Excuse me, but does anyone have a mind of thier own? Senator John McCain is not the President and his record proves he has not been a staunch supporter/follower of the President. Quit the rhetoric! Let's try to listen to the issues the nominees are discussing and make an intelligent decisions based on facts - not rhetoric! Quit the name calling and get down to work.

"Even if our country goes bankrupt, we still have the strongest military"
...and this is what's wrong with America today. Why this obsession among republicans with turning the middle east into one big democracy? Since when did it become the responsibility of the U.S. to be the world police? Personally, I think we have a moral responsibility to get the hell out of the middle east. We don't belong there!!!!!

I was one of those people who thought his approval rating would be at 28% six months after he became president. I was just off by seven years. It just took longer than I thought for people to figure him out.
Can I jump into my time machine now and fast forward to next January and a new president?

Please, quit the impeach slogan - why should Bush be impeached when Bill Clinton was impeached, and he was allowed to remain in office? According to our Constitution, once a high ranking official is impeached that person must be removed from office. Bill Clinton commited a misdeamor, and it clearly states in our Constitution that a high ranking official of the United States commiting a misdeamor shall be removed from office. How come Clinton was allowed to remain in office after his impeachment? If President Bush was impeached now, do you think he would actually be removed from office? The politicans do not have to abide by the Constitution - they set the rules and make changes to benefit themselves - pretty much what Hillary is/will be doing if she gets the nomination.

We don't have that much longer to go with the Bush's administration, and thank goodness, because that is when all the backstabbing and child's play will be with over between the two Democratic contenders and the one Republican.

I was hoping we could have had some more mature, responsible candidates to run for president, but unfortunately, we were denied that opportunity.

To Uncle Sam, Maybe the reason why Congress is so low is because there are over 300 congressmen and sentors. A lot of people to make alot of people mad.

April 22nd can't come quickly enough. The national media has way too much time on it's hands to analyze and pick apart every single word, phrase, pause, or look the candidates make. Neither candidate is perfect. I'm not so sure I would lik ethe perfect person to be in the White House. Will any of this help create more jobs, insure those with no heathcare, end the war, improve public education? I doubt it. Let's stop breaking down every speech to a sound bite and try to get back to addressing some serious, serious problems in our country....

All the sobbing about gas prices but still every other auto is a huge shiny pick up getting 12 MPG that's never carried anything more than a bag of groceries from safeway, gas is clearly still way too cheap in the U.S. Oversize vehicles and large gas bills, there is a clue in there people !

I guess it's already been said but, common! 28% is not nearly low enough. How can anyone think, "you know, President Bush is doing a good job... I approve." It seems unthinkable outside of his immediate family.

Whoa! Everybody calm down and get off his back!! He's not the worst ever! I get really upset when I hear this! He's second worse! If you read about the atrocities that Andrew Jackson committed then you would realize that Bush is only second worse. Why does everyone always try to take that distinction from Andrew Jackson? Who are these 28% and where have they been living the past seven years? How anyone can support him besides Cheney and Big Oil and a few others is beyond me.

Who remembers McCain's song " Bomb-Bomb-Bomb Iran? "

Bush + McCain = McBush's 3rd term in office. If you think gas prices
is high now, try voting in McCain and when you're kicking yourself for voting for him when you have to pay $8.00 a gallon in 2010.

The Bush/McCain Repubs want to attack Iran next and when the economy is at DEPRESSION LIKE LEVELS and gas prices is when you can afford to only drive around the corner. You have only yourself to blame.

I'm proud to say I have never voted for a Bush, and wont think about voting for McBush in 08. Our country is at a crossroads and we need a President with fresh ideas to revive our struggling economy, after the 8 years of incompetence and mismanagement by Bush.
I strongly support Sen. Obama.

Obama 08!!!

Who did you people poll? I polled one-hundred people, including myself. I couldn't find anyone that would give him a plus, including myself. I did get about seven or eight zeros. End result; minus ninty-two percent approval rating.

To me, the saddest thing about Mr. Bush is that hardly anyone believes any thing he says. Mr. Bush has lost all credibility, frankly he is a bold faced liar.
Yet he still goes in front of the public to make statements as if his words carry any real weight, in this country or any place else in the world...sad, sad, sad.

