Barack Obama's campaign released a new ad Wednesday in response to Clinton.

(CNN)— Barack Obama’s campaign launched a new ad in response to yesterday’s ad from Hillary Clinton that charged he was unduly influenced by donations from energy executives with a new spot that again accused her of accepting more special interest money than any other candidate.

Obama’s campaign also launched a mailer and a Web ad yesterday making similar charges against the New York senator.

“Obama’s the only candidate who doesn’t take a dime from oil company PACs or lobbyists,” says the narrator in the 30-second spot. “What’s Hillary Clinton’s answer? The same old politics… The truth? It’s Barack Obama who’s taken on the oil companies.”

The ad titled, "Dime" is set to air in Pennsylvania.

I hate to say it, but Hillary really left Barack with no choice. At some point, he had to fire back, lest he end up in the position Kerry found himself in during the 2004 race. I'm just finding it hard to digest that he has to do this with a fellow Democrat.

Angus McDugan   April 16th, 2008 12:48 pm ET

How sad. Hillary and Obama try to discourage voters instead of win voters. Looks like Obama has now joined Hillary in deviding the Dem party.

Read Isaiah 28:14-15, Isaiah 43:28 and Jeremiah 2:7
All real preachers are provocative to get their Nations to change.

They are not anti-country they are for the long term survival of the Country. They want to change the policies of the leaders so the Country can prosper and all citizens treated fairly. White, Black, Yellow or Red.

Justice for all!!

Hillary is losing superdelegates even faster.

Hillary is not ready to be president and never will.

Hillary will not fool the people of this great nation.

Hillary needs to walk away from this race now.

So, where DOES his money come from? I seem to remember he was in San Francisco bashing small town America for cash.

It's already been proven he has taken bundled contributions from owners, large shareholders, and executives (and their wives) from all of the large oil companies.

Who does he think he's fooling?

Wonder how he felt having to spend all that California cash on ads to cover up his silly "bitter" remarks?

Hillary Clinton is the candidate for real honest working people.

Sen. Obama. Dont worry… the smart ones get it we know you did not take money from Oil Companies its shows on your tax returns only $1.2 million mostly from book sale royalties!
Hillary's $109.1 million of which $800,000 was from Columbia on a trade deal is pretty obvious! But im glad he put this ad out there cuz SOME folks just still dont get it!!!
Sen. Obama you got my vote!
You stand for truth and integrity!

CHICANO ART, ARIZONA   April 16th, 2008 12:57 pm ET

When they asked Hillary when was the last time you went to church is answered Easter. People thought she was just trying to brush the question off. However, most people in the media did not make the connection that Obama was missing from church on Easter, probably because of the Wright issue. Obama supposedly found God and Jesus because of Wright. What does that say about his spirtituality?

Dal   April 16th, 2008 12:58 pm ET

I would ask Hillary to back down and offer an Olive branch and exit the race. Exiting the race will help her a lot rather than the "BITTER" contest she has created.
Does she need any more money from new contacts. All the money that they have gathered is not going to be taken with them they are going to leave everything behind when they die. The only thing people of the world will remember is the good things they did.
Hillary for your and your Bill's sake start to do something good for the people of the country you belong to. Money is not everything, yes you need it but you are wealthy enough to manage your affairs better that the rest of the country.
You already have a foundation that will take care of your daughters needs in future. She needs to make her own mark if she needs to be recognized as an individual. Let her grow and don't give her the typical Clinton mentality.

James, SC   April 16th, 2008 12:59 pm ET

I wander if we will learn that Hillary Clinton has been a secret Catholic all her life; and is ready to support the Pope from day one ?

or

When I was a little girl my dad used to sneak us in the Catholic church so that we can conduct the sacraments after going duck hunting.

or

Maybe she will go to confession and get forgiven for her sins of lying all the time.
Nope! She will say, " I just came from the hospital where I tried to the save the woman without insurance, but then learned that the Pope had left his hunting pistol behind and I took a trip to Bosnia where I had to dodge bullets to give him his shotgun." I misspoke. I meant Columbia where he was in a meeting with Mark Penn to discuss a deal with Canada about, Wink Wink, how we are going to renegotiate NAFTA. Now crying, "Why do these elitists, lucky to be black, and just words people always pick on me because I'm a girl?"

