Chelsea Clinton is campaigning for her mother's presidential bid.
Chelsea Clinton is campaigning for her mother's presidential bid.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Chelsea Clinton is spending long days on the campaign trail telling college crowds about her mother's positions on everything from health care and student-loan costs to the Darfur crisis and gay rights.

But there is one subject she will not discuss — "The Other Woman."

At least three times in the past two weeks, the former and possible future first daughter has been asked about the Monica Lewinsky scandal's influence on the presidential campaign of her mother, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.

The answer has evolved each time.

When a student at Butler University in Indianapolis first asked the question on March 25, she drew applause and gave a short response that ended with: "I do not think that is any of your business."

Clinton, 28, since has been less blunt, though the message is much the same.

It is my business Chelsea. Your parents lived in MY White House on My dime. If you are out there extolling your mothers lies, then answer every question. You cannot pick and choose.

JAB   April 9th, 2008 10:52 am ET

My God people - leave Chelsea alone. How hard hearted can some people be. I don't care if she is an adult or not and I don't care if she is out there for her Mother on other issues, she is still the child that reaps pain from that time and always will - so does the whole family - even Bill. Get real people - too bad some of you have not had to go through such issues in your life!

Scott   April 9th, 2008 10:53 am ET

This is legit. If you're going to campaign, then your personal life will be exposed, ask Gary Hart.

Juan from L.A.   April 9th, 2008 10:53 am ET

99 campuses…rings a bell with 80 countries…like mother like daughter…don't trust a Clinton…

trellskig   April 9th, 2008 10:53 am ET

Leave the girl alone about this "Lewinsky" thing. Some of these reporters don't have the guts to ask (Bill) these questions because they know he will eat them alive…lol

BRING HOME THE TROOPS!

Lewinsky is All American business. You run for the president you put your life on the table to All American; or you quit…

Independent   April 9th, 2008 10:55 am ET

It's amazing how Clinton fans are crying poor Chelsea. What about poor Monica? A young girl who was exploited by both parties, who's name is now being dragged through the mud once again for the Clintons. Did the Clintons ever think about Monica before they decided to run again. Do you think they care about this girls feelings or life for that matter.

Venus   April 9th, 2008 10:56 am ET

Answer the questions Chelsea - as Hillary's supporters keep saying that the Rev. Wright story is not going away - neither will this subject!

Angus McDugan   April 9th, 2008 10:58 am ET

If she is campaigning for her parents then why can she not comment on their ethical background?

Chris from San Antonio   April 9th, 2008 10:58 am ET

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I don't understand why everyone has to handle Chelsea with kid gloves. If she doesn't like the line of questioning, don't go on the road for your mother.

Jack   April 9th, 2008 10:58 am ET

I've heard Chelsea speak, and she's REALLY GOOD and VERY SHARP…..

she's a better speaker than her mom as she clearly gets her skills from her sharp-speaking dad….

I can see why Hillary does well in the districts that Chelsea visits…

Dee JAY in miami   April 9th, 2008 10:58 am ET

She needs to Be a grown woman and answer or get off the the trail…
plain and simple

Obama 08

natalie   April 9th, 2008 10:58 am ET

She is an adult now. She needs to answer the question. She needs to ask her mother how she could allow a man to cheat on her while she is in the same house. Another demonstration of Hillary's poor judgement.

Wisconsin for Obama   April 9th, 2008 10:59 am ET

First of all, Chelsea needs a nose job. Secondly, IMO, Hillary needs to leave her alone she is starting to have wrinkles around her eyes because of the campaign stress and the stupid questions brought about by her parent's mess.

Felly   April 9th, 2008 10:59 am ET

If Chelsea is going to be out there campaigning and asking for votes for her mom, she ought be be able to answer any questions. She should not be cherry picking. Like mother like daughter. She is a 28 year old woman and no longer a child.

Sarah In Laurel, MD   April 9th, 2008 10:59 am ET

Hogwash - Stop stumping if you don't want to handle the tough questions!

Adam   April 9th, 2008 11:00 am ET

I agree, they are just asking to get attention. If she dosen't want to answer then that is her choice. I still think its Obama fans saying they are Hillary supporters just trying to get 15 mins of fame. Come on folks..try something new.

I hope she gets asked everytime she shows up somewhere, I think it is at the heart of the matter.

We all know NOW why she never left Bill, all 109 million reasons!!!!!

Hippies Unite   April 9th, 2008 11:00 am ET

pc   April 9th, 2008 11:01 am ET

Bill Clinton was a public figure and as President of the United States his life was public. Americans have the right to ask questions about Lewinsky. It shows the character of the man who is trying to put his wife in the white house. Go Public! Ask on!!!

mep   April 9th, 2008 11:02 am ET

Why can't we all get past this OLD news…This and Rev. Wright…It's done, gone, and needs to be put away…Stop running these stupid stories about past events and run what's happening NOW and what's going to be happening in the near future.

Thomas, LA   April 9th, 2008 11:02 am ET

Chelsea, dear…

If you can't stand the heat, get the heck of the campaign trail.

Brent Stevenson   April 9th, 2008 11:02 am ET

Chelsea, go back to playing with dolls. This is a grown-up thing dealing with questions about your mother's campaign. If you can't deal with it, just go home.

health care and economics would be great ……..
but when a President in office abuses the power we gave him it IS fair game. Lewinsky and the impeachment are all topics we as voters want to know if they (scandals) will be repeated if Billary get back in. You are 28 Chelsea. If you can't handle personal ?'s, maybe public life (service) is not in the family genes.

Vote for change!!!!

Chris from VA   April 9th, 2008 11:03 am ET

A deal to kill two birds with one stone:

Chelsea will hold a press conference answering all Monica-related questions if Obama will hold a press conference answering all Wright-related ones!

