Hillary did NOT fire him. SHE did NOT ask him to step down. Penn resigned BUT he will CONTINUE to provide polls AND ADVICE to the Clinton campaign. So, in essence, all he gave up with the title. He's STILL working for Clinton.

You would have thought that a CEO of Public Relations firm would've known better... if his meeting with the Colombians did in fact oppose the true position of HRC.

I do not understand why Hillary voters attack Obama as a media creation He has held elective office for many more years than Hillary. He was was only the 3 rd black senator elected to the US Senate which he won on own merits and not because he was married to a politician. Hillary would not be the Senator from New York much less a presidential on her own merits.

The only firing that would make sense is BILL CLINTON. He accumulates CONFLICTS OF INTERESTS that anybody else in Hillary's campain. The former president is genuine time bomb that would burst soon or later, should Hillary be the Democratic nominee.

I really don't blame Penn. If I worked for the Clinton campaign I would find some creative way to leave as well.

Now, how on earth is Bill going to get himself fired?

I had a chance to watch Meet the press this morning with Tim Russet and Gov.Randell and sen. Bob Casey. Both giants are Pennsylvanians.Mr.Russet was dwelling on the clintons tax return-suggesting that some big bucks for the Presidential Library was questionable???Immediately, sen Bob Casey, chimes in on the funding of the Arkinsas Presidential Library.Tim Russet looked sen. B. Casey in the eye and told him point blanc, that Obama had received lot of cooporate funding in his campaign. The insinuation, that it is only Bill and Hillary that had got the cooperate funds, flew through the window!Otherwise voters will be fooled that Obama does no get dollars from cooporation! No,T.Russet dimantled the notion! Good job Tim Russet, Keep MTP. alive and objective as usual. If someone as the notion that Pennsylvanians don't follow Tim at MTP.they are wrong. They know a lot more!

The only move she could make after the latest fiasco. To those who try to get off point and start talking about Obama's "weaknesses"- they need to listen more and talk less.
He is the strongest candidate, he is the most trusted candidate, and he is the LEADING candidate.
    No new-math can change that.

I note that Obama or his staff has not jumped on Penn the way the Clinton tag team did on Obama's staffer. She set it up perfectly by saying, "now if my campaign did something like that....'. Still, they have thus far shown restraint.

Well, meeting with a Colombian to lobby for CAFTA is a bit worse than speculating that Obama would not change a trade agreement.

I hope that the Obama campaign can afford not to roll in the mud with the Clinton's the rest of the way!

However, Clinton supporters will still whine about Wright, and this or that, clinging to the Clinton mystique to the bitter end!

Well that's three major players on Sen. Clinton's staff down with a TKO. Whose next? Clinton is running a campaign on the fume's of desperation but God bless her, just let her run as long as she wants!!

She didn't fire him. All she did was change his job title. The other networks are reporting that he will still advise the campaign just not as the cheif strategist. This is just a smoke screen to fool the unions into thinking she's not involved in the colombian trade deal. A colombian spokesperson said that during the meeting he could not tell if Penn was representing his firm or the Clinton Campaign which means Penn did not distenguish between the two. The Clintons are very much involved and new exactly what he was doing. I mean why would he risk a campaign job paying millions for a meeting with the colombians that were only paying his firm 300,000. They just didn't want him to get caught.

In between this and the 15 million dollars of unaccounted earnings on the Clintons returns (which by the way I have only seen a complete portrayal on this matter on fox news of all places) I think the Clinton campain is going where it started from in the GUTTER!

15 million of unaccounted income!!! we are not Obama bots, we just prefer someone who tells the truth when they screwed up!! I could care less about whether or not a person makes a mistake it's the part when they cover it up or deny their mistakes that makes me think there is a problem!!
