Hillary Clinton aims to answer voter concerns in North Carolina through a series of ads.
Hillary Clinton aims to answer voter concerns in North Carolina through a series of ads.

(CNN)— Senator Hillary Clinton’s campaign released the second of a series of “NC Ask me” ads aimed at answering North Carolinian voter concerns.

The ad called “Tammie” comes one week after Clinton invited North Carolian’s to ask her “anything and everything.”

Tammie Bright, a working mother of three from Cherryville asks Clinton: “What are your plans on reducing the rising cost of gas?”

Clinton responds that she would “invest $150 billion in research and development of new kinds of energy.”

“Let’s put more hybrid vehicles on the fast track. And when we create new clean energies and technologies, we’ll be creating new jobs right here in North Carolina.”

According to Clinton’s campaign, they have received nearly 10,000 responses to their request for voters to submit their questions online. The campaign says that staff and volunteers will reply to each submission regardless of whether the query is chosen for an ad.

Every time I read a comment on here by an Obama supporter it smacks of desperation. Shouting for Hillary to get out of the race, or declaring that she's lost already, or demanding that she stops attacking Obama.

If you're confident that Obama will win, not only the primary, but the far more bitter battle against the Republicans, then why are you so obviously worried?

Why is that first comment posted on this blog???

This is getting out of control... I am starting to think that all Obama supporters are really angry individuals that will say and do anything...

CNN you need to quit posting all of this garbage written by bias individuals... comment about the actual story and talk about the issues... Not their issues with whomever!!!

The problem with Hillary is that she believes she has all the answers. that is what hs been ruining Washinton and America is tired of people that believe they have all the solutions only to lead us o more doom.

What we want is a listening President.

I used to admire her but now, .. I reserve my comment

Im a democrat and I'm kinda worried about Hillary Clinton promising all this money on all these programs. Not to say that the programs doesn't sound good, but it sounds to me she is promising everybody everything when we all know that its impossible to please everyone. Just be honest to people. We need to see a copy of her budget and ask how much is all her programs going to add to the national debt.

Obama 08: a fiscally responsible democrat

Spending $150B on alternative energy generation is a long term project and has absolutely nothing to do with lowering the price of gas in the near term.

The gas crisis will not be solved until we have more refining capacity and can stabilize the price of oil on the open market via a concerted effort by America to use less petroleum products (do you honestly think that will ever happen) in order to drive down demand and the creation of stability in the major oil producing regions (greatly influenced by radical Islam) in order to beat back the futures traders who use that as a reason to drive up the price of commodities.

Gas prices will stay high until America realizes its addiction to oil and every one of us takes active measures to use less of it.

  16. Obamageneralities

As an ordinary voter who has 4 kids and both I and my wife work. And in between soccer practice, ballet, tumbling and our errands, gas prices keep rising. Sometimes even rising from the time we leave for work and the time we come home.

It's plain to see that Hillary has a plan in place, has ideas and has serious concerns that she is speaking to. Obama on the other hand only offers generalities and wishful thinking. No plans, no specifics just hyperbole and words, that upon close inspection only matter when they are coming out of his mouth. Obama's ambition and political posturing are legendary in his South side political circles, and has been on full display here in the primaries, with his say what he needs to say in order to get the votes and then move on, like a locust during harvest.

Hillary will continue to offer plans and concrete solutions to help America return to it's position in the world stature and among it's own citizenship. Regardless of the rightwing talking points and attacks that Obama is throwing and libeling Senator Clinton with, and his campaigns continuing venom filled and ad hominem attacks through the MSM and the internet.

Obama will lose because he can not get out of his own way. Just like the 'bitter' comments, the Wright comments and controversy, the Rezko-gate fiasco and all of the ducking and weaving he has done on his record. Obama's ego will not allow him to not manipulate or attempt to cojole the electorate to allow him to play the victim card at will. His GOP talking points have only taken him so far, and you have come back strong each and every time, just like you will in the General, and Obama will fade...just like he has done in the Primaries.

Keep up the work Hillary, YOU ARE WINNING and WE will go all the way!

AAaahhhh....Isn't that thoughful...Now only if she could suppress the DARK SIDE of her personality that makes her do pretty DUMB and obviously DESPERATE things. (I won't list them now..MOST of you know what I am talking about.) THAT is the reason she is not going to win. it has nothing to do with her ability..IT has everything to do with her PERSONALITY...VERY..VERY..FLAWED..

Hillary obviously ticked off Obama enough where people are scratching their heads and thinking twice about him (bitter-gate). I think Hillary should keep chipping away and eroding at the surface of Obama so that we may all see what's really inside......GO HILLARY!

I think there are already enough important unanswered questions she needs to answer before 'answering' a bunch of meaningless, self-authored 'questions' about fluff subjects.

Why did you lie about supporting NAFTA?

How much REAL experience do you really have?

Why won't you answer questions about taking $800,000 from Columbia?

Start with those – plenty more where those came from.

PENNSYLVANIANS, you have the power to STOP this break up of the Democratic party. Please don't allow this race to go any further.
The longer that we wait to choose. The more we hand victory over to the Republicans. REAL DAMAGE IS BEING DONE!!!!!!!

Obama's mother was on food stamps. His father left him when he was young and they were flat broke all his youth. He went to good schools on hard-earned scholarships. He and his wife were poor until recently. How is he elitist? I was an Hillary supporter, but I no longer support her due to her going negative (dirty politics / just out to get a vote).

Yes, this is a good idea and another way to connect to the people and for them to have access to her.

Obama will try to copy that too, like everfything else he's copied so far.
This man has no humility or sense of shame in doing this.
