CROWN POINT, Indiana – After a day of taking shots at rival Sen. Barack Obama over his "bitter" remarks, Sen. Hillary Clinton relaxed in Crown Point, Indiana and took a shot of a different kind – Crown Royal whiskey.

Clinton was at Bronko’s Restaurant having a beer when the bartender asked, “You want a shot with that Hillary?” After some deliberation, Clinton settled on a shot of Crown Royal, a Canadian whiskey.

Later in the evening, the Democratic presidential hopeful also sat down and had some pizza.

if obama fans believe obama will take the nomination then why are they so worried about what hillary supporters think? according to obama just let the uneducated bitter hillary supporters cling to their own personal comforts.... like beer and pizza and then dance to a little tune that goes " i have friends in low places...."

Great photo op– drinking the #1 American bought CANADIAN whiskey. That ought to set well with unemployed American workers–presidental canidate Hilliary supporting her husband, ex-president Bill's signing of the NAFTA treaty. Go Hilliary - you just put your food in your mouth AGAIN.

    Wow what groundbreaking news.

For the Obama supporters..Its not the word bitter that has people upset. Its the fact that Obama followed that by calling rural voters bigots who cling to guns and religion. Now he even regrets those comments, but he has not apologized. It would be okay if he said people were bitter and frustrated, but he didn't stop there. This was also said in a setting where he thought no one would hear him speak. He and all his supporters can try but the simple fact is he called millions of americans bigots.

Obama only connects during prepared speeches. When he is own his own he has no understanding about how most americans really feel. This is evident during debates when he stutters and has issues with the questions.

Obama made a mistake, a major one and he and his supporters should admit he did so.

The Clintons made $109 million last year. And nothing she ever does is not pre-meditated and calculated. She pulls this calculated "shot and beer" move to try to fool us into thinking she's one of us? And all of a sudden, she's pro-gun? When her husabnd wasn't.

This is what the Clintons are best at – lies and pandering. And some people are just stupid enough to fall for it. That's what frightens me.

Just thining. Why didn't HRC say this much about the race speech or any other Obama speech? She's just sitting there like a spider waiting to launch on the smallest thing. Then MSM like a bunch of ratings grabbing idiots is blowing it up.

I hope the HRC fans see the why your girl has gotten the easy ride in the media. Any misstep by Obama and he is up against the ropes having to fend her off. When it's her turn, she's got excuses (tired, misspoke, etc). I am so sick of this primary. When will it end?

STILLDON'TGETIT- You clearly lack to understand. Please tell me what part of the statement you posted WAS NOT the truth? People do vote on issues of religion or guns or racism when they are turned off and bitter. I am surprised that you have never met such a person.

Obama is on-point with his remarks. HRC is a political game player who will do anything to get elected. Do you really want your grandchildren to know that you voted for her?

This is a sign that the end is near. Hanging out in bars and shooting whiskey with the boys, the slippery slope back to the gutter from whence she came..

    Seriously...

THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE A GREAT ROLE MODEL FOR THE CHILDREN OF THIS COUNTRY???

What the heck were you thinking? Drinking? Getting coverage for it?

I am really concerned that she will be whomever the company is with wants her to be...how is that going to work with foreign policies?

I am bitter for the state of our beautiful American because of the
administration of the last 8 years. I will be bitter if a woman that
has taken part in selling our country down the river, ever makes
it to be President. I could not cast a vote for her. It would make
me sick and very ill. I just could not do it. And no McCain, either.
Sometimes I think Hillary is "one of them" She joined a prayer
group consisting of almost all the Republicans in office.
If a liar becomes President we will be laughed at. We are
about to continue the mess that we have already because her
    best friends are Republicans.

she'll be needing alot more to keep her going when Obama beats her in Pennsylvania! Let's see what other lies she can start!!!! She is losing ground quickly and she knows it. The American people know what she and her husband are about-LIES! We deserve a President who can be honest and bring about real change.

That was the weakest shot I have ever seen. For starters she only took a sip, and she wasn’t even talking to the locals, the whole time she was talking to that guy in the suit. I bet Obama would have thrown down an entire shot of American whiskey and had a good time with the locals.

How is her getting drunk fiting in with regular Americans?? Not all of us Americans get drunk... And I don't perticularly think she should be getting publically intoxicated, as that she is a public figure, and is supposed to be a role model for the youth. This is the second time I have seen her drinking on the job, just from CNN alone. Do we want someone who has to drink to make it through the day as President?

Do you really think the wealthy Obama fans drink only American wine and eat only American cheese? Grow Up. In Feb '08 Obama bragged that he didn't understand the not inhaling part because "inhaling is the point" to thunderous applause from the crowd. It's on tape CNN.
Hillary is TOO LEGIT to QUIT!

Hillary did exagerate her trip to Bosnia but GUESS WHAT ?? She was there and she has traveled to other countries to fight for rights of women, peace and numerous other stuff. Also, she seems to be the only one to have previoulsy taken up health care especially for children and she is still on that. And despite all the money they earned writing books we bought and the speeches Bill was paid for they still genuinely care about the American people and they always will. Heck with all that money they could just kick back on a yacht somewhere instead of going from town to town and they make more money out of the White House than in it...NO folks wake up the Clintons do care and should be in DC again and then we will all be working again and the budget could be balanced again and we would have someone that is proud all of their life of this country!! ...Barack is not black or white he is a mixed breed and bitter about it..when actually it is ok and most people no longer even notice as long as you are hard working, law abiding and patriotic. Just seeems that he is forever having to retract statements and put a different spin on them then what he said the first time. I do not trust him would rather have HRC at the helm. If not her than I will vote repub for the 1st time in my 66 years.
