(CNN) – Wyoming Governor Dave Freudenthal is backing Barack Obama's White House bid, the Illinois senator's campaign said Wednesday.

"Senator Obama is the Democratic candidate with the openness, honesty and skill to end this vicious cycle of business as usual," Freudenthal said in a statement released by the campaign.

Obama won the Wyoming Democratic caucus on March 8 with 61 percent of the vote.

I can't see why anyone would vote for Obama. He lies and isdeceiving the people.

Tim, Seattle WA   April 2nd, 2008 3:52 pm ET

Another endorsement from a Super, the gap in Pennsylvania beginning to close…..Obama wins Texas after all by 5 delagates, Obama ahead in delagate-rich North Carolina, 2 weeks away from when Hillary said those tax returns will be released and 3 more weeks for Obama to campaign across Pennsylvania. The pressure is on big time for Billary…tick…tick…tick..
her time (and her money) are running out. Anythiong less than a 10% victory and it will be impossible to overtake Obama.

Bring on the tax returns and the library donors, Hillary, let the voters of Pennsyvania experience transprency from you for a change.

Unshrub   April 2nd, 2008 3:48 pm ET

If the Clinton supporters weren’t so cocky I would almost feel sorry for them.

Mary   April 2nd, 2008 3:35 pm ET

last night I was watching the BBC and they are hoping for OBAMA to win. They said, he is refreshing and would provide the change on how the world looks at America.

That is, presently, it seems to be the norm and acceptable for others to hate the USA ……. but if we vote for Obama, that would change dramatically.

This was said by the BBC!!!

Mike   April 2nd, 2008 3:32 pm ET

Another paid politician for Obama sponsored by General Dynamics, Big Pharma that would like to remind the viewers;

"We know your psychology and we have a puppet you can believe in."

Why?   April 2nd, 2008 3:21 pm ET

What is this about honesty? Am I the ONLY person that thinks Obama has this super human ability to stretch the truth without being called a liar???? I'm just confused. I wouldn't call him honest. What angle are these super dels coming from? I don't get it?? Aren't these people supposed to know something about politics.

Jason   April 2nd, 2008 3:15 pm ET

At this point people who announce their support for Obama are just panderers to him because they know he'll get the nomination and they want as much privilege from him as possible.

If they all truly believed in Obama, why did they not come out to support him months ago? All the obamamorons are getting excited over nothing.

Go Hillary   April 2nd, 2008 3:15 pm ET

Big Deal –

Jim   April 2nd, 2008 3:14 pm ET

Democrats really have a pair to draw from, one a common criminal right behind her ex-President husband and another who nobody know anything about except for a well hidden agenda. One needs to go no further than Jeremiah A. Wright or wonder why Michelle's (Robinson) Obama's University of Princeton thesis, "Racial Divide" has been sealed! The campaign trail is like pitting Bonnie Parker against Thulsa Doom.

David Ferdi, Brooklyn New York   April 2nd, 2008 3:09 pm ET

I am empathetic at this point with Hillary supporters.
If you guys are truly democrats, and have seen enough of this war, secret back room deals, lack of transparancy, lies, with the republican party join us.
We support Obama, the front runner representing the democratic party.
We Welcome You.
God bless America

Great News for Obama!

We really need those Superdelegates to come over to OBAMA camp and start uniting this party before it's too late.

Republicans are on vacation……..have too many time on their hands
to play with against the democratic party!

What happens when blood is in the water…? Shark attacks!

Senator Clinton needs to call it quits for the good of the party, rather than pursing personal ambition.

We are tired of the Bush and the Clinton administration, they are not the only group of people who are qualify for the job of President!

America lets choose someone different this time. Yes… we can do it!

Here comes the Clintionians to downplay yet another endorsement.

