Sylvia from Florida,
Wouldn't it be interesting if Florida started becoming less relevant on the national stage. RealClearPolitics.com shows that Clinton is slightly behind McSame in FL, but that Obama is ahead of McSame in Michigan. If FL's Dem Party keeps screwing up so badly, then no wonder the Rep's can steal elections there. Obama will do great with many Southern states and he'll take enough of the rest of the swing states

Florida voted for Jeb and Bush and Bush and even if it was stolen, it was too dang close when your dealing with the RNC and Dibolt.

We might be ready to conceded Florida.

If Hillary is truly vetting Obama because she knows the republican machine and this will just help him ,right. Why would you smear a candidate in your own party with lies and half truths.Hillary is the biggest, lying, deceitful individual I have ever seen.Take your loss and just leave, because I am sure Obama nor the democratic party needs your kind of help to be stronger.

You know, I think it's funny when there's a lot of comments that Obama is winning, and still in this, because he's gotten such a large percentage of the African American vote in this country because of his race. Yet, Hillary has a large percentage of the female vote, because she's female, and so many fewer people comment on that.

Even if you count the blog entries made by women in most of these comments, then take the percentage of those that are Hillary supporters, you'll see a strong majority of those comments made by females on here are Hillary supporters. Just an observation that not many comment on.

I live in Florida, and many Democrats say that if Obama wins the nomination, they will vote for the republican candidate. Florida is a swing state and crucial in this election in November. Hillary can win Florida, and Obama will not be able to do that. Obama supporters,be pragmatic and practical about your candidate. He does not have the experience to run for president. He will loose against the republicans in the south and in Florida too. Get used to that idea, cause it is the reality here in the South.

The democratic party has been experiencing a slow split for the last 10 years.

Obama has accentuated and capitalized on that schism for personal political gain.

On one side you have the left wing elitists who intellectually embrace the idea of equality- but can not and do not put it into practice.

They continue to look down their noses at the less fortunate, who they label uneducated, and then profess to want to "save them".

They support Obama. Because of his skin color, African Americans also overwhelmingly support him, irregardless of political, educational or economic position

On the other side you have the lifelong democrats who are more centrist and populist. They believe in democracy and have protested marched and worked for equality. They see all Americans as one people with a shared future. They support Clinton.

We WILL NOT come together just for party loyalty and unity in Nov. We have a right and an obligation to support the BEST Candidate.

I think this proves what many have been saying about Obama ALSO winning the states that Clinton has won so far in the primaries. In effect, Clinton has not won anything that Obama wouldn´t win anyway.

"Clinton has the same lead over McCain in purple states, but she does not fare as well as Obama in the “blue” states and also trails McCain by a larger margin than Obama in the traditionally Republican “red” states."

Bessie: Umm, Obama has won more primary states that HRC too. It's not just abotu caucuses.

Oh, and by the way, caucusing relies on ground-support and the motivation of your supporters. HRC should have had all Democratic candidates trumped on those scores, but her campaign decided to ignore them in favor of big states only.

If she had tried to compete everywhere more aggresively and with a better campaign message and strategy, your point might be vailid and sh might be winning now. But she didn't, and she is therefore losing. You can point to caucuses being unfair. Or you can reflect on the reality of the above.

If the people in PA are as in tune to faith and values as portrayed they will never vote for Hillary. That would be hypocritical to due after all the media exposure.Lying to the people like she has is unacceptable in any faith. The definition of "elitest" in political terms means "unelectable".Last night once again she got caught in a lie.Not to mention there are photos of her and Bill with Rezco.Does that make her a crook? There was the impeachment,Peter Paul trial,Bosnia, the former presidents remarks (worse than Obamas-they are on the Huffington Post),lie after lie.I don't think the good people in PA could possibly back a phoney like like. That would be insulting their own intelligence.

Obama is ahead in delegates is mostly due to him winning or cheating the caucuses. Numerous complaints have been filed against the Obama campaign for cheating the process. There will be no caucuses in the general election. He will not win.

