New Clinton ad: Obama is 'out of touch'

CNN

Watch Sen. Clinton's new ad, "Pennsylvania."

(CNN) - Hillary Clinton’s campaign released a tough new ad Monday that features the reactions of some of her Pennsylvania supporters who say they were “insulted” by Barack Obama’s controversial recent comments about some small-town Americans.

The 30-second spot – which echoes several days of similar criticism from Clinton and her campaign - features a diverse group of voters reacting to Obama’s comments a week ago that some of the state’s residents were “bitter” and turning to guns and religion because of economic pressures.

Full script follows:

Woman 1: I was very insulted by Barack Obama.

Man 1: It just shows how out of touch Barack Obama is.

Woman 2: I'm not clinging to my faith out of frustration and bitterness. I find that my faith is very uplifting.

Man 2: The good people of Pennsylvania deserve a lot better than what Barack Obama said.

Woman 1: Hillary does understand the citizens of Pennsylvania better.

Woman 3: Hillary Clinton has been fighting for people like us her whole life.

At this rate the Democrats will lose in November. My only question is how does Old Man McCain hold back the laughter and glee?

Hillary and Bill Clinton worked for every dime they have made - good for them. They gave ten million to charity - the tax return proved it. How much did Obama give?

Hillary just speaks the truth - and ignorant people attempt to distort what she says and does. Just like Obama does! He called Hillary Annie Oakley because of a discussion she had with voters in Feburary about gun control. She made her comments in Feburary - He jumped her and lied in April. April! Now he wants to make fun of her for drinking a shot in a bar. He does everthing he can to take attention away from himself when he messes up and shows his true colors.

Hillary did not lie about the danger in Boania - the airplane pilot defended her statment. She was slammed by a journalist - nuff said! She did not support NAFTA, and she should not be held accountable for it. She was not president at the time. Anyway, it takes more that a president to make policy. Blame Kennedy, Kerry, and Gore too!

Obama is trying to steal Hillary's votes in Michigan and Florida. If she was given the delegates she won there, he would be trailing in her dust. Clinton 2008 because Obama is a snake!

I have Lou Dobbs on my TV at this moment and am discusded with his comments about Obama. Also no where has HRC have a20% lead in PA. Do your home work before you open your mouth as I saw you got in hot water on another issue of which I will not comment.

Clinton is a liar and fraud, or just delusional. I never saw one ad from Obama about her sniper statement. This women has no honor and no morals and you people support this. You don't deserve Obama he is too good for you and thats your loss. Have your Hillary Clinton, have your John McSame and feel content in ruining the posibility for greatness to return to the Whitehouse. Eight years and you should have learned but you didn't.

I would like to know when Hilary Clinton had all these life experiences in Pennsylvania, when her biography says she was born and raised in Illinois (who by the way, Obama won) and never mentions that she ever lived in Pennsylvania? What? did she visit her grandparents once a year? She probably has as much "life experience" in PA as she has "experience" in politics! Probably another one of her exaggerations (putting it nicely) or maybe she "misspoke" again because she was suffering from "sleep deprivation" again!

I think Hillary is overplaying this "bitter" comment thing. She earned her points over the weekend, the damage is done, MOVE ON. This sad. Americca deserves better.

Why do you Obamabots keep bringing up the $$'s the Clintons have made since Bill left the White House. Do you really think that Obama's income would not increase if he spent 8 years as President? Why not ask him if he'll agree not to do speeches or write books for profit if he's elected. See if he'd go along with that?

Besides, Obama's snobbish, uppity, pompous, elitism has more to do with his superiority complex than with money. He just plain thinks he's better than us, and by us I mean everyone including you deluded fools that support the dude!

This add will do her in and the demorcratic party. What, she did not hear the reaction she received at her earlier speech? To run this type of campaign is low and she has no where go but down after this. I am really surprised at other demorcratic heads have not come up and told her she is hurting the party.

Hilary attacks Obama and talks about McCaine's great experience–we can't afford a woman who thinks she can win the nomination in this manner and get us to vote for her in the general after she has shown she is incapable of the integrity and honor required this time around in the office of the president.

Clearly it's Hillary's campaign that is out of touch...hello Obama has change the face of campaigning in America...she needs to take notes. It’s time for the next Generation to lead this country into a new era. Old Politics has failed us...McCain is Bush II (well the Third if you count the first) Move over old Republican Farts and Clinton Family it’s time for change we could actually believe in.

I'm so glad she is running this. If anything can push Obama over the top to a win in Penn. this idiotic add will certainly do the trick.

I'm surprised she didn't have the people getting up at 3 a.m. to say he was "out of touch".

I'm glad now that she has virtually no chance I can just sit back and laugh at her. Hillary should be put "in touch" with a good psychiatrist about her inadequacy issues.

BLUE COLLAR WORKERS SHE WILL NOT CHANGE NAFTA BECAUSE BILL WILL BE VICE PRESIDENT, DON'T HURT YOUR CHILDREN FUTURE VOTING FOR HILLARY. YOU ARE FRUSTRATED BUT BECAUSE YOU DONT WANT TO SEE A BLACK MAN AS PRESIDENT YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES TO THE FACT THAT HILLARY IS DECEITFUL AND A LIAR.

CATHOLIC VOTERS PRAY DONT BE USED BY THE DEVIL. OBAMA IS LESSER OF EVIL, HILLARY GETS PAID BY THE DEVIL FOR SETTING UP EVIL SCHEMES.

Has Hillary completely forgotten that she's supposed to be in the "Solutions Business?"

What problem does this ad provide any solution to – other than the problem (for Hillary) that most of us prefer Obama?

PULEEZE. . Why can't Obama supporters show some spine. He's recently said and done some DUMB things lately that show he's just not ready to be commander in chief. You were kicking Hillary under the bus for weeks. Now, those of us who've held our noses because we just didn't buy this very junior senator from IL are happy to see that others are also paying attention.

    Hillary's ready from Day One.

Hillary is going to ride this "Bitter" comment as far as she can, and I think it's going to backfire. It seems to me that many of the people from PA agree with Obama and are not insulted by what he said, and appreciate a candidate for once stating the frustration from this very region. Obama is definitely in touch with Hillary.

Also I think Hillary is starting to piss off Obama and the rest of the undecided voters with all this political crap and spin. Hillary your ship is sinking. Someone should of told her to stick to the issues instead of the pollitics.

When the Presidential campaign began, I was in Senator Clinton's corner 100%; but every since she decided to pull the race card and her continuous personal non-issue attacks on Sen. Obama, I've lost so very much resprect for her. I thought for sure that if anyone was to run a "clean" campaign, she would be the one. Apparently, she is in denial that she is the one that is out of touch. She would have made this campaign so much more close in running if she just would have simply stayed with the issues and left the fact that he is Black or left the non-issue regarding his Minister and choice of his place of worship off of her list-to-do. Seems like the longer this campaign is running, the deeper the hole she's digging for herself. She will be much better off as the senator of New York; she's definitely not worthy of representing the Americans as the President of the United Staate.

Good grief. Does no one see that it does not even matter if he does lose PA? He has pretty much no chance of losing the election overall. USE THE DELIGATE CALCULATOR!!!!!!! CLINTON IS TEARING THE PARTY APART!! SHE WOULD HAVE TO WIN EVERY STATE BY AT LEAST 20% AND THAT JUST WILL NOT HAPPEN!!!
