Obama said Thursday he’d lay off the speeches for a while if he could.

LAFAYETTE, Indiana (CNN) – Democrat Barack Obama told an Indiana audience Thursday afternoon that he doesn't like hearing the sound of his own voice as much as some people might think.

After first mentioning that there was a time when presidential rival Hillary Clinton was "really hammering away" at him by saying he was more of a talker than a doer, the Illinois senator said, "She's not doing it as much now. I guess because it wasn't working."

But, said Obama, it's "not just because I like hearing myself talk."

"I promise you, after 15 months (on the trail so far) I would be happy to take a vow of silence and not say a word. I'd be happy just to sit in an office somewhere and solve all kinds of problems without ever having to give a speech."

Guess what Obama? We'd like it if you took that vow of silenece NOW! We are also sick of hearing you. Why don't you just gracefully step down, and let the real work begin with Hillary defeating McCain and take back the White House?

Jeff Spangler, Arlington, VA   April 10th, 2008 9:19 pm ET

How about taking the middle ground– stop shouting platitudes about change at us and quietly tell us in specific terms what your positions are on all the issues and how you intend to achieve your desired results?

DC Insider   April 10th, 2008 9:20 pm ET

Oh great if Obama gets elected he is going to isolate himself in an office and solve all our problems. Well, many voters would like to see the first half of that plan —

Petra   April 10th, 2008 9:21 pm ET

A vow of silence? We love your speeches… and we know you don't like to hear yourself talk. You are not in this as a 'beauty' contest. You believe in change otherwise you would have caved in to the #2 spot when the party elders had Hillary coronated at the beginning.

Either way… Vow or no vow; you inspire so many of us.

Go, Obama

Michael   April 10th, 2008 9:22 pm ET

Maybe Hillary could take you out for a night on the town with the $800,000.00 her and bill got from Columbia to speak on behalf of free trade. Now because she is running for president she is telling(lied to) Ohio and Pa she is against free trade. Oh my God you have got be kidding.

Sue   April 10th, 2008 9:23 pm ET

At least when he does speak, it is with honesty and purpose, something Clinton does not how how to do. Her answer to serious questions is "How many angels sit on the head of a pin" followed with derisive laughter. I hope she keeps on talking until she cannot remember which lie she told and to whom!

Ben   April 10th, 2008 9:23 pm ET

Please don't because you are winning and we like when you are making noise. I listen to you even when there is no point I am waiting for!

CNN is twisted!   April 10th, 2008 9:24 pm ET

Wow. CNN, are you on the Clinton payroll? Oh, I forgot that Candy Crowley was at the event tonight where Obama was joking about hearing himself speak! CNN, give me a break. How about you talk about Hillary stating that she will pull out of Iraq even if the military doesn't advice her to do so because it's a civilian decision! She told the NYT this today!

MD   April 10th, 2008 9:25 pm ET

I think it should be Hillary Clinton who should take a vow of silence. America has had enough of her lies.

James   April 10th, 2008 9:25 pm ET

jdona, do you know math at all. Tell your people Hillary and mccain to go away with their lobbyists. They will no longer drown our voices! Fresh face fresh voice! No country for old men

North Carolina   April 10th, 2008 9:25 pm ET

Is that a fact? Perhaps Sen. Clinton figured she had made her point. You finally chaired your subcommittee after more than a year, which (as she pointed) was the only real responsibility with which you had ever been charged. But she's right: all you do is talk, and these comments of yours embody that fact.

Barack Obama's Record

Housing: In the U.S. Senate, Obama introduced the STOP FRAUD Act to increase penalties for mortgage fraud and provide more protections for low-income homebuyers, well before the current subprime crisis began.

Predatory Lending: In the Illinois State Senate, Obama called attention to predatory lending issues. Obama sponsored legislation to combat predatory payday loans, and he also was credited with lobbying the state to more closely regulate some of the most egregious predatory lending practices.