Jim Trumbly   April 2nd, 2008 2:35 pm ET

I would like someone to explain to me this entire issue of “Disenfranchising” voters. According to the Clinton camp, the people of Florida and Michigan will be “disenfranchised” their delegates are not seated and their voices are not heard. Okay, I understand that part of the argument, that we in America believe that people have a right to vote and the results of that vote should be binding and absolute.
What I don’t understand is the second part of the discussion, and that is regarding the role of the superdelegates. If you agree with the above stated argument, then how can you argue that the superdelegates should OVERTURN and IGNORE those same voices and wills of the voters of the entire nation? Taking both sides of this argument seems like hypocrisy to me. If the will of the votes is supreme, then you cannot then argue the point that the superdelegates should overturn that same will of the voters.

richj   April 2nd, 2008 2:34 pm ET

WOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!
The Governor of a state with a population of three! Way to go! His endorsement will certainly get at least three votes.

Anyone but Obamination   April 2nd, 2008 2:33 pm ET

Never heard of him, I just hope he only gets less then 9000 votes for re-election, that is how many in Wyoming counted in the whole state. Caucuses should be out-lawed….

Lee From Treasure Island Florida   April 2nd, 2008 2:32 pm ET

I under estimated this…I stated one or two a week till NC, but this is 4 in a weeks time. Casey, Freudenthal, Hamilton and Klobuchar. Bye, Bye Clintons…get ready to hear the fat lady sing.
But wait…we can still let Penn, NC, Indiana, .Dakota, West Virgina, Kentucy,Oregon, PuertoRico, Montana, Guam….
It's her Dime.

Don't cry and gues what you can vote for McCain rather than Hillary. You should all be registered Republicans. Ha ha………………………………
Go Hillary in 2008. Youo will get my vote. Listen to talk radio. Yhey are blasting Obama as a phoney and his blog supporters as helping this message get out. So you didi it to yourselves. Hiddie Ho!

Michael   April 2nd, 2008 2:30 pm ET

Yet another endorsement that the Clintons will say does not matter.

Sage Bill   April 2nd, 2008 2:29 pm ET

Another loser from yet another inconsequential state. The fulcrum of national elections is the combined outcome of Ohio, Florida,Pennsylvania, Texas and California. And, by the way, white voters do matter. Thus, an Obama nomination is certain doom for the Democrats in November.

Stephen   April 2nd, 2008 2:29 pm ET

The endorsements just keep coming. Talk about momentum! When did the last new endorsement for Hillary take place?

Nando, Florida   April 2nd, 2008 2:29 pm ET

Didn't you get Hillary's memo? Obama's cousin Cheney has Wyoming rigged for Obama…uh

Didn't you get Hillary's memo? Wyoming's a red state, Obama'll never win it…uh

Give her time, she'll think of something else.

MD   April 2nd, 2008 2:24 pm ET

I am glad to see more and more superdelegates are coming out in favor of Obama. I think more than anything else, this will help Clinton make her mind to quit the race she cannot possibly win as soon as possible.

Obama needs time to not only plan for battling McCain in November, but he also needs time to heal the wounds Clinton has opened since the beginning of this campaign.

William   April 2nd, 2008 2:24 pm ET

Oh wow, another meaningless endorsement from an official in a state that Obama has no chance of winning in November.

No you can't.

Brian G, Sugar Land, TX   April 2nd, 2008 2:19 pm ET

Good news. Sure hope Pennsylvania goes well for Obama. Only by losing the next few primaries will Hillary finally get the message.

LaKay   April 2nd, 2008 2:18 pm ET

I think the Superdelegates plan to endorse Obama one day at a time until the Pennsylvania primary…just so his name stays in the media and psychologically destroy Clinton's ambitions. They can't come at her all at once, she might do something stupid! Like run as an Independent! She will stop at nothing!

Go Obama!

James McBride   April 2nd, 2008 2:18 pm ET

Wyoming - the first state to give women the right to vote. Wyoming - a state which appears more color-blind than Pennsylvania, birthplace of our federal government. Way to go, Wyoming!!!

