Wow, Hillary is so campaign cash poor that she's stealing Barack's rallying cry. LOL

TC   April 22nd, 2008 10:42 pm ET

Good Lord... All these people said they thought she is dishonest AND then VOTED FOR HER? Isn't that the one important trait we should insist on in ANY President?

What the hell?

kentucky   April 22nd, 2008 10:41 pm ET

Anyone is more honest then a Clinton/

Excellent question, Diane, and one to be considered only after the fact that PA just gave 'Hillary "(19)08' a victory.

The Realist   April 22nd, 2008 10:38 pm ET

I believe Clinton is dishnest. This has been my biggest issue with her campagin spin...I would like to understand why people say Obama is attacking Hillary Clinton. He has, at every turn, treated her with respect and tact.

She has launched a campagin that is far more negative than anything John McCain has put out to date.

I understand that Clinton does better when she is seen as the victim. My question is, why are we accepting her status as a victim with so much evidence to the contrary?

Brenda OBAMA MAMA FOREVER!!!!!!   April 22nd, 2008 10:36 pm ET

Hillarys out right lies makes it IMPOSSIBLE for me to ever beleive in her. There's help out there for pathological liars...there called Dr.s.
She should seek their lounge chair instead of the Oval Office chair.
One current president I can't trust has costs us dearly in lives and a failing economy, we do NOT need another ie;Hillary in whom I cannot trust.
Hhhmm, great slogan for fake $1.00 bills.

WE NEED OBAMA 08 and 12.!!!!!!!!!!

Pennsylvania doesn't make sense . . . why would you vote for someone you view as dishonest: Hillary Clinton?

Jill   April 22nd, 2008 10:25 pm ET

Look go to Politifact.com and find out who tells the biggest whoppers.
Hillary of course.

Most of you do not seem to have lived through the Clinton White House years. The endless sleaziness and the failure in any situation to simply tell the truth. It got old fast. Tawdry affair in the Oval Office total lack of any basic respect for the Office he held. She is just as bad and I do not want to go through that kind of nightmare again. She may have some limited experience but she learned nothing from it but more bad habits.

Rob   April 22nd, 2008 10:24 pm ET

How did any of you vote for the liar? And don't tell me they all do....

A vote for Hillary is not smart.

I love PA...they believe that Obama is more trustworthy...but yet they vote for Hillary....Sooooooooooo that means they want a liar in the White House...haven't we had one of those for 8 years? PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE.....make her go away!

Richard Moore   April 22nd, 2008 10:21 pm ET

More PA voters view Clinton as dishonest, yet they vote for her. Our country deserves to be desecrated and destroyed.

The title alone tells me all I need to know about P.A. voters who voted for Clinton in spite of the honesty comment. I know what they are teaching their children...its okay to tell a lie every now and again, just try not to get caught.

Speaking of honesty.....I consider Obama as a Caucasian male! Why not? Flip a coin!!!! He claims his father's race only.....yet he has a Caucasian mother who happened to be the only one in his life to "stick by him!" Go figure!? Does one call this dishonesty or perhaps only a confused person? How can he HONESTLY say he's making history as the 1st "black" in his position? He's just as much white as he is black! Why am I the only one addressing this issue?
Help!

annie   April 22nd, 2008 10:10 pm ET

Great job PA and Hillary! To Sheep – the PA people are brilliant! They know a real candidate when they see one. Not someone who tells one group what they want to hear and the next group what they want to hear and so on and so on! The PA voters have shown they don't want someone with terrorists friends as our President.

Well call me silly, but haven't we all lied to pesky poll takers, be they on the phone, in the mall or in front of a polling station? What places were they polling at? In Obama territory, etc. How can people not understand that polling is just another big business. It's not like they sincerely care, deep in their hearts what your opinion is: but bless this country because we all believe our personal opinion is the only one that matters. Didn't your Mommy repeatedly tell you how special you were?

CONGRATS DEMOCRATS!!
This party has some of the most CLUELESS members in the WORLD. The Democrats are so stupid that they FAIL to rally behind the candidate that can appeal to people across both political sides.

This party seems to not know how to WIN like the Republicans and seems to be content to self destruct.

If McCain wins in Nov. we deserve it 100%

I am over 65 and voted for Obama, and I am ashamed of my peers who are stuck in first gear with the Clinton/Bush years. Isn't it time to move on with refreshing new leadership that Barack Obama represents after all they are going to have to pay the bill for the war Hilary supported and Bush initiated with the Big Lie. Looking forward to Barack Obama's Inauguration Day, it is more than the American dream, it represents authentic leadership, integrity, and inclusive government that will watch out for the blue collar workers like my dad and I. Lets roll Barack you are doing fantastic without all the advantages of being an ex-president, or being married to one.

