Why is it that when someone goes against the Clinton machine, they have to give a reason. The last time I checked, this was America; not N. Korea, so we have a right to change. It is not about friendship in this case, it is about who will be the better candidate to run a country. I don't know about anyone else but that is a pretty talll order to fill so the heck with friends, who will be better at running the country!!!

Richardson is a weasel. He made a political calculation and signed up with the team he thinks will win. So what else is new? He's a politician first and a human being last. No honor, no honesty, no loyalty, no gratitude and – in this case – no political smarts.

It is likely that Obama will be the Democratic Party nominee. If he does become the nominee, he will lose between 40 and 45 states in November. It will be hilarious to watch Richardson and all the other rats desert the ship when that happens.

    Lou,
Howard dean along with bii richardson should both stay off the air ways with their smoke. Mr obama is so unsure of himself that he won't even allow a revote for the pepole in the states that were cheated. They had no part in the decesion to move up the date. Barack should join hillary and allow the revote in those states.I really belive he knows if they agree he loses those votes. I live in Illinois and have news for mr obama once whom would have voted for him will not anylonger. he was suppose to be for change but as we see he is playing the same old game.

Ya know just my opinion but – the more I read about the Politicians on this blog, the more I am convinced that there isn't one of them with the degree of intelligence, capability or Politcal prowness to govern America.

They are sounding more like High School Jocks vying for Prom King and Queen every day!

And Bill, it's time to stand back and keep quiet. Even if it's a reported claim, why on earth would you make such a statement, if you did? And why would you even give Bill Richardson a second look as a Hillary supporter? I don't think there are many standing in the Richardson line with their hands up yelling pick me, pick me !

In a time where people are getting sick of the politics of "You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" I am surprised there are so many Clinton supporters calling Richardson a traitor.

Is that the country we want to live in?

Where people affiliate themselves with someone, or support someone because they owe him a favor.

People should be able to endorse whomever they want... I understand the Clintons being hurt that Richardson endorsed Obama, but it is way out of line to say he OWED the endorsement to the Clintons.

How about getting your campaign bills paid by Obama? You are a Judas, a term given to all turn coats. This has nothing to do with Jesus, it is something you call a back stabber in modern times. Governor-Bill Richardson,I think it would be appropriate if you moved away from constantly trying to convince the whole USA-what you did and what you did not tell Bill Clinton with regards to not endorsing Hillary. That is water under the bridge.Concentrate on what is good for New Mexicans. Not everyone can become a President. You voted your concience and has to live with it.The ping pong politics does not help.

Once again the Clintons are distorting the truth because the truth hurts. Bill's "I heard it five times" is equivalent to Hillary's being under sniper fire as she landed in Bosnia. I must admit I do believe Richardson in this. It has in the past been a thing with the Clintons to discredit anyone that "turned" their back on them or went against them. His little temper tantrum in California only goes to show their frustration and desperation with being behind in the race. The Clintons are not use to loosing as is obvisous with their continued attempts to blame all that is wrong or going wrong on others.

Yeah He claims he's the Clinton's friend and that he is very loyal to them, but don't friends who are loyal support there friends. I left my comment. Where is it!

Richardson is a little man with a big ego. He endorsed Obama because he felt Hillary was not giving him enough attention - not because she wasn't the best candidate.

Actions speak louder than words - and Hillary is a woman of action. Obama is going to be the democratic version of George Bush. If you place an incompetent person in the presidency, you will get an incompent President . Obama will be the Democratic version of the Comedy of Errors, just like George is the Republican version.

But I also think he has a right, under our Constitution to pick anyone he wants. Why is Clinton so bent out of shape over Richardson? Of course, people wil believe Richardson. To some people, the Clintons never tell the truth....even when they do. My guess is that Richardson DID agree he would endorse Clinton, but decided to swing the other way when Obama agreed to give him a coveted position.

It had nothing to do with her campaign getting "nasty" because Obama's campaign has done the same stuff....and Richardson wasn't terribly impressed with Obama when he himself was running for president. Something smells fishy......

Bill Richardson owes the Clintons nothing, nada, zip, certainly not his loyalty. He was appointed to two jobs in B Clinton's administration and did what was expected to do and did those jobs well. When Clinton left the White House, so did Richardson. Oh puhleeezzzzz!! Traitor? Weasel? Thats like saying you guys are morons. His state barely went for HRC. SO WHAT if he worked for them. By that logic no one should ever venture to be an entrepreneur of any sort 'cause they "owe somebody" for the skills they have learned and knowledge they have gained. Good luck working for someone else your whole life! I guess you are morons.

This is 1968 all over again. Nixon - I mean McCain - will win by a landslide and Richardson will be eating crow. Good way to burn your bridges, Bill.