(Unfair to Chelsea, of course. She was not sitting down cheering Monica on - nor did Chelsea give Monica tens of thousands of dollars - the way Barack did Wright.)

tjp, valley forge, PA   April 9th, 2008 11:04 am ET

Since it happened while her father was on our payroll, it is our business. It is certainly a legitimate question. She needs to develop a better response or consider getting off the campaign trail

Gigi   April 9th, 2008 11:04 am ET

Chelsea Clinton attended two of the most prestigious universities both in the U.S. and Europe, Stamford and Oxford, thus we cannot conceive that someone with her academic credentials finds herself lacking words to come up with a decent explanation, not the "it's none of your bussines" one. Furthermore, this would be a great opportunity to highlight her mother endurance during tough times, her resiliency, as well as that family values may outweight any temptation that her father may have had in the past. There is nothing to be ashamed of, after all, the entire world knew it, forgot it and forgave him.

Larry (Oregon)   April 9th, 2008 11:04 am ET

I think America has a right to know if Hillary and Bill have a stable relationship now. Who wants to see the next first family bring more sex scandels to our country? If Chelsea is big enough to talk for her mother then she is big enough to talk about her father. It is a presidential election and all. I guess it is just another way for the Clinton family to supress the voters questions.

4REAL   April 9th, 2008 11:04 am ET

I am glad people are asking questions about this so maybe Hillary will know how Obama feels about her gathering up supporters to drown him with Rev. Wright. See Hillary what goes around comes around and if you are the nominee you will have to answer more scrutinizing questions about your husband deals with free trade and his ex-girl friends. If you don't want you little girl in your business take her off the trail. God don't like ugly. And you are sure enough ugly.

Th3rdpwr   April 9th, 2008 11:05 am ET

Why is this Lewinsky question being constantly reported? Surely someone has asked about the Bosnia flap, since Chelsea was there. Better, more appropriate questions might be: Why did she allow her mother to spin the Bosnia tale? How should the public, then, view the credibility of both she and her mother?

I guess it is also none of our business of who donated the millions of dollars to Bill Clinton, right? None of our business of who the Clintons share business interests with in foreign countries like Dubai and elsewhere. Are those also none of our business?

lip   April 9th, 2008 11:07 am ET

Scan down through the various topics and you will see five or so dedicated to Hillary and maybe one of two on Obama.
Why does CNN give Hillary so much coverage and what's with the Chelsea/Lewinski stuff? Are we to believe that these are anything other than plants to garner sympathy for Chelsea/Hillary?

Ed, Santa Fe NM   April 9th, 2008 11:07 am ET

Hillary can tell us all about hers and Bill's extramarital affairs…. they are a couple of sleazes.

JimS.   April 9th, 2008 11:07 am ET

Obviously the intent now is just to make Chelsea (and thus her Mom) look bad. It shows the level of immaturity of the person asking, more interested in salacious issues than matters of importance. Even if Chelsea answered the question, no answer would satisfy the asker and no minds would be changed anyway. So there's absolutely no reason to answer the question.

Mike   April 9th, 2008 11:07 am ET

It takes the youthful generation to NOT understand RESPECT. This remains an inappropriate question not related to her mother's credentials. If anything, one should applaud someone who STICKS WITH IT through thick and thin. Guess that characteristic is "out of the window" with this generation as well. As they say, "Move on", "Whatever" and CNN kill this useless, old news. Slow day?

debra   April 9th, 2008 11:08 am ET

And how is Chelsea's view on anything to do with Monica Lewinski relevant? It's a stupid question and doesn't deserve a response.

Bob   April 9th, 2008 11:08 am ET

Typical of any Clinton to NOT answer a question.

Yes it is our business.

I would love to know why Hillary has stayed with Bill after cheating with many many women.

She gives all women a bad name.

Mike B   April 9th, 2008 11:08 am ET

Why doesn't someone ask her "since you are actively campaigning for your mother for President, why is it you feel you are above answering questions that deal with an event that for many in this country defined your fathers Presidency and had a significant impact on the public perception of your mother?"

that is what I would like to hear her answer.

MC , Tampa   April 9th, 2008 11:08 am ET

Give me a break, this happened in the white house while her father was on the people's payroll. Sorry you don't get to claim it as personal family business!

Ted R.   April 9th, 2008 11:08 am ET

The Lewinsky scandal is NOT just a family matter that is no one else's business. The fact that Bill Clinton lied through his teeth to the nation and put this country through an inpeachment hearing makes it everyone's business.

Just like Bill and Hillary, Chelsea is trying to have it both ways. She wants to be in the limelight supporting her mother, but only on her terms. They should also take off the gag order regarding questions from reporters. She should be fair game just like anyone else stumping for a candidate.

Josh   April 9th, 2008 11:09 am ET

Chelsea looks like she's 40 years old in this picture. Boy the campaign trail has been brutal.

Elle   April 9th, 2008 11:09 am ET

Paul   April 9th, 2008 11:09 am ET

Chelsea, you are definitively a good daughter. You know that your mom can bring prosperity and peace to our nation as we do.

Btwy, people's private-personal lives are none of our business, it does not take anything away from whom they are as professionals. Ask about the issues and stop being rude by trying to get answers that attempt to distract people's attention from the real issues such as our current recession and foreclosures and lost of jobs.

We need the expert on the conomy, the one who knows what to do and actually will do it and that person is Hillary.

May God bless America.

Hillary - President of the United States of America

VOTE DEMOCRAT- VOTE FOR CLINTON!

Jeff   April 9th, 2008 11:09 am ET

Direct, to the point, on topic… god I love Chelsea.

Alison B   April 9th, 2008 11:10 am ET

Chelsea is a grown woman, and since she is on the campaign trial she needs to be able to answer all questions not selected few. Not answering to me makes it seem like there is something to hide about that situation.

Anne E.   April 9th, 2008 11:10 am ET

The very first time this question was asked, Ms. Clinton REacted rather than give the answer the question deserved; her response should have been, "that's a question best answered by the candidate herself," or, "you'll have to take that up with the Senator." Either answer would have diffused the situation rather than making it personal. Unless, of course, Ms. Clinton's answer was intentional, thereby re-victimizing her mother all over again, and hoping to gain "the sympathy vote."

Shun   April 9th, 2008 11:10 am ET

If Hillary is the nominee, get ready for All-Lewinsky-All-The-Time!

That is PAGE ONE of the Republican Playbook for her.

Hillary's ONLY experience during her husband's presidency was
full-time management of all The Clinton Scandals. From day one,
until the very last day they left with stolen White House silverware.