American Jobs: Barack Obama introduced the Patriot Employer Act of 2007 to provide a tax credit to companies that maintain or increase the number of full-time workers in America relative to those outside the US; maintain their corporate headquarters in America; pay decent wages; prepare workers for retirement; provide health insurance; and support employees who serve in the military.

GREAT IDEA!
Seeing that you have already won the democratic convention, won the most states, the most delegates, the popular vote, all the young folks, the mamas and grandmamas, and 90% of you know whom - why don't you just take a vacation until August, save your money, save your voice so that you can hit John with all your usual speeches (by that time most of the people would have forgotten them and they'll appear fresh again!)

Look forward to hearing you again in September with hopefully some Fresh stuff and maybe some real solutions.

I am always surprised at folks who demand specifics from the candidates. Especially people who are so adept at the internet. Go to Obama's web site it is all right there in great detail. I am sure it is on HIllary's site too.
As to how Obama will achieve results? He is building a base of support that will demand results from our lawmakers, it is up to all of us to make change happen. Hi is a bottom up strategy. Build your base big enough and you have less to push against and more people pushing with you.

Gina   April 10th, 2008 9:34 pm ET

As time goes on, Hillary is starting to realize she can't win.
No need to waste your time, voice and money

I believe Hillary is trying to run Obama out of money, that is why she is staying in the race

However, Bill is still the Chief of the NAFTA venture with Penn..
I hope PA take notice that they are still working behind the smoke screen to transport more jobs overseas. Being paid $800,000 so you tell me, who doesn't like USA, its Bill Clinton & Penn, sending all the jobs overseas.. Wake up USA..

her husbands $800,000 deal with Columbia. Bosnia story was funny.
Columbia story was laughable all day long because she couldn't
answer the questions. She laughs all the way to the bank of Dubai.
With Hillary it is a new lie everyday. If she cannot lie because she will
get hammered, she just laughs, and laughs, and laughs. Real Character and real scruples she has. Huh!!!

How about Clinton's new view?   April 10th, 2008 9:37 pm ET

"The New York Times reports: (4/10/08)

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton reiterated her campaign pledge to begin withdrawing troops from Iraq within 60 days of taking office, and added on Thursday that she would carry out the policy regardless of the advice she might receive from military commanders. "

"Well, let me just describe to you the way our system works," Mrs. Clinton said. "Policy is set by the civilian leadership. The president of the United States sets the policy. Our military, and thankfully so, carries out the policy that is set. You ask the military for their best advice about how to implement the policy that you have set."

Are you there or are you afraid of looking misogynistic?

Yes, Sen. Obama please do take a vow of silence. Lord knows you've been taking a vow of silence when it comes to your voting record during your junior term in the U.S. Senate. You missed what, something like 40% of the votes put before the Senate?

If it's not convenient for you to show up for Senate votes, will it be convenient for you to answer those 3:00am phone calls? Or will you just let that phone ring, and ring, and ring, and ring…..

To "jdona", the first post - Why should Obama step down when he's the front-runner? You may be sick of him, but most of us out here think he's got a lot to offer.

And to "Jeff Spangler", the second post - Obama HAS outlined his positions and policies on virtually every subject that's come up. We heard his thoughts on Iraq in a detailed speech he gave as well as in his recent questioning of Petreus. We've heard about his health care plans in numerous debates. We've heard where he stands on immigration in debates as well. We've also heard all about his economic plans in recent weeks at the same time that we heard from all three candidates about their plans. We've heard where he stands on pretty much every subject that's been raised….race, the housing crisis, same sex marriage, spousal abuse, the environment, his plan to reward volunteer work with tuition credits, everything. Honestly, if you don't know what the specifics of Obama's positions are at this point, then you simply haven't been listening…so don't blame your lack of awareness on anyone but yourself.

In response to L Daniel's comment about Obama's visionary foretelling of the mortgage crisis:

WASHINGTON, DC — On the heels of reports that the housing market experienced its worst sales-month in 18 years and foreclosures are up 47% compared to last year, Senators Barack Obama (D-IL) and Dick Durbin (D-IL) today reintroduced the STOP FRAUD Act, legislation that combats mortgage fraud and abuse. In less than five years, there has been a 137 percent increase in the number of cases of mortgage fraud and abuse being investigated by the FBI.