Richardson is a disgusting excuse for a human. He is out for one thing only - his own career - just as any other politician is. Richardson is lying - he did say he would endorse Clinton, he did play games with the press and the candidates in order to have power and stay in the public eye. No one needs you Richarson - you are pathetic - Obama doesn't need you and neither does Clinton or the country - so keep your slimy self out of everyone's way.

Richardson is an conniving opportunist....looks to him like Obama might be winning the nomination so he sucks up to Obama to see what he can get out of it.....like maybe the vice-presidency. Give it up, Richardson.....if BHO gets the nomination he'll probably choose that unknown woman from Kansas to run with him, just to try to vaccuum in Hillary's supporters.

Richardson's also a traitor.....and that has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with loyalty to those who lifted you up and took care of you.....and continued to do so.

Worse....Richardson looks and sounds like the Gerber baby, but with a black beard and mustache.

Say no to the "Audacity of Hype!"

Just because a government official endorses a candidate does not mean that it is for the best interest of the people. It can also be political move to keep their jobs in the future or receive favors from the candidates.

Bill Clinton is a sheer liar....Americans 're tired of him and his double face wife. I am optimistic the world are watching this family with disguise and dismay.

Bill Richardson made the right choice-he does'nt own Clintons anything.; he serves his country and serves it good and honorable...

Bill Richardson is a thinking man. He thought, weighed the measure and decided to endorse Obama. He gave his reasoning thought. Obviously, the Clintons are really upset. Hmmmm. I wonder why?
Bill Richardson has done a lot for NM and, yeah, he is a politician but he knows about people and their needs..all kinds of colors of people.

  182. Good for Richardson

He is showing us what the Clintons are really about. They are into the "you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours" Politics. If Hillary wins this what we can expect, a President who will make deals behind close doors instead of with the best interest of the people in mind.

It is this kind of Clinton sense of entitlement that disturbs fair-minded Democrats: the Clintons are primarily political animals, devoid of primafacia foundational Democratic ethos. Hillary your political career is through, You and Bill have shown the American people just what kind of people you are really like.
I doubt if you will ever be elected to any kind of office ever again.

How much time has Richardson spent being governor in his state? Who's paying his way?

That sounds like retaliation–endorsing Obama because a campaign got nasty?

It sounds manipulative, too, which puts him in the same corner as Daddy O.

I would call it betrayal, too.

Actually, Bill Clinton never said he promised to endorse Hillary... He said that Richardson promised not to endorse anyone.....

How about CNN get the facts straight.

Don't worry Bill Clinton, from what the hispanic community has said, they will not support Obama and didn't like what Richardson did. Besides, just before endorsing Obama, he changed his look to make himself look more hispanic. – What a joke

All Bill Clinton can claim credit for is the fact that he recognized a person worthy of a chance. Nothing more, nothing less....Bill Richardson did what Bill and Hillary Clinton are incapable of doing–putting America before themselves.

As the Arkansas Bar and the federal court in Little Rock already know, the fact that Bill Clinton is a liar is very old news.

The Clintons are acting like spoiled brats with big egos and a strong sense of entitlement. Bill Richardson chose to support the grown-up – Obama!

if hillary clinton wins the popular vote and the swing states have her beating mccain, and delegates change their minds and vote for clinton, than you would go along with the delegates voting for hillary. i think not. you obama supporters are a work of art.

I have lost respect for Bill Richardson due to his handling of his endorsement. Not only is he "loyalty challenged," his rationale for endorsing Obama seems immature and shallow.

    Wise choice, Bill Richardson!

Like you, we have had enough of the Clintons!

Obama is the best candidate for the US President.

I would have posted sooner but I had to avoid the sniper fire. LOL!!

Leave Richardson a alone, what has he done to you? kicked your dog or cat? stole your car? slept with your spouse? No. So what if he endorsed Obama. This has nothing to with price of potatoes in China?

If you vote for McCain because you don't like the one of the other candidates then please don't stick us with that clown and his selections to the supreme court.

The most troubling aspect of all this is the Clintons sense of entitlement. They will do and say whatever is necessary to get back in that White House…. scary.

Thank you Gov. Richardson for standing up for the rest of us.

Bill Richardson is a clown, a back stabber, betrayer and cunning guy.
Don't worry, he will realize what did he do wrong. Obama will never make nominee, because Dems know Obama will not win at General Election. Dems had twice failure, this time they will not make another mistake. They know Hillary is the only person can beat McCain easily.
Pay attention Pennsylvania 22 April Election, next Indiana, NC, WV, KY,OR. MT and SD, I can't wait. Go Hillary, you are the CHAMPION.

But did Hillary Clinton really 'win' New Mexico? Seems I read articles about possible fraud–vote boxes going home w/election officials then counted the next day?

Googled 2008 Primary Fraud and found links to articles about primary fraud in several other states, too!