Hope   April 22nd, 2008 9:59 pm ET

Hillary has done nothing but "lied" over the past couple of weeks, wined, and did her best to tear Obama down any chance she got. Who would want to put the trust and care of this country in the hands of someone like that. She got the supporter of white democrats and white republicans who crossed over to keep an African American from winning. Barack got the support of voters from all ethnic backgrounds..white, black, ...... If, and I mean if, she wins the nomination she won't win against McCain because all those who crossed over will not vote for her the November election. And let's please not forget about all those small states who won't be voting for her so she is so focused on winning the big state. They won't forget how much smaller she has made them feel regardless of race.

Sheep   April 22nd, 2008 9:58 pm ET

This just proves my point that most people in this country are idiots. How else could bush have been elected TWICE?

Please, someone try to prove me wrong.

What about her campaign being $10 million in debt? Do we want someone who can't keep her campaign on budget running this country?

Saul Munoz   April 22nd, 2008 9:51 pm ET

Aren't we so tired of the of the Obamamaniacs, portraying Hillary as an evil person to the American People. At least she is givng all american the opportunity t to vote for whom they think should be the right candidate for the democratic party. If she looses she will l with dignity.

SAM Q, CALIFORNIA   April 22nd, 2008 9:50 pm ET

67 percent say that Senator Obama is more honest than Hillary Clinton. That ofcourse is not surprising. Considering that not even Richard Nixon displayed as much dishonesty as the Clintons did in the White House, the Clintons should actually go down in history as the most dishonest family ever to inhabit the White House. But where did Hillary´s 54 percent (instead of at most 33 percent) come from when 67 percent of the same group of Democrats have already chosen Senator Obama ?

Superman   April 22nd, 2008 9:50 pm ET

I agree. Hillary is more experienced than Obama, experienced in lying, that is. This poll aptly reflects the truth.

Obama '08

Carla - Altoona, Pa   April 22nd, 2008 9:49 pm ET

Karen,
Lets be real. Obviously in 2006 Obama did state he wasnt running, obviously changed his mind. HIS RIGHT!!!

Now Hillary didnt change her mind about bullets flying around her when she stepped off the plane. THERE WERE NO BULLETS FLYING AT ALL!!! LIE LIE LIE. OH, Sorry she mis-spoke??? You better take the blinders off and really listen.

alan   April 22nd, 2008 9:46 pm ET

The poor woman just "misinterprets the truth".

Nate P   April 22nd, 2008 9:42 pm ET

He's only more honest because he hasn't been in the public eye as long as Hillary

L. Mirabeau   April 22nd, 2008 9:41 pm ET

Hillary cannot ever win over America, NEVER! Because most of us see her for what she is.., and that is a soul-less "Chameleon" who will say anything or will "temporarily" stand for anything, while having the ethics to change 180 degrees and deny her previous stand ever occurred in a New York minute, whenever convenient. A vote for Hillary will not benefit America or Americans (except Bill and her) because she stands for nothing other than herself and her goals.

As a Democrat, I WILL NOT vote for a person that finds it so easy to change their "voice", policies, loyalties, morals and can unblinkingly lie about their past positions and her opponents, regardless of the damage she may do to her party in order to obtain her goal.

Rhonda Davis   April 22nd, 2008 9:41 pm ET

I trust Obama. If Hillary somehow pulls off the party nomination-I will vote for McCain...can not trust her

Karen   April 22nd, 2008 9:36 pm ET

In a February 20, 2006 article in Time Magazine Obama stated HE WOULD NOT BE RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT OR VICE PRESIDENT IN 2008. Check it out on the Time website. OOPS – not a lie? Well if you are going to take everything Hillary has ever said as gospel and rip her to shreds when it changes over time, better start using the SAME measurement for Obama. He has been treated with kid gloves despite some fairly significant questions about his ethics yet anyone who questions him is labeled a racist. That is just flat out plain WRONG. So is implying that anyone who decides NOT to vote for him if he does still capture the nomination as not a "real Democrat" because they have concerns about him.

Take off the blinders. He is not the next coming.

Melissa   April 22nd, 2008 9:36 pm ET

Here's an equation to ensure that a good leader is elected:

1.) Decide which candidate you like.

