(CNN) - The morning after Hillary Clinton attacked Barack Obama over his relationship with William Ayers, founder of Weather Underground, her campaign advisers struggled with questions over her view of pardons for members of that group issued by her husband, former President Bill Clinton.
On a conference call with reporters, spokesman Howard Wolfson said he did not know where the New York senator stood on the pardons, but that he would check.
The Obama campaign has responded to Clinton’s questions to the Illinois senator at Wednesday night’s ABC debate with press releases pointing to the former president’s pardons of Weather Underground members Susan Rosenberg and Linda Evans.
The group, which formed in the 1960s, sought the overthrow of the U.S. government, and carried out violent attacks including bombings.

I knew a crazy man in our neigborhood. We used to be childhood friends. I guess by Hilary/CNN/ABC and right wing argument, I'm also a crazy person. Well, as a white I know this argument wouldn't apply to me, it's only applicable to OBAMA!
Ok, so democrats, now this is getting to the point where it IS beginning to hurt the democrats chance in the fall. Stop attacking each other and tell us why a democratic president is better than another republican president.
All we heard last night was innuendo and smear. Do we believe that Obama and Clinton hate America? I don't.
Do we believe that Clinton and Obama believe that planting bombs at the Pentagon is an acceptable way to show anger with the government? I don't.
Anyone who does is as self-delusional as any terrorist. Calling people names isn't a great way to determine if they are good candidates. The moderators last night basically said – we accuse you of being 1) unpatriotic 2) a hate-filled bigot 3) a terrorist sympathizer.
What the heck are the candidates supposed to say? The proper answer is that you are asking insulting stupid questions.
I like the tax questions. I don't think either candidate really explained their positions very well. But after being accused as they were, maybe they were both thrown a little off guard. ABC was clumsy and stupid and they think we are too. ABC I feel that you insulted ME.

Hillary supporters sho say Barack looked like a deer under the inquisition should thank him. The only real powerful counterpunch on the pardons Hillary immediately recoiled choosing to respond after the break and then never brought it up. Think what would happen if she was going after a similar or old-style politician like the republicans.
HE is the one who pardoned them – not her. Why should she be held accountable to answer for what he did? Oh – and I'm not even a Democrat.

I'm sorry, but the "I'm not sure, but I'll check" response typically doesn't fly in politics. Coming from a professional human spin cycle such as Howard Wolfson, I really would have expected a more drawn-out, illogical response than that.

Hillary has made a point of taking credit for things done during the "Clinton Administration" therefore when Bill pardoned those criminals ...she should also be responsible. She has also claimed her "experience" from being in the White House. If she learned how to be a President from Bill.... then we are in trouble.

ABC hosted a horrible debate. The policy questions were 45 minutes in to the debate! The hosts kept interupting, it was plain awful..NBC or CNN from now on please.