He stands up for what he believes in, fights for the rights of ALL OF US, and is not afraid to work against all odds. Any time adversity comes his way, he sets the record straight, unites us as a country, keeps us on track to finally change the way we operate as a whole, and will finally give us a voice. That's what you call a true leader!

DIVIDED WE "FAIL", UNITED WE STAND! OBAMA '08 : )

These deligates are looking at the big picture, and making their own choices. This party is slowly comming together for the good of not only the party, but of the people as well. Obama is clearly looked upon as a great leader , someone who will unite this country and tackle it's issues. Smart move on these deligates.

linda hemmingsen canada   April 2nd, 2008 2:16 pm ET

I guess the govenor hasn't being following the resko mess, obama is up to his neck in fund raisers and giving favors for these men who are now up on money laundering . influence peddling etc. honest????????? not by a long shot , and he says he will still be friends with tony resko and his minister. the negativity and race card is being played by him he learned well after hearing his minister speak for 20 years. what a mess your election will be when the republicans bring it all out and win.

Do Endoresement Matter?   April 2nd, 2008 2:15 pm ET

Remind me again how the all the endorsements helped Obama in Texas, Ohio, and Rhode Island?

Juan   April 2nd, 2008 2:15 pm ET

The Wave is coming towards our side!!! The wave of uniting the party!!! Its a shame that the 'establishment' does not want the Clintons back in control.

Google…Paul vs Clinton the documentary…she's divisive and if you don't think the Republicans will open her up just let her steal the nomination…

To Pennsylvania Voters:

To those of you who plan to participate in Rush Limbaugh’s Operation Chaos:

This is a reminder that unless they have changed the 10 Commandments without my knowledge, lying is wrong. If you vote for a candidate that you do not support, that is lying. I would also like to remind you of the Golden Rule. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you had a Candidate you believed in, would you appreciate an attempt to defeat that candidate with dishonest tactics? Isn’t that what we want to get rid of in our Government? I encourage you to support the candidate of your choice. I just hope you listen to your heart and do what is right.

Luther Bradley   April 2nd, 2008 2:09 pm ET

I have seen some folks post two or three things under the same name on the same blog, but I only get maybe one in 30 of my responses posted. Now would be a good time to show some of that honesty . How about starting with telling us about what his ties are with William Ayers a man who has admitted to being involved with bombing our pentagon in the past. That aught to be a good place to start then we can move on to the rezko case and who this man really is and what obama did in return for him. All by the way lets not for get the good ole chirch and farrakan and rev wrong . Start with these for honesty.

I am 38 years old and have never been this excited for a presidential candidate. I live in central Kentucky and can say that of those who I have spoken to and have made a decision, it's 80/20 for Obama. I have spoken to two people who are voting for McCain. At least 40, including my 64 year old white father who is voting for Obama. I don't understand all the negativity from the Hillary supporters. I like her ok, but I believe Barack has a better change of energizing the country around big changes.

I think it's great that prominent endorsers are coming out of the woodwork. Unfortunately, the candidates have to rely on the "bigwigs," but at least after all of the endorsing, the voters can see where their choice stands, and who's going to navigate this country back to good standing in the world, and also fix some of the domestic damage left behind. I, personally, need just a pinch of civility in my politics right now. I guess that means that I'm bucking some of my former idol's ( Bill Clinton) suggestions of taking off the gloves. I hope that the primaries to come, continue having record turnout. It was a beautiful sight to see the energy that was created by the candidates. Remember those good old days?

Business as usual...   April 2nd, 2008 1:36 pm ET

CNN where is the announcement of Clintons endorsements??? What like she has none??? Inform the people equally - and actually, I think she has more endorsements than Obama - would that surprise anyone?

This is another so-what!

Lucyna   April 2nd, 2008 1:36 pm ET

That's wonderful!!!. Thank you Dave Freudentha!!!

Evans Oseki, Norway   April 2nd, 2008 1:36 pm ET

Ah, who wouldn`t wanno join the winning train. Good thing Hillary ain`t quiting. She need a serious beating still and like Sonny Liston, her mamma didn`t raise no fool, she`ll end up sitting in the stol. This is reality, not Rocky.