I was just kidding. You know I was just joking about all that stuff hahaha. How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?

Mr. Math   April 16th, 2008 1:04 pm ET

Can anyone please explain to me why Mrs. Clinton is still in this race? Mathmatically speaking, she cannot overtake Senator Obama's lead in delegates. A narrow win in Ohio but losses in Indiana and NC (polls there and nationally show her trailing by a wide margin) mean that she falls even further behind.

This is a losing campaign and the biggest loser right now is the Democratic Party. Each day she's in the race, more votes slip away to John McCain.

Think about it PA. Think hard.

Amy, SC   April 16th, 2008 1:04 pm ET

I'm not angry as much with Hillary as I am with George Bush. Americans wouldn't be fighting each other so badly if we weren't in this state of affairs. I noticed GW is still trying to change his legacy, but it won't work. Too little, and much too late.

OK. everyone, now it's time to use your heads. Political ads are just fluff. No matter who they are from, they are 30-seconds of language and images carefully crafted to sway people to do something they wouldn't do otherwise. PLEASE don't base your vote on a 30-second ad or two. Do some research. Find out what the candidates are REALLY about. Base your vote on what the candidates do, NOT what they say the other person does. Hillary has distorted Obama's words, and people believed her, in spite of the Bosnia problem, the Penn problem, the hunting problem, and all the problems from her husband's legacy. Obama is no angel. He's had problems of his own. But at the end of the day, choose your candidate based on FACTS not political ads! if you do, you will be sorry.

It is sad how people have been brainwashed by speeches. Obama is not God, did you notice that he was at Rezco's party, then he lied about the ammount he received from him.
Later on, his pastor accussed America of Terrorism and the worst part is that he inspired the tittle of Obama's book… he gave a speech, yet, he never apologized.
Obama and his lawyers disenfranchised FLA and Michigan with the DNC witnessing everything.
Now he has attacked Core American Values.. gun ownership and faith.. If some of you do not believe in God, millions of Americans do out of conviction and not out of frustration like Obama stated.
God will bless America by delivering us from an extremist-snob who plays to be the savior. He is just words.

Of course people are bitter, but Obama and those like him have caused it

By allowing Illegals to take american jobs, and this kook wants to take down the fence and open the gates to More and More to take more and more jobs and take down American Wages. " he hasn't got that yet"

By allowing companies to move to Mexico etc. Like Levi Jeans & Hershey. Then sell them back to Americans at Huge Profits.

By allowing China to sell products to Americans at Huge Profits while Our products are sold to them Cheap.

And making Americans bend over for all Immigrants for them. spending our tax dollars for everything in Spanish, Schools providing extras for Muslims

AMERICAN TAX PAYERS FIT THESE BILLS , AND I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANY LONGER

And this is just a few things the Dope hasn't figured out yet.

You bet I have an Anti-Immigrant Sediment

Oh yea…. And another thing

People need to hear the truth and what Barack has said is truth people are angry and disappointed, therefore they cling to what they believes grounds them.

John F. Kennedy said…

"A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people."

the real fear of Hillary and McCain is that if Barack gets the people mobilized on the truth of their situation they will kick alot of these do nothing politicians out of office. to not tell people the truth is Elitist

- McCain, we are not in a recession and the War is good
- Hillary, we were under Sniper fire and I brokered a peace agreement in Bosnia.

Note: When England did not want the Colonies to have representation, they were afraid. And when the Revolutionaries mobiles the people around the importance of representation… the People formed a More perfect Union by breaking away from 'THE OLD WAYS" and McCain and Billary represent "THE OLD

I'd like to see him explain why when he "took on the oil companies" that he DID take money from them, which is a conflict of interest. Anyone who isn't a lawyer knows that. And what about the time he touted he "took on" the nuclear plants, but he in fact allowed them to continue to dump toxic waste into the water of the city.

Obama has taken hundreds of thousands of dollars from people who are employed by the very same oil companies he says he"s never taken money from. More subterfuge. Subterfuge and ridicule are the Obama themes for the week.

