Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar endorses Obama

 Klobuchar is backing Obama.

Klobuchar is backing Obama.

(CNN) - Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar announced Monday she's backing Barack Obama's bid for the White House.

"I am endorsing Barack Obama because he is a new kind of leader, he speaks with a different voice, he brings a new perspective and inspires a real excitement from the American people," Klobuchar said in a conference call with reporters. "He's able to dissolve the hard cynical edge that has dominated our politics under the Bush administration."

"Barack has inspired an enthusiasm and an idealism that we haven't seen in this country in a long time," she also said.

Klobuchar was elected to the Senate in 2006 - the first woman elected to the Senate from Minnesota.

"When I ran for the senate, I ran to bring change to Washington, not simply to become a woman senator. I am proud to be a woman in the Senate," Klobuchar also said. "My best friends are women in the Senate, but much like Senator Obama, I ran on a platform of change."

Score another touchdown for Obama! Yeah! Another Super-delegate for the Obama team. Ready to give up yet, Hillary??? Hmmm? Obama says you can still run if you want to, but we supporters still want you to cry "Mercy!" and leave the race. Time to go, my dear!

What truly amazes me is that Hillary is getting a free ride (because of all her ties to special interests including the one with the media) SHE IS A BAG FULL OF LIES - please look back at the years, the many many many years, the whole Clinton administration – for data points. Her Bosnia "misspeaking" is nothing compared to her whole tenure while they were in the White House. I know why she's getting the free ride, because we're all "staying positive" but please everyone, DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE CLINTONS again!

Looks like all the scared "RATES" are jumping ship, I think Hillary will pull this out, and then watch all these rates scramble trying to get back in.

Karen what are you talking about?
The notion that some how just because she is a women she should line up behind Hillary is ridiculous. When someone comes out and endorses Hillary despite the race being far from over, I don't see any of Hillary's supporters complaining that they haven't given Barack a change to finish the contest before they chose Hillary. This is American and superdelegate and anyone else can endorse and vote for who that please....If she should support Hillary just because she is a women then perhaps Hillary should only have endorsements from the women superdelegates and the men should fall in line for Obama because he is a man........see how ridiculous that sounds!
At any rate, if Hill Dog does win the nomination, which she can't legally at this point, I can't wait until the republicans cream her!!!! One name Peter Paul, you Clinton supporters just wait until April 24th......

    What's today's story about Obama's "godfather"?

    More troublesome relationships.

How many times can you profit from the relationship with a person of divisive, racist views and/or questionable morals, and still claim to be above the fray?

Yes, that is what Obama will bring the country – CHANGE.

What kind of CHANGE will he bring?

Well, he isn't going to elaborate on that – but check him out and you'll see the change the US will undergo a radical change and become a SOCIALIST state...

If you think that is good, just ask the USSR how that worked out – oh wait, you can't, IT'S NO LONGER AROUND!!!

  13. No longer a Hillary supporter

    Thank you Senator Klobuchar.
It beats me how anyone can continue to support Clinton after she "misspoke" so eloquently about dodging sniper fire in Bosnia.
Her lack of integrity is a serious flaw and she will never recapture my vote.

"I ran on a platform of change". Isn't that what all politiians do? I have heard this so many times it doesn't even mean anything anymore. Only the new voters or those with alzehiemers don't recall that this is what they all always say. Read between the lines. Don't be so gullible. Even the devil himself could convince people to give up their souls. The senators from Michigan have already given their souls up and sacrificed the people of Michigan for Barrack.

Hillary will never stop her attacks on Obama. Most of what the
voters have heard did not change their stance on Obama for President.
Hillary lies, threatens, and will do anything to win. Richardson knew!!!

The 28% of Clinton supporters that would vote for Mccain in November if Obama gets the nominee are not racist, as the media portrays them. However, they are IGNORANT

Clinton supporters keep trying to incriminate Obama, he has lied about or done in the past does not amount to the horrific things that Cruella devHILL has done! LOL! Lets look at the encyclopedia of scandals, lies, and conspiracies that surround Hillary and let us see you all try to argue 🙂

Would the Hillary–Bots please stop WHINNING and spend your time on another blog, or maybe donating to her campaign–SHE NEEDS YOU NOW!!!!! With every negative, unfair, and yes racist comment I read about Obama, it motivates me to make another donation to bring about REAL CHANGE.
And for the ones who won't vote for the Senator because she support Obama, WHO CARES-=Sound a little like the Big Spenders that threatened Sen. Pelosi when she spoke out about the superdelegates, That's the OLD Politics way-off with the past, in with the NEW.

FYI: ELECTORAL COLLEGE does not count until the general election people. Stop making up new ways to count votes. Electoral college would include Repub votes and we can't do that just yet. Hillary (and her supporters keep coming up with way to win.

Orginally it's a delegate race, but Hillary was hoping for populate vote. Now that that's tanked now we talking about ELECTORAL college. Gimme a break!!

Obama has played the race issue until I'm sick of it. Obama just admit that you lied about never hearing anything that bad. I know your supporters think that you are telling the truth that's because they are STUPID!!!! You have lied over and over again. You would be the one person that would destroy the white house image. Your wife is only proud of American now what a joke. Both and hear BOTH of you do NOT like whites but need their votes to get in office. If they don't wake up they will be crying buckets after this saying I can't believe I voted for him. Heck people are already saying that. So Obama the only reason that you don't want to count Florida and Michigan [ I know you keep whining that you weren't on the Michigan] [ BY YOUR CHOISE] that it wouldn't be fair lol lol. GROW UP!!!!! What is not fair is for the votes there to NOT be counted. But admit it you are running scared. You don't want them to be counted because you would be behind. LOSER LOSER!!!! I don't like you or trust you. Jean
