Exit polls: College grads help Obama in PA

College graduates supported Obama in Pennsylvania's primary Tuesday.
College graduates supported Obama in Pennsylvania's primary Tuesday.

(CNN) - While Clinton has won the state of Pennsylvania, it appears she won't win it by as wide a margin as she did Ohio.

One reason for this appears to be the fact that the Democratic electorate in Pennsylvania includes more college-educated voters - a voting bloc that has reliably supported Obama.

In Ohio, only 38 percent of Democratic voters had a college degree - in Pennsylvania, 46 percent did.

Sorry, but I'm a 25 year old PA college grad in engineering, doing quite well for myself, and I voted for CLINTON!

"more college-educated voters — a voting bloc that has reliably supported Obama"

It's good to know that at least the educated voted for Obama. I can't be more disappointed in results than I am in the results of the ignorant voters of PA. No one should be voting for someone simply based on race or gender. The old ways are what got us in this mess. It's time to try something new. Get a backbone America!

Hillary supporters: I don't know if you like her because you're actually ignorant, or if she tries to court you as a voting bloc because she thinks you're ignorant, but either way you're being manipulated. Stop believing her nonsense.

Sen. Clinton will not be able to win the youth vote like Sen. Obama. they will either vote for him or no one at all. The pundits say that Sen. Clinton will win the general election, but i believe this is only possible if one is counting these new youth votes. Many people are voting for Sen. Obama because he energizes them (positive campaign), and they are for Sen. Clinton because they don't like Sen. Obama (negative campaign). So who do you think would make the best candidate?

Do you think by insulting people who voted for Hillary, you will convince them to vote for Obama in GE? Who is dumb here?

@ chris in VA – your comments are utter nonsense and full of ignorance. Your comments are the comments that divide the Democratic party. Shame.

Let's not get caught up in the educated verses the less educated. The main thing is that they are voting democrat and regardless of who wins, please vote democrat. Republicans are crossing over voting democrat and they have a good reason for that, it's called Bush and his clone McCain. United democrats can take the White House. Vote democrat.

If you want to know why the young flock to Obama… its because "YA CANT TEACH OLD DOGS NEW TRICKS"
So its plain to see how this works out the old dogs wants the same 'old' tricks!
Thats why Gas is out the roof, thats why your kids will go to war in Iran and thats why Hillary can LIE LIE LIE and still get the votes of the 'old dogs'
Dumb folks flock to Hillary thats why she can trick them! Sad!

Oh, how the "educated elite" are attacking, tonight! Maybe you should take up hunting or religion to overcome your "bitterness". How is it that a little education makes you people so much better than the rest of us? We don"t really "feel" that inferior. Hilary 2008

Looks like those in the suburb are still in the 90s. Out of touch & out of reach. They don't know what the reality & who Obama is. They voted for the faded glory ! Obama camp must change their own mindset to win.

It proves my point that you can send a person to the best college in the world and they still come out stupid. What a waste of an education.
That is why we have to import doctors and engineers from places like India and Pakistan.

  24. A GEORGIA MAMA THAT LOVES OBAMA!!!!

What does this say?? Dumb people vote for Clinton, because they believe all the lies and hypocrosy that she dishes out. She's going to keep jobs from being shipped out?

During the 8 year Clinton reign, was when all the jobs were shipped out and we were sold up the river!

I say get out of the race Hillary! You may have won PA by a narrow margin because they are uneducated and stuck in their old ways, but you did not seal the deal by sweeping Obama. This doesn't change anything!

Obama for President '08, Yes We Can and Yes We Will!

She only won by a few points. Now she has to beg for money to keep running. I wonder how she will run the US economy.