Debra   April 2nd, 2008 1:35 pm ET

Openness, honesty and skill! No he has not. He will turn the Union into disaster.

chris   April 2nd, 2008 1:35 pm ET

Floridian   April 2nd, 2008 1:33 pm ET

Hey CNN, would it be possible to bury this endorsement any further down in the political ticker? Maybe you should file it under yesterday's news so no one will know!

t. marks   April 2nd, 2008 1:32 pm ET

Isn't he a Superdelegate. Why isn't this a bigger news topic or is it because Wyoming is a "little" state?

vanchava   April 2nd, 2008 1:31 pm ET

honkey white guy from cali   April 2nd, 2008 1:30 pm ET

welcome aboard! about time some of these people started standing up and realizing that this country has got to come together for the sake of us all. America has been divided since the first Clinton term and will only be further divided by a second Clinton in office. However you better watch out the Clinton supporters will now tear you up saying you are being fooled or some how tricked it is amazing to me that the most brainwashed people in this country the Clinton followers i call them that because it almost seems like a cult at this point. will take shot at some of the most experienced and well educated people in the country because they believe the lies of two snakes in our midst.

Go Obama 08

Scott   April 2nd, 2008 1:30 pm ET

Good move, Gov Freudenthal! Thank you.

Go Obama!

I have been following American politics for many years ;this young man -Barack Obama is way up there among the very best in America's political history.Hilary Clinton is a good politician but lacking that presidential aura that embodies Barack Obama.

Mike   April 2nd, 2008 1:14 pm ET

Who?

Who Cares?

Go Hillary!!!!

melissa   April 2nd, 2008 1:13 pm ET

The momentum is clearly with Barack. If he manages to close the gap in PA by single digits, that will be a victory for him and more superdelegates will eventually support him.

What some people fail to realize is how Obama is inspiring a whole new generation of registered voters. This has the GOP shaking in their boots since McCain is dipping into the same old base. Barack Obama will be our next President and lead America to a better future.

Sasha   April 2nd, 2008 1:12 pm ET

All of the support matters, big or small states! Who would have thought Wyoming………………….. amazing progress!

Tex   April 2nd, 2008 1:12 pm ET

Another super delegate for Obama! The endorsements are coming in faster now. But, I want Hillary to stay in the race and get beaten fair and square. It's only going to get better!

Ronald   April 2nd, 2008 1:11 pm ET

Obama = opennes, honestly, skill

SPQR753   April 2nd, 2008 1:07 pm ET

WOOW!!! How exciting!!!!!

Steve, New York, New York   April 2nd, 2008 1:06 pm ET

When Hillary Clinton told Senator Feingold that "he was living in a dream-land," as Senators Feingold and McCain tried to push campaign finance reform, that, in my view, epitomized Hillary's ugly personality.

Oh, sniper fire in Bosnia? Come on America, the Senator from New York is a joke!!!! As she does so well among people without college education, maybe she'll cut education spending as her first act as president.

My "hats off" to the governor of Wyoming (another ex-Clinton official) - yeah!!!

Obama 08   April 2nd, 2008 1:04 pm ET

Senator Obama is the Democratic candidate with the openness, honesty and skill to end this vicious cycle of business as usual? Openness to the anti-america people, honesty saying no even the fact is yes he was standby the anti-america pastor. Come people, do you have sense right and wrong? Do you really think push him to the national election will not shame the party in total?

Nolly-woo   April 2nd, 2008 1:04 pm ET

I guess the gov really isn't as concerned about the 2nd Amendment as he has earlier said. Obama would try to ban guns for personal protection.

Joanne   April 2nd, 2008 1:02 pm ET

What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ted Kennedy, John Kerry who won California…………………………

Must have been blackmailed lie Rep. Lewis……..What a shame;;;;;;;;;;;;

Hillary 08
