts and see beyond Obama's colours which are both black and white, but above all brilliant.

Sly in Seattle   March 31st, 2008 3:17 pm ET

LOL! This is funny.. hopefully 50 really involves himself in politics.. he could have a lot of influence on the people who really follow him.

OBAMA 08!

FED UP IN SEATTLE   March 31st, 2008 3:17 pm ET

I'M A DEMOCRAT BUT IF HILLARY WILL NOT GET THE NOMINATION, I WILL VOTE MCCAIN. I CAN'T POSSIBLY VOTE FOR SOMEONE INTELLIGENT YET BORROWING WORDS AND IDEAS FROM SOMEONE ELSE. YEAH… JUST WORDS….AND I DON'T BELIEVE OBAMA DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON AT THEIR CHURCH.
KEEP DEMORALIZING HILLARY AND MCCAIN WILL WIN IN NOVEMBER. I WOULD RATHER VOTE MCCAIN THAN OBAMA DUE TO THE FACT THAT HIS RESUME IS MUCH MORE WORTH IT.

I HOPE YOU AT CNN WILL POST THIS SINCE YOU LOVE OBAMA TO BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT!

my 2 cents on 50 cents   March 31st, 2008 3:18 pm ET

Some endorsements are better served unmentioned. This guy is not news worthy.

Keep the change next time CNN.

What an idiot. And what a failure! He's in a position to be such a role model for Black youths but he dropped the ball…talking about "he's lost interest". Way to go, stoopmo!! If you can't say anything that makes any sense, then keep your mouth shut.

Byron   March 31st, 2008 3:20 pm ET

Since this is a PRIMARY for a NATIONAL ELECTION, why does each state have the right to set the date for voting. As with the GENERAL ELECTION which is set as the first Tuesday in November "NATIONALLY", why are the individual states allowed to set their own dates for the PRIMARIES. This has created more havoc or at least as much as the George W. Bush Presidency.

Stacy Clarks,   March 31st, 2008 3:20 pm ET

WHO CARES!!! (mind you, I am an Obama supporter), but I will not be bragging about this "endorsement"

I do not care for someone who raps about money, cars, and hoes

Susan   March 31st, 2008 3:22 pm ET

It surprises me that people think it's ok to just "lose interest" in our countries presidential election. I wonder how many people that are paying attention have noticed that our votes don't actually count at all. It doesn't matter at all that Clinton or Obama won in what state. (The delegates and Super delegates can switch sides at will between Obama and Clinton) Our votes really don't count at all.
And back to the part of how Some people think it's ok to " lose interest", How can you hear someone speak 1 time and feel you know that person enough to support them in our presidential office? (and I don't care if it is Clinton, Obama, or McCain… ;) People need to research things before they make huge decisions like this. But to say "I've lost interest" truly shocks me because without the people in this country of ours that you enjoy so much, You wouldn't be Worth .50 cents without them. Wake up and take an interest in your country people!

The Game   March 31st, 2008 3:22 pm ET

Patrick, Lake Stevens, WA   March 31st, 2008 3:23 pm ET

Are you guys kidding? After reading his reasons why he now supports Obama, is Curtis, aka 50 cenrt, Jackson's support for either democratic candidate relevant news or just comic relief for CNN?

Can anyone translate?

Ok just kidding. But what kind of "news" is this he admitted he won't be voting.

Marc   March 31st, 2008 3:23 pm ET

"…I swear to God, I'm like, 'Yo, Obama!' …I'm Obama to the end now, baby!"

Believe it or not, this is why Obama has been doing so well. He's got some truly uninformed supporters who are attracted to him the way a young person is attracted to a rapper or rock star. Unfortunately, no matter how may celebrities that come out, it won't outnumber the amout of blue-collar and senior citizen voters that Hillary will take.

I am a Democrat and for Berry Obama followers to say I don't deserve to vote because I will not vote for Berry Obama if he should get the nomination, are the ones that need to get a reality check. McCain is not my choice but I will do nothing to help Berry Obama get in the White House. This is the First time I have been totally against someone. So if Berry is nominated I will vote for McCain to save the United States from total destruction he would bring.

Oh! The Irony   March 31st, 2008 3:25 pm ET

Why?

Why is this political news?
Why even post this?
Why would you care who 50 supports?
Why does 50's opinion matter when he's a convicted felon who can't vote?
Why not dedicate more coverage to Obama's double digit lead amidst the Wright controversy?

I'm a true hip-hop fan to the core. I also love politics, but in this case 50's opinon means nothing. CNN, please go find some real news.

SMARTEN UP!   March 31st, 2008 3:25 pm ET

Actually Eric, Malcolm X was NOT a racist. He changed his views after converting to real Islam, not the Nation of Islam. Youtube the speech he gave after coming back from Mecca, he acknowledges his mistakes.

In regards to 50, he is a moron. Why don't you concentrate on getting rid of your filthy, offensive lyrics, then talk about who you're going to vote for!! This is coming from a young woman who listens to rap with a message.

