New Clinton red phone ad airing in Pennsylvania

A New Clinton ad is similar to “Children,” a spot that aired last month.
A New Clinton ad is similar to “Children,” a spot that aired last month.

Hillary Clinton's campaign has gone live in Pennsylvania with a new ad that features sleeping children, and a 3 a.m. crisis call - but this time, the spot takes aim at John McCain. The 30-second spot - "Ringing" - highlights Clinton's "readiness to be steward of the economy on Day One."

On a conference call with reporters, spokesman Howard Wolfson said that Clinton had not faced any economic crises before, but that she possessed "a rich and deep understanding of complex problems" that gave her the tools to deal with them.

Hillary For President
“Ringing"
TV :30

Announcer: It’s 3 am, and your children are safe and asleep.

But there’s a phone ringing in the White House and this time the crisis is economic.
Home foreclosures mounting, markets teetering.

John McCain just said the government shouldn’t take any real action on the housing crisis, he’d let the phone keep ringing.

Hillary Clinton has a plan to protect our homes, create jobs.

It’s 3 am, time for a president who’s ready.

Hillary Clinton: I’m Hillary Clinton and I approve this message.

Looks like billary gets her "new" advertising at the same store that provides her with her "new" politics. Same old same old. At least, she's recycling something.

Now, if she REALLY wanted to hit McClown, she'd say the phone kept ringing because the old codger just slept through it.

Money must be tight if she can't afford to drum up a new ad... and this one doesn't make too much sense... 3am phone call about an economic crisis? Lame...

Excellent work Hillary!! It's time we go after the real opponent here. No need to waste time on an unelectable candidate. Focus on the Republican presumptive nominee!

Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me! This is what everyone should STOP to think about before they cast their vote for Hillary on the 22nd. In Ohio they woke up the day after the primary to the White House papers proving that she lied about her NAFTA position after all....I'm just glad the red phone is ringing again so this time everyone wakes up!

  15. An Agnostic Democrat

She can't even tell the truth when she's "sleep deprived" or manage the funds for her campaign. She's simply untrustworthy and irresponsible.

What does she care about children being safe?? She took her own daughter into the line of "sniper fire"!! I won't give her the chance to exercise more bad judgment. She should bow out because there's nothing graceful about her.

What exactly would she plan on doing? Drafting a bill to help the economy in a matter of seconds, running over to the House of Representatives, and waiting 6 hours for them to arrive so they could start debating it?

ROTFL Mark this comment from you had me absolutely in STITCHES!!! Kudos dude...I agree with you 110%!!!

Is this advertisement serious? She can't even manage the economics of her campaign, sheesh.

Not only would I vote for McBush over Hillary, but I would maximize my campaign contribution to him for the good of the country.

I can't believe she is talking economy when over 700 vendors have not been paid for the services her campaign racked up and that she has not paid the health insurance for her campaign workers for the past 2 months! SHAME ON YOU HILLARY CLINTON!!!!

Hillary seems to have an obsessive-compulsive disorder involving concerns about receiving disturbing phone calls at 3:00 A.M. ... Does anyone have any idea why she might suffer from this disorder? – How about you, Monica? Any idea?

Are these Obama supporters have any other profession, are they participating in the country's economy welfare by working their butt off during the day. it looks like they are always hooked onto CNN and just feeding comments.
I was an independent Obama supporter uptil now, but this attitude by Obama people in such a overwhelming way os wearing me out!!

"But there’s a phone ringing in the White House and this time the crisis is economic.
    Home foreclosures mounting, markets teetering..."

And the socialist Billary has the solution....BIG GOVERNMENT TO THE RESCUE

Let the federal government spend billions to bail out irresponsible borrowers....sheer brilliance!

That's the liberal way....reward laziness and irresponsibility with a handout.....YOUR DEMOCRATIC PARTY!

THE REASON HILLARY'S PHONE IS RINGING AT 3am IS BECAUSE SHE STEWARDED THE U.S. ECONOMY THE SAME WAY SHE HAS RUN HER CAMPAIGN AND NOW THE MARKETS ARE CRASHING AND THE UNITED STATES IS GOING BANKRUPT....THEY ARE ASKING HER TO PONY UP $5 MILLION OF HER OWN MONEY TO HELP OUT....

  25. Anyone but Obamination

Obamas not sure where he stands on the Olympics in China? Maybe he can wait and see how he would have stood, once it plays out. He better wait and see where the other candidates stand on the issue. He never can answer on his own.
