This is nonsense! It is just more pressure from the subtle little Obama media machine and these biased polls to pressure Hillary into ending her campaign. THEY ARE AFRAID OF HILLARY'S TENACITY!!! This is why she is the one to beat McCain. As I have always said, the republican machine will eat Obama alive! The Clintons are the only democrats that have taken all of the "BS" that the republicans have thrown at them and are still standing. That is why the republican party is subtly behind the media storm to stop Hillary.

I believe that Obama would be easier to beat than Cliinton in the election.

First: his lack of experience will hurt him, people are afraid for their jobs and their safety, they are going to want to see someone with more experience.

Second: If Obama and his supporters think that the Clinton campaign has been tough on him; wait until the Repbulicians start on him. The Repbulicians will rip him apart.

Third: I have watched all the debates and I beleive that in a debate with McCain Obama will not stand a chance.

Fourth: Obama and his supporters appear to have forgotten about the
electoral votes; as we learned in the last election; ITS THE ELECTROAL VOTES NOT POPULAR VOTES. I for one am unsure that Obama can win enough votes in states like California and Florida to win the electroal vote. (check the number of electroal votes that each state has)

Last: I don't believe that Obama is different than most people, we all have things that we would perfer stay private, things like Rev. Wright and the purchase of his home in Chicago are only the tip of the iceburg. The Republicians can take a case of jay-walking and make it look like a national threat, I don't beleive that Obama can stand up against this.

Clinton however has had many years of having her every move watched and having to defend herself.

I agree Obama will make a better President. Hillary Clinton is truly laughable, she tell eveyone that she the most transparant person in this race for the presidency yet she still have not showed the American people her taxes or said where Bill Clinton recieved all his millions from!

What are they hidding and when will she pay her bills?

What story will she tell us next?

I think this is just reverse psychology. Hillary Clinton is the OBVIOUS toughest candidate for the Republicans to beat. John McCain cannot compare to her on economics, the most important issue to Americans at this time. He also cannot beat her on experience and overall skill. I think the Republican are saying Hillary would be easier to beat because they are so afraid that they will have to face her in November. There is no way John McCain will be able to win in the high delegate blue states that Hillary Clinton has even beat Obama in. Even panel members on CNN said today that Obama has no chance of winning the states he's won in the primaries because they will be won by the Republican.

I agree with some points Bill made. I too am from the South, and I am an Obama supporter. At one time, I did think it was going to be difficult for him to win because of the closeted and open racism; however, my hope has been renewed. I think it is time we started walking the walk and not just talking the talk in America. If race is less of an issue in America in 2008 Obama will win, but if we are the same bigots he will not.

I do think the experience thing is overrated, can anyone tell me what course you take or book you read to be a good President? Being a good President is about being an inspiring leader first. Presidents are only as good as his/her advisors, and the team that he/she builds for support. I think you are right on point about Hillary sinking him so she can run in 2012. She has proven herself as the selfish you know what everyone thought her to be.

For all you Democrats out there who are thinking of registering a protest vote for John McCain if your candidate does not get the nomination (especially you women out there) remember, there will likely be two Supreme Court vacancies to filled by the next president that are currently held by moderate to progressive Justices. Now do you want the conservatives in the republican party to place two Supreme Court Justices FOR LIFE? Think about what that means to a woman's right to choose. You can kiss Roe v. Wade goodbye. And you can bet that personal civil rights will also be a thing of the past. So, just a little food for thought before you cast your tantrum vote.

Based on the primaries so far it's pretty obvious Clinton has a much better chance of beating McCain. These polls are based on Obama's popularity right now, but once the Republican attack monster shows its ugly face, Obama's will drop like a rock. This is especially true considering the mostly positive media coverage Obama has been getting.

The true moderate and conservative democrats will not vote for Obama. He will depend on the independent crossovers and young college students to get elected president. This will not be enough to beat McCain. The party democrats will do write ins or vote for another candidate if he is nominee. The DNC doesn;t realize how mad some voters are about how they have treated Mrs. Clinton and have been pushing Obama down their throats. They are placing the democratic parties hopes on a novice. Leave it to the democrats again to shoot ourselves in the foot. the reason the republicans beat the democrats so much is because the word loyalty means something. The way the democrats have turned on Hillary is been disgusting.

I can not wait for Obama to start talking McCain in circles. The GOP is running a completer and utter puppet against a real movement.

McCain was always my favorite Republican, but now he has sucked up to the failed policies of the worst administration of all time.

More of the same is over. The debate will turn to the war and economy and Obama dominates both. He has created jobs!

McCain is old school, but way too old. His fear tactics and rhetoric on the war is old too. No more fear!

Independent for Obama.

how many lies does she have to tell to show that she is not an honest person? as for Mccain-his admission that the economy is not something he knows much about will come back to haunt him-as will the fact that he does not know the difference between the shia and the sunnis

. . .Bill Brown I disagree. People in your native south may not vote
for a black man, but seeing that he's also white, maybe they will vote

wright flap because lies don't stick. Lastly, according to the polls,
there are many people who will for a SMART man.

Duh, I thought everyone knew that already. Hilary is too dirty to even stand next to McSame. Let's see what happens when her tax returns are released. How did she and Bill go from being broke to having a net worht of close to $100 million in 7 years? It sounds like they are in the Saudi's pockets again.

Hillary,

You little run was cute, but the parade is over and it is time to take your float back to New York where you can retire it!

