Clinton camp: Obama was a 'hypocrite from day one'

(CNN) – Hillary Clinton’s campaign accused surrogates for Barack Obama of resurrecting her controversial comments over Bosnian sniper fire Saturday.

"One of the inherent duties of the president of the United States is to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Memorial Day,” said Gen. Walter Stewart on an Obama campaign conference call on the issue of Bosnia - remarks circulated by the Clinton campaign Saturday afternoon.

“Now we can assume, and let's keep in mind that Senator Clinton has said she was under sniper fire, or she joked about, which to me was the cruelest part of all this, she joked about it with Jay Leno. … Imagine the lack of moral authority she has now to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on Memorial Day.”

Clinton had faced criticism for claiming that her plane landed under sniper fire during a trip to Bosnia she made as First Lady.

The Clinton campaign pointed to Obama’s statement at Wednesday night’s debate that his campaign only commented on the Bosnia incident when asked. "When it comes to negative campaign tactics, Senator Obama has been a hypocrite from day one, decrying attack politics from one side of his mouth while he and his campaign wage a character assassination effort from the other,” said Clinton spokesman Phil Singer. “The juxtaposition of Senator Obama’s comments in the debate and the remarks made on his campaign conference call this afternoon prove the point."

i guess obama must be stinking up his own camp.
for them to reach this low?

does obama think for a fleeting moment that his lie which bears great consequences to this nation is even on the same PLANET with what Clinton said about Bosnia?

obviously, obama is fully aware of the shameful way he perforemd the other night and now he's reaching at gossip and straws?

is this something a President would hold onto and continue, or should we begin listing his lies from AYERS, TO THE $250,000 HE GOT from Rezko, to the lie he told about his parents came together as a result of Selma when he was actually born 4 years before Selma?

should we dredge up the fact he lied tht he was a Law Professor but turned out to be a lecturer, or should we remember that he said he didnt know about the Reverend but April 30, 2007 article at nytimes.com clearly says he was interviewed more than a year ago about these very same remarks?

where do we start with Mr. Obama's consequences-lies

maybe he would like to explain that questionnaire again that he did not know about but just happens to hve his personal handwriting all over it?

does this guy know how to pick his fights?
he comes to gunfight armed with a grin and a speech?

It would be totally appropriate for McCain to ask Clinton to be his v.p.
It might even be a ticket that could beat Obama...if Americans are brain dead. They both unapologetically parrot this same crap about Obama being an elitist. These are two people whose family wealth is over $100,000,000.

Please elect McCain so I can keep my tax breaks or Hillary so I can invest in some multinational corporation that has financial activities in our great ally in South America, Colombia. I will do okay, thank you. But can most of you in the heartland of America, particularly Pennsylvania, afford to give away the money to live on so that McCain's wife or Hillary's husband make obscene profit?

If you elect either Clinton or McCain I will have no trouble justifying my
making money off of your backs. You will desire it! I will sleep just fine.

Welcome to Opening Day of Silly Season. Hillary loves to lie, she'll say anything to get one vote closer to Sen. Obama, but the people have gotten their wake-up call, they're awakening from the nightmare of what would be HillBillary as our Demander In Chief.

    GO OBAMA '08

What a travesty. It won't be soon enough when she, Howard Wolfson, and Phil Singer are relegated to the dust-bin of American political history.

Enough with the charactar demonizations. Clinton and McCain are two peas in a pod when it comes to acting ugly. I would not want either child to be President!

Pathetic. Both of you. Just get on with the issues that everyone would prefer to hear about. The hope that accompanied the early part of the democratic primary season is eroding quickly and that only increases the chances of another bush like president in the white house.

  10. At this point we don't know who is hypo.

Who is more of the hypo?
You can' t always criticize someone and ecpect him to be silent.

Now you know how it feels to campaign with criticism. It hurt when someone go negative on you intead on focusing on the issues.
Don't whine now because you stated it Hillary.

I'll be very happy when the former First Lady Hillary Clinton drops out of the race because I am so tired of her negative campaign and sneaky sneaky tactics. Senator Obama is honest, fresh, seems to have good judgement and decision making skills, and would make a great president. How long must the democratic debates last? It is time for Senator Clinton to drop out of the race!

  13. Sniper fire

Clinton's camp want to attack Obama all the time and whenever he responds they call foul...
Although Hillary has many negatives, the sniper fire is particularly serious. McCain (or McSame) can put a 30 seconds add showing the claim and the actual picture, without a need for any comment, and every body will concludes that she is a liar...She is not electable and McSame would love to face her...
McSame loves to have Hillary as his democratic opponent and both are now ganging against Obama...PA, this lady is toxic for the democratic party and she does not care if we loose in November

Clinton is on her last leg, she is pulling out all the stops, She Will do anything and say anything to win, She would sell her own Mother out to win. She has to stop this. We the American people are wise to her and to the Media that loves her. Lets talk about issues, lets talk about the 109 millon you and Bill have made. Lets talk about the truth, lets talk about issues that matter to the regluar working stiffs in this country. Obama has the answers, has the people working together and the media and Clinton can not stand it.
Come on American lets show the Media, the Clintons that we the people can see past the B.S and lets get on to the issues.

That is not truth. Hillary has been the negative one 1 to 10.

If Obama has said somehting against Hillary it has been to defend himself.

Hillary has been the one who has attack Obama the most for insignificant issues.

At least Hillary fessed up and answered for the Bosnia gaffe in the latest debate. I give her credit for apologizing. Obama wiggled out of answering all the tough questions. If he cannot handle the pressure of a debate, how can we expect him to handle the pressure of the presidency?

Is this the same Clinton camp that placed a call to Canada regarding NAFTA, then blamed it on Obama?

She's ready for petty, trivial nonsense on day one. She wants to be president but she's as far from being presidential as any human being could be. She's run a campaign into the ground, alienated her staff, run out of money and blown huge leads while detroying the Democratic Party. She is awful.

She brags on her great experience, then when she is called on it concerning going to Bosnia, she cries foul.