Hillary C   March 31st, 2008 3:25 pm ET

Well, that settles it. If 50 is backing OB, I will drop from the race.

jj   March 31st, 2008 3:28 pm ET

did anyone read WHY he switched. Because of the speach about racism. Again race is shoved down all of our throats this election. Enough, it's not going to stop. Obama's people brought it up and that is why they cheated, they pressure blacks to vote black to get changes for you,. heck with the white folk, they don't matter, just us. As far as the caucus's go, boy were they rigged. Just check with some of the Clinton people who went, especially if they were black. It's always been about race as far as Obama's camp is concerned, they used it in the beginning to get him the votes then. I hope people see him for what he is until we see diffferently in time. Time will tell.

Shaun Deshede   March 31st, 2008 3:29 pm ET

Susan   March 31st, 2008 3:30 pm ET

Why won't he vote? Because "America's not ready for a black president" or because he has "lost interest" . That part of his interview is just sad, that someone so privileged can't take the time to vote. I am an Obama supporter, and I hope he will educate himself about his duty as an American. We have a chance to elect a great president this year, Barack Obama.

Diane from Virginia   March 31st, 2008 3:34 pm ET

If Obama wins the Primary and is utlimately sitting in the White House, I feel sorry for those who stood up for him when they find out that his sermons don't mean anything and that he won't be standing up for him in the end!!!! His comment about Hillary "she can run as long as she wants" was arrogant on his part. That tone should tell you people something about him. AND….he would leave the church if Rev. Wright didn't step down! BULL……..he was there for twenty years and he is telling total untruths if he continues to say he hadn't heard that type of sermon before. Shoot……his wife admitted that "for the first time she was proud to me an American" No wonder she said that. And Obama is who you want for your President. You better think people or you will get what you didn't want!!!!!

Samer Kurdi   March 31st, 2008 3:36 pm ET

I'll tell you why this is news.
I was looking at Google news. I had a page with dozens if not hundreds of links, and I choose this story. It stole a click from a lot of competition, therefore I would say it's news.

Why did I click? Becasue as an Obama supporter I am interested in why so many people seem to be endorsing him or switching their endorsement to him, so why not look into 50 cent's change of heart?
Apparently, the change came after 50cents heard him speak. That's good news indeed.

Glenn; Bakersville, NC.   March 31st, 2008 3:36 pm ET

Man, you know it's bad when the G-unit "Ain't got yo' back" no more.

This is truly the sign that I was looking for,… NOT.

Is the political news really that slow today???

J.B.   March 31st, 2008 3:38 pm ET

I first thought, "Why should I care what 'Fiddy' has to say?!", but…

If artists, especially those in the hip-hop industry, made their politics and political allegiances better known maybe they'd get more respect. Rap is the #1 most bought music in the country - in the world - and these artists have the cache to get millions of young voters who feel a disinterest for the political landscape to actually get out there and make a noise- or at least go to the polls in November.

Disinterest is almost the entire reason why Republicans ever win.

Joe in Carmel, IN   March 31st, 2008 3:39 pm ET

You people are missing the point here. This is news because of the way Obama's speech on race changed someone's mind into switching sides. Like Bill Richardson, 50 Cent was emotionally moved. Obama's messages of hope and change is powerful and people are really starting to get inspired. Sorry Hillary….Game over.

What the heck were you producers/editors thinking putting this virtually unreadable garbage on here.

You may as well go quiz the Olson twins on on their political views given the lack of intellectual commentary and mental faculty displayed here.

Lin   March 31st, 2008 3:41 pm ET

Oh, what a high-profile endorsement! 50 cent!

Tomorrw's headline:

Huge endorsement for Barack Obama from Britney Spears' sister's boyfriend

TMF   March 31st, 2008 3:41 pm ET

How incredibly short-sighted you all are.

Believe it or not 50 Cent appeals to a diverse, albeit small, group of young individuals who struggle to find their place between youth culture and the more adult political world that continuously tells them they can't make a difference. 50 Cent isn't claiming to be a political afficionado or that his opinion even matters. He DOES, however, appeal to the persepctive of a large undervalued group of urban AND suburban youth who are unimpressed by the "adults" around them and CNN is completely in the right for reporting that perception represented by 50 Cent.

Quit your whining. Its 32 bytes of information that you could have skipped over.

A. KeShawn   March 31st, 2008 3:41 pm ET

I am both a Hip Hop fan and an Obama fan but I'd rather not waist a degree in journalism on entertaining a joke. Some people should study, meditate, decide, and stick to it. He makes himself seem ignorant. If he can make all of that money from sugar water than America is ready for any shadge of President!

Bond_Dallas   March 31st, 2008 3:41 pm ET

No, I don't care what 50cents thinks or endorses. He is street smart with his music and business, but he doesn't sway me to either candidate in anyway whatsoever. I like his music and G-Unit clothes. That's it! Beyond that, I think he is shallow in understanding the issues this country faces. I am way beyond race. This is about our country as whole,,, race will only be a factor in shallow minds like his. I like Obama because of what he is planning to do for this country and redeem it on the world stage and domestically unite us to move forward.

Maxie   March 31st, 2008 3:42 pm ET

Obama lies just as much and is a typical Chicago politician.

Look at his Kennedy family ties with his father in his sppech. This is the biggest whopper I have ever heard.
