McCain takes shots at Letterman

Watch John McCain take jabs at David Letterman

(CNN) - Republican John McCain gave David Letterman a taste of his own medicine Tuesday night.

The late night talk show host often pokes fun at the 71-year-old senator because of his age. But McCain interrupted Letterman's monologue to get in a few shots of his own.

You think that stuff's pretty funny, don't you?" McCain told Letterman: "Well, you look like a
guy whose laptop would be seized by the authorities."

It's McCain's temper and he's so very sensitive about his (old) age. It's going to be enjoyable to watch this man lose his temper more and more during the course of the campaign.

Wow. McCain's delivery of jokes was really contrived.

Did anyone notice how Letterman avoided eye contact with him throughout the entire segment?

So what if Barack Obama is a virtually unknown, inexperienced, untested, and unproven candidate with questionable judgment? What's the worst that could happen?

This shows the difference between the two parties right now in the race! McCain can go out and get recognized on the lighter side while the democratic nominees are still slugging it out bringing negative publicity to themselves. I think we can blame the Clintons for this. They just brought this fight into the gutter too many times.

There is nothing funny about McCain, the man is a danger not only to the US but the rest of the world.

He has no clue about the world around him, he really doesn't. After the comments he has made in the past few weeks, he really really scares me.

Before you think of voting for him, please take a look at what he is saying, it is something only an insane man would say.

I want to look at the back of McCains Coat... I hear there is a HOLE in it so the puppetmasters who run Bush can switch to him easier if he wins by some miracle.

McCain can laugh because he knows if Obama gets the nomination the GOP attack machine will tear Obama apart.

Obama supporters are so in love with Obama that hate for him is just the flipside of the emotional coin and the GOP knows this well.

All the GOP has to do is reveal the numerous things that Hillary's camp has not on Obama and the coin will flip in favor of McCain.

McCain + Humor = awkward combination

McCain + Presidency = deadly combination

McCain + Retirement = best possible combination

McCain has a horribly unfunny sense of humor... Maybe he should watch a few In Living Color or Mad TV reruns for some help.

I watched the show last night I was happy because Mc Cain find some one who is close to his age to have some kind of fun. He was visiting his childhood Area may be he would have remember his sweet 16 age so we should not bother him

The one everyone should really be afraid of is Obama. If his speaches can be believed, highly unlikely, he would pull out of Iraq asap. What, he doesn't expect a power vacuum after we leave?

    Talk about no clue!

McCain is not insane. McCain is not too old. McCain is a good guy. The only thing wrong with him is he is dead wrong on his views of what is right and what is wrong for America.

McCain is trying too hard to fight his age. He is allowing the media to portray his age as a negative aspect. Instead, McCain should keep reminding everyone that his age is a positive factor in the sense of his vast experience in life and politics.

i'm not a McCain backer, but i must admit, i was very amused last night when i watched this and thought he was a good sport to show up, taking the beating from letterman and jab back at thim. good for him for showing a lighter side.

but then again, he can afford to do it right now.

Four men in Orlando were charged with a hate crime after they pummeled a 62-year-old woman and her two mentally-challenged companions at a public park after they didn’t pay a “fee” for being white, police said.