I hear Obama people saying if Clinton wins the nomination, then I'm voting for McCain and visa versa. WOW! So if you don't win the game, you'll take your ball home? How childish. Whoever wins the Demo nomination, that's who I'm voting for in the Presidential election. Who wants another "Bush" for President. Should he win, then those who voted for him because their candidate wasn't the Demo elected do not complain about Iraq or gas prices or economy because you voted for McCain!!

You have to be kidding me! Obama can barely stand a female candidate. He is pushed in front by all his leftist allies, and is playing the race card and the cool card. But how can you imagine that serious Americans who support now Clinton will ever vote for this clown?

Obama is the next president of America. there is no doubt. some people are conservative and may not vote for him but that will be offset by young voters. so let conservative vote for Mccain. No problem. once Hillary and Bill will campaign for Obama in general election, everythng will be fine.

I think (like all you political pundits ever listen, but anyhoo!) that the R's don't know how to deal with someone like Obama. Kerry was kind of wet blanket. Hillary already has half the nation against her when it comes to likeability. McCain is very old.

It's a new ballgame with Obama. I will be fair in say that no matter what, Clinton or Obama, the R's have a hard fight ahead because they have made a lot of enemies over the last 8 years and America will come out against them in November.

Can someone explain how in hell John McCain got to be the nominee for president? Are americans walking around with their heads where the sun does not shine? Haven't we had enough of (Bush or Clinton) for one lifetime? We need to get every politician out of Washington and start over. NEVER RE-ELECT ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my third time attempting to post information on statistics and how these polls are deliberately set up in such a way to present Obama as doing much better than he actually is....but, of course, it never posts. Wonder why that's happening...........

Suffice it to say that the "need" for these falsified polls is being done for obvious reasons......Obama supporters are trying to present him as a much better candidate than he really is. If the democratic party wants to put Obama up against McCain, go ahead, but he will lose and you will have no one to blame but yourselves. You're so thirsty for power that you can't see beyond your own feelings of entitlement to the presidency. Just because you're black doesn't mean you are "entitled" to the nomination for the presidency.

I agree with the poll...and i think we should now (all) stop acting like clinton is going to win the nomination. Because as much as i would have liked her to win, i think there are some realities to be faced now. Donna brazille (DNC member and uncommited superdelegate) said yesterday that the only way that Hillary has a shot at the nomination (even if she miraculously won the 10 remaining states) it's if she took her case to the credentials committee to have the MI and FL delegates sat at the convention the way they voted in January regardless of whether Obama's name was on the ballot or not. Now, how the credentials committee works, is that the DNC elects 25 members to it and the remaining members are selected from the candidates-in that, each candidate gets 3 delegates for every state he or She has won. (and as we know, obama has 30 states to hillary's 14 so far, and that will shift the balance when it comes to voting on this issue on the floor of the convention)...The reality of this whole thing is so annoying to her that she can only hope the superdelegates will turn this around on a 2:3 ratio to her advantage (trashing the will of the people)... or, she can "fight for the will of the people" of MI and FL and lose the superdelegates when they in turn vote based "on the will of the people" because lets face it; she cant get ahead in the delegate count.

. . . .I like Hillary, I just think that she has too much baggage from
the Clinton years in the white house to be effective against the republican machine. Bill's impeachment scandal alone
will give the republicans enough amunition to sink her. Not to mention
her Bosnia tale. John McCain will charge her with making a mockery
of the servicemen who dodged real bullets. Obama survived the
Wright story because it wasn't the truth, therefore it didn't stick. There
is plenty of truth to the Clintons, therefore the republicans would have
an easier time disarming Hillary.

Obama would be an easy Candidate for McCain because if he wins the Nomination then a lot backing Hillary will shift party's why! Obama has no Viable Fix on the Economy and is lacking the leadership ability during a war and here lately has become a race relations candidate after saying that its not about race! McCain will Take the Presidency! Hillary scares McCain and with good Cause!

Both Clinton and McCain are weak candidates.

Clinton says the vote to authorize the war in Iraq was a vote for peace.
McCain doesn't know the difference between Sunni and Shiite.

McCain says he doesn't understand economics.
Clinton says she doesn't understand anything Alan Greenspan says, but still thinks he knows what he's talking about.

Clinton is far weaker though. Her '35 years of experience' is so nonsensical. Her involvement in S-CHIP, in the Ireland peace process, and her battle experience in Bosnia is so exaggerated it is laughable.

I am sad that major news organizations use polls like this one (1005 people!) as a reliable sampling of the nation at large. Please.

But, since I'm here - Obama '08!

Hillary has the strength and power to win and bounce McCain for a loop.
Can't wait for the knock out.
No No No Obama. He talks the talk but can't walk the walk only out

I would not want Hillary to be a vice-JANITOR at the White House, not to mention President of VP. She sucks at leadership SO badly, she should go back and take Political Science 101, and even that won't help.

Who are these people that get polled? Do these people seriously think that the Republicans will not pull out all the stops to crush Obama.

Of course Obama would be tougher on the Republicans; He doesn't 'tear up" as easily as Hillary. And he has proven he can "take the heat" when confronted with an issue.

My gut is telling me not to trust the polls. The republicans are going after the fresh meat. Think about it, we have heard all the trash on the Clintons. I just hope Obama doesn't have hidden trash in his can.