Oh please, please take a vow of silence! It would be so nice to not her your constant twisting of facts, reiterating issues that Hillary has already introduced earlier, lying, stammering, stuttering, and whining about how you've been picked on. Please do us that favor.

this man is awesome — nothing like his politically bull-crappin' opponents — all they seem to want to do is talk a bunch of jive and collect money from PACS and lobbyists!

GO OBAMA — WE LOVE YOU!!

Lucille   April 10th, 2008 10:20 pm ET

Unbelievable! He knows nothing about the issues now he lets us know that he knows nothing about the job if he thinks that he can lock himself up in his office and sit by himself at a desk and solve the problems facing this country. He reminds me of a guy I worked with once that went to another company because they offered him the manager's position. He had very little experience. The people who worked for him were all experienced professionals. He locked himself in his office daily because he had no idea how to resolve problems or to lead his staff. He was just too inexperienced. He actually was scared to death to come out because he might give advise that would show his incompetency. Of course the people in his office complained about his lack of ability and he was let go. Oh my God it seems like deja vu!

FactCheck   April 10th, 2008 10:20 pm ET

At least every other word out of Obama's mouth isn't a blatant, incontrovertible, USDA approved, 100% lie… right Mrs. Clinton?

Peter   April 10th, 2008 10:21 pm ET

Wish he would take that vow now. Obama should go back o his senate office and work on trying to fix some real issues. But that might make to much sense because obviously Obama is for regressive policies so any problems he may fix will only be done trough typical leftist non-working ideas. He has been fishy since the beginning and continues to be secretive and slowly less reliable.

New York   April 10th, 2008 10:27 pm ET

Yes please Barack do us all a favor and be quiet.
Don't speak again until you have a clear and concise plan on how you plan on fixing the problems of america.
For months all we have heard from you is change. But never how you plan on doing all this change. Oh right, you have to wait for Hillary to say how she's going to change America and then reword it and call it your own.
Please be quiet go home and let the real people who care about America stand up for it.
Oh and take your racist reverend your' finally' proud of america wife and crook Resko friend with you.
Everyone keeps saying how he's won more states, more delegates, getting more superdelegates, high in polls. yet he can't win the nomination unless Hillary drops out. So if you have all this and still can't win maybe it's time for you to drop out of the race.

JP PA   April 10th, 2008 10:27 pm ET

It is good sometimes to listen than to talk. Example Bill
Clinton iwasadding more lies to his speech in supporting Hillary in the campain. Better get the facts before you speak. We are all tired of your lies. I guess that is how the Clintons work. "Feathers are things you can see, if you blew them out, you cannot get them all back. " Words are things you cannot see, how can you take them all back"?

Obama 08

Keep your "change" as it will not put food on the table nor roofs over the heads of the unemployed. We need Jobs & Dollars. You keep the change. President Hillary Clinton will put our country back on the road to economic recovery.

Julie Singh Oregon   April 10th, 2008 10:27 pm ET

Dee: "he looks like a person unbecoming of a president"? Learn to speak properly before you criticize another's looks.

Jon   April 10th, 2008 10:33 pm ET

He is definantly showing that he can't stand through this campaign and every week another skeleton pops out of his closet. Can we expect to have a new president to just get in the office, kick up their feet, and do nothing? We have a number of issues that can't wait for someone to learn how to be President. Obama should stay in the Senate for a bit longer before playing in the big leagues.