What is really sad, we will give them another 4 years, thanks to Obama. I know he will lose in November if he is the nominee. Oh well, time will tell. Maybe McCain won't be as bad as Bush, and we know he has tried to work with our party. This is partly why his party does not really rally behind him. He is not, a died in the wool republician.

I'm trying to visualize what that 28% looks like:

10% religious fanatics
10% stubborn like a mule, and about as smart
8% controls majority of wealth in America

Lynette I have two sons, a nephew and two nieces in Uniform. Three of them are in Iraq and my 18 yr old Marine will be going so that you can enjoy the Freedoms we offer in this country. Freedoms that wont last if the Islamic Radicals win in Iraq and spread their Jihad to the United States.

By the way I am a Vietnam Veteran and would gladly serve in place of my sons if the Government would take me. Do you get it now,
I love my country and the sacrifice is worth it.

If it's a mistake to pull out of Iraq then it's OUR mistake to make. 70% of the population want our troops home. Congress is elected to represent us, not tell us how it's going to be. A good leader knows how to listen. This goes for Clinton and Obama as well. I don't believe for a second that they will bring the troops home.

Does anyone remember the phrase "taxation without representation"? I don't feel that we are being represented.

I have never seen a leader of an industrialized world so blindly stubborn and arrogant in his decisions to "follow the course" no matter what. We are seeing the results of this "no matter what." But congress gave him the authorization (democrats and republics) to do so. I do not see congress (majority democrat) stopping him!

Oh, God, can we please stop talking about the Clinton versus Obama for one second? Even when the Blog has NOTHING to do with either one of them, someone has to come along and drag their names into it. NEWSFLASH: The petty bickering between them and their supporters needs to end if we are going to pull together and capture the moderate vote. The DNC needs to just decide and get busy defeating John McBush.

The biggest problem is he does not care what we think. He cannot seek re-election, due to term limits. The same thing would happen if the members of the House and Senate could not seek re-election. The current congress has not been able to get past the Republician fillibusters. The only way for true change is a 2/3 majority of the congress for the democrats. A simple majority cannot over ride a veto. Thus the log jam continues.

Its no wonder Bush's approval rate is low, the way stupid people
like Hillary tell so many lies about him. She is such a liar herself
she would not know it, if the truth hit her up beside the head. The news media also likes to talk about Bush and cnn is the worst.
He is our President and no matter what he does wrong ,he should be given respect. Nobody treated Bill Clinton as bad as they do Bush. .
After all Bill JUST LOOKED IN TO THE TV CAMERA'S and lied to the American people, about his affairs. Bill and Hillary should be sent to
......... And the news media has caused, along with Hillary, other countries to think bad of America. To be honest Bill Clinton left such a mess that it has taken a long time for Bush to fix it. Some things Bill did ARE NOT FIXABLE.

Great news for the McCain people because everybody knows that a vote for McCain is a vote for continuation of the Bush foreign policy and war in Iraq.

If his rating doesn't get to 10, I'll be surprised. Ten is the number of his bushies in the Whitehouse and they cannot defy him. I know there may be more bushies, but that is the number that is the closest to him.

I would like to see George W. Bush resign as president right now rather than wait until January 20, 2009.

Our country is sliding down a tube where we won't recover in all areas of society, from the economy to education, from health care to transportation, and on and on.

And if you think Bush has done it bad:

*endless war based on lies,
*not capturing BinLaden,
*terrible economy,
*destruction of cvil rights and the constitution,
*juicy contracts to Dick Cheney's friends,
*destruction of the United States' public image, standing and goodwill around the world,
*etc., etc. , etc.

You ain't seen nothing yet. Just wait for Bush's/Cheney's/Rice's third term under their proxy...John McWar, McShame, McSame, McCain.

How can any one man ruin a country in 8 years? Now, Bush had
help. Cheney, McMouse, Rice, Rove, Rumsfeld, Limbaugh, Ann
Coulter. Why if there is even a Republican Party after this, I will
be surprised. If your are a Republican and you have your name
anywhere on a Ballot, America can know you stand for the rich
man that scathed our land, and skimmed the top. With our taxes.
Oh, I forgot more help for the Bush "regime" Hannity. You lied
you cheated, you sold us down the river. And you can all move
to Dubai. It is going to take a miracle for Middle America to
recover, but I believe we can do it without Republicans. Please
Go away from our lives.
