What we do need is for our government to seriously address this problem in a realistic methodical manner. First and formost its the lack of parents involvement in education and the plain simple process of parents giving their kids all the gadgets to occupy their kids vs being real caring parents. Sorry, but I do not agree. You can not address poverty until you address the root cause. Which is caused by lack of jobs and education. As long as we have such a high drop out rate and the job market remains to crumble, there will be problems. Unfortunately there will always exist in any society those that are poor, uneducated and impoverished. This has existed throughout the history of man kind. There is not excuse for its existance however, we do not need more another mismanaged level of bureaucracy to tell us what we already know.
