(CNN) - Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid joked on Thursday said the sharp back-and-forth of late between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama is having an effect on him.
"It makes me bitter," the Nevada Democrat said, invoking Obama's controversial comments that sparked strong criticisms from Clinton and Republican John McCain.
Reid went on to call the prolonged Democratic "healthy for our party," and predicted, "This is all going to be over fairly soon."

Who again set up this primary process timeframe?....oh thats right the DNC. The 'powerplayers' who have run the DNC for EVER......and are so supportive of 'change' .......Kerry and Kennedy..... (both of whom i vigorously supported in the past.....HEy we all make mistakes)

Bitter? My "uncommitted" vote didn't count in the primary and won't count at the convention. In the highly unlikely event that the Michigan delegates are seated, my vote will count for very little, but the votes for Hellary will count for 67% of the delegates. The candidates agreed not to campaign or to have their names on the ballots. Hellary's name DID appear on the ballot; Obama's did not. Yeah, I'm bitter.
For all of those die-hards out there who say they'll vote for McCain before they'll vote for Barack Obama, remind yourselves of how many federal appointees under McCain will be conservative, right-wing Republicans setting policy regarding your finances, your rights, your life in general.
