Clinton: I have different attitude than my husband

 Clinton campaigned in Pittsburgh Wednesday.

Clinton campaigned in Pittsburgh Wednesday.

(CNN) - Hillary Clinton said Wednesday she has long disagreed with her husband on issues of free trade.

"I have a long record of being on a different attitude toward trade than my husband does," she said in Pittsburgh. "I don't think any married couple I know agrees on everything. And we disagree on this."

Bill Clinton has indicated in the past he supports free trade with Colombia. The New York senator is now sharply critical of the measure and said she will work to see it is not authorized by Congress.

Asked Wednesday if she had talked about this issue with her husband, she said "we talk about everything."

Yeah, we know Hillary. On one hand you want to be linked to Bill where it concerns the good things of his past administration. On the other hand you want to show how you are independent of him where it concerns the bad things.

The problem we have with you Hillary Clinton, is that you are a phony. And this is just one more example of your political face. My question is, have you been a politician so long that you don't even know who you are anymore?

We already have a President who couldn't point out where he is going on a map. Do we really want a President with an identity crisis and multiple personalities that change with the polls and political wind, depending on what state she is?

Maybe Hillary should denounce and reject Bill Clinton like NOW.. leave the home as well. This is what people expected Obama to do with the Wright Controversy.

Listen, folks stranger things have happened in our nation's history. And for those of you who call Hillary a liar - Obama has spread some tall tales himself - "professor" of constitutional law, he was a lecturer and that is a big difference to those in academia; the story about his parents meeting, the legislation he said he sponsored - it's just that the news media plays up every misstep of Hillary and glosses over Obama's "lies". Check his statements out for yourselves. Hillary is not damaging the party she is giving voters a choice between experience and talk. Between a person who supports America 100 percent and one who belongs to a church that has a "non-negotiable commitment to Africa".

I see this Columbia thing just two ways for senator Clinton ( and Pennsylvania you should pay very close attention)

    1) She didn't know about Mark Penn and could convince her husband to side with her against the Columbia trade deal.

or 2) She knew about Mark Penn and Bill and was trying to support it behind the scenes.

If she didn't know ..she SHOULD have. If she can't convince her own husband, how can she convince Republicans and fellow Democrats?

If she was trying to pull a fast one (my personal favorite) and appear to be against it ...only later to claim she had no knowledge or control over the process...

All of the above bring into question her judgement, ability, character and rediness for the top job.

...looks like an Obama vote to me.

I can't believe how blinded Hillary Supporters are! PA get ready to see your jobs shipped over seas. When you ask Hillary why they have gone? She'll say she Misspoke and was threatened by sniper fire to ship your jobs to Colombia. Look beyond. I ONCE supported Hillary but after so many lies. Obama is by and far a better choice. McBush is just to out of sync with today's America.

    Obama 08!

I say you can pick and fire your husband but you can not fire your daugther.

Can someone on Clintons' camp tell me why special interest groups paid 50 MM+ to Bill for his speeches? Wake up Clinton people, this kind of money comes from people who want to bribe politicians in a legal manner. Nobody pays 50MM+ for speeches. It's a legal way to get what lobbyists get what they want. Do you still believe Hillary will fight lobbyists when her husband has got 50MM+ from them?. Can't you see the conflict of interest here? It's $$$$$ not a difference of opinion between a couple. It's just pathetic.
I am sorry, I do not want to insult anyone, but I can't believe Clinton supporters are so dumb not to see this. No wonder post graduates support Obama 2 to 1 and Hillary's base is mostly between misinformed high school gradutes (13% higher than Obama). No offense to high school graduates, just wanted everyone to wake up.

All you Obama supporters, if you think he is spending his campaign money wisely on TV adds why doesn't he pay for the voters in FL. and MI. He is not letting the people in those two states vote. Does that mean he might loose there? Remember electoral votes is what counts and Senator Clinton is ahead. Unless Obama and his cronies steals the nomination from her. That will be the end of OBAMA because MCCAIN will finish him in November. FL and MI will count.

    GO HILLARY""""""""' 08

Hillary even tried to sink NAFTA back in 1993. She is very protectionist as she claims and that is why she will not get support from moderate Republicans that Bill got votes from.

Hillary does not have the intellectual vision that Presidents Clinton and G. W. Bush have on free trade. Economic isolationism leads only to economic disaster. That is why we need McCain to win in '08!

    Copy Cat Campaign
    Lying Deceivers
    Losing the popular vote
    Losing in the Delegate count

Hillary you should continue watching and copying the Obama Campaign you may learn how to be honest and truthful.

Hillary is a Republican in Democrat's clothing. Let's not forget that she campaigned for Barry Goldwater, for goodness sake! Over and over again she changes her story, her positions and her persona to fit the need of the moment. The bull pucky never ends.

Wow!!! Back in 1999 when he pardoned those 11 people who did not ask for a pardon (who helped her get the Puerto Rican vote in New York), she said that they didn't talk about it. She said that they didn't talk about it when the Senate voted 92% against the presidential pardons for the FALN members who were already serving 30-90 year sentences in Federal Prisons. By the way, they had to be convinced to accept the pardons, they had not applied for them, Bill out of the Blue decided to pardon them 2 days after one of the community leaders met with Hillary. BUT THEY DIDN'T TALK ABOUT THAT!!!!

Boy oh, Boy. They have no hesitancy about lying and scheming!!!

Oh and Mark Penn and Bill didn't talk to her about Columbia either, she just walks around not knowing anything. I guess she and John McCain should get together what he can't remember maybe she can make up.

I guess since "Bill and I talk about everything" and file joint tax returns, that means that they shared the $800,000 the Colobians paid Bill!

ALEX, exactly what I thought! Well said!

Michelle didn't take though $$$$$$$ for "helping" and "consulting" Colombia. Lots of Hillary supporters would vote for her because of her husband, who, as we all know for a fact, is a liar, cheat and now, as it turns out, on the pay roll of a lot of shady deals/countries. Best president ever? Yeah, right......LOL

Billary is a team. But maybe she will divorce him before the primaries are over. Wouldn't surprise me, as she is willing to do pretty much everything to get back to the White House.........

Wait a minute to MP from Pennsylvania. This is not the same thing as Obama and his Pastor of 20 years. Senator Clinton is discussing a policy issue, something which comes up once in a while in the senate. The issue of Pastor Jeremiah Wright is an ethical and moral issue that Senator Obama had 20 years to deal with. The trade deal with Colombia is not a deal that has been discussed or even contemplated for 20 years. There is no comparison.
Senator Obama is a fraud. He is a lair. He will never get my vote. If Senator Clinton does not get the nomination, I will become an Independent and will no longer donate to the DCCC or the Democratic Party. I wonder how many Independents and Republicans who vote for Senator Obama can be counted on to donate to the Democratic Party? Not one! When I was 26 I left the church I was baptized into because I saw it was anti-Jew. It took me 26 years. Obama is 46. How long is it going to take him? I don't want a president who takes 46 years to realize he made the wrong decision!