All of it is coming back, every single thing The Clintons did to this
country. Watch for it, it's coming…

This is a load of bologna!!!!! Some group is behind this and I stongly suspect the Clinton campaign itself.

Interesting, isn't it, that this question keeps being asked of Chelsea and not Hill or Bill. I think it's the Clinton campaign using this to play the simpathy card.

Polls show her going down in Pennsylvania. We have already seen the Lanny Davis/Rev. Wright outrage today. Looks like Hillary is dipping into her bag of shenanigans.

Babushka   April 9th, 2008 11:12 am ET

Students, why don’t you ask Chelsea to explain why Mr. Mark Penn has been demoted and her dad is still campaigning?

Bill Clinton, has been supporting trade agreements with Colombia and made many $millions promoting it.

Is that not that a conflict of interest too?

Please leave Monica alone, she had suffered enough. Besides, she is not probably going to vote for Hillarry.

There are more important things we would like to know .

Margaret   April 9th, 2008 11:12 am ET

I think this article doesn't make it clear that the first person's question was how does Chelsea respond to comments made about her mother being weak because she stayed with a man who cheated on her. The question isn't what do you think of your dad for cheating on your mom or anything about her dad, it's about her mom's reaction to it. So when she says "But also on a larger point, I don't think you should vote for or against my mother because of my father," she's not addressing the question originally asked. Granted that was her response to the second person's question and I don't know if he phrased his question the same way. I still think in a political campaign how a candidate reacts to a situation that is basically degrading and insulting should be fair game.

Joan   April 9th, 2008 11:13 am ET

Let's ask Mr. McCain some questions…about his extra-marital affairs, his temper, his medical records, his denounciation of the United States during the VietNam War, his wife's alleged drug addiction/ use, his understanding of economics, his plans for social security and Medicare, his plans for education, etc. He has been given a free ride so far. McCain is an old, unqualified, whining cry baby who has not been forthright with the American people.

Obama support in Iowa   April 9th, 2008 11:13 am ET

I have to continually recheck the totals for the State of Texas to remind myself that Obama ended up with 109 delegates compared to Clinton's 106. In my mind, that makes Obama the winner of the State of Texas. I'm curious why they still are calling it for Clinton. I know she won the primary but that is only 2/3 of the total. I wish someone would call Texas for Obama.

Kate   April 9th, 2008 11:14 am ET

If Chelsea were your every day average 28 year old woman, I would agree that it is no one's business to ask about her father's infidelity; however, Ms. Clinton is not the average every day 28 year old woman. She is on the campaign trail aggresively working in hopes to help her mother be elected to the highest political position in America, so to be perfectly frank, it is our business. The president is elected by the people and works for the people, at least in theory, and paid by the people; therefore, if the president is on the tax payer pay roll then it is our business if our president lies under oath. It is our business when our president engages in immoral behavior while on the clock and living in a home again financed by the American people. If Ms. Clinton cannot handle the questions, then she should fade into obscurity and become a average every day 28 year old woman.

Cathy   April 9th, 2008 11:14 am ET

I think Chelsea being a strong surrogate for her mother should have expected these types of questions. To be perfectly honest, I'm amazed it didn't happen sooner. Although it can be argued either way, Chelsea needs to think of a better response then "none of your business."

Hillary has Bill campaigning for her hard and she uses the 8 years as first lady to support her experience argument. Therefore the Clintons should be open to answer all questions regarding the good and the bad things during those eight years.

Although, McCain and his wife have their own indiscretions to worry about. No one should be surprised that those types of questions have come up now or in the general election. I'm amazed no one has asked Hillary yet about her JUDGMENT in handling her cheating husband.

Sean   April 9th, 2008 11:14 am ET

Paul: When that "private person" happens to be the president, and these events happened in our White House, it surely does concern all. The fact that he lied about it concerns us all. The fact that he was impeached surely concerns us all. As a public figure, you are under harsher scrutiny. All public figures know that. This is no different, except that he literally got caught with his pants around his ankles.

Dan in CO   April 9th, 2008 11:14 am ET

Which is why Jeremiah Wright is nobody's business either.

therealist   April 9th, 2008 11:14 am ET

Chelsea just simply needs to face the question with the honest response.

Question: Did the Lewinsky affair hurt your mother's credibility?
Answer: No, It hurt my father's credibility..

NZ, NJ   April 9th, 2008 11:14 am ET

I think Chelsea Clinton is the pride and joy of ther parents and the job they have done in raising her speaks volumes of the Clintons's character. Bill Clinton had an affair while in the White House. So did Bush sr….so did JFK….so did countless other presidents….so do hundreds of thousands or more men in the world today. It's sad when any man can emotionally hurt his family, but that does not define President Clinton as a president. HE WAS THE BEST PRESIDENT OF OUR GENERATION (whether people want to believe it or not) and the poor decision he made as a man to have that affair has no bearing on Hillary Clinton's bid for the WH. Chealsea is right….IT"S NO ONE"S BUSINESS WHAT SHE OR HER MOTHER WENT THROUGH DURING THAT TIME.

To the Obamanots who keep aksing those question, why don;t you ask your mesiah how he feels now that his lover Resko is facing possible jail?

Obama support in Iowa   April 9th, 2008 11:15 am ET

Mama   April 9th, 2008 11:16 am ET

I'd like to know the answer to the question. How would a woman who says she's a strong leader stay with a man who's cheated on her with a long list of women? Shouldn't strength start on the home front? Sorry, but it matters to me that Bill and Hillary talk down on these women he cheated with. Instead of hold him accountable, she stands there like a stone and protect his actions and he just refers to those he had affairs with as "that other woman". I have problems respecting people who can't respect them self enough to leave a liar and cheater.

If Chelsea wants to be in the spotlight she should answer the questions that are asked and not dismiss them as too personal. If I was her I would not expose myself to the public for both her father and mother have enough baggage and scandals between them to make anybody cringe.

Paulette, Cincinnati, Ohio   April 9th, 2008 11:16 am ET

Take that to the bank Obama lovers.

My heart has always gone out to Chelsea Clinton for all of the senseless suffering her father has put her through over the years.

Imagine if your father had sex with a 21-year old while your mother was in the same building.

Stay strong, Chelsea.

