(CNN) - A presidential ticket including both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama would surprise many political watchers, but none more so than House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
The California Democrat has repeatedly called such a ticket "impossible," and in an interview with mtvU student journalists Tuesday, she said flatly, "I don't see it."
"In this case, I don't see that as politically expedient," Pelosi said. "New York, Illinois…either one I believe are going to be strong Democratic states. I think it is up to the nominee to choose his or her vice presidential candidate."
Pelosi also seemed to suggest the two current Democratic presidential contenders wouldn't feel comfortable together on the same ticket.
"The person that is good is the person the presidential candidate feels comfortable with," she said, adding later, "I've just been involved in politics for a very long time and I just don't think that would be the ticket."

Yup, I don't think we're gonna see a joint-ticket.
Whomever Hilary or Obama is comfortable with should be irrelevent. It is obvious that Democratic voters are torn between the two, so why not join forces for the "comfort" of the people of the United States. A highly probably win for the party should be their goal, if they are on the same ticket, they both win – everyone wins. I believe that they both can do extraordinary good for the country working as President or Vice President. The problem is, which one will take the lead on this?

Trust matters the most to me; therefore, if Hillary wins the nomination or if Obama puts her on the ticket or even if she has a cabinet position in the White House, then I will not vote democrat this year. I just really don't trust Hillary anymore

I know sooo many people will say that she shouldn't rule out the possible ticket but Pelosi is doing the democratic party a HUGE favor...she is killing the possible disappointment early instead of letting it grow. if soo many ppl start to believe this ticket will happen then lots of ppl will be disappointed if or when it doesn't happen...and that will bring animosity toward the candidate that wins and possibly lead to ppl staying at home or worse voting for McCain....Pelosi is honestly doing whats best for the party...just wish i could say that about others.
Why do people keep asking her the same question when we already all know her answer? And that is completely obvious. Hillary only tried using that to attempt to sway Obama backers into backing her. I am so tired of her political games and lies.
There is a fundamental difference between Obama and Hillary. Obama does not take PAC and Lobbyist money. How can he have Hillary on the ticket who takes money from PAC and Lobbyist? Doesn't make much sense to me.
