Hillary Clinton aims to answer voter concerns in North Carolina through a series of ads.

Hillary Clinton aims to answer voter concerns in North Carolina through a series of ads.

(CNN)— Senator Hillary Clinton’s campaign released the second of a series of “NC Ask me” ads aimed at answering North Carolinian voter concerns.

The ad called “Tammie” comes one week after Clinton invited North Carolian’s to ask her “anything and everything.”

Tammie Bright, a working mother of three from Cherryville asks Clinton: “What are your plans on reducing the rising cost of gas?”

Clinton responds that she would “invest $150 billion in research and development of new kinds of energy.”

“Let’s put more hybrid vehicles on the fast track. And when we create new clean energies and technologies, we’ll be creating new jobs right here in North Carolina.”

According to Clinton’s campaign, they have received nearly 10,000 responses to their request for voters to submit their questions online. The campaign says that staff and volunteers will reply to each submission regardless of whether the query is chosen for an ad.

My 9 year old grandson could give better answers. Oh yeah...and he doesn't lie to get get his way! He doesn't make up things or tell people what he thinks they want to hear. People, haven't we been down this road with Bush. The warning signs were there and ignored. Same for Hilliary..she's a disaster waiting to happen.

This lady has become an amorphous blob of human flesh incapable of doing or saying anything authentic or honest. She has pandered to so many and lied so often that she has lost her core being. It feels like she doesn't know who or what she believes any more....how sad, how very sad.

Repealing the federal tax on gas for roads will not solve the problem of high gas prices but it will make the roads worse. What a dumb solution.

The best solution to high gas prices is to park the pick-up and the SUV and drive a more energy efficient car or small truck. The key to lower prices is lower demand. Then demand from your congressmen and women that they raise the subsidies for railroad tracks and building high-speed rail. This is the only energy efficient way to move food and goods across the country. People too.

Her answer to everything is SPEND MORE MONEY! I pay way too many taxes now. I will pay to work if she gets in office!

It's too bad there is such vast economic ignorance in this country.

It's supply and demand, people. Over the long term, there is absolutely nothing that the government can do to change the price of gasoline (or any other commodity or product). They can subsidize it, but that merely means that you pay part of the price to the IRS in the form of higher taxes instead of all of it at the time you buy the product.

In this case, she actually is on-target in that about the only shot that government has is to encourage the research that will produce alternatives or replacements for the gasoline consumption. Such alternatives will reduce the demand for gasoline, which means the price will be lower than otherwise.

But it's not going to happen tomorrow, nor next week, nor next month, nor probably even next year. Looking for short-term fixes is a wild goose chase.

Obama spouts off solutions without regard to it's actual possibilities.
At least Hillary comes up with workable solutions..... and she will.

She'll have an "NC asks me" ad with questions she picks out but this psychopath can't even answer a question as simple as when is the last time you went to church or fired a gun? She really disgusts me...

$150 billion? Where is that money going to come from?

Getting more hybrids on a fast track? And how are people supposed to buy a vehicle that how much more of a percentage more expensive than a regular car if their jobs have gone to Columbia?

Maybe she should have really answered the question like I would have. I would take control of the oil companies profits, roll back the prices and keep them there until the crisis is over, then as the economy got back in line the price could creep back up but not exceed a level where it hurts the everyday consumer.

That's answering the question, not evading a question that's likely to offend the oil rich companies.

Hillary will say and do anything to win. It is not about us or the party or anything else. It is about the Clinton's first and foremost.

I am amazed and appalled by the hatred the Obama supporters spew forth towards Senator Clinton. They call her a liar, but he has lied about taking money from oil company CEO's, he does not speak the truth as to his relationship with Washington movers and shakers (such as the man who helped him buy a house way out of his price range) - you Obama supporters are all of the computer age. Do a little research and see what your hero has been up to. Maybe you don't care about anti-semitism - but do a little research and see what Farrakhan stands for. Get a little focus and some empathy and see the smugness that exudes from Obama. You're all so hip and with it, but you can;t forgive a man for cheating on his wife, but you will forgive Obama anything. Grow up! We need an adult for president!

I was wondering if we could add up all of HRC's solutions for america. 150 billion here, another 100 billion there, yet nothing is created out of it other than pork barrell spending.

Where is all of this money coming from? Higher taxes for the people who are already shuttered with too high taxes.

If we cut all of the pork out of her previous legistlation we might be able to come up with this money, but 150 billion invested in oil compnaies to find alternative fuels does not help the situation that americans face right now.

Hillary may have "solutions" but they are not realities, and her solutions cost americans more money than they save.

Obama answered a question about how he, if elected, does to reduce the poverty rate during the Faith and Politics Forum. There were two main points he mentioned: (1) invest in infrastructures and (2) invest in alternative energies. And he got a big applause.

It is ironic. The ideas were originally said by Hillary. I'm so worried because Obama has talked a lot about changes and hope. But he does not have any plans and solutions. He just repeats or copies ideas and solutions from other people.

Please think twice before voting for Obama.

$150 billion in new taxes for research......great "solution". We get to pay higher gas prices AND higher taxes, while Clinton cronies get awarded some multi-billion dollar "research" grants. Great. Any more "solutions" like that and we'll all be broke. Gimme a break!!

    Hello Hillary,

During Clinton’s retirement there have been other ladies, though most, according to my sources, have been one-night stands with hostesses on Clinton’s speaking tours,” Tyrrell writes. “Some of these girl-hops, sources report, took place in Ireland, France, Australia, Taiwan, Rio, and London.” Tyrrell also claims Bill took to jet-setting in order to offset depression and a difficult domestic living situation with Hillary. (“The tirades and flying objects directed by her at Bill’s defenseless skull are not fictions invented by Clinton-haters. ... There would be more spousal abuse during Clinton’s retirement when his amours threatened Hillary’s political longevity.”)

it's amazing how Hillary clinton treats us Americans like fools in order to get her way to the oval office this time as the boss. she asking the NC people to ask her anything, why not answer the simple questions she ignores like when was the last time she held a gun or went to church. why did you lie to American people about Bosnia. why are your people getting involved with deals you oppose (colombia), and last why stain Obama's image inorder to get my vote what could you have capitalised on if this didnt happen. it shows a leaders who has nothing to offer Americans. we are not happy because your man and uncle bush caused as all this suffering. yes its true we are bitter like obama said. you made millions when i lost my house yet you claim i am happy i also do not think people at Penn are happy you missed the point mama like always ( AMERICA+OBAMA)- (BUSH+MCCAIN+ THE CLINTONS)= jobs healthcare and the true spirit of America...................................................... go on president Obama

Ross Perot told the Clintons and Bushes, that if you signed that NAFTA you would hear one giant sucking sounds of jobs leaving the USA, and they thought he was crazy, what happened to made in the USA. Now Hillary is acting like she is against NAFTA, it did not work, so get rid of the whole thing.....

GO OBAMA we need a politician with some sense.
