ERIE, Pennsylvania (CNN) -– Fresh off his appearance via satellite on 'The Colbert Report' Thursday, Comedy Central announced Friday that Democrat Barack Obama will also be a guest on 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' Monday — the eve of the critical Pennsylvania primary.

According to a Comedy Central press release, the Illinois senator's appearance will mark his third on the 'fake news' broadcast.

This is great news. The Daily Show and The Colbert Report are the two best shows on television, in my opinion. Hilarious and TRUE at the same time.

That's what I love about living in this country. If we were living in China Jon Stewart would not be allowed on the air.

ANYONE BUT MCCAIN '08!

Santiago   April 18th, 2008 2:30 pm ET

Appearing on the Daily show will be very beneficial to our next president Barack Obama, the more appearances the more people get to know him and vote for him in the Pennsylvania primary

First Farrakhan, then Hamas endorses Barack Obama. And that's no joke.

I think a fake new broadcast is the perfect place to discuss his fake campaign slogan… change and unity!

"Fake news" is appropriate for the "fake senator" and "fake Christian" and Goodness only knows whatever else is fake about him. We're just starting to learn about him.

Funny that CNN calls the Daily Show "fake news" but considers Fox, ABC and CNN (I said it) "real news."

Two things I can take from this nomination cycle, one I knew and one I didn't: I don't trust HRC and I don't trust CNN.

Newman   April 18th, 2008 2:36 pm ET

Stephen   April 18th, 2008 2:40 pm ET

Just like on policy, Obama is following Clinton's lead.

Eddie   April 18th, 2008 2:42 pm ET

Seems to me that all of these news stations are fake, gossiping networks.

ABG   April 18th, 2008 2:42 pm ET

Maybe Obama will re-create the gesture he made after talking about Hillary Clinton and the debate.

Every word and action Obama does is calculated. Did he think people would not care or notice the obvious perception he wanted to convey?

What a role model for all the kids who viewed this tape and said Wow, if he can do this so can I!

We need kids to know respect, not the message Obama sent.
