OBAMA OVERWHELMLY REPRENSENTS AMERICA FAR MORE THAN EITHER CAANDIDATE IN THE RACE, THAT IS TODAY'S AMERICA!

HILLARY AND MCCAIN ARE BOTH OUT OF TUNE TO THE POINT THEY HAVE NO CLUE. THEY STILL THINK THAT MAJORITY OF WHITES ARE BIGOTS THAT IS WHY THEY KEEP SPINNING REV. WRIGHT SERMONS, HE COMES FROM THE SAME ERA AS BOTH OF THEM. THE SPIN THIS COMMENT OBAMA IN THE HOPE OF INCITING RACISTS INTO ACTION, BUT WHAT THEY FELL TO REALIZE IS THIS YEA! THERE ARE STILL PLENTY OF THEM, BUT THE MAJORITY OF BLACKS & WHITES ARE TIRED OF ALL OF THIS FOOLISHINESS WE WANT TO MOVE ON AND WE RESENT THEM FORCING HATE ON US.

OBAMA BEING BLACK IS A GREAT PRIDE TO MANY BLACKS AND HISPANICS AND THIS IS TO BE EXPECTED IN THIS NATION ENTIRE HISTORY NEVER BEFORE HAS THERE BEEN A BLACK MAN ACCEPTED, EVEN THOUGH THERE HAVE BEEN MANY THAT WERE ACCEPTABLE. THIS IS NOT JUST AN TESTIMENT TO BLACKS HE COULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN THIS FAR WITHOUT THE OVERWHELMING SUPPORT OF OTHER RACES AND FOR THIS AMERICA SHOULD BE PROUD! PROUD THAT WE ARE SHOWING SIGNS OF ONENESS AS NEVER BEFORE. THIS TOO FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I CAN SEE THIS AND IT NOW GIVES ME TO PRIDE TO KNOW THIS!

WHITE AMERICANS REALIZE THEY CAN NOT CONTINUE TO REJECT OTHERS SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE DIFFERENT IT IS TIME TO GROW IN HEART.

And he's right.

It seems like the country is awash with pin wearing patriots who treat their neighbors like crap these days. True patriotism is about bringing people together, and making the country a better place for everybody.

I certainly agree with Obama that he doesn't have to wear a pin on his lapel to prove he is patriotic. It does give me even more respect for him that he did wear it when it was offered to him by a Vietnam vet. I hope that the undecided voter will see that he really does care about people and vote for him. We need real change in this country and we won't get it with 4 more years of the Clinton's or McCain who will both owe big favors to the campaign supporting lobbyists.

Senator Obama is often a day late and a dollar short when it comes to things like the flag pin. His refusal to wear it at first was not that big an issue, but it represents an error in judgement nontheless. He's having to make up for mistakes too frequently. In the White House, he will often have to be right the first time. And I'm afraid he's not ready.

i have been reading alot from the good perople of north carolina and i have to say it here, because i cant say anywhere else, but the people of nc are not very bright. now i know you just want to be mad at me for this but i have to tell you that i lived in nc for two years and so i do have some experience with the people there. they do talk funny, they do chew tobacco, hunt, grow their own smoke and meet every mornig down at the diner to talk about their dogs, the farm and how they hate black people. i am not saying this to be cruel im saying it because its what i observed and heard for two years. and so it makes me wonder if the majority of whites in nc do not like black folks, then why is obama going to win that state with big numbers? i would figure, based on what i know, that the white folks would get out and vote against him. course i havent lived there in several years and it may be that they have come to realize that its not good for the soul to hate people. perhaps its okay with them to be reminded that the are bitter. oh well.

I want a commander in chief who will wear our flag pins with pride and true patriotism. One who will pay respect to our national anthem with a political explanation why it shouldn't be done.

There is nothing to explain, "America, land of the free and the home of the brave." She has given so much to the world, yet she is scorned and called evil by the very ones to whom she has given much.

She is a light of hope. Love her and she will love you. Hate her and she will still love and provide help in the time of need.

Barack Obama, wore his pin with the American Flag, and that means"What',? John McCain, did not wear his American Flag pin, today, no one said a Word. Hillary Clinton, does not always wear her Flag Pin, so what is this, really all about? The person that looks the part, and talks the part, But does not Tell the Truth, or even Keep their Word. I am sure it is difficult for America to See Intergrity in a person, and respect it, because most of the You are in a COMMA!

I personally believe it is your actions that show your patriotism not the flag pin. Although the flag pin is viewed by some as a symbol of patriotism, it is ultimately the actions of a person that determines their patriotism. Some individuals that wear flag pins religiously behave in very unpatriotic ways.

It was a beautiful gesture to give the flag pin as a gift and rightfully so, Obama immediately put it on!

Before all the negative Obama hate starts as it usually does, keep in mind it was presented to him as a gift that he glad accepted & immediately put on. This was not something he just showed up with and began wearing. This is a key difference for everyone who will say that he is doing it for show!