Meanwhile, kudos to Amy Carter, Caroline Kennedy and Susan Eisenhower (among others I may not know of) who are proudly supporting Barack Obama for their own dads' former job.

Venus   April 9th, 2008 11:16 am ET

There is nothing private about the time Bill Clinton was president and the fact that his sex acts happen in the White House - many times while Hillary was there. There is nothing rude about people wanting answers regarding this issue since Hillary is running!

Elle   April 9th, 2008 11:18 am ET

What happened with the Clinton family and Monica did serious damage to the democratic party. It cost a lot of tax dollars to resolve.

I fundamentally don't care about any of that garbage, but on the same level, I believe it is our business how Hilary handled herself during that time.

Asking Chelsea about it seems pointless though. She's a front-person for her mom, so really what more would you expect than "I believe my mother handled that situation with dignity"

common sense   April 9th, 2008 11:19 am ET

These questions are certainly rude and inapropriate!

but politicians sometimes get rude questions in heated contest and Chelsea has to expect this sort of thing. Her father's cheating on her mother is definitely a private matter…HOWEVER her father's impeachment for lying about sex is (unfortunately) not at all private.

She is no longer a little girl. She is nearly 30yrs old and is a full time spokesperson for the Clinton campaign. While a little tact and dignity should be expected, she cannot expect to be babied in this tight race.

Randy - Denver   April 9th, 2008 11:19 am ET

Paul if private personal lives of our elected officials are none of our business why all the questions on Mr. Obama's religious life? The fact of the matter is if I am electing someone to Represent ME I want to know that they do IN FACT represent what I believe and that means I get to ask those private personal questions

go away Billary   April 9th, 2008 11:19 am ET

I know I don't want Bill in the White House again, Once a cheater, always a cheater, I wonder who he have his eye on this time??

CNN   April 9th, 2008 11:19 am ET

Why don't you report about Bill Clinton dealing with the Columbians?

Amy R.   April 9th, 2008 11:19 am ET

How is it people's private lives when this scandal cost the taxpayers millions of dollars. Sorry, when you are a public official who lied and it cost taxpayers millions of dollars, it is no longer a private issue.

Vacman   April 9th, 2008 11:20 am ET

I agree that the questions regarding the Monica Lewinski scandal during her father's days in the White House has nothing to do with Hilliary's campaign but that's comes with being a celebrity or political figure!! People will continue to ask her these type of questions until she stops being defensive about them or she tells the people what they want to hear!

Raoul   April 9th, 2008 11:20 am ET

The Clintons like to have it their way on everything, and that now extends to their adult-woman-child. Why should Chelsea Clinton be stumping for her parents and not talk to the press? Has she not been made a public figure in this process? The fact that the privileged daughter of Bill and Hillary is out on tour talking to "average" college students is laughable in the first place. They should be asking her how much she owes on her student loans!

privilege (noun): a right, immunity, or benefit enjoyed only by a person beyond the advantages of most.

Patty   April 9th, 2008 11:20 am ET

It is so sad that people are ignorant about not asking personal questions like that. Yes, it may have played a role when it all happened but has nothing to do with now nor is it Chelsea's responsibility to answer questions that should be asked of her mom and dad.

Chris from San Antonio   April 9th, 2008 11:20 am ET

re: Paul
"Btwy, people's private-personal lives are none of our business, it does not take anything away from whom they are as professionals."

Then, I'm glad to know you aren't concerned about Rev. Wright, either. Take heed, Hillary supporters. Paul has it right. Private/personal lives have no bearing on professional lives.

Gal   April 9th, 2008 11:20 am ET

Yes Paul private lives are private…but once your a politician in the White House and your running for office again the acts you do in the White House are no longer your personal business. Did you forget this is an impeachment offense, is that to none of our business? If you don't want your actions to be our business while your in office then the answer is really quite simple..don't run for office.

gerry   April 9th, 2008 11:20 am ET

Will CNN stop at nothing to give Hillary some positive spin and keep regeritating old stories?

How about Bill's support for the Columbian free trade deal? How about the fact both Wolfson and Penn got paid by Columbia?

How about Clinton not releasing her earmarks or list of donors to both the Clinton foundation and the presidential library?

Whatever happened to CNN being politically unbiased?

Latina Here   April 9th, 2008 11:20 am ET

Poeple leave her alone about that subject!

Eric   April 9th, 2008 11:21 am ET

What Bill Clinton did is more than having affairs. To get blown right in the middle of the Oval Office, to have his second term made useless with all the scandals and procedures, is certainly not something private. It is public.

During all that time, Hillary prefered blaming the right conpiracy instead of looking at the reality of her relationship with a pathological lier and cheater. It is certainly a lack of judgement.

Now if Chelsea wants to campaign, she can refuse to answer some questions. It is her right. But by no mean can she be rude to anyone who understands that the whole issue does raise important questions about the candidate she is promoting.

fred   April 9th, 2008 11:21 am ET

Way to go Amanda Morris, you are 100% correct. Why should this question even be asked??? Maybe if Chelsea had written a book on the subject then, yes. Otherwise it is no bodies business what she thinks or how she feels about the subject. Chelsea isn't running for office.

p Coleman   April 9th, 2008 11:21 am ET

This was blown out of proportion when it happened and it has no place in this campaign. Hillary and Chelsea had nothing to do with it and they have handled this very well as a family and it should be forgotten. Even God forgives, but not the ignorant people with apparently nothing to occupy their time and the media is bias enough to report on this. I am sure all the people talking about this are angels. Maybe if George W had a girlfriend he would have been a better president.

PJ, New York Independent   April 9th, 2008 11:50 am ET

UGH… you people are a bunch of morons (the Obama supporters). What does the Monica issue have to do with Hillary Clinton running for President? Bill Clinton was the one who had the affair with Monica, not Hillary Clinton. We heard EVERYTHING about the Monica issue over a decade ago. If anyone wants more info, google Monica Lewinsky! It's just so ridiculous, it really is! You nut job Obama supporters actually think that this is more of an issue/concern with the American people than Obama's ties with his racist/anit-American pastor/mentor/father figure!

Your media darling Obama will NOT win the general election, should he win the DEM nomination. The Democratic party is so divided right now it's pathetic. Watch how many Hillary Clinton supporters cross over in support of John McCain, just watch.

