(CNN) – Hillary Clinton stressed her gun and church-going credentials following Barack Obama's "bitter" comments, and it appears to have paid off.

According to the exit polls, 58 percent of gun owners voted for Clinton while 42 percent went for Obama.

Among Pennsylvania Democrats who attend church at least once a week, Clinton is beating Obama 59 percent to 41 percent.

Well the last president this demographic voted for was W. This is obviously not a block of voters with the wherewithall to make educated decisions about our country. This block of voters always votes against their economical interests. Should we be surprised that they vote for meaningless things like guns, gays, abortion...can we revoke their right to vote before this country rolls back in time to the prehistoric era of heathens?

    Lieing is a sin.
Why do the religious folks continue to vote for liars who use their faith against them?

Bill, I beleive people are still voting. Are you trying to get a few more votes for Hillary? Why are you playing religion and guns now?

We can't really say how much Clinton's comments paid off or how much Obama's comments hurt him. We don't know how many of those people would have voted Clinton if the gaffe had never happened. Was there a lot of overlap between those groups and the people who were expected to vote for Hillary all along?

Hillary goes for the jugular with fear to get a vote. She has also outsourced tens of thousands of precious US jobs overseas for her own political gain to India, China, and Mexico and supports NAFTA. Oh wait, she also habitually lies or "misspeaks".

Again, tell us exactly why she is a positive candidate for president?

BARACK OBAMA FOR THE WIN AND THE NOMINATION! :-)

Yeah if you don't need to THINK about life, why oh why would you THINK about your vote.

If any gun owner sees a difference between the two democratic candidates on gun rights, they need to get their eyes checked. They both say they support firearm ownership, but both have voted for legislation that seriously interferes with your right to "keep" (meaning 'own') and "bear" (meaning 'to carry') arms. You should check their voting records, as action speaks louder than words.

The thought of either one of these candidates' spouses in the White House is more than any citizen needs to bear for citizenship!

This is crazy. It appears that people are voting the Clinton brand. They should go into the corporate clothing business or something like Martha Stewart, geez. Give someone else a chance to be in the WhiteHouse. Give someone else the opportunity to try and make the country a better place. If she wins I will never vote again. And nor will many people that I know. Clinton needs to go away. Let this young man take the world by storm not just the country.

And again, proving the truthfulness of what Obama said.........and also giving credence to the stupidity of the spin placed on it by Fox Noise/Faux News and their inept journalists. The fact that Senator Clinton would stoop to a new low and pander to this tells me more than what I need to know that she appears to be an opportunist, and for all of her "solutions", we will ultimately end up with more of the same....Washington powerbrokers and politics as usual, to continue to political dynasty of the Bush/Clinton era.

Church goers are obviously very gullible...so they would naturally fall for Clinton's line of baloney. They are also innately paranoid of muslims and so own guns to protect themselves more often than rational non-believers...

She is just a piece of work, isn't she?! I know the voters in PA are smart enough to see through her lies, distortions and spin. It makes me sad as I used to support the Clintons and admire their leadership within the party. What a sad, sad turn they've taken. Thank goodness for Obama...a new, fresh, clean vision.

    Obama 2008!

Doesn't matter who votes for Obama or Clinton. McCain is going to win in November regardless.

People are still in fear over their security due to 9/11 and they're not going to change the flow....which is what you'll get with McCain.