Marc   April 10th, 2008 10:34 pm ET

The people of PA really need to know just who donated money to the Clinton campaign. I wonder if people who are for NAFTA donated money and also if Marc Rich donated money to Hillary's campaign. Remember him, the guy who received a pardon from Bill, after his wife gave the Clinton's millions of dollars. I'm telling you people, Hillary is going to get a big pay day if you let her Universal Health Care go through. The people in Germany are crying right now because they have the same Universal Health Care Plan that Hillary wants. They received a mandate and they never knew how much iit would cost them. Now they are crying and there is nothing they can do about it. At least Obama is for the same thing, but he knows it will not be easy and at least we will know how much we have to pay into the medical plan. It gives us the choice, not make us pay for something we cannot afford. Wake up America.

Obama 08

ok, for all the dumb people in here, he is being metaphorical by never wanting to speak again. if you had to speak every day for a year with little to no rest, you'd wanna take a break, whether the break is a weekend or w/e. secondly, war is exactly not wat America needs right now (so Mccain is out of the question i guarentee you that many of mccain votes will be based on the fact that he is a white male, not a black man or a woman.)
secondly, the clintons have had enough scandals in the white house to last a lifetime, lets move on

Ray from Gainesville VA   April 10th, 2008 10:44 pm ET

An Obama supporter here. I do not agree with all of his policies but I agree with his direction. He wants to get the people involved with government again. He wants to open up Washington unlike Bush who doesn't want us knowing anything. Obama doesn't want yes men and women on his staff like Bush has. He says it's ok to disagree and doesn't think it's unamerican like Bush does. It's refreshing and exciting to hear something different. We need to hold him to it when he's elected but I believe he will stay true to his word. I am so disappointed with the Bush administration and members of Congress. I don't trust anything that comes out of their mouths and that's truly sad. I don't hate Clinton personally. I just hate her win at all costs attitude and her lies, sorry, mispeaks, attest to who she really is or could be as President. Didn't we have enough of that the last 8 years? No one is perfect…not even Obama. But I have to give him my vote because he brings something new and fresh to the table. I think this is just what America and the world needs right now.

Terry   April 10th, 2008 10:45 pm ET

Don't stop talking Senator Obama…you are head and shoulders above Clinton and McCain. Listening to Hillary Clinton is like listening to fingernails on a blackboard and if you need a good nap McCain's speech will do the trick.

I much prefer listening to Obama speak. He has great insight and vision. When I listen to Hillary I keep hearing, "you know", or she gets testy about something, or she laughs at the questions.
Who laughs at questions? Thats rude. And the question goes unanswered.
And now you never know if shes telling the truth or if she means what she says.
I mean she was all for the war in Iraq and now that she wants to be the winnner she says she is not.
This doesn't match.
Also her relationship with Penn just seems hypocritical.
Oh and there was the nasty sniping at Richardson because he did not pick her. I like Richardson and they intended to hurt him. They are nasty.
And her daughter and her snotty attitude over the Lewinsky questions. She gave the impression of being a complete rich snob. Yuk.

John , Signal Mountain, Tennessee   April 10th, 2008 10:48 pm ET

yeah, like whatever, right.

jana   April 10th, 2008 10:50 pm ET

I am a 56 year-old woman who will vote Republican if Hillary is not the Democratic candidate - one of the 33% Clinton supporters. I do not understand his appeal. Why is an inexperienced, junior Senator from Illinois, someone who has, yet, to explain Rezko, and why he lied in the MLK day debate about him, someone who didn't help the people in his own Chicago district when they were in Rezko's slum apartments, someone who has yet to really explain how he could consider Rev. Wright his spiritual mentor for the past 20 years - why does the Democratic party think this person might be the best democrat they can put forth as a candidate? I guess I never "got" the Obama charisma. He's like a teenager to me - lots of idealistic talk, but yet to really be tested.

Imagine no libs   April 10th, 2008 10:52 pm ET

I want to watch all of the female Hillary supporters switch to McCain and vote against a womans right to choose.

Wouldn't that be ironic.

Silly democrats, no wonder you can't win an election….

Jean   April 10th, 2008 10:53 pm ET

All Obama does when he opens his mouth is lie. You Obama lovers is a joke. He's all talk and no action. The bills that he supposely got past is BS. WAKE UP AMERICA AND GET THIS SOB OUT OF THE RACE BEFORE IT'S TO LATE. GO HILLARY WE KNOW YOU CAN DO IT. JEAN

Van   April 10th, 2008 10:55 pm ET

I'd sure be happy when all this is over and Obama becomes the next president.