ML, Houston, TX   April 9th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

This goes to the moral integrity of Hillary Clinton. Any other wife would have divorced her husband and sued for half of everything. Why did Hillary not do that?

Bill had nothing of value at the time and Hillary was having a grand time living at the White House. What other moral values will Hillary compromise to be President?

jimmy velman   April 9th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

P.J OF N.Y !!!, I AGREE AND APPLAUD YOU FOR YOUR COMMENTS

PEOPLE REALLY DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT OBAMA'S PERSONA .ALL WE KNOW IS THAT HE IS A GOOD SPEAKER.
WE KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT THE MAN, EXCEPT FOR THE COMPANY HE KEEPS AND THAT'S NOT SAYING MUCH .

Paul   April 9th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

Btwy, people's private-personal lives are none of our business, it does not take anything away from whom they are as professionals. Ask about the issues and stop being rude by trying to get answers that attempt to distract people's attention from the real issues such as our current recession and foreclosures and lost of jobs.

Here is someone who is making a good point. So shouldn't churches and pastors be on that private personal lives list.

TiaWju   April 9th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

I love how Bill Clinton accepts $800,000 in bribe money from the Colombians (oppps, I mean speech money), and Hillary cries when she's down in the polls and Chelsea doesn't feel legitimate questions are part of the "vetting" of her mother when her own mother would expect everyone to ask the same questions of the other candidates?

You gotta love the charade of politics where every politician seems to want change, seems to care and then when they get in office, they just screw the H&LL out of the American Public.

If you think any of the three running will be any different, I live on an ice Berg here in Florida and I'm willing to sell you a 1 foot by 1 foot section to build a house on. I'd even sell it to you cheap. Let's say $100,000,000 a square inch.

Ryuken   April 9th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

Way to go Chelsea. You can answer whatever question you want and if I were in your shoes my response would be very similar.

Emily   April 9th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

Um, she *is* answering the Lewinsky questions. She might not be dishing the dirt on her parents or reflecting on their morals or choices, but she is saying something clearly to the American public about rights to privacy and her views on what the central issues of the campaign ought to be. I feel sure Obama, and his many politically aware supporters, would far rather duke it out with Clinton over the issues, not over a decade-old personal controversy. He's a substantive candidate, who probably doesn't really need the support of petty gossip mongerers.

Sum   April 9th, 2008 12:22 pm ET

Hey Sue, by YOUR logic you should be spilling the beans about YOUR personal life too, since you drive on roads paid for by MY dime and enjoy other benefits paid for by MY taxes.

Funny … we always want to defend our own "right" to privacy, but never care for that of others. Pathetic.

Scoot   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

Remember when Cheney said this when a reporter asked a question about Cheney's lesbian daughter?

"I think, frankly, you’re out of line with that question."

Wow! It appears if you're a Republican you don't have to answer personal questions, but if you're a Democrat you do. I mean, clearly, Chelsea's take on her father's infidelity certainly would dictate how Hillary would run the country.

As usual, IOKIYAR!

Kathleen   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

It is NONE of our business - people get a grip and move on. She does not have to answer questions pertaining to the personal issues of her parents that happened years ago -

Let's talk about the real issues for once!

Daniel P. From Long Island, N.Y.   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

Chelsea, it's a fair question. Your father lied to the American people. He was IMPEACHED. He was DISBARRED. And now your mother and father are working both sides of the street on the Colombia Free Trade deal. How do we know your mother is not as duplicitous as your father ?

M Goodson   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

I do not think that Chelsea should be asked about her parents private lives. If anyone wants to ask Hillary, then Hillary is probably fair game. But I also do not think that Chelsea should compaign for her mother and refuse to take questions from the media. I do no think that is fair for her to do. But I ABSOLUTELY believe that asking her questions about her parents private lives is highly inappropriate. Didn't she go though enough just haveing to live through the scandal. She had no control over what her father or mother were doing in their private lives.

paul smith   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

I think it's unfortunate that this comes up but it goes with the territory. Chelsea was off limits to the press and declined interview opportunities when it was the road to coronation(including a 9 year old reporter) and the press pretty much honored that. Now that Mommy has injected her into the campaign out of desperation, she is, unfortunately, fair game, which is a shame as she seems to be a nice, articulate young woman.

ben   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

I would never vote for Hillary! I will vote for Obama. BUT what in the name of God does the transgresions of Bill Clinton have to do with this campaign? LEAVE THIS GIRL ALONE. She is doing what any human being would be doing, she is trying to help her mother. Is that too much to understand? She is as human as anyone of the idiots that try to goad her into this awkward situation of answering questions that are humiliating. On second thought, she is more Christian human than
those senseless morons that ask those hurtfull questions.

Truth   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

It takes much more courage and effort to work out than to walk out a marriage. Clinton scandal only proves Hilary’s strong side. My kids were in the same school as Chelsea, so I had heard and seem her in person. There is no doubt that Clintons have raised a good child with healthy attitude. I hope Obama’s two kids will one day turn out as good as Chelsea without been damaged by the unhealthy Wright’s exposure their parents subject them to. And we certainly can not trust a leader with bitter judgment to make unbiased decisions for us.

Cris Lubbock, TX   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

Is'nt She a grown woman. Why is she acting like a child. She is not a college student anymore, why does she only answer students questions? I am her exact age, and have been to college, have gotten married, and have a son. I am an adult!!! Welcome to the real world Miss Clinton. If you cant handle the campaign trail then get the heck out!! This just makes me loose even more respect for the Clintons. How can anyone support them. DO YOUR RESEARCH! THEY ARE EVIL!!!

ruby   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

She does get to decide what about her life and her family history she thinks is none of our business. Everyone does. This does not mean you have to agree but she does get to decide for herself.

If you think this is the most central example of who we need in the White House then go ahead and vote that way. It's your vote.

I would not dream of wasting my vote on such. I am going to vote for the person I think can do the best job as President. Now there's a novel approach.