CNN please post this- it is not a duplicate because you have not posted it.

ABCs debate was the most specific, relevant and fair one.

Under those circumstances- with no Obama panderings- Hillary excelled and Obama tanked.

He hedges ALL his positions.

No to Obama.

Hillary is the BEST candidate and will make a great president.

I want all of you southern Democrats to blog the Huffpost and read the article about what HRC stated in 1995 about us. Her statement was---
"SCREW THEM". This is what she really think of us. We here in rural
NC are going to put Obama over the top. We know "HONESTY". We also know that the old saying about an old dog ----- " YOU MAY MAKE AN OLD DOG BARK, BUT, YOU CAN'T TEACH HIM/HER NEW TRICKS'. HRC and all them talking heads are all the same ---- "SAME
BARK BUT NO NEW TRICKS ----- OLD NEWS IS NO NEWS IN THE FACE OF TRUTH'. With HRC and them heads engaging their mouth
before their brains is becoming a habit when they don't understand
'GOD'S WILL BE DONE'. It is no mircle that Obama is winning the people's minds and heart, that is what honesty and truth will do to those that really know what "HOPE AND CHANGE' AND ITS RELATIONSHIP TO HONESTY AND TRUTH.

However you want to impugn these results, they are important in that they go to the last remaining hope for HRC - to convince superdelegates that she is more electable. Indeed, they show that she is less electable.

I like her. In fact, over the past several months I have started to like her more than Bill. But I prefer Obama. And it seems for the timebeing anyway that a majority of Democracts and - more generally - Americans do. It doesn't make her bad, disliked, etc. It's just where things are right now. This would have been her moment in history if not for Obama and for that I actually feel for her a bit. But I hope she graciously accepts it before the convention.

And it seems for the timebeing anyway that a majority of Democracts and – more generally – Americans do. It doesn't make her bad, disliked, etc. It's just where things are right now. This would have been her moment in history if not for Obama and for that I actually feel for her a bit. But I hope she graciously accepts it before the convention.

Independent for Hillary, Pittsburgh April 17th, 2008 11:56 am ET

I wish they would stop with all the polling.

The winner of an election between Obama and McCain would be based on who wins over Clintons voters. If McCain takes 20% (significant pop. especially in critical areas) then he wins. If Clinton supporters decide to support Obama then he will win.

Personally, I wont support Obama because I think McCain is more experienced and would do a better job. But I am a conservative Independent and I cant speak for other Clinton supporters
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes there are MILLIONS of us who will never supprt or vote for OBAMA.

There is a diffrence between being "educated" vs. being "learned."

After reading 95% of the notes (blogs) above, here are some conclusions:

1. Hillary's supporters may be learned, but they are not educated. That is, they show gross negligence in doing research to uncover the truth.

2. Majority of Hillary's supporters write using "uppercase" letters, suggesting that they are rude, bitter, and inconsiderate.

3. Like their candidate, most of Obama supporters are very humble and put this nation "first". Wealth and greed are seen as secondary or remote issues.

We all know the reason Obama is ahead - he is getting the African American vote - it has nothing to do with his being the right person or not - period. Which is sad because we are facing tougher times than what we are already facing and Obama will not be the person to straighten things out. If he is the nominee, McCain gets my vote - no matter what the DNC or for that matter Hillary wants - period.

Linda: "New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Florida, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Oregon.

. Why didn't CNN show how much Sen. Clinton is ahead in these states, "Don't want to make obama look bad"

Out of those states Obama won 6 clinton won 4 (2 of which Obama did not appear on the ballot or campaign) and 2 have not voted yet (currently it looks like they will split PA and OR). Oh and in these states Obama is up by 96 total pledged delegates. Perhaps do some research next time.

Barack may have struggled a bit last night but at least he has a chance against McCain, Clinton has zero chance of winning. Her honesty level is at an all time low and she is running on EXPERIENCE. McCain will level her when it comes to experience. She CAN'T WIN.

