O.K. she may be 6 points ahead. So what ? She'll pick up 2 or 3 more delegates and we'll be back to the REAL issue. That she should step down at this point.

it won't matter. Hillary has her supporters in such a wild frenzy that they will continue to forget all about the issues in november. In their childishness, they will vote for McCain out of spite.

And the Obama supporters are aware that there simply isn't a contrast between Hillary and McCain, so they probably won't vote at all.

I just hope that whoever LOSES the nomination reminds all democrats, in no uncertian terms, that the election in november is about the contrast between a democrat and a republican - not hillary and the rival of hillary's rival.

To be quite straightforward on the matter, the goals of hillary and obama are almost the same - it's just the means of accomplishing them that differ wildly. Hillary's means are very similar to that of McCain, Bush, and every president we've every had - "leave all responsibility to the government, and just go on your merry way." Obama's is to get you informed and give you a voice.

The leadership of the Democratic Party disgusts me. In 2006, we voted in a Senate majority charged with putting a stop to the Iraq war. Instead, they immediately caved in to the Reublicans, despite the fact that Bush has the lowest approval rating of any President since Nixon, and a vast majority of Americans want us out of Iraq now.

Two years later, we have a renegade candidate who has no chance of winning, doing her best to drag down our eventual nominee. Hillary couldn't do a better job on McCain's behalf than if she were the WarMonger himself. And what do the Democratic superdelegates do? Quiver and whine and equivocate...anything but grow a spine and pull the plug on a campaign that is destroying the Party!

Hey Barney! If you think Hillary should drop out, why not say you're voting for Obama?! And PA voters...take a look at the numbers, would you? Hillary is going to lose...so why continue to support her vendetta against our nominee?!!

At least a majority of her supporters have common sense....unless they prefer four more years of Bush compared to almost the identical candidate, different personality.

I'm supposed to support Clinton, given that I am a white male without a full college education in a medium-sized city...right?

Wrong. It gets old seeing Clinton supporters credit Obama's strength in numbers to the black vote or to sexist voters. Obama promises a departure from politics as usual. He's younger and can actually motivate people to raise their voices and demand change. All Clinton has done thus far is anger people.

Let the voting play out until June...whomever is ahead should be the nominee. Michigan and Florida (that includes my vote, folks) should not count. Clinton can't catch up. As Obama said previously, Clinton has every right to stay in the race, but not a very good reason.

If Romney had stayed in the race, I beleive the republican nommine would be undecided, like our democratic candidates. I beleive Romney step down to strenghten the republican party, by getting behind one candidate as soo as possible. Hukabe and McCain weren't no where as competetive and melicious as Obama and Hillary.

After carefully viewing all the tic for tac, I think Hillary has really proved herself to be a person who would go to any length to get you to vore for her. As a youth, Obama has taken us into a new direction in which we have something to look forward to in the government system, how policies are voted and made aware to the American People. Hillary only talked about her experience and husband Bill. I think that Obama should be the President that will bring new ichanges and help the people to get this country back on track. As a Youth Please Stand with me and vote for Obama.

BHO is done, stick a fork in him.

He may win the nomination but he cannot now win the election. He is damaged goods.

If he looses any two of FL, PA, OH, WI, MI he has little hope of winning the electoral college and he's polling behind or even with JSM in all these states before the guns and bitterness comments.

22% of Dem women will not vote for him and now it appears there is a substantial amount of blue collar white Dem men who will not vote for him.

How in the world does he overcome that in the general.

Again, stick a fork in him.

Article makes a good pooint but doesn't make it.

The folly of the Democrats. With either candidate it will be the Superdelegates who decide the nomination.

Not the voting public.

And apparently certainly not the Democrat Party voters in Florida and Michigan.

And this from a bunch who wailed and moaned that voters were disenfranchised in Florida in 2000...

Go figure. Or, suspend your disbelief and go figure.

Hillary should not drop out until the Superdelegates weigh in. And if they don't weigh in until the convention. So be it.

Hopefully they will have the sense not to nominate a person who has no chance of winning in November... (that would be Obama)

Yeah, Right! Like that's gonna happen!

This nomination process is going down to the last delegate at the convention - thanks to the Clinton's donkey-like stubborn-ness - how quaint!

Lotsa Luck! :)

Lets face it people...HRC is behind in the popular vote, pledged delegates, and states won....It's almost impossible to convince the superdelegates that she more electable than Senator Obama. It would be in the best interest on the Democratic party if she gracefully bowed out instead of dragging this out further destroying the chances of Democratic success by making McCain viable in November!