Now Obama is calling the voters of Pennsylvania “silly” because he made comments that got him in hot water. That’s how he’s handling the accusations that he is elitist: more ridicule. It’s always someone else’s fault with him. He is so arrogant and condescending that it’s amazing to me that he has anyone voting for him at all. I can guarantee that in tonight’s debate, he will preface an answer with, “Well, look…. ”. Like we need his instruction in order to understand the issues. After all, there is no way we “silly” people are capable of making informed decisions on our own. Gag me with a spoon!!!

Another thing to look for tonight: He continually refers to "the notion" when anyone disagrees with or criticizes him. The thoughts and opinions of others are belittled as "notions", so he deems it only fitting that he enlighten us with the "correct" views, i.e. The Word of Obama. Again, gag me with a spoon!!!

The democratic party has been experiencing a slow split for the last 10 years.

Obama has accentuated and capitalized on that schism for personal political gain.

On one side you have the left wing elitists who intellectually embrace the idea of equality- but can not and do not put it into practice.

They continue to look down their noses at the less fortunate, who they label uneducated, and then profess to want to "save them".

They support Obama. Because of his skin color, African Americans also overwhelmingly support him, irregardless of political, educational or economic position

On the other side you have the lifelong democrats who are more centrist and populist. They believe in democracy and have protested marched and worked for equality. They see all Americans as one people with a shared future. They support Clinton.

We WILL NOT come together just for party loyalty and unity in Nov. We have a right and an obligation to support the BEST Candidate

"In fact, Clinton's total from oil and gas company PACs and employees ranks fourth among the candidates (behind Republicans Rudy Giuliani, Mitt Romney and McCain), and Obama's ranks fifth, according to CRP. "

Something interesting that I see about this though is how ONCE AGAIN, Obama is simply following Clinton's lead. His plan to deal with oil companies is the same as Hillary's, but came out AFTER hers. What is he going to do when she is not there to tell him what his policies are?

paulie_nj   April 16th, 2008 1:21 pm ET

Listen to Skipper! Don't let Obama fool you. Obama takes and has taken money from oil company PACs and lobbyists in an indirect and round about sort of way. What he says about Hillary may be true but it's also true about himself as well so don't let him pull the wool over your eyes by trying to mislead you. He is a true hypocrite and a typical politician. His true colors are showing more and more each day and he's beginning to sound more and more like the black man that he is. Read his books and discover his racism and his Muslim ways. Please don't vote him into the "White House".

Michael Templer   April 16th, 2008 1:21 pm ET

He wanted to run a solely positive campaign and for the most part he has

but he learned from the Clinton's

the Clinton's are all about '72 and '88

they saw what happened to the democratic candidate and have been determined to let that happened to them

but the unfortunate by product is the Clinton Exageration or the Clinton backhanded attach when getting out their message demeaning the opponent.

let's remember they have never had a tough primary opponent either

once he saw negative campaigning working he counter punched

and he is very comfortable counter punching

the people have to see you will respond and fight back but do it in a measured way and not the belligerent self destructive style

Redistered Voter - Pa   April 16th, 2008 1:22 pm ET

Sen. Obama come back is tasteful and MOST IMPORTANT - TRUTHFUL!!!!!
He focuses on the Truth and the Issues affecting this country and why things are the way it is!
If you haven't realized Bill Clinton is already in pocket for $800,000 from Columbia (if you make $50,000/yr it will take you 16 Years to make that much) Now do you get it???
At first I thought cool Hillary is a good Candidate after learning about all those shady deals and hearing her lies from her OWN MOUTH I made up my mind this is NOT presidential material!
All this talk about experience - where did the experience get us? $3.57 a gallon for gas and $4.05 for a gallon of milk!
We the people elect who is MOST fitting for the Presidency!
I see the Truth in Obama's speeches and ad's - he got my vote!
BTW - I never got any of those polls? If these polls were correct he would be leading by at least 5 percentage points!

Senator Obama tried to run a clean campaign, but it can't work with Sen. Clinton as the opponent.

She has attacked him from the start. Many of you might not have realized it, but she started here in South Carolina because he was on track to do well. After he didn't fire back at her as strongly as he should have, the media reported people wondering if he could defend himself strong enough. Well—– he is strong.

Obama's ad about Hillary being booed when she spoke to the AAM made me angry. He spoke to the same audience first, and I knew then that he was setting her up for just such a thing by the way he talked about her. He ridiculed, misrepresented facts, restated his elitist words to make it sound different….that kind of thing. The crowd was totally taken in and I saw a viciousness in this man I hadn't seen before. Hillary was set up big time. To see the new ad you would think he had nothing to do with it. Truth is he had everything to do with it.

