Clinton: I have different attitude than my husband

 Clinton campaigned in Pittsburgh Wednesday.

Clinton campaigned in Pittsburgh Wednesday.

(CNN) - Hillary Clinton said Wednesday she has long disagreed with her husband on issues of free trade.

"I have a long record of being on a different attitude toward trade than my husband does," she said in Pittsburgh. "I don't think any married couple I know agrees on everything. And we disagree on this."

Bill Clinton has indicated in the past he supports free trade with Colombia. The New York senator is now sharply critical of the measure and said she will work to see it is not authorized by Congress.

Asked Wednesday if she had talked about this issue with her husband, she said "we talk about everything."

Brilliant. Let's them have it every which way. Nobody will know what a 3rd Clinton Administration would do on trade. Just the way they like it because then they can be everything to everyone.

As Chelsea has already informed us, her mother will make the better President than her father. Kids know their parents.

Hillary is her own person. She will make a great president!

Those of you who cannot see an Clinton/Obama ticket listen up: historically there has been animus between various candidates but they still end up on the ticket. Needs to be that way in order to create the "big tent" that the Democrats want to have. Only way Obama would get my vote is is Hillary or a surrogate such as Ed Rendell would be on the ticket.

P.S. In looking at some of the comments on other blogs, Obama does NOT have the nomination and he will not without superdelegates so don't count your chickens before they hatch!

If her campaign is any indication of how her administration will be run, we are in for some dark times ahead. You are against this trade deal but all of your top advisors are for it? Will this be what your cabinet is like? And don't think that Bill is going to be a major player behind the scenes if she gets elected. Who is actually running in this campaing?

As soon as Obama officially gets the nomination she will have a miraculous change of heart and agree on free trade.Maybe she is just shell-shocked from sniper-fire.

  12. Dem w an attitude

There is one value they share in common- they are both PROVEN LIARS!

I could care less about who Bill "is" or isn't having "sexual relations" with.

But they've been lying abot their support for the Iraq war, their support of NAFTA, her experience, and countless other issues important to Americans.

She will never win in November.

Everyone affiliated with the White House during the Clinton administration, including people who oppossed them, had clearly hat Hillary harbored ill feelings towards NAFTA and other free trade agreements, this is no secret. But it does show how quickly Obama is willing to abandon his message of a "new kind of politics."

Why doesn't the press focus on statements like the one in 2007 where he stated that he supported the free trade agreement with Peru... and actually voted on it?

The man's campaign is not as clean and honest as Obama supporters would like you to think it is.

This should quiet the critics about who will be in charge in the White House when Hillary is president.

    She's definitely her own woman.

This is why the "Billary" slam is not only inappropriate and demeaning, but also unjust. Hillary is brilliant as an American leader on her own, in her own right. To discount his experience is foolish, to imagine it discounts Hillary's indepedent thinking is absurd.

Boy those Clintons sure have a slick game going! Bill gets money from the South American countries saying he supports free trade agreements, Hillary gets votes from uninformed citizens saying that she opposes it. Can it get any better? Unbelievable.

Hillary Clinton is correct she have a different attitude that her husband.

1). She accept him having an Affair white she's in the house.

2). She lies straight to our faces without batting an eye.

    3) Peter Paul case is active.

    4) Her former Pastor is a child Molester sentence for 7 years

    5) She is for NAFTA and the Coulumbia Free Trade and can be trusted.

She'll do or say anything to be in the White House...America is tired of the Clintons. How do people not see through her?

"Clinton: I have different attitude than my husband."

Then why send him all over the world campaigning for her? They both lie, spin and change roles so often how does one know what to believe from this duo?

What I do know is, I don't want either of them ever again in the White House.

  21. Counting Down

Joint Income! He was paid around $800,000 by Colombia and I sure bet she didn't mind that money. Can you reject and denounce the money fro Colombia that you share with your spouse? Does Hillary disagree with her husband on certain things or just the things that are popular in the polls?

  22. Geof

Hey CNN, why don't you give us more details? For example, tell us about Clinton's husband recieving $800 000 from Columbian government in 2005 for promoting their free trade with US and what former president promised them – which is all over the Columbian press at that time? He is even more involved in Columbia -gate than M.Penn…

Hillary will win, no doubt about it.

I just hope the Obama supporters can handle the truth about this. They should have a pretty good idea by now that this WILL HAPPEN.

It is okay Obamabots, just start realizing this now rather than later. It will help!

Hillary for President.... NO ONE ELSE!

I'm sure this has nothing to do with Hillary's efforts to distance herself from past positions to get votes in Pennsylvania :-). And when do we get to see the donor list for Bill Clinton's Foundation and Library, and have some understanding of why these big donors won't exert undue influence over the Clintons?