Why can't people leave the lady and her money alone, she has worked hard and no one should be jealous of her.As for Obama he knows how to talk his way out of crap, can't americans see that their country needs a seasoned person to pull them out of the crap they are in.Why put someone who is green and says things taht are offensive and the talk talk his way out. I think you Americans are making another mistake like you did with george bush. so cut the crap and let the lady become the next pres. Also the media is too harsh on her ,you the media is pathetic.

I guess that everyone has realized now... that neither Obama nor Clinton can win the nomination...

It seems to me (average American voter)... that the super delegates do not want to choose a candidate or be responsible if they pick a candidate that ends up losing in November... I am not sure either one of them can deliver!!!

I guess that means Obama will be leaving the race pretty soon. Regardless of who's "trailing", the real issue is who can beat McCain in November. And it's not Obama. He has WAY

The latest round of bashings from Clinton/McCain are by misrepresenting and extrapolating upon what Obama said. This is exactly out of the Bush/Rove fearmonger playbook. If the populace cannot see through these misrepresentations; heaven help us as we have become a polarized nation that WILL not listen and communicate with each other. Some example for the world!

Why would superdelgates want Clinton or Obama to drop out? Clinton or Obama can not win the nomination without the superdelgates votes. The problem is the vote, they do not want to vote, they are acting like they do ever day running from problems, not solving problems and doing nothing to solve our countries problems.

A lot of people here seem to have very questionable math skills. Hillary is behind in popular vote by 700,000 without Florida and Michigan. Pennsylvania alone has 4 million voters. She can make up a lot of that 700000 there, then go to Indiana, and Kentucky, and West Virginia, Puerto Rico, lose some in NC and OR, and be a lot closer than you all make it seem. If Florida and Michigan went 55-45 to hillary, that closes the gap. So i fail to see how anyone thinks she has no chance to catch the popular vote. And the popular vote should matter, since the last time the US went against the popular vote, we were left with George Bush instead of Al Gore.

It is a sad day for Americans, when Democrats would rather not vote at all, if their candidate does not get nominiated. Lets get it together people. This is a Republician dream come true. Do you all hate Hillary or Barrack so much, that you are willing to give the Repubs the election on a silver platter? Stop acting like spoiled children, who can't get their own way. If you are a Democrat you should vote with who ever gets the nomination. This is not a popularity contest. This is real.

Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah the fact is Obama can not make it to 2024, no matter how you do the math he doesn't have the delegetes and he has proved to be unelectable in Nov. Why doesn't he get out of the race now, he could become a preacher like Wright and have all these discussions and debates about race, In the meantime we need a president that will stand up and fight for the people and who will govern the country and let Obama the preacher, have his open debates on why whites are racsist and let president Hillary Clinton clean up after Bush.

Hillary is trying to ensure Republican victory in November so she can run again in 2012. She's even adopting Republican talking points. I hope if McCain wins, people see through her power hungry ambition and make sure she gets nowhere near the nomination in 2012.

FYI...here in Michigan they just published poll results that say that is Hillary is the Dem against McCain...McCain will take Michigan. If it is Obama against McCain then Obama will take Michigan in November. Interesting since Hillary "won" our primary. I can't remember a time when Michigan voted Republican for President. There are to many union workers here. Wait maybe that's the issue...our "fabulous Governor" is running all the union jobs out of Michigan...maybe we are becoming a red state after all........

If you willing to vote for McCain, you don't want Hillary in the White House, period. They stand virtually identical on almost all issues, so it's nothing more then a popularity contest to most of you. And to you, Fred the idiot....you sir are a idiot. Republician in sheep's clothing.

Democrat 08'

GET OVER YOURSELVES PEOPLE, OR IT'S 4 MORE YEARS OF BUSH!!

For Jimmy and Hillary supporters, please do not use uppercase letters to write. It is talking down on the reader. This is so true for most of the "narcissistic-histronic" Hillary supporters.

My younger child won several medals in seveal hard-fought races. But my wife tells me that the older child will best respresent our family. So, my wife nags me to take the medals away from the younger child and give it to the older child because he/she is more "representative" of the family!! Wow, what a decision the superdelgates who are not narcissistic would have to make soon!

Interesting coming from a Clinton supporter since she is behind and can't conceivably catch up. I wouldn't vote for Hillary if she were running for mayor! She's a liar and cannot be trusted.