2.) Ask yourself if you voted for Bush.

3.) If you did vote for Bush, then vote for for the opposite candidate than you named in step one.

SUCCESS!

Ashley Bush   April 22nd, 2008 9:35 pm ET

All these reports say Obama has the young, the african american and the educated vote but he lacks in the " blue collar vote". Lets be real it's the old white people that are not voting for him. It's a different generation. It's not the blue collar. I know plenty of blue collar Pennslyvanians who voted Obama. It's a Race War .... and its a shame that people can't vote based on the issues and the man's "elite" credentials rather than color.

dio turner   April 22nd, 2008 9:33 pm ET

Honesty is not bullets flying over my head. It is time for America to change leadership.

Sandra Herron – get your FACTS RIGHT. Obama WAS on the ballot in Florida. I LIVE in Florida and voted (AGAINST OBAMA) in Florida.

And if he hadn't been trying to torpedo Michigan (probably because he would have lost there) he wouldn't have removed himself from the ballot. Voluntarily. HIS CHOICE.

OBAMA is the one who can't be trusted and as time goes on we learn more and more about the skeletons in his closet.

LCF   April 22nd, 2008 9:24 pm ET

Bridgette   April 22nd, 2008 9:22 pm ET

It is what I have been telling people all along the American citizen has gotten so use to be lying to that I think we prefer it. If you have a poll where more people percieve him as being honest then it would seem that more people would have voted for him. So I guess the people in PA prefer a liar over a black man. It's strange to me that you would consider someone negative and untrustworthy and still vote for them. What then is so much worse then a liar??? Makes me wonder exactly what ruler you use to choose your leaders. And then you complain when they lie to you but yet you elected them??? Because the other was what? When people show you who they really are believe them. If they lie about something small...they won't hesitate when it comes to something big. We complain that we don't know enough about one candidate...but what we do know about another is that they are a liar...so let's elect that one....The New Math.

John   April 22nd, 2008 9:07 pm ET

No one can argue that Clinton has more experience in national and international affairs than Obama. I happen to like Obama because I think he brings something new to the table. However, most importantly, I believe what he says and i don't see him as a typical politician. Clinton will go whichever way the wind blows. She voted for the war when it was popular to do so and didn't show the courage to oppose something that she knew was wrong, but was also aware of the popular support. Now that the war has turned into a fiasco, she opposes it. If you recall, in the beginning of the campaign, when asked why she supported the war, instead of saying "i was wrong" her response was "let's not talk about how we got there, let's talk about how we can get out". When I heard that, my mind was made up that this woman could not be trusted. Travelgate and Whitewater add fuel to that fire. People who think Obama doesn't possess the knowledge to be the leader of our nation have a legitimate point. But i prefer to support a candidate with little experience, and no known major flaws, and hope for the best, rather than support someone i believe to be untrustworthy.

Clinton or McCain, but NEVER obama   April 22nd, 2008 9:07 pm ET

I don't know where you obama supporters get off thinking obama will unite the country. Can't you see how divided he's made the democratic party already? Not ONE Clinton supporter will vote for obama. The man is a liar. The man does not love this country. The man is UNFIT. They will not vote for him.

Farrell, Houston, Tx   April 22nd, 2008 9:06 pm ET

As a former law enforcement employee, trust is something you focus on in individuals. Clinton proved to have too many untrustworthy flaws, she may be able to shoot a gun but I wouldn't turn my back on her. Obama, you can bank on him.

i am an obama fan, please you guys, can't you see that clinton is a lier and ambition for power, after the election ends and if she wins she won't do any thing what she is being saying, she were 8 years in the higher office on earth. go Hillary go to bill that way he won't go to another Monica lewisky.

Sandara Herron   April 22nd, 2008 8:52 pm ET

The honesty of Hillary is clearly reflected in wanting Florida and Michigan to count for her. Obama was not even on the ticket. It says alot about her values. I will not be the only one leaving the party if the demorcratic party does not fairly distribute the delegates.

Jennifer S.   April 22nd, 2008 8:52 pm ET

Hillary Clinton has shown that she will say what ever she thinks voters want to hear. As a voter, I don't want someone telling me onlyt what I want to hear, I want someone to tell me the truth. To tell me what they really think about a situation. I don't think having someone who runs a campaign like Hillary has in the White House will benefit America, we have had enough insincere statments from the current administration.

Bill made a statement yesterday and then lied about it today!