I prefer Obama, but if Hillary wins the nomination I'd vote for her. I don't understand the 33% of Hillary supporters that wouldn't vote for Obama otherwise.

That makes me wonder… why exactly are they even voting for their candidate? The fact that these two are fairly similar is good enough for me, I'd like to see either of them win, but I prefer Obama. Maybe the 33% of Hillary supporters don't care that we'll stay in Iraq, I'm certain that 33% doesn't have any family or friends overseas.

I hope that either combination they're both on the same ticket come November, together McCain wouldn't stand a chance. I pray that that happens. I wouldn't want any other VP for Obama than Clinton, and I wouldn't want any other VP for Clinton than Obama.

rachel   April 10th, 2008 10:56 pm ET

Please do, anyways I think everything you stand for can be summed up in about 4 seconds. The time you showed your typical white granny in your ad. Obama man your gonna need hillary's supporters to win the white house so you better start reaching out to them, and Michelle asking people to get her more white people is not the way

V in CA   April 10th, 2008 10:56 pm ET

Well, I guess you'd better drop your bid for the Presidency, then. Presidents give a LOT of speeches.

Why is it every time you say anything, one can detect the self-pitying tone?

Kristian   April 10th, 2008 10:57 pm ET

A vow of silence may be what the country needs. A President who's actions are louder than his/her words would do us some good. Too many just talk the talk.

Isaac   April 10th, 2008 11:00 pm ET

I don't buy it. Obama loves to hear himself talk. I, however, who once watched his DNC speech over and over again, can't wait til he stops now. He has dragged this whole process down and turned it into a gameshow. Tell me again why we want to elect this guy? Change? Inspiration? Sorry but to me he is full of himself and full of half-lies, mistruths, and is completely opportunistic. I do give him credit though for figuring out a way to full such a large chunk of the population as well as the media.

DG of Minneapolis, MN   April 10th, 2008 11:01 pm ET

he used to be inspiring to some, before they figured out he's not really about hope and change, but about more of the same–talk, talk, talk…

somehow the picture of him sitting behind a desk doesn't really sound too much like change, or all that hopeful…

Justin   April 10th, 2008 11:02 pm ET

With each post I read that says childish, senseless things about Hillary Clinton, I picture a pimply faced teen sitting at a parent's computer. Can we please stick to the issues? Comments about a candidates voice or what their spouse said or did have little importance to voters with any sense of what this country needs. So grow up already.

Its crazy to see people say they think the leader in delegates, votes, and states should step down to the #2 in all of these categories.

With the vote as close as it is in Penn., Obama will certainly end the delegate race far ahead of Clinton as he will win in landslide victories in many of the remaining states.

Its Over!

Obama Won!

I also would like to stop hearing you say, as I heard yesterday, that you would love to get on with it and have a great debate with a great patriot like John McCain.

I am almost too tired to point out the problem here… But… didn't Bill Clinton say almost exactly the same thing? And didn't Hillary get resoundedly criticized over and over again for ignoring Barack in those comments and thus implying that he was not a worthy patriot?

Why does the media continue to push the hypocrisy and the double-standard that is occuring daily in these campaigns!!!!!

Senator Obama does not need a vow of silence in our home. I hit the mute button on the remote control. I used to call it the "Bush Button" but now the mute button belongs to the junior senator next door and is called the "Obama Button." FYI: I was on the phone all afternoon for my candidate at a phone bank in anticipation of the May 6th primary. I spoke with a lot of Hoosiers downstate and they were split about fifty-fifty for McCain and Clinton. I did not encounter anyone considering Obama.

Disenfranchised Voter   April 10th, 2008 11:12 pm ET

NOT!