Jerry in Boston   April 16th, 2008 1:24 pm ET

There is so little to choose between these two candidates in terms of policy, that the only reason I'm supporting Hillary is that she doesn't pretend to be running an honest, positive campaign, while doing the complete opposite.

You may not like her or her campaign, but at least you aren't getting the Orwellian double-speak that you get from Obama.

It would be wonderful if everyone could behave the way Obama says we should, but what makes me sick is that he produces just as much negativity as Hillary, while maintaining that he's above the gutter.

Worse, his appologist drones on forums like this one display the most ridiculous double standards. Berating Hillary for her attack ads, but mitigating Obama's because he's just "responding".

Why Hillary can't win.

It's not just Barack, its America. When she looks up she sees one man standing alone. She doesn't realize that he has a whole army of people, behind him. She can't win because we are determined to change Washington, D.C. Her actions in this election are one of the reasons why we want change. So thanks Hillary for showing, by your negativity, why we will elect Barack as our next president.

Go home Hillary, you did a good job, but it is so over.

Montreal   April 16th, 2008 1:26 pm ET

Two issues perplex me.
1) WHy do Clinton supporters say the DNC "rigged" the convntion, and also that Obama doesn't allow Mi/Fl their opinion, when Clinton SIGNED a document agreeing not to count Mi/Fl, and SHE is the one being dishonest and not keeping her word. (Would you take a dishonest partner?)
2) What experience does Clinton have over Obama other than being a wife? A failed health bill perhaps?

Change 2008   April 16th, 2008 1:26 pm ET

Can we all Dems agree that Obama's initial message was about hope and unity? Once Billary went negative his camp was forced to respond.

Once again Obama tries to spin his way out of trouble. He keeps trying to focus only on the fact that he said people are bitter. The word "bitter" is not the problem. It is what followed that is the problem. He said people cling to their guns and religion and antipathy to people who are different or trade or immigration laws. This is a true sign of a sleazy politician. He is not qualified to be president. He is a liar and a hypocrite and has NO chance of winning in the general election. It is time to vote smart and vote for Clinton.

Susan in MO, are you kidding me. Did you just bring in Scripture to back Obama? Or to defend Wright? Show me the scriptures that would back limitless abortion, let alone abortion period. Mr. Hypocrite Human Rights Obama didn't provide those verses. He wants to expand "rights to marry for homosexuals and rights to abortion," but he can't even get the right to life correct. Mr. Racial Unity Hypocrite Obama wants to talk about the Bible and uniting the races and community, but chose to listen to unBiblical racial and hateful rhetoric for the 20 years of his devout Christian faith. There are much more loving and Biblically sound African American Christian leaders he could have chosen to marry him, baptize his family, and influence his understanding of the Christian faith. Mr. Anti-War all-honesty Obama wants to claim superiority for opposing the war on Iraq, when his Christian brother Pres. Bush (who we independents don't necessarily care for) was faced with a tough decision to either hope Hussein did not have WMDs or wouldn't use them, or ensure he wouldn't use them. Meanwhile Obama describes his lack of support as if he had some kind of military or political insight, when most likely he was just espousing his "pastor's" anti-American, anti-White views. Mr. Christian leader Hypocrite Obama conveniently ignores the fact that he repeatedly insinuates Bush lied to get us in to the war (with no hard evidence to date) and thus lies and bears false witness against his neighbor. Mr. Hypocrite Obama want to unite the country, but behind closed doors writes off those who don't agree with his religious views and political values as "bitter," then pretends afterwards that he wasn't trying to gain points with the egotistical San Franciscan lefties at the small-twon republican's expense. Obama is a "leader" that a large # of Christians and the nation won't be following, even if he is elected.