Um It could not be that 70% of the MSM articles are negative for Hillary could be the reason could it? A little research and one can quickly see that Obama is quite dishonest. From his book to the last debate he has lied or milead.

Maria Loi   April 22nd, 2008 8:45 pm ET

You, Americans do not see things in depth. This man, Obama is not only politically cunning but in real life equally bad.
These are his sins:
1)Naftagate,
2)Rezkogate- more to be aware of as the courtcase continues.
3)Wrightgate,
4)Small town folksgate
and many more till I am really fedup with it.
When he schooled in two primary schools the second one, he was trained to love the Muslim religion and also to detest the West and America
The reporter had just interviewed two kids and they were taught to believe that the West and America are big bullies. During his childhood days it was worst for i came from that part of the world, Singapore!
Bare in mind, Hillary is 100% American, Obama is not, particularly with such unbalanced childhood.

michael   April 22nd, 2008 8:43 pm ET

Obama has lied during debates (abt Ayers), lied on flyers (Clinton's healthcare plan), and its sad that the media-sensationalised lies of Clinton has somehow painted her has more dishonest. Clinton has lied, and i will admit that, but Obama has done it on a much greater level. Thats the truth. WHy does the media favour him so much? Why cant they sensationalise his lies like they did with Bosnia. She has headlines in all major newspapers. When he lied abt his relation to Ayers, he got a mere mention here and there. And when Obama's campaign calls a conference call to slam Clinton further on her Bosnia mistake, its somehow positive campaigning how? And Obama admitted during the debate that he didnt, but his campaign has done negative campaigning. What kind of candidate distances himself from his campaign effort? Isnt the campaign and staff essentially surrogates for him. If he disowns them and cant lead them along his vision, what kind of a president will he be?

"DO THE CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN PARTY KNOW WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A CHRISTIAN?" I believe with the way the Republican's are already talking about how they plan to "attack" Senator Obama's Character – that is what Jesus would DO ! I am so sick of it, I am sure a lot of America is too. Gas is going to be probably $5.00 by November, Education Loans are 'pay till you die', the $1.00 is what, 0.40 cents in Europe now? Aren't Christian suppose to forgive, turn the other chic? Sometimes the comments that comes from the "conservatives", make me wonder if I am reading the same Bible. Please, "the people, for and by", "the poor", that is what Government is made for, why God placed you there. Sick of negativism. God bless the World and the United States of America...Amen.

All we have to do is look at Sen. Clinton's record of hard work on behalf of children and families, health care, and any number of other issues to see that she is quite trustworthy. "You will know a tree by its fruits." And she has certainly worked hard over the years for the American people. We see no such track record in Sen. Obama. Unfortunately, many people base their beliefs on something other than the facts.

Herman LA, CA   April 22nd, 2008 8:40 pm ET

That should be NO surprise.

Ed   April 22nd, 2008 8:40 pm ET

You are always reporting about polls but never state what the polls are based on. Case in point, an exit poll to the question "who will win the democratic nomination" and you had Obama winning. What was this based on? It is demoralizing that the candidate your supporting will be a loser. So my question is, was this based on a scientific poll and what are the number of people polled. Where were the questions asked. Obviously if its in a black neighborhood Obama will win.

Gbenga   April 22nd, 2008 8:40 pm ET

Only an idiot will believe otherwise

black & proud   April 22nd, 2008 8:40 pm ET

Clinton supporters don't have an arguementfor this, because they support a liar!

Canadian Neighbour   April 22nd, 2008 8:38 pm ET

If Obama is percieved to be the more honest candidate, then how come there is so much media 'HYPE' and excitement about Hillary being the most electable and the better candidate ??

Something is wrong !

Media people it's time to start looking into yourselves.

Patricia   April 22nd, 2008 8:38 pm ET

Thats because he IS more honest. But the sheep will vote for the dishonest woman because she is a woman. Now how intelligent is that?

Oleg, CA   April 22nd, 2008 8:38 pm ET

Only 67%?! What else Hillary must say to them?

Obama 2008

Newman   April 22nd, 2008 8:38 pm ET

Wait a minute, 67 + 54 = 121 %. Doesn't sound too accurate. I would hope also that if somebody found Clinton untrustworthy, they wouldn't vote for her.

Vince - Phoenix   April 22nd, 2008 8:38 pm ET

I don't care about the gender, but if race is a factor, I feel sorry for PA. Too bad for them because they will meet their maker someday.

Diane, PA   April 22nd, 2008 8:34 pm ET

Karen in Cape Cod   April 22nd, 2008 8:32 pm ET
