I bought a handful of groceries today for $86. I have to spend $65 to fill up my tank because I can not afford to sell my 1999 Dodge and buy a smaller car.

We are retired and can't afford insurance (we are healthy because we have been vegetarians for 28 years) and so far have not needed medical care. If we get sick we will lose everything we have.

This once fine county of ours is a disgrace. I am not even proud to be an American any longer.

I don't like any of the candidates but Bill Clinton knows how to talk to other countries. For that reason alone Hillary may be our only hope.

I don't know who in their right minds would want to take over this mess. I pity both Obama and Clinton if they win. I pity us if McCain gets in.

I'm not rich, and I remember benefiting from those tax cuts. And I will be hurt financially (and so will you) if the tax cuts lapse and we end up with what is effectively a tax increase. Not to mention the adverse effect this would have on a struggling economy.

Stop believing all the Democratic Party propoganda you read and hear on TV. The top 1% of American taxpayers pay about two-thirds of the income taxes, so it's pretty hard to have any meaningful income tax cut and not have them get the lion's share in absolute dollar terms, which is what our Democratic Party friends always recite (and truthfully so, although very misleading.) They never bother to tell anyone how big everyone's Bush tax cut was in terms of percentage of their income. If they did they would have to tell you that middle income Americans received a larger percentage of their income back than the wealthy. The result of that tax cut was a 3% increase in the share of income taxes that the top 1% pay; from 64% to 67%. But, of course, they don't want to tell you that.

The good of the party always comes before the truth.

Ths is an Interesting attempt at stereotyping!!! Well the fact of the matter is that Obama has not addressed the question of why he continues to support a RACIST Minister and makes elitist derogatory comments on folks to whom he does not relate. This shows lack of good judgement. even when he placed this Racist Minister on his Campaign team and he knew very well Wright's position with respect to whites, Italians Jews, catholics and any other race or religion. And because of this, his support of this man, speaks to the issue of a lacking in credibility.

People who vote should not select FOR or AGAINST a candidate because of their religion, sexual preference, race, national origin, gender, economic condition, AGE or any other such differentiator. They should place their votes based on objective analysis and not because it seems to be the "in" thing (like a lot of white pseudo- educated elistist)

If McCain's worst sin is recipes, then he should have no problem in November against Obama's pastor, friend Tony Rezko, and out of touch comments about poor people "clinging to guns and religion." That's not to mention all of Clinton's craziness.

Makes you wonder, McCain and Clinton both seem to have the same theme against Obama. Word twists are their only ploy. Take a sentence out of context and make into something it was not. At least Obama did not claim to land in Bosnia under gunfire or think we need to be in Iraq for 100 years like Hilary and John said.

We are going broke and McCain and Clinton have helped send steel, auto, rubber, electronics and other good paying jobs overseas and replace them with Walmart jobs.

I do not see this ending until Washington is cleansed.