Hillary Clinton 2008

Rob   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

A question about Bill Clinton Lying about the affair is our business, but NOT the question revolving his affair with Monica Lewinsky. Obama supporters better stop using their juvenile tactics as a vehicle to bash Hillary on this. Your comments are not necessary. Obama supporters are just afraid that we will go back to discussing the issues and the debates, to which Hillary has the clear advantage, along with the swing states.

letsgetbacktotheissues '08

Andrew   April 9th, 2008 12:23 pm ET

She says "don't vote for or against my mom because of my dad," and yet the Clintons have made clear that he would be a prominent part of her leadership team, the same way she was. They are asking us to vote for another Clinton administratation based on the last one, yet refuse to address its major weaknesses and errors in judgment. It is totally relevant and fair to ask questions about the man who would be the "co-president," or at least the most involved first spouse in history, particularly when he is campaigning as if he were running. Chelsea's dodges only make the issue get more headlines. She should give a short answer and move on.

And take questions from 9-year olds! She can't differentiate between kid reporters and regular reporters? Ridiculous!

Jon   April 9th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

Let's ask Obama's kids about Rev Wright and call it even, okay?

MD   April 9th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

Let me make one thing crystal clear: I do not like, nor trust the Clintons. However, I don't think attacking Chelsea about her father's affair is appropriate.

How would anyone like their child to be questioned for their sins?

People should have enough guts to ask questions about Monica from the person who "experienced" her: Bill Clinton.

Hillary for Prez!   April 9th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

The question is redundant to say the least asked by people who are not impacted by the economy/recession!

Question: Monica Lewinsky scandal's influence on the presidential campaign of her mother, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Hillary and her family have put it in the past, the questioning people are living in the past.
Bill Clinton can never run for President because of this awful mistake
Hillary is Catholic and her faith allows only 1 marriage, she is definitely not imposing this on anyone else
As for Monica, she was an adult who must take responsibility for her action, it takes 2 to tango! I really think Bill couldve gotten a supermodel if he wanted to as a president but he did not!

For Chelsea, the white house was her 'home' and whatever happened there was personal!

DeAnna from Orange, CA   April 9th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

Kudos to Chelsea for fielding those ridiculous questions regarding Lewinsky! Who cares??? IT'S NONE OF ANYONE'S BUSINESS ANYWAY. Besides, what happened back then didn't HARM this nation. It was a family issue. The current administration has been the root cause of thousands of fatalities in Iraq and the U.S.

Julie   April 9th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

The first time the question about Lewinsky was asked it was not disrespectful. It was asked because many of us wonder how a woman could be so publically humiliated by her husband but yet continue to stay with him. I think the answer is because before Bill Clinton got caught with Lewinsky (and his other women) not many people cared for Hillary. The White House was riddled with contraversy (i.e. Whitewater) and she was in the middle of it.

Then all of sudden she was a victim and people started to look at her differently. I have always said that Monica Lewinsky may have been the best thing to happen to Hillary because people actually felt bad for this poor woman married to a cheating rat. I think the people of New York felt so bad they actually elected her to the Senate. I for one have a problem with the way she handled the affairs. I would have so much more respect for her if she had of dumped Bill but she stayed with him and used him in return to gain political power. If she had of left him then I would feel that no one has a right to ask her about that time, but since she used it to her advantage I feel the topic is allowed to be asked to anyone that is campaigning for her, including her daughter.

Also what is this with Chelsea not answering a kid reporter's question? That to me is beyond rude and uncaring.

KOR   April 9th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

I had to come back and post here after reading the next ticker on Lanny Davis calling for Obama to answer questions on Rev. Wright. All the Obama supporters are saying, "Just let it go already, more dirty tricks by Hillary…" while here they feel perfectly legitimate asking the daughter of a man who had an affair almost a decade ago to continue to respond to that. Don't you find that the least bit hypocritical? Call off all questions on Rev Wright even though Obama continues to change his story–his most recent one on The View where he said Wright had apologized for his offensive remarks, and that Obama had never called Wright his spiritual mentor– but hammer away at questions a decade old. Could you at least apply the same standards to your candidate as you to the the others?

Rebecca   April 9th, 2008 12:24 pm ET

For those posters who are urging Chelsea to answer the questions about Hillary and Monica Lewinski, just what would YOU answer if asked something like "How could your mother allow your father to…" or "Why did your mother stay with your cheating father…"? There really IS no answer other than "It's personal." No one can keep a spouse from straying, and only Bill and Hillary know the reasons, personal and professional, that keep them together. If it were your parents, would you want to discuss their sexual proclivities endlessly, or would you be more inclined, as she is, to say "I don't want to answer this question." Let Hillary and Bill take care of their own issues. That's what parents do, even parents in the public eye.

Ken   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

The bigger question is not whether or not it's our business, it's what possible relevance can any response have? Clearly, the motivation in asking this question is to make her look bad, or to get their name in the news.

zia   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Hey Hillary, Put the poor girl out of her misery… droup out of the race… and it will all be OK. Wait… it wont be… you are going to lose your senate seat too, since you are such a liar.

FRITZ   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

This is no surprise. Another Clinton trained since childhood to bend the rules for herself and her family. How convienient too! Democrats want transparency on all levels of the government, except into their habits, sexual escapades, and their secret trade and diplomacy deals (that make them just as evil, if not worse, than their Republican counterparts). Does no one understand that to elect a Clinton into office means nearly 20 years of the American 'royal families' controlling America? Or should we keep giving Bill and Al awards for all their great work in the 90's (like backing the president of Turkmenistan, selling American jobs overseas and building a banal and useless intelligence apparatus)?

GET THE POLITICAL ELITE OUT OF OUR WHITE HOUSE!!!!

Rick in Oregon   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

What possible question could they have about the Lewisky stuff that Chelsea would be qualified to answer? Why don't they ask Hillary about that?

We all know what happened there and we all know what became of it. Hasn't that been exposed and exploited to death? What more could we possibly hope to learn from Chelsea about it?

I don't get it. Hillary, like thousands of woman, chose to honor her vows and stay with her husband in good times AND BAD. The 'public' part of that affair is over.

Mary Smith   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

I am disgusted by the media how low they can go to twist everything to favor Obama. This is a pretty much fraud primary election. The Democratic Party will be the victim itself. They will see the backfire in November.