Rechi---tell me, what does 'patriotism' mean to you? Please, do not begin with explaining what it doesn't mean in half thought out references to Senator Obama. In my opinion, he is exactly the kind of patriotic American we need as president. I get the feeling I'm not the only one thinking this right now.

Another thing Obamabots do not realize is that a lot of independents are voting for Hilary of which I am one. Please do not insult my intelligence by stating, with latte in hand, that I am a traitor to the democratic party if I take McCain over Obama. I will vote for the best leader--not follow the "groupies" of which you are a part. After all, this IS the USA of which I am a part-no matter who I vote for.

Obama supporters need to stop. I am a Hillary supporter and I beleive Obama will win the nomination. But his supporters will make it hard for anyone who supports hillary to vote for him. So he may win the battle for the nominaton but he will lose the war for the white house, unless the tone changes. Somebody made a challenge for the supporters of Hillary and Obama to say something good about the other one and I dont think anyone took them up on it, maybe I will start. I am a Hillary supporter, but I do beleive that Obama's unique childhood can bring something great to the white house and and the world.

Seven years ago, Sen. Barack Obama was on the board of a Chicago charity when his former boss, Allison S. Davis, came looking for money.

At the time, Davis was a developer represented by the law firm where Obama worked, as well as a small contributor to Obama's political campaign funds. He wanted the charity to help fund his plans to build housing for low-income Chicagoans.

When Allison Davis (right) sought money for a project, his former employee, Sen. Barack Obama, voted to help.

Obama agreed. He voted with other directors of the Woods Fund of Chicago to invest $1 million with Neighborhood Rejuvenation Partners L.P., a $17 million partnership that Davis still operates.

It's not clear whether Obama told other board members of his ties to Davis, whose family would go on to donate more than $25,000 to Obama's political campaigns, including his bid to be president of the United States.

"Let me get back to you on that," Obama presidential campaign spokesman Bill Burton said when asked about that two weeks ago. He never did.

ABC was soooo biased!!!! Why didn't they attack Hillary about Mark Penn the same way that Obama was attack about Rev.Wright?! Was there even any Mark Penn questions? Makes me wonder she wrote some of the questions herself. So even though there was 3 against 1 last night Obama still came out on top and that is why he will be our next President.

ABC shame on you. It is the "PEOPLE" stupid. It took one of the Clintonite's to called out HRC for what she really is. If anyone noticed,
she still in her admission of lying added she must get more sleep. Like Joe Scarbourough and all the others, Obama is going to be our next president. Honesty wins out everytime. All these talking heads are all the same. Us small town folks understand a lot more that we are given credit. Most of us were educated in large cities (PHILLY) and know that people like George and Joe will do or say anything like HRC to promote themselves. We want to let them and the CLINTONITES know that the page in politics has been turned. November has already been determined. The problem with all of them is they haven't awaken to that reality yet. Another old saying ---
"LET SLEEPING LIE". Now you have awaken the sleeping dog, "IT
IS NOT POLITICS AS USUAL ANYMORE" . Thank God for Obama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no problem with ABC asking Obama those questions in the debate and I think he handled them pretty well. Unlike Hillary who would threw a tantrum even for being asked questions first !! What I and I think most Obama supporters have a problem with, is that George and Charlie didn't ask Hillary equally tough questions about Mark Penn, about the columbia trade etc.

I, as an Obama supporter, have enough confidence in my candidate that he can asnwer any tough questions intelligently as he has been. But I do have a problem with him being called anit- american or a liar !! Any person with common sense can see that the man like Hillary cares about the country. He probably cares a lot more than Hillary does !!