I applaud Obama for not making hay over Bosniagate, the Hospital Lie, Tears in New Hampshire, 12 losses in a row, Monica Lowinsky, Bill Clintons scandals, Penn talking to Columbia, the tricks she has used on Florida and Michigan, ect. Instead he has concentrated on issues like, Healthcare, the war, and the economic. The reason nothing sticks to him is because he sticks to the topics. It is only when he goes off topic, like the shot she took, and the Annie Oakley statement that he falters. Likewise, Hillary needs to stick to her plan. She had just talked about a crime plan when this bitter statement broke. Now her crime message is lost and it looks like she is hanging her hat on the fact that Obama used the word Bitter. If her platform is based on a statement he made it gives us the impression that she had no platform until he made the statement. Her camp was misguided under Penn, and now it is rudderless. Hillary I love you but what is your plan? What ever it is, get back to it and stick to it. The fact that Obama called bitter people bitter is no reason to vote for you.

Thomas   April 16th, 2008 1:29 pm ET

They're both lying. They both have received in excess of $100,000 dollars from oil companies. Wake up America, our representatives are for SALE. The republican and democratic parties are both deep in the pockets of special interest groups. It is time to depose these two parties and seek election reforms which COMPLETELY eliminate the acceptance of money from corporations or those who own them.

Sen. Obama has taken the kitchen sink being thrown at him way too long, the fact remains the longer he played "NICE" the more the Clinton campaign tried to trash him. Do you expect Sen. Obama to lay down and play dead? Come on, he is trying to run a clean campaign, and he is trying to look out for the American people. Sen. Clinton will not stop her mud slinging! She is going to continue scratching and clawing her way into the White House. He has to stand up to her!

cecil   April 16th, 2008 1:35 pm ET

Remember, why would Sen. Clinton want a VP who is a elitist, arrogant, out of touch, no exprience, high minded, a racist, unpatriotic,

This “dream ticket” idea that Hillary Clinton threw out is just another example of her cluelessness in this campaign. What was she thinking when she made that “offer”? Didn’t she realize how ridiculous it made her look, telling the frontrunner for the Democratic nomination that she might ask him to be vice-president? And did she really never consider how laughable it was for her to suggest that Barack Obama might make a good vice-president when she has been hammering on at every opportunity about his lack of experience and his unpreparedness to be president?

On Sunday’s Meet the Press, former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, who has endorsed Obama’s presidential run, called Clinton’s floating of Obama as VP a “really a rare occurrence — maybe the first time in history — that the person who is running number two would offer the person who is running number one the number two position.” "Old School Polictics" at its worse!

Sen. Clinton has overplayed another hand, the "Bitter issue"!

Response to comments by "BITTER"

I completely agree with your comments!!!!

Only, the best candidate should be picked and not the most popular, in order to address the serious problems that America is now challenged to solve!!!!

Voters should select a candidate by not choosing FOR or AGAINST a candidate because of Religion, Age, Gender, Race, National Origin, Economic Status or Sexual Preference but primarily on his or her qualifications and experience. Americans need to seriously and carefully analyze their choice because we cannot afford to make another mistake,

In the last election voters, it has been said, selected in a majority the candidate (President Bush) that they could sit down and share a beer. We all know how that selection has turned out.

Joyce in Florida   April 16th, 2008 1:49 pm ET

He is taking money from the oil companies; just indirectly; coming from the employees. I guess that's alright though. What a bunch of bs. Senator Obama is not trustworthy and still lies daily. People are finally seeing the truth about you. You will not win Pennsylvania and beyond. Hillary Clinton will be our nominee. HILLARY FOR PRESIDENT!!!

FEDUP   April 16th, 2008 1:50 pm ET

Obama is a liar in the slimest way. To bundle money to avoid or rather attempt to avoid the big oil label is a slimmy lie. I blame the media for this race, gender fiasco. Obamas reference to," people who are not like them", only added fuel to the fire. We will lose in November if Obama is the nominee, it may be close, but the electorial college will give it to McCain. The big Blue states will determine the winner, add the little red states, that usually go Republicians and bingo, we get McCain. In a year that should have been a runaway for the dems. How sad is that?

