McCain OR Rice could beat those pandering Democrats- Mrs. Hillary (Integrity) Clinton and Mr Barack (Change is good) Obama. I think either McCain or Rice could ably lead this country- so I have no objections to that ticket.
I am so tired of listening to those two spineless Democrats telling everyone anything they want to hear, never intending to fulfill any of their putrid bloated promises.

Other than Cheney, I can’t think of anyone with less credibility than Secretary Rice.

She epitomizes the concept of political “stooge”.

She was a poor National Security Advisor (Some advice she gave huh?)
She is an ineffective Secretary of State (has she accomplished anything?)

She really needs to go back to academia. She did a good job there and I think it is a more appropriate level for her.

Condi Rice is the smartest woman in America, and certainly meets the qualifications needed to be VP or President. Hillary is simply not qualified to be the leader of the Free World, and Obama is even less qualified.

Don't think that a McCain-Rice ticket can't win. It may not be a marriage of brains but great intellect wasn't an impediment to victory for several White House occupants – Nixon, Reagan and George W.Bush to name just a few in modern times. There were probably many more in the past who weren't hampered by a lack of grey matter either. What is truly disturbing is that so many Americans vilify their brightest president of the modern era – Jimmy Carter. It's too bad that there won't be anyone of his intellectual caliber (save perhaps Ralph Nader) on the ballot this November.

I've heard Secretary Rice state in interviews that she isn't interested in elected office, that the only job other than her Cabinet appt in which she's interested is commissioner of football. The poll sounds pretty accurate to me. I have voted Democratic since 1972. There is no way I will vote for a ticket that includes Obama. I will vote for McCain, no matter who his running mate is. I like the idea... Unlike Obama (who grew up in Hawaii and Thailand), Condi (who is 10 years older than Obama) actually lived through the civil rights struggle and overcame racism and inequality, and, once the American people have a chance to hear her story and learn who she is, could inspire people about the greatness and opportunity of our country (not all of those terrible things that someone's pastor likes to spew!!).

This poll is ludicrous. The only thing it really illustrates is the fact that voters are suffering from primary fatigue. Any advantages a McCain/Rice ticket would potentially hold would certainly be negated once the clueless independents realize that this would truly be a third Bush/Cheney term.

Condi is even smarter than Cheney, so it makes even less sense for a person of that mental capacity to have held the positions she has for so long. It's either a morally bankrupt lust for power, or there's something seriously wrong with her.