Whats going to be really comical (if Obama sweet talks his way to the Presidency) sheepishly makes excuses as to why he puts troops back in Iraq after he prematurely withdraws troops against his commanders' advice (who actually have some military and foreign policy understanding)? Once he screws the situation up there and allows the fighting to get worse he will be facing chants to stop the genocide in Iraq, just like Darfur, and will have to put troops back. Or even better will be seeing how he blames President Bush or McCain when he doesn't come through on his promise to 'completely withdraw within 18 months' or whatever other crap he has promised. Hey Obamorons, don't be fooled by another smooth talking politician who promises whatever to get elected.

By the way, Dave B., right on in your post. Well said. But since Paul probably wouldn't win, go McCain!

By the way, Dave B., right on in your post. Well said. But since Paul probably wouldn't win, go McCain!

Okay - Clinton Camp may WISH the Debate was "game changing" - I'm sure that is what Stephanopolis (Clinton's former aid and wanna-be future aid) wishes as well - And this was a game changer - for ABC - their news department has totally LOST ALL CREDABILITY

Linda, LInda, Linda....
Your must be watching another election coverage to equate Hillary with Honesty.... Everyone knows those two words don't belong in the same sentence.. Get real. There is a poll out that over 1/2 the voting people believe she is dishonest....

Well its the best debate I have seen yet no clapping or booing.

Clinton wiped the floor with him and its for a reason, she knows he won't stand up to the Republican machine come November. Her jazzing up the Bosnia landing is nothing to what will be thrown at Obama about Rezko, Ayers and Wright and it will be constant with adds and more adds when he is the nominee. McCain will steam roll him on foreign policy in a debate. His platform on Hope and Change won't work in dog eat dog politics of today.

To those of you who don't believe that at least 20% of Clinton's backers will vote for McCain, you'll find out in Nov. I cannot support someone whose own supporters say so many terrible things about my candidate. Talk about the politics of personal destruction. It's not enough to beat Clinton, she has to be a terrible person as well. Over 14 million people have voted for this 'terrible' person and you'll want their votes if Obama gets the nomination. But you won't get mine. And I have been a party activist for over 40 years, through thick and thin and now I'm outta there. The dem party or whats left of it, is now the Kennedy/Obama/Kerry party. A permanent minority.

I don't hear the Obama supporters complaining when CNN and NBC constantly rip Hillary apart and praise the Great Obama. If you think that the majority of Americans will support this joke of a candidate you are in for a big surprise in November.

Last night Clinton finally had to admit that Obama can win in November, essentially crippling her primary sales pitch to the superdelegates that he can't. Now these numbers come out that show Obama fares just as well as Senator Clinton in swing states against McCain, and that he does better in both blue and red states. So much for the "stronger swing state candidate" theory. The fact that this information was collected while Senator Obama was getting shelled by both Clinton and McCain does nothing but improve Obama's "toughness" credentials to superdelegates and further weakens Hiillary Clinton's relevancy. I'd watch out for flocks of superdelegates joining Obama after the Pennsylvania outcome.

Did you hear Clinton last night. She said Yes, Yes, Yes Sen. Obama can beat McCain. So, she admits she lied again when she said he was not electable. She has been saying for months that he was not electable, well; now that it has been said on National television in the face of millions, she can't make that case with the Super Delegates anymore. Which is why Sen. Obama received 4 more SD endorsements right after the debate.

Hillary is pathetic and a liar. If she spent 20 years in a church listening to her spiritual leader, she would not be doing these underhanded tactics. She says her faith gets her through, everyone in that conference should have moved two rows back before the lightning bolt struck. I know it's not faith; it's another 4 years of greed and power that gets her through. She is supposed to be a Christian, this woman would make anyone lose their religion. The fact that Sen. Obama hasn't gone after her the way she is going after him, shows that he is more of a Christian than Hillary will ever be. Maybe, that what she can't tolerate. Shame on you Hillary, Shame, Shame on you.

Clinton/Obama will benefit Obama. He can have eight years of VP oval office experience so he can run and win in 2016. We can have Obama for a total of 16 years. Think about it... Clinton/Obama!!