Obama can talk and explain to us why Michelle Obama ask for more "White People" to stand behind her while she gave a speech yesterday. Lou Dobbs reported it last night. This woman has more nerve than anyone I have ever seen. Maybe some of the white Obama supporters will get a chance to stand behind Michelle one day. Unbelieveable!!!!!

Delaware   April 10th, 2008 11:13 pm ET

Way to go Obama! Hillary Clinton keep telling us lied about NAFTA like we forget that she was behind Bill during all those NAFTA meeting supporting him. Now that she want to be elected, she telling us that she opposed NAFTA. Come Hillary Clinton stop lying.
Also she keeps lying about her experience, what kind of experience that Hillary has that Obama does not have? Has she been president before? no! neither is Obama. Madamme Hillary your age does not qualify you as a president or give you any experience as a president unless you have been president before. This go for John McCain also. His age does not qualify him as a president or gives him any experience as one. If you want to talk about havimg experience as a president, George Bush, and Bill Clinton can say so because they have been president before. When it come to experience, Hillary, Obama, and McCain have the same experience but Obama has better judgment. We need a president with good judgment that can do things with our ally not to isolate us and give us more ennemies around the world.

The reason he doesn't care to "talk"??
Because he is an ACTION man!!!
He doesn't spin, twist or lie to us…unlike Clinton.
He shoots straight from the hip!!
He isn't politically corrupt like the Clintons…..he actually cares about this country and NOT himself or how he comes off.
His actions speak louder than words….and it will be like that when he is our President too!!
Clinton thinks we're all fools…..and that we believe she actually cares about us who have lost our jobs……while she and Bill are raking in MILLIONS, partly earned from giving PRO NAFTA speeches.

The guy is humble.

And for all the haters who label words of motivation, positivity, power and change as "hot air," it's pretty sad, because Obama's fund-raising, leadership and extraordinarily organized campaign speaks for itself.

Say what you want about this leader, but unfortunately, you and your negativity towards him, will be the true hot air.

Obama, Obama, Obama: GO Champion! You make us proud beyond imagination–and unlike your running mates, you don't have a scary ego to go with it. You're a star, and the world can't wait till you show these hates what it means to shine!!!

Pro-Democracy   April 10th, 2008 11:15 pm ET

Close your eyes and picture the debate of all debates! Picture Hillary standing next to McCain and now picture Obama next to McCain. Now listen as they give their opening comments regarding the future of this country. Who is best suited to bring this country together? Who is best suited to bring grace and dignity back to the White House?, Who is a person first and politician second? Embrace change and be part of this wonderful historic moment, Vote Obama the next President of the greatest country in the world.

A&A   April 10th, 2008 11:15 pm ET

The first thing out of your evil double-talking mouth that I can concur with.

Unfortunately… like all your other comments, this is just empty talk.

Make us all happy and actually stick a sock in it.

Chris Catalfamo   April 10th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

I think it will be sheer poetry to have Obama in the White House on the 150th anniversary of the Civil War and Emancipation Proclamation. I think his message that it is "we the people" who must revive and energize democracy with our full civic engagement and not one politician or another is much more important than the details of his policies–which, like any politician's, are subject to what happens on the floor of Congress as well as the compromises that are part of policy making. I believe Obama is the way of the future; that his populist ideology, his character and integrity and wisdom will make him an outstanding national and global leader. That he will inspire us to take back our government and our country from special interests. And I think those two little girls in the White House alone will cause a paradigm shift in American identity that restores our hope and our faith in ourselves and our country. I have not felt this way about a candidate since Bobby Kennedy when i was 15 in 1968 And if he loses–I think we will have lost a remarkable opportunity that may not arise again at the time when we seem to need it most.

For the environments sake, please do take that vow of silence. We already have global warming and your hot air is only adding to it………….

rita   April 10th, 2008 11:18 pm ET

Obama who?

Belle   April 10th, 2008 11:19 pm ET

You should hear Obama talk….

"I don't recall having any conversations with Rezko about the house."

"I don't know exactly how much Rezko donated to the campaigns over the years."

"I don't remember meeting Auchi."