Dustin D.   April 16th, 2008 1:50 pm ET

First of all, to John B. Sheffield, I urge to actually look up what has taken place in this primary season. To correct your misstatement, the story that Hillary told about the woman who dies because of not having health insurance IS TRUE. It's just another example of the biased media attacking Hillary with no basis in fact. And to correct Sen. Obama's claim that he never takes money from oil company's PACs, that is FALSE. Sen. Obama has and does take money from PACs and lobbyists, although they are not registered as federal lobbyists. He gets around this cleverly by having the money coming from them through their spouses. It's amazing that very few in the media are willing to stand up to the Obama crazies and actually point out the facts in this race: they both take money from PACs (which are just those company's employees pooled resources). It is also astounding to me how the media is trying to turn Sen. Obama's "bitter" remarks into a good thing, saying that it is basically true. I'm from a small town in North Carolina and have family in small town Pennsylvania: We are not bitter about our economic situation and are ready for someone to stand up with us, not look down on us. Hillary is the only candidate who will do so. We do not need another Kerry/Dukakis/McGovern running for president, we need someone who can actually win in small towns and big cities.

Is he pandering to blue collar workers? I'll bet he never set foot in a factory until now. Well, maybe an abandoned one where you can buy drugs.

ART in TX   April 16th, 2008 1:53 pm ET

she should have just left him alone! Where I come from, when someone calls you out…you gotta handle up!

K   April 16th, 2008 1:53 pm ET

I cannot believe how many Americans are so fooled by this smooth talker and "same old politics as usual but i disguise it by saying it's not" propaganda. Most Americans are such fools and so gullible to believe a pretty speech. I also wish CNN would pull their head out of Obama's behind to report the news without so much bias.

AJ   April 16th, 2008 1:53 pm ET

Oh please. Tell us another fairy tale. Just some of the ties that Obama has to lobbyists and corporate interests: Obama’s co-chair in New Hampshire, Jim Demers, is a state based lobbyist for the pharmaceutical and financial services industries. In the first quarter of 2007, Obama accepted a combined $170,000 from Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, $160,000 from executives at Exelon Corp., the nation’s largest nuclear power provider, and its subsidiary, Commonwealth Edison, an Illinois utility.
I could go on and on.
Obama has taken plenty of money from lobbyists and special interests. The implication he is trying to make is that because he didn’t take money from Oil Companies PACs or lobbyists, somehow makes him superior to the other political money grubbers is absurd. Obama is no stranger to how the game is played. He has bellied up to the special interest trough and for him to implicate differently is a bald faced lie.

Get a job   April 16th, 2008 1:56 pm ET

Obama supporters please…GET A JOB…these posts are always from the same group of people…Do you all sit together at Starbucks and toast each others intellectual superiority while sipping "Fat Free" Latte's?

Zeppo!!   April 16th, 2008 1:56 pm ET

A tiny bit of research reveals that Obama took at least 200,000 dollars from executives at Exelon (Nuclear Industry) and in return butchered his own legislation to meet their low standards. The changes he made would have made the reporting of low level radiation leaks to public VOLUNTARY.

The recent ad by Obama showing some of HIS supporters booing Clinton sealed it for me as though it was an innocent spontaneous behavior. Yes I am a democrat. Yes I prefer Clinton. BUT I have always been a partisan democrat until now. At a luncheon yesterday all Clinton supporters were in agreement that we trusted McCain more than Obama. Most of us are turned off by the intransigence of Obama supporters. Today I am very very sad. Obama had such promise and ALL of us would have voted for him. In LOSING the nomination, I honestly think Hillary will be another GORE so fondly remembered as the BEST choice. But Americans are not known for supporting those who have served the country be it Viet Nam, NGO workers, veterans, philanthropists. A fresh face Obama is but he alone cannot change Washington. And I have to admit to a feeling of joy when I think of the Democratic National Party, the party that supports Obama and their so called mores and rules, the party wishing to MAINTAIN THE STATUS QUO OF POWER OVER PEOPLE NOT POWER SHARED BY THE PEOPLE, the party that WAS!!! Go Republicans go. We will be there for you.

Wait until the Rezko —- hits the fan…We'll be stuck with John McCain.

PAUL PROVIDENCE RI   April 16th, 2008 2:02 pm ET

These paid for spots on TV are just that. Hillary if you can read and understand, then please get out of the race. People are bitter and you are not running against Bush. By the way, your husband was in the White House when the had Mr. North up on the stand and asked him who he was afraid of in the middle east. He told the world then about Bin Laden. What did you do with this information…nothing. Then you had a name and country, so please tell the American people the truth.

bernice   April 16th, 2008 2:03 pm ET

Maggie, You get to have Kool Aid when you do some research for yourself and then make an informed choice and opinion. Simple, huh!