Republic   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Chelsea needs to remember that her father used the White House as the place to satisfy his desires. As such, it became everyone's business. If Bill ran any type of major corporation, his actions would have gotten him fired - shame on the US for not punishing him for his actions.

Also, if Chelsea wants to put herself in the limelight then deal with it. Someone should make her answer the question…..

Ernestine V. Mayes   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Wake up Chelsea and stop whining. How could you have possibly thought that the Lewinsky matter would not come up. How stupid do you think college kids are? All is fair in dirty rotten politics–or as Hillary would call it–experience.

Polkovnik   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

The first time Chelsea was asked the Monica question, it was served up to her like a batting practice pitch with an oversized softball. She should have hit it out of the park. Had she done that, her "suffering" would be over with and her mother's campaign would have been strengthened.

The unprepared daughter who can't take a little minor heat, and who can't recognize a great oppo when she sees one, is not doing her mom any good on the campaign trail.

unknown   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Oh please, how is the Monica scandal related to Clinton's fit for presidency. Mind your own business ppl.

Grace   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

I'm sure Sen. Obama will get BLAME yet again for Chelsea being racked over the goals. I mean geeeezzzzz… every time the Clintons get beat up on or shoot their own foot, both Sen. Clinton and her supporters blame Sen. Obama. HA! HA! It's getting pretty predictable to say the least. What a joke.

Chelsea really needs to get over herself, if she makes the decision to campaign for her MOTHER then all bets are OFF!! This is politics, it's not the "Kiddie Day Care", can we say GROW UP!!!

Chelsea is NOT a minor anymore, she's a grown woman and if she doesn't want to be asked HARD BILL/MONICA questions, then she needs to stay OFF the campaign trail. It's as simple as that.

People need to get a grip, politicians are NOT the exception to the rule and neither are their children when they become an adult.

Alan   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

I could care less what Hillary, or Chelsea thinks on this issue. There are more issues greater than this. It is a matter for their family. I agree it wasn't right what was done years ago and I am sure Bill wasn't the first nor will be the last to cheat. What I care about is, is this person in Our House taking care of this country and its people. That's what mataters. I dont care what happens behind closed doors sexually. That is the families business and for them to deal with. Would I vote for Bill again? In a heart beat. I dont condone what he did, but he was a great President in my opinion. Far better than this one. Who will I vote for this year? I don't know. I am an Independant and like you, only want the best person for the job.

Tony, Wilton, ME   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

From the sound of things on this forum, Star, National Enquirer and Weekly World News are legitimate sources of news.

I suspect those who defend the peoples' right to know about an adulterous BJ and the spouse's reaction to such are either looking for vicarious thrills or hate the Clintons so much they'll attack anything to do with the family.

I'm reminded on a pack of wolves.

Richard   April 9th, 2008 12:25 pm ET

Yes it's an awkward question for anyone to answer! Even more for the daughter of the former President of the U.S. But let's be very honest about the entire situation. If you want the issue to be private then you should have directed that back to the person who advised your father to go public about the tramp he had sexual relations with. Had he never gone public you could treat this as a private matter of "he say / she say". Instead the entire world heard about his infidelity and the mockery he made of his family and you actually think people don't want to know about it. If I were Chelsea I would answer the question to put it to rest. Lets see the guts of the former first daughter and potentially future first daughter. Let the American people know how the "Clintons" handle brutal adversity. Besides it's better to clear up this situation then loose support from the American People if and when Hillary takes office.

Katherine   April 9th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

I think bringing up this issue is in the poorest taste and I am wondering if it is a ploy to distract voters from the real issues. I don't think what President Clinton did was anyone's business and between a husband and wife. The GOP is grasping at any straws, but, they just need to look at the last 6 years to see what a mess this country is in. Whoever is elected has a daunting task before them.

I agree PJ   April 9th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

The tone and character of the Obama supporters make me want to vote anything but democratic if Obama gets the nomination. It makes me sick to hear what some of these kids are like.

I think Bill and Hillary raised an exceptional young woman, and is someone this whole country should be proud of.

Ya'll sound like Rev Wright, all of you, no matter what kind of opportunities you have in this world, it's all poor me and hate hate hate.

Is this how you intend to change American, by making it a mean, hateful, small place full of idiots?

cinco   April 9th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

Chelsea made it our business when she chose to campaign for her mother. She's an adult. By her curt answer we all know it's still a big factor. Money can make people stay together for many, many, years. Add to that political ambition and a couple may never officially part.

There's little similiarities between the Monica issue and Pastor Wright. Senator Obama nor Pastor Wright are/were in the White House-governing our country. People say and do things all the time. Adults have to be accountable for their actions. Anyone in the public view should be intelligent and articulate enough to answer for their decisions.

patty   April 9th, 2008 12:26 pm ET

How can you actually put in some of these morons comments about Chelesa. "She has to suffer the pain" becuase she enjoyed the benefits. These people are nuts. Please, stop reporting on Lewinsky, and people - stop asking Chelesa about Lewinsky. I bet the majority of people acting so holy about the issue are just plain frauds and have quite a few "sins" of their own.

This is not a campaign about issues - its about slander.

Knowledge is Power   April 9th, 2008 12:27 pm ET

Mark, VA   April 9th, 2008 12:27 pm ET

Again, another non-issue taking up valuable time. Bill is not running. If anything this should help Hillary with the sympathy vote.

Ron   April 9th, 2008 12:27 pm ET

I am an undecided voter and frankly I want to know how this scandal will effect her potential Presidency. It cost me (taxpayer) $42million to find out if it happened, making it my business. If the Clinton girl is uncomfortable answering these questions, she should blame her dad not me. If this issue cannot or will not be addressed, it will appear as though there is a lack of confidence or maybe something to hide. And PJ, resort to name calling like a quality Democrat…. sheesh.

Same old Clinton line! American voters need to know about Bill and Penn's support of Columbia deal. American voters need to know why Hillary has lied about Penn's "firing." Penn is still there advising and on the pay roll. The issue on Monica is Hillary's continuing problem…why else would her adviser Lanny Davis break up Reverend Wright again. If Hillary and her hit men think that is an issue, then Monica and Flowers and others are also fair game issues. Another issue that needs to revisited is Hillary's lies about sniper fire in Bosnia. Tit for tat!