"I don't recall the non-profit companies I worked on as an attorney that were in partnership with Rezko."

"I don't recall hearing divisive comments from Rev. Wright."

"I don't remember writing any letters supporting Rezko's buildings."

'Are you ready America? Ready to do something different? Ready to veer away from the same old politics in Washington?"

barry   April 10th, 2008 11:19 pm ET

when john mccain is president…you heard it here…you can hold howard dean….nancy palosi…harry reid and cnn responsible….
it's too bad they are so anti clinton….blame yourselves….

Smart   April 10th, 2008 11:19 pm ET

Yes stop the talk. It will even be a good idea if you droped out of the race so our presidential cycle will continue.

George Bush - Bill Clinton - George Bush II - Hillary Clinton - George Bush III - Chelsea Clinton …

These are the owners of the White house so do not be jealous!

At lease we alternate, unlike the Castros; Fidel - Raul …

America please support the unbeatable dynasty!!!

It is refreshing to actually root for someone. I am so excited about his candidacy. With Hillary I'm bored to tears, and I also feel she is in an exclusive club that regular people can't join. She only comes down off the mountain when she needs votes.

Go away Hillary, as soon as you lose this election.

Obama 08

enoughalready   April 10th, 2008 11:21 pm ET

electing someone should not be based on personality and a slogan yes we can which is borrowed from the cartoon bob the builder. we need someone with true solutions, and that is not barack.

Bean Counter, Motor City, MI   April 10th, 2008 11:21 pm ET

Maybe this guy is different…how do you know when a politician isn't telling the truth…his lips are moving.

Barack you are no different.

Nina   April 10th, 2008 11:21 pm ET

Typical White Person   April 10th, 2008 11:23 pm ET

Go away, little boy - you're out of your league

You're just a silly little boy who reads prepared speeches well - oh, and you also have black skin, which you've used to your advantage at every opportunity - you play the race card so well, it's almost as if you're the second coming of OJ - you're black when it suits you (such as when you forgave your racist minister and threw your typical white grandmother under the bus in your - LOL - HISTORICAL (or should I say HYSTERICAL?) famous (or should I say infamous?) - LOL - "race speech" - oh, it won't be forgotten, that's for sure, at least by CNN, who I think is totally in love with you - at least Jack Cafferty is - do Jack a favor - let him know your cell will NEVER vibrate against HIS thigh

Poor Jack, he'll probably cry himself to sleep every night for the rest of his life…."Barack doesn't want me, after everything I've done for him" - he'll be like that car commercial….

LOL - the biggest racist of all time asking all us typical white folks to admit we are racist because we found Reverend Uncle Looney Wright's sermons disgusting

I AM LOVING THE IRONY!!!!!!!!!! WHERE, OH WHERE are Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson when you REALLY need them!!!!!!! I'd LOVE to see them on Oprah discussing how RACIST white America is because they won't vote for an inept, inexperienced, stumbling, bumbling, racist Black man

OH, this is BETTER than Jerry Springer!!!!!

Peter Paul   April 10th, 2008 11:29 pm ET

McInsane wants more war, really?
McInsane hates war, really?

He knows nothing else folks, he will bleed this Country into the ground.

We are Safer because of the war in Iraq, I don't think so.

When can this war end, um, when there is more violence, I mean when there is less violence, I mean when I can figure out what is the difference between the two parties that want to kill each other, I mean when we have 10,000 troops killed, I mean when 200,000 Iraq people killed, I mean I have no clue.

On the housing crisis let the people figure it out thats what we do with our 100 million dollars safely in my wifes bank account, we struggle with the rest of the people.
Yes I see how you can feel our pain, no offense but I don't think the Clintons can either.

Vote for Obama 08

What kind of president that Hillary is going to be because she is already negotiating free trade with nation that previous governments Democrats and Republicans have avoided to have trade with for various reasons. Her and her advisor already negotiatiating with Columbia. What is next for Hillary trade agreements? May be Iran, Cuba, Syria, or Korea.