Jamaal Kansas   April 16th, 2008 2:04 pm ET

Keep telling the truth Obama they will see right through her Obama 08

Carol, WI   April 16th, 2008 2:04 pm ET

Bitter,

Quit spamming these blogs. You are cutting and pasting the same thing under each article no matter what the subject. is.

How come some people get their comments posted multiple times and others (like myself) can hardly get anything posted??

Jane, NC   April 16th, 2008 2:05 pm ET

The ad set up by Sen. Obama's campaign in which they send their people to her event to boo her, then use that scene, with the booing played very loudly, is the height of negativity.

Janel, St. Paul, MN   April 16th, 2008 2:06 pm ET

It makes me sick thinking of all the money that is going into this "never ending" Democratic primary contest. And all for nothing!

It is pretty clear that Obama will win the nomination. Why not save all the dollars plus the energy that is being applied to this effort?

Bill   April 16th, 2008 2:06 pm ET

Anymore mispeaks er lies that she can try to throw out there. I am not only sorry I once supported her, but starting to regret I voted twice for Bill. End her pain and ours PA. vote for Obama

shirley   April 16th, 2008 2:06 pm ET

Hillary supported NAFTA and the Columbian Trade Deal even after she saw the loss of jobs created by NAFTA; Senator McCain believes war is the answer. My choice is Senator Obama because he has always said he will fight special interests in Washington even at great risk to his campaign. He will use diplomacy in dealing with all Nations to reach compromise if possible; I believe war should not be a substitute for Diplomacy. Hillary and John both have said they would not talk to Nations who will not switch to Democracy. Doesn't Democracy mean free choice, not a form of government to be forced on people and other soverign nations with war and sanctions.

LifeLongDemocrat   April 16th, 2008 2:10 pm ET

I am very bitter and I am NOT from PA. As a product of the 60s I fought for women's rights (no they were not all about abortion). Hillary deserves the nomination, she paid her dues as we all did and she is highly qualified. Obama, on the other hand, was bored after a year in the Senate and needed a change. Tooo bad…wait your turn and get your qualifications up to par.

Hillary is the better candidate and will win in Novemebr. Remember, McGovern, Kerry and Dukasis? They had a bunch of staunch supporters but where did they go in November? Not to the polls, that's for sure.

We showed up in the 60s and we will be there in November!

Go HIll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JB of San Diego   April 16th, 2008 2:11 pm ET

Gary of CA - u want him to win one big blue state eh? Well last time I checked Illinois was a big bell weather Blue State. And I suppose swing states like Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, Virginia and Minnesota don't count?

Look pal, I'm here in Sunny California as well. Let's face some facts my man. U honestly think a Republican is going to win NJ, NY or Cali come November? Pllllleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaase.

Hillary has experience, I'll give you that. But she and her followers are delusional. This race is over. She can not win. You don't know me from Adam but I'm telling you mark my words, this is all a giant waste of time and money. Listen to Chuck Dodd or John King, look at the numbers people. She has no chance of being ahead in delegates and the popular vote come June 2nd. When that happens she's going to continue to divide our party and cause us to fight amongst ourselves while the Sean Hannity's, Anne Coulter's, and Rush Limbaugh's of the world laugh it up.

Let's stop being dilusional for the love of God….this thing is O-V-E-R

Eric-PA   April 16th, 2008 2:11 pm ET

No, Obama hasn't taken on the oil companies. That's a lie. In fact his campaign has taken plenty of money indirectly from the oil companies.

Neutral   April 16th, 2008 2:11 pm ET

OBAMA LIED IN THAT AD!!!!

He VOTED FOR the Bill Dick Cheney pushed in the senate to give tax breaks to oil company!!!!

If Obama is honest, I have a bridge to sell you!

I believe in barack   April 16th, 2008 2:12 pm ET

Barack is our modern day Joseph. He has a dream of what America can be. While Hillary only represents more of the same. My prayer is for Barack to stay strong and to stay focused because the greater blessing is on the way. It's not surprising that his name means "gift from God." When all is said and done, some will regret the choice they"ve made while others like me will say "I told you so." We are living out the poor choices some made 7 plus years ago. Yet many refuse to see what's happening. Wake up from your sleep and make the righ
