Wonderful, wonderful! Obama fans should learn the rules. Superdelegates are not required to ratify the vote of pledged delegates.They are required to vote their conscience to preserve the party and protect the party faithful from hostile takeovers by third parties and/or radical inside extremist.
The party faithful have and continue to vote out of duty. We don't need to be "inspired" or have a "crush on" etc, etc, etc. Guess who the inside extremist are?

Why doesn't this story even mention the fact that Obama scored three HUGE endorsements today: Robert Reich, Sam Nunn and David Boren???

In fact, I don't see anything about Nunn (Fmr Armed Services Chairman) and Boren (fmr Intelligence chairman) anywhere on the CNN website.

Every superdelegate has seen

Hillary 's strong performance in every debate.

On the other hand, they have seen Obama performing poorly when he does not have his outline at hand ( that probably is prepared by his Preacher Mr. Wright) he is "just words" (but unexperienced ones)
Obama offended millions of Americans and even questioned core American values ( gun ownership and faith)

We should remember that the press needs this to drag out all summer. They will prop up whoever is in trouble (i.e. Clinton right now) to help her stay afloat.

Richt abandons her, Obama gets all the Penn newspaper endorsements, gets four new superdelegates (and not from states he's already one) and they headline Hillary getting fewer delegates, including some from a state she won in February.

Who really cares at this time: Hillary would need well over 50 plus more delegates and well over 50,000 plus popular votes to even think of "pulling close" to Obama. The facts remain, unless of course you flunked high school math, each time Hillary's numbers increase, Obama's will increase at a similar rate. Given that he is ahead in all areas, how is Hillary ever going to pull this off without "buying" the votes of the superdelagtes with her $109 million? Some of us hope that if Hillary pays for the votes, she will have enough money left to pay a month's rent (or mortage) for each of her active middle-low income supporters as well. Otherwise, I do not see why they are wasting so much of their time on a losing candidate!