Hillary is a loser!

Tim   April 9th, 2008 12:27 pm ET

Anyone who thinks this is fair game is a loon.

Frank   April 9th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

How old is she again….28…..going to 29……How old was Monica Lewinsky again? About the same age…….Chelsea needs to understand that Bill did not view Monica as a young kid who needed respect and love……..

Nikole   April 9th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

Thank you for insulting the intelligence of Obama supporters, but whether or not you consider me a moron, I will continue to support him because I'm sorry, but the Wright controversy is as irrelevant as Monica Lewinsky. Obama is neither racist nor anti-America and if you can't see that, then you are as blind as the rest of Hillary's supporters.

I feel sorry for Chelsea Clinton because the questions are being aimed at her, but at 28 years old she should be able to stand up and handle them a little better than she is currently. Maybe if she stopped cutting them down so often and just answered them, they would stop happening.

Sam from NJ   April 9th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

I agree. She cannot hide behind the "personal business" excuse.

and to Belle:

if this is the position that you are taking, then the Wright thing needs to be buried as well!!

its funny how hillary supporters LOVE to get back the the "issues" when the heat is on hillary, but would love to sit still and talk about wright—-> get over it (in your own words!)

OBAMA 08!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nasi   April 9th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

Right on PJ, the only Democrat I will vote for is Hillary. If , God forbid, Obama gets it. I would rather vote for Mc Cain. A vote for Obama is a vote for hot air, a vote for Hillary is a vote for compentency and experience!

texas   April 9th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

Obama supporters are only calling attention to Lewinsky so the public's attention is taken off Rev. Wright's involvement with Obama. If Obama didn't agree with the sermons he should have walked out of that church and taken his two small daughters and wife as well. Can you imagine what his two daughters believe in after sitting there those years that are the most impressive years in a childs life??? Yes, Obama can disown Rev. Wright, he isn't blood but he won't because he agrees with him.

BH   April 9th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

Obama supporters are really morons. Put yourself in Chelsea's shoe and imagine about it for a moment.

Ann   April 9th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

is she married by the way or dating anybody? juts asking. She is old enough for that, isn't she?

J.R.   April 9th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

She should just say that it was a difficult time for her mother and the country and she is proud of how her mother remained strong throughout it all. That isn't so hard, is it? She is drawing unwanted attention to the matter by refusing to address it.

Maria   April 9th, 2008 12:28 pm ET

If they want to know about Monica, ask - Hillary. For cripes sake, this is really stupid on the part of the people asking the daughter and on the part of the media.

Ask Hillary if you want to know, period!

Herman LA, CA   April 9th, 2008 12:29 pm ET

Hey PJ New Your,

That just the point it has a lot to do with her running for president because when she has to go into the oval office it will bring back remembered and will be distracting to her doing her job. This is just one reason why we don't want the Clintons back into the white house we tax paying Americans do not want to revisit this pain staking tragedy again.

Obama 08!!!

D-Man   April 9th, 2008 12:29 pm ET

PJ, New York;

It is people like you that makes no sense at all. I am a Hillary supporter, but I feel asking Chelsea about Monica is more relavant than asking Obama about his pastor. The reason why is because the Monica thing happen on our dollar while Bill and Hillary was on our tax dollars. She stayed and this in away showed weekness and disconcern about how women around the world should stop accepting man bad treatment and disrespect. If Chelsea is talking for her mom than she to should be question. I support Hillary but would like to know why Chelsea agreed with her mom on the Bosnia lie, she was there. The reason I say it is people like you that makes no sense is because Hillary is running for the Democratic party and for you to say if she is not the nominee you would vote for McCain that is crazy. You and others like you on both sides have taken this thing to personnal, you would rather vote for McCain a person who would keep the U.S on the same path we are on now because your personal choice for the Democratic Nominee did not win. This election is what is best for America not what is best for one person I think you have lost sight of that.

I support Hillary but will back Obama one hundred percent over McCain. You need to settle down and think about your choice for America.

Michael Guinn- Ventura, CA   April 9th, 2008 12:29 pm ET

I am an Obama supporter and I think the Lewinsky question is totally irrelevant to this campaign and they need to knock it off.
So PJ- when you say we Obama supporters are "morons" I think you may want to not generalize.
As far as Hillary supporters voting for McCain—now that IS moronic!

Ginny CA   April 9th, 2008 12:29 pm ET

I am a lifelong Democrat but I'll switch to McCain in a heartbeat if Obama wins the nomination.

Shannon   April 9th, 2008 12:29 pm ET

I don't think the public should be asking her this question and its not because I believe that its none of our business, but because it really has absolutely nothing to do with her mother running for office. It's her mother … not her father who is running for office and it was her father … not her mother who had the affair with ML.

Now if her father were running again or was nominated for some position - yes by all means I think the question could and should legitimately be asked.

Sharon in Oakland, CA   April 9th, 2008 12:29 pm ET

I am an Obama supporter and I agree with Ms. Morris the Purdue student, at this point the Monica Lewinsky question is only being asked to get attention. I remember being asked by a local reporter what I thought about the issue when it happened. My answer is the same now as it was then, I don't care what Bill Clinton did or with who, where or why. If Hilary was okay with it, I certainly was. It is so ironic that the issues I was concerned about then, I am still concerned about today. I am deeply concerned about health care, education, affordable housing, and decent jobs. It seems as though nothing has changed, everything has stayed the same (except for the CLINTON's income!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Devin   April 9th, 2008 12:29 pm ET

Who cares about the issue with Lewinsky. What about her economic policy expectations and budgeting. How will the government be ran. How will we clean up supersites. How will be reduce spending and create effeciencies. How will certain powers and rights be delegated to states and their residents. Can we talk about real issues and not what is on the cover of "Political Enquirer" Everyone has a personal life..but what I care about is how much country is going to be ran not about sexual escapades. We are too easily side tracked about issues that DIRECTLY affect policies and strategies that run the Government. We are to attached to our media and by topics that side track the REAL problems. Let's get a grip…here we are a nation that votes for people based on one elemental factors.. How about we vote on the entire package. Not..well this person doesn't like abortion so thats it..thats the only reason why I'm voting fo
