Clinton answers voter questions in new ad

Hillary Clinton aims to answer voter concerns in North Carolina through a series of ads.

Hillary Clinton aims to answer voter concerns in North Carolina through a series of ads.

(CNN)— Senator Hillary Clinton’s campaign released the second of a series of “NC Ask me” ads aimed at answering North Carolinian voter concerns.

The ad called “Tammie” comes one week after Clinton invited North Carolian’s to ask her “anything and everything.”

Tammie Bright, a working mother of three from Cherryville asks Clinton: “What are your plans on reducing the rising cost of gas?”

Clinton responds that she would “invest $150 billion in research and development of new kinds of energy.”

“Let’s put more hybrid vehicles on the fast track. And when we create new clean energies and technologies, we’ll be creating new jobs right here in North Carolina.”

According to Clinton’s campaign, they have received nearly 10,000 responses to their request for voters to submit their questions online. The campaign says that staff and volunteers will reply to each submission regardless of whether the query is chosen for an ad.

Why does she have a 20 pt lead if she's "falling"??

My question to Hillary Clinton is this:

    1. How do you sleep at night knowing full well you lie to the American's and will cheat to win at anything?
    2. How do we trust a woman who cannot manage her own marriage OR her own campaign well?
    3. Why will you not let Chelsea talk to the Media?
    4. Who donated millions of dollars to the Clinton Library?
    5. Why would we want a divisive and very villainous President?
    6. Do you remember Vince Foster?

I await your cleverly spun answers, but shall not hold my breath.

Anne- can't equate obama to "snobbery" when you take a look at what the Clinton's made last year. it's easy to see who the true elitists are.

    I've seen that commercial.
She starts off by saying "If you were expecting a typical political ad, then you can change the channel now..."

I don't know what she said after that because I changed the channel. I felt it was the right thing to do.

I don't know about the rest of the U.S., but folks in the hills of N.C. don't take too kindly to "Carpet Baggers". Clinton couldn't carry this state with a team of mules and 2 ex president husbands. Better luck to you west of the Mississippi. I hope you had a hunting license and duck stamp when you shot that duck. Did you remember to report it on your HIP? If not, you better be working out a deal with the US Attorney for poaching.

    Hey, NC residents!!

Make sure you post all questions and answers on line so the world can hold her accountable. After her Bosnia lies, some fact check is most surely in order.

Don't be dooped like some of the people of Ohio were with Nafta!!

Is this "Tammie" real or just another made up person like the mother and child who "died" because they had no insurance or the bullets overhead in Bosnia? I just do not trust her

The question about this answer the voter bit that Clinton is doing is can these "chats" calm people? Can they make people disregard all the problems and questionable tatics that have come up in the past? I don't think all of them. Will it help fight off the right wing attack dogs should there be the odd chance that she wins the nomination? I think the answer to that last one is the question is yes if she wins it.

Too bad we can't use Hillary's hot air to power our vehicles. The only thing that will help in the near future is East GOM and ANWAR drilling.

A candidate willing to listen to the voters question. Conservation of both Energy and soil erosion of farm land are the topics along with economics, i.e. building a stronger Dollar should be addressed now so when Hillary wins the Presidency, she will hit the halls of the White House running. Our currency has to be made stronger in order to compete with other world currencies. This will stimulate investing bankers across the globe to once again invest in Dollar based securities and bonds. When the Clinton's left office, they left America fiscally sound. We were in black ink for the first time in many years. We were out of debt. Look what a few months of republican leadership did, not only to Bill's presidency, but our economy once the republicans took over the power. To get out of this mess, we will have to pull together, Democrats and Republicans alike. Hillary Clinton can do this. Patriots of Pennsylvania, gather your hard working miners of the now dormant coal mines which our country cannot do without...gather your men of steel who could make the best quality steel in the world and rally behind Hillary Clinton. Consider voting for a candidate who is willing to listen to your needs and take action, instead of a candidate who can care less about you and yours only to spew meaningless words in my opinion. I have a Question Hillary. After you destroyed the Democratic Party and Lost the Nomination kicking and screaming and pretty much ruined any chance of being successful in government again, how do you think we can pull together and beat Mccain?

150 billion dollars in energy research IS NOT GOING TO REDUCE GAS PRICES! That's not going to do anything for gasoline. The ethanol initiative caused food prices to rise. People are already researching alternative sources of energy. What you're proposing is attempting to get rid of American dependence for oil (which needs to begin with our own drilling efforts), but that's not going to change the price of gasoline 1 cent.

Hillary promises big things just like all it takes is for her to ask for them. Does she not realize these things require acts of Congress? I agree with Jim in Burlington, she will never carry North Carolina. She is already in Washington. What is she doing about all the big things she promises?
