Exit polls: College grads help Obama in PA

College graduates supported Obama in Pennsylvania's primary Tuesday.
College graduates supported Obama in Pennsylvania's primary Tuesday.

(CNN) - While Clinton has won the state of Pennsylvania, it appears she won't win it by as wide a margin as she did Ohio.

One reason for this appears to be the fact that the Democratic electorate in Pennsylvania includes more college-educated voters - a voting bloc that has reliably supported Obama.

In Ohio, only 38 percent of Democratic voters had a college degree - in Pennsylvania, 46 percent did.

Smart people unite...Hillary lost...she has fooled her supporters into thinking she can bring back the 90's again. Her husband was lucky because of the internet boom provided the growth for a balanced budget. She is stuck in the past like most of her old supporters.

An interesting tendency. People are rather inclined to pawn Obama supporters off as children, inexperienced and ill-equipped to make a reasonable decision. But when you factor solely education, ignoring all other factors, the most educated favor Obama reliably. Anybody else see a discrepancy here?

Perhaps Clinton supporters have a point, Obama comes off as too elitist. He should have explained things in terms the fine people of Pennsylvania could understand- "What's the difference between a bag of fertilizer and Hillary Clinton- the bag of fetilizer won't lie to you. Lie you ask, that's when someone says your pick up is red when it's really green." Sad.

it's pretty sad that democrats are so divided. No wonder the republicans laugh at us. We can't even get our crap together. People are saying if their candidate doesn't win they are going to vote for the republican – get your crap together – wake up and smell the coffee. We don't need 4 more years of republicans in the house. WAKE UP AMERICA and stop acting like your kids!

Yeah, it was the same thing here in Texas. All of the uneducated are voting for Hillary. Goes to show how many uneducated people there are. Oh well, she did not get more than 10 points on Barack in PA so, as far as I'm concerned, she did not show an impressive victory. Considering she led by huge margins 7 weeks ago. Goes to show Hillary cannot KEEP her supporters the longer they know her.

Clinton may have won the primary but she didn't pull off the win that she needed and its not going to be much help to her in making a dent in Obama's lead in pledged votes and the popular vote. He will easily make it back up in North Carolina. This just prolongs the pain for the Democratic Party.

I'm a college student and I am NOT voting for Obama. College students just like him because he's "popular." Many of them have no idea how liberal he is. I can't believe anyone would support a man that agrees with abortion. As mush as I dislike Hilary, I hope she beats Obama in the primaries, and loses the November election.

I don't like the decriminatory inuendo of this story. I am college educated and know many college educatd people who support Hillary like myself. Of course there is a really big difference between being educated and intelligent.

Of course they did... at least the young people in this country aren't motivated by fear-mongering like the older generation who want more of the same deceitful garbage Hilary is dishing out. I am so ashamed of my elders.

    Thanks for nothing PA!

    And why?

After he insulted the people of Pennsylvania.

    Think about that.

We do not need a president who insults the people, and......

    Obama already has!

A win is a win, especially when Obama out spent her 3 to 1. She is a fighter and she will not quit until she wins in November. Obama can spin it all he wants, but the truth is, he cannot win in the big states and the swing states. Go HILLARY!!!
